I had one of the best dining experiences ever. If you go to Jersey City location you must ask for Dana as your server. He gave top tier service, great recommendations, and very polite/friendly/funny. The food was absolutely amazing.

The food and service were amazing! The stuff chicken breast and the filet, well seasoned and very moist. And the carrot cake was very good. The restaurant itself self is beautiful and the staff were great! Thank you to Tiffany our server who was very patient and kind. Will definitely go again.

We had such a lovely dinner here tonight. The food is perfectly prepared and super fresh. I recommend the baked potato(bacon still sizzling and cheese shredded by hand!) and creamed spinach (best I’ve ever had; it’s creamy without being heavy or overly thickened) for sides. I love that the simpler seasoning allows the flavor of the steak to shine. Our server Killian was an absolute delight and the service generally was flawless.

The service was exemplary. Killian who served us was very accommodating and fun to talk with.I appreciate the manager’s accommodation as well. This is my 4th time visited this location and the hospitality never changed. Definitely will recommend this location and comeback to any of our important celebrations.

I made a reservation for a solo birthday dinner here. They were very warm and welcoming. Kevin did an exceptional job. He ensured that I enjoyed myself by continuously checking on me. He was very attentive. Marlon my bartender was great at his drinks making. He too ensured that my glasses were always full and that I enjoyed myself. They made sure I enjoyed my birthday dinner, out some birthday confetti on the table. For appetizer I had the crab cakes. They were really good!! Very flaky with nice big chunks of crab in it. I did the 3 course meal deal. Mac made cheese, brussel sprouts as my sides and lobster tail with steak as my main course. All of it was extremely tasty. For desert I had a mini cheesecake and they came and sang Happy birthday to me. I fully recommend here as it was an enjoyable night.

Myself and my husband ate here on Tuesday July 25,2025. Going out, especially to fine dining can be extremely challenging, as we not only have a 1 year old but I am a disabled parent. We always try to get in and out, eat quick, and try to stay out of the way as we have learned first hand, the world can be very inpatient. From the minute we arrived, the manager Robert, Carlos our server and the entire staff were extremely warm, attentive and so kind. They helped us get seated with our own high chair, had a spot for our stroller, were extremely patient and were so playful and personable to our daughter. You can tell how genuine everyone was. We were able to relax through an amazing meal and dessert. They personally helped us to the family bathroom as it’s extremely hard for me to change my daughter independently. This is a HUGE help. Some restaurants don’t even have a changing table in the men’s room let alone a family bathroom. We were truly touched by everyone’s genuine smiles and kindness. People return to some restaurants for the food.. But in this case, it will definitely be for the people as well as the food. Kindness in this world today, especially to an adaptive person goes a very long way. You truly touched our hearts. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. It was quiet and beautiful. We had the porterhouse steak, garlic mash potatoes, and the 🦞 mac and cheese!! Everyt9hing was cooked to perfection. Mike, our server was excellent, and the manager was kind and had a positive attitude. We will be going back.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Ruth’s Chris! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent—special thanks to our server Killian, who was attentive and friendly. He recommended the Crème Brûlée for dessert, and it did not disappoint—smooth, rich, and perfectly caramelized. Looking forward to coming back again!

Absolutely incredible. The most luscious, fork-tender, buttery filet I’ve ever eaten. In true Ruth Chris fashion, it came sizzling on top of fragrant butter. The potatoes gratin were cheesy and savory (a bit oily but go big or go home!). We ordered the lemon drop and added strawberry to it - delicious and STRONG. Lastly, we ordered a devil’s sin cake to celebrate my birthday. It’s a flourless chocolate and was closer to a chocolate mousse than a traditional crumb cake. It was rich, slightly bitter and perfectly sweet. The interior is beautiful and spacious. Went on a Friday night and had no trouble being seated. Service is excellent and made us feel taken care of. There are paid street parking areas nearby.

The food was very tasty and delicious! The staff and including the manager was so sweet and kind! We had a server who was training a new employee and gave us an amazing service and the food was amazing! Thank you to the staff and the manager who gave us a wonderful service and hats off to the cooks in the back of the house! The food was simply delicious and very flavorful food!

