Not exactly the nicest storefront, but they were open Christmas Eve lunchtime so that’s a bonus. Pizza looks and tastes good as well.

I have ordered delivery twice from here and they have messed up both times. I try to call and let them know just to see if they can do anything about it and nobody answers the phone. I have called over 10 times and I just stay on hold. Yes the food is decent when made correct but if it’s wrong there is no way to get ahold of them unless you actually go into the store

Food came quick, but they gave me like 1oz of sauce for an entire order of breadsticks. So cheap.

Ordered the 16' XL pepperoni pizza for $9.99. We picked up, got home and see this. We got a large stuffed crust pepperoni pizza. Cut weird and falling apart. Someone else is mad because they got our pizza. 😆

Deliver cold pizza and then refuses to answer phone. Buyer beware. 2nd time in a row.

I ordered my food at 10:46 it’s 12:14 currently and I have no food in sight and the $16 from my bank account is gone. Idk who was working 3/19/24 around 11:25 and answered the phone when I called but I’m surely gonna be giving a complaint and my money back as soon as they open tmr morning. Canceling my order okay fine. But no you kept my money and let my food sit waiting for a DoorDash just to then tell me “yes, we just sent the delivery driver out” okay… so if ones there… why let my food sit till last minute? Very unprofessional and misleading. I called and got automatically transferred to a Kyle location. I’m very pissed off, I’m hungry, and In my eyes they stole MY money. I never received my food and they took my money. THAT IS STEALING.

Instead of paying attention to me to order, I experience a staff member intentionally ignoring me.

All of our food arrived cold. The garlic bread sticks came plain. We were also missing all of our sauces. Wasted $52.. not eating any of this. I want a refund.

Absolutely terrible service! Ordered through the app. We didn’t get what we ordered. The delivery driver placed the pizza on the wet carpet and sped off. Waited on the phone for 19 min to be told it’s not their fault and I could come in. Was also told it was our fault for how we ordered. Absolutely terrible customer service!

So I understand that ordering a pizza on a Friday evening may take a while for delivery .. mine took 2.5 hours. I get it that people make mistakes. For example the delivery driver forgot my 2 liter and dipping sauces. That’s fine I’m not upset in the slightest. These things happen... BUT what absolutely infuriated me is when the delivery driver upon being informed that I have missing items says “oh hold on I’ll be right back”… walks away, gets in his car and leaves. Just leaves…no explanation, no “I’m sorry”… nothing… (this gets better) I then call the local papa johns. Hit the option the “speak to a manager” through their phone system then hold for about five minutes to then have someone answer the call, say “we closed” and then immediately hang up on me…wow, just WOW!! absolutely the worst papa Johns experience ever. After looking up their reviews from other folks this seems to be pretty par for the course at this location at least. John Schnatter might have been a right wing nut bag, but at least there was some customer service quality on his watch.

Do not believe the person taking your order for delivery when they tell you 24 to 34 minutes!!!! It took 90 minutes!!!! After waiting one hour, I called the manager to check on our order and was told it was out for delivery and the driver knew where to deliver it. It seriously took another half hour to arrive and was ice cold. We had been driving across Texas all day and were just too tired to want to fight more traffic to go out to a restaurant, and then had the worst pizza delivery experience of our lives. We are in our 60’s and not new to ordering pizza delivered to our motels. This will be the last time we ever order from a Papa Johns!

This location Cancelled our order of 8 pizzas with 30 minutes notice before we were expecting them for a lunch meeting!!!! I called the night before to place our order since I knew I'd have a busy morning. They pulled up my phone number, asked if they were delivering to our company address, I confirmed, took my order, they processed my credit card. I even called this morning at 10am to RECONFIRM our delivery order and asked if they could bring it close to 12 so it would be hot. They confirmed the order again....... At 11:22 they called to tell me they couldn't deliver to our address because we were outside of their delivery area! Not impressed how they left us hanging at the last minute and cancelled our order without making an exception for their error!! Poor management! Thank Goodness the manager Darin at Papa John's in Kyle was able to save the day! He got 8 pizza's ready at the last minute and sent David out to deliver them in a hurry! They jumped into action and got the job done and I will encourage all 500 of our employees to order from them!!! Thank you PAPA JOHN'S KYLE!!!!

