This place has been around for years. I pop in from time to time. It’s always clean, friendly, and fresh high quality food! My fresh orange and carrot juice will help me spring back from a busy weekend at the Reno Quilt Show at the Grand Sierra Resort.

The employee at the register was lovely and so friendly, and the food was surprisingly huge portions for pretty affordable prices! Great flavors as well and got two meals out of my order.

Really good quality Mexican food with big portions and great prices. Super chicken nachos was really delicious. Grilled chicken, guacamole, cheese, salsa and sour cream. Service was friendly, efficient and very quick. This was a great experience all around, I highly recommend Taqueria Los Primos 👌 Update January 2026: Got the Super Nachos with carnitas. Absolutely mouthwatering delicious. Lots of moist carnitas, melted cheese, chips, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo. Included a small bowl of grilled onions and a roasted Jalapeño, complimentary chips and salsa verde. All for exactly $12! Service is always friendly and efficient. Do yourself a favor and eat here! Great all around experience 👍

best tacos i’ve ever had in my life! travelling in the bay area, i’ve tried 4 different places and i had to come back for the al pastor tacos before my flight. 🙏 delicious 10/10

Fantastic taqueria - portions are generous and the prices are very cheap. Ordered 2 regular tacos ($3.50 each): pastor (bbq pork) and carnitas (fried pork) - both were delicious. The tortillas are doubled so you don’t need to worry about the taco breaking. My friends ordered the wet burrito which was also delicious. Each table also comes with complimentary and refillable nachos with green, red and spicy salsa.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's overflowing with hospitality on the inside. Our server was just about the nicest woman ever. Super friendly. Breakfast burritos were huge, very reasonably priced, and delicious. Extremely moist. Unlimited chips & salsa served alongside them for free. Pro tip, they have coffee, despite it not being on the menu anywhere. There were also quite a few people grabbing beers with their 10am breakfast so don't be shy if you want to partake!

Very happy to find this place!! We had shrimp and fish tacos and they were absolutely delicious! Juicy and fresh and a lot of shrimp (also not salty at all. Had freshly squeezed juice and loved it. Such a great deal. Must try

Incredible...simply the best tacos I've ever had. Simple, flavourful, the meats crisped to perfection. The tortillas things of beauty. If you look at my other reviews, you'll see that I'm trying to find Taqueria perfection in the bay area. While I'll continue to try others, at this point, this is it!

I was visiting Northern California again, found this place through Google, when we first saw it I had second thoughts. but it turned out this is truly a hole in the wall mom-and-pop restaurant and that’s not in a bad way. Typically a hole in the wall restaurant has very delicious food this place has a very delicious Authentic Mexican food. Now, I didn’t order anything special. I had a chicken burrito extra meat no rice. #1. the food was cooked well and when you pay for extra chicken, here you get extra chicken! the burrito was huge, very delicious chicken and the flavor bursted at first bite. Real talk! #2. Mexican ladys receive you with their homemade tortilla chips and their guacamole salsa. for free!, Bomb salsa! These ladies customer service was through the roof, really made you feel welcomed and making sure you had everything you needed and with extra salsa, extra chips, without asking for it, like grandma would do for you. Just trying to feed you. They brought grilled jalapeños, grilled onions on the side and this was before my burrito was served. The customer service and the atmosphere really allowed me to enjoy my lunch. These two things have ruined my lunch experience in many other places. Great food, great experience. definitely recommend it, definitely will be coming back when I’m in Northern California again. Gracias señoritas!

Good food, typical taqueria in suburban San Francisco. Great varieties of meat to chooses from and portion sizes are generous. They use double tortillas for their tacos which makes them very filling.. staff are good and helpful. Bathrooms are outside so have to request keys.. food comes quick and don't forget to ask for fried onions and jalapenos that are available complementary for tacos.. price is reflective of San Francisco, bit on the upside but that's true for all locations in the region..Will go again.

Great food and easy parking. Located in the "other area" of San Mateo, not so fancy but all really good food options. This is a sit-down taqueria. I ordered one taco with rice and beans and it was plenty! 💪 The sauces are very authentic.

Ordered a super burrito with no beans, received a regular by mistake on a take out order. Chips and salsa included, which were great, green salsa especially. Burrito was large size, but with only meat and rice inside did not satisfy. They do not offer a breakfast burrito anymore and said they were out of eggs. I would give them another chance but would eat there to ensure my order was right, and get more chips and salsa!

I couldn't get the restroom door unlocked. It was strangely located outside around the corner from the dinning room. Although they were very friendly. No one spoke or understood English very well so my boyfriend's order wasn't exactly correct. There was a burnt layer of cheese all the way around my burrito. It was almost inedible. When I heated the leftover for lunch the next day I emptied the burrito into a bowl leaving the burnt cheese and tortilla for the dog. I enjoyed that very much. The dog was grateful as well.😁 It was also sort of expensive almost $40 for 2 burritos.