We had the best service from Dana and our busser... they were both warm, friendly, and inviting. The meal was delicious, and as expected, we couldn't help but overeat! Thanks all for a fun and fabulous evening!

Ok so we went here for my birthday 7 people the ambiance was great. We were greeted by 2 lovely hostesses, we give our name the original reservation was 6 but we had 7 when got there so they asked us to sit for 5min in the waiting area while they adjusted the seating. We were seated right away we were greeted by the waiters ask if we wanted regular water or sparkling water 10 minutes they were back with sparkling water and bread and butter. Then we had our menues I have to say this place wasn't busy on this night not sure if it's always like this. The food was exsalent the wine was great the only thing is they don't serve mixed drinks like pinacoladas or margaritas, also they didn't have those little towel-lets to sanitize your hands at the table so we had to go and wash our hands what can I say we're clean freaks. All in all we had a wonderful adult night. Side note I suggest it's not really for kids there's no kids menue.

We went out for dinner this Sunday to celebrate my niece's birthday. The food was flavorful and tailored to our tastes. The drinks were plentiful, which we enjoyed. We were all focused on watching the game. David, our waiter, was very attentive. I believe I left a generous tip of $100.00, but he never returned to thank us, which felt very rude—especially given the current state of the world. It was unbelievably rude!

A Masterclass in How to Disrespect Paying Customers Ruth’s Chris doesn’t serve hospitality; it serves contempt, plated hot and priced like a luxury experience. This place wears the costume of fine dining while operating with the soul of an airport bar staffed by people who resent your existence. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is unmistakable: smug indifference masquerading as professionalism. The staff isn’t just inattentive—they’re actively hostile, as if your presence is an inconvenience interrupting their social hour. Requests are met with eye rolls, delays feel intentional, and basic courtesy is treated like an optional upgrade. The steak? Overpriced mediocrity riding on a reputation that expired years ago. Any halfway competent home cook with a cast iron pan could outperform this kitchen without the arrogance or the bill shock. Paying triple digits for food this uninspired feels less like dining and more like being conned in a suit. Management deserves special mention—not for leadership, but for their impressive ability to enable the dysfunction. Complaints are dismissed, accountability is nonexistent, and the vibe is clear: they don’t care, and they don’t have to. Ruth’s Chris banks on its name to excuse behavior that would shut down an independent restaurant in a month. This isn’t fine dining—it’s a corporate steakhouse cosplay where the customer is the punchline. Do yourself a favor: take your money, your appetite, and your dignity elsewhere. There are plenty of places that respect their guests. This isn’t one of them.

Food overall was good but experience on new years wasn’t. They broke glass on table and got shards of it all over me and did little to help, forget a cocktail in first round of drinks, didn’t have first two wines we tried to order, poured wine for table and dint have enough for me to have glass as taster, didn’t have more of that bottle to finish sharing, didn’t tell us they were out of wine so went without drinks during most of meal, wait times and check in were infrequent, told pregnant guest they weren’t doing mocktails because bar was busy.

TERRIBLE LOCATION! THEY RUINED OUR THANKSGIVING! I love Ruth Chris and every Thanksgiving my family dines at one. I NEVER experienced such TERRIBLE service in my entire life as I did yesterday! For starters they brought us cold coffee! Three of us ordered French onion soup after 45 minutes they said they ran out of French onion soup and came with tomato soup! Ten minutes later the table across from us had French onion soup! Appetizers took 1.5 hours to come to our table! Dinner came 2.5 hours after ordering! We never even got our entire order either! They brought dinners out with no sides! Only one person received their sides! After complaining and after everyone finished their dinner 30 minutes later we received two sides of the sweet potato casserole and one lobster Mac and cheese. We were still missing one additional side of lobster Mac and cheese and one sweet potato casserole and we never received it either! When dessert came we were missing two cheesecakes which we never received either! The food we did receive was excellent besides the carrot cake, but the service and the whole experience was TERRIBLE! John our waiter was a nightmare! He blamed it on the kitchen. All his tables in my area I can hear them complaining about him as well! Do yourself a favor and dine at a different location!