Sad to see this place struggling and I’m assuming understaffed. Pizza wasn’t made right and music was blasting so loud inside had to yell over it. The girl working the front was having a hard time and the guy in the back didn’t seem to care

DO NOT order from this location if you expect to actually get food. The last time I ordered was nearly 4 months ago and they delivered to the wrong address. When I tried to get the order replaced I was accused of lying about not recieving my food. We have a ring camera. No one ever approached our door. Tonight we decided to order and there was a 30-40 minute wait time. It has been nearly 2 hours and we have not received our food. The tracker has said the order has been in preparation the entire time. I've currently been on hold trying to cancel my order for over 30 minutes and they close in 20 minutes, so I can only assume they're ignoring their phone until they close. Order Gumbys instead, they're food is fantastic and they actually answer the phone if there's an issue with an order.

Missing item on my delivery order. Attempted to contact the store for over 30min to resolve the issue and never got to talk to anybody in the store. Customer service just transfers you to the store that doesn't pick up the phone. I use to love Papa john's and now have no intentions on using them again.

Sadly, this Papa John’s does not like to make money after 11 o’clock as they do not take orders at the store after 11 o’clock how weird to run a business and not want money after the busiest time when everyone is out on a Saturday night..

They got my order entirely wrong. I asked for stuff crust peperoni and an alfredo pasta w chicken. I got delivered a regular peperoni no stuffed crust and my alfredo had no pasta only chicken and was marinara instead of alfredo. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience and i will never order from papa john’s again.

Ordered a 3 topping pizza. Received a one topping pizza. I called to see about getting the correct pizza I ordered after it was delivered and I realized it was wrong. They refused to answer any calls for 30 mins. I called the custimer service line and they forwarded me back to the store and they finally answered. They said they were out of the missing toppings but if youre out of a topping why wouldn't you let someone know or reduce the price of the pizza? I asked for them to rectify this and they put me on hold for nearly an hour. I hung up and tried calling back like 15 times and no answer. So I had to contact customer service again and file a complaint/dispute. I wont hear back for up to 48 hours. Some of us order delivery because we work long shifts with no breaks and this is our only option to eat all day long. Do yourself a favor and eat any other pizza place there are tons of good ones nearby.

This place is as bad as it gets. They will give you horrible food and refuse to refund you. Pura basura.

I wanted to give these kids benefit of the doubt, but this order just stink. I would use a different word, but I would get blocked. These guy obviously don’t care, which is understandable, but do something else. The corporate office is loosing so many customers because of this group of derelicts. I live 5 min from the store, and my pizza was ice cold when I got home. I am sorry you don’t like your job, but I hustled got off a 12 hour shift, and my kids are hungry. Take pride in something. I will not spend a cent at papa John’s for the rest of my life.

I have ordered from this location twice and both times items were missing. The first one was a couple months ago and they didn't give me any of the sauces I payed for (3+ sauces) and this time not only did they not give me sauce but they also did not send the cookie we ordered. Sadly my boyfriend did not check the order before the driver left so we don't know if they even had it. I will no longer order from this location and choose a different pizza place instead and I think others should do the same.

This Papa John's location is a complete disaster! The lack of cleanliness is appalling, and the service is practically nonexistent. To make matters worse, the staff preparing the food seem to have no regard for proper hygiene – no gloves, no proper attire, and definitely no care for the customer. The customer service experience was the worst I've ever encountered. Save your money and your appetite – avoid this Papa John's at all costs!

I walked in, NO ONE acknowledged me, the guys started playing their music all loud, while I was still standing there. Someone else walked in and that tall guy helped him out right away! . Afterwards I was still standing there with no one helping me. Till I spoke up trying to get someone’s attention I got help. I love Papa P’s Pizza but this location ain’t it.

Went in for take-out, the employees working there were messing around in the back not doing their job. Then when I left with my order I noticed that they forgot half of the items I payed for. Tried calling the store and these people never answer the phone, I was on hold for 20 minutes. Pizza was handed out cold. Absolutely ridiculous honestly.

I called in a delivery order Friday morning and was told that I should be able to get it by 6:45pm that same evening. Wrong. I was out doing laundry and since I didn't have time to do dinner myself, I thought I would get a small pizza and eat it while doing laundry. Great idea, totally not do-able. First off, trying to talk to human beings at Papa John's is pretty much next to impossible on the phone. They have that terrible commercial that plays when the employees don't want to answer the phone. The pizza that I wanted was actually two dollars cheaper by phone than online. The person that I spoke with assured me that I could have it delivered at the required time. I asked if they had their own delivery people and she said yes. 6:45 came and went, no call, no nothing from Papa John's. I had to call and found out that they were "behind", and they would call me. Right. 7:45 came and went and as I was getting ready to leave to come home, I get a call from a Missouri number. Figured it was a scam call, so I ignored it. Then a few minutes later the same number calls again with a text this time. Turns out it is a door dash driver for Papa John's wanting to know where I was. I told her that I was where I was supposed to be, and asked her where was she? Two minutes away she said. It seems that she had been by the laundry mat and didn't know who she was supposed to deliver to. She could have texted me the first time and avoided confusion. Now, it's after 8:00pm. I got my order and she got no tip. The pizza was cold, looked like it had been in the fridge for a while. The quality was edible, but I don't think that I will do business with this company again. Very disappointed.

They called to have a car towed, and when my husband went down there to pick it up, the district manager came out and started yelling at my husband, telling him not to tow the car. Lack of respect, and he was just doing what he's told by the towing company. The district manager was trying to fight him. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I had the worst experience this evening. This location was unprofessional, and completely disregarded me as a customer. I understand that they are busy and short staff, I will and did not hold that agains them. I ordered my pizza on the app, my order was EXTREMELY delayed and no notification or heads up was given. Once it was delivered, it was left on my front door and once again no notification or heads up was given. I find my pizza 10-15 min later, of course cold… Once I opened the box I notice not only is it cold, it’s also wrong! I usually do not complain and only write positive reviews but that was just bad all around. I called Papa Johns to let them know and all they could do was make excuses, not once did they take any responsibility.The manager then said he could refund the incorrect pizza only (which was fine by me) but then put me on hold and forgot about me. 22 minutes later my husband called and tore him a new one, it was then that the refund for the one pizza was issued. I gave one star because we were able to at least eat one pizza.

I ordered the buy 1, get one free and paid for green peppers on both pizzas. Once the pizza arrived to my house, there wasn't any green peppers or pepperoni. The box was even hot or had grease on the inside of the box. I called the store and the lazy manager told me to call Uber Eats. The pizza was old, they just added extra cheese on top to cover what they didn't add to my pizza. This new generation is lazy.

This is the worst pizza I have ever had. I ordered 2 toppings got only one. Several slices didnt even have cheese and the Canadian bacon looked like the guy grabbed a small handful and threw it all in the center. I will never order from here again. I could have gotten a better pizza at Little Ceasars.

I hadn't been in here in a while cause the quality had gone down. Decided to try it again today. Both my pizza and cheese bread were under baked and had raw dough. The pizza was supposed to have light sauce. Instead, it was light cheese and heavily sauced.

This is the WORST location on the face of the planet! Every single time I order either a delivery, or pickup, the order is somehow not ready and is always delayed! I ordered 3 hours in advance today, and requested a 10 p.m. delivery. It is now 11:09 p.m. and my order is still in the making. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE SHAME PAPA JOHNS! This is a first hand scam. I don’t care even if someone ordered 1000 pizzas, and the workers are busy. I placed my order 3 HOURS IN ADVANCE! I better be seeing a full refund and a worthy compensation for my order that never arrived and my money stolen! Absolute disgrace!

The second time I did not see the order was wrong until I arrived back to my residence. From the second I walked through the door it was going wrong,... I get skipped in line because the Night Crew is not attentive to any customer whatsoever, customers simply walk in, stand and wait for some one to attend to them. As I waited I looked to see that the restaurant is soo disorganized and soo dirty, not exaggerating the restaurant looks like the owner is filing bankruptcy, when I did get attended to and got to my residence the pizza had slices with no toppings than other slices had a pile of toppings, the Night Crew's behavior is unprofessional and they are not friendly people than when they do talk to you they want to beg you for a gratuity, they have a easily seen "I do not care" attitude. I reside in San Marcos however I am going to have to start driving to New Braunfels when I order from Papa Johns Pizza.

Went inside because it said food was ready, went in and there was not a person in sight, but smelt of weed and vulgar music was blasting. Place looks abandoned with crickets and no tables. Finally got someone to ask what I needed after waiting a while. Order wasn’t even fully done and had to wait on the other item. While waiting the workers were not answering the phone and one had their pants all the way down sagging. Clearly they don’t care to do their job. JUST DON’T GO HERE, this place needs help.

Ordered online never got my pizza I got BBQ wings instead??? When I tried to call for a refund or to get my pizza no one answered. I called from a different number they answered but then disconnected me after putting me on hold twice.

Asked the delivery guy why it wasn’t the one I ordered and why it was warm and he told me to “just put ice in it”…. I’m pretty sure the delivery guy was high because I couldn’t understand most of what he said and he was over 20 minutes later than the original timeline. I should have read reviews before ordering.
