We have come to Mendocinos a number of times and always had a good experience however the last time we were there was exceptional. Not only was the food delicious as usually but the service was outstanding. They had gotten my order wrong and were so helpful and prompt in fixing the mistake. They also granted us two complimentary cookies for the mistake which was unnecessary but well received. 100% recommend both food and service!

Friendly service. I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich. It did take a little long to get my order. However, it did not disappoint. It was hot toasty and delicious! It is a bit pricey for deli type sandwich. I got the sandwich, diet coke and potatoes chips and came to $26. Clean establishment including the restroom. I would return again if I ever venture to that area again.

We visited for lunch on a Saturday. The attendant at the counter was patient, reapectful, and quick. We dined in. There were plenty of open tables. The service time was about right. I found the noise level comfortable. Finally, and most important the not so fried chicken sandwich was delicious, and the best part of the visit. I am a fan of Mendocino Farms, and this visit lived up to their great reputation. I expect to visit here again when I return to the area. The prices were ok, about on par with what I expected for lunch at a counter service restaurant. The prompt for a giant tip was a slight annoyance, but I was feeling generous. If you order food at the counter you should not be prompted for a tip as big or bigger than the customary amount for full table service. The default tips shown were too high given that.

Love the salads at this Mendocino Farms location in San Mateo! All the ingredients were fresh and perfectly presented, even in the take-out containers. Fast and super friendly staff. The parking lot can be very busy and a bit chaotic, but the underground parking lot has a lot of spots and easier to navigate.

My classmates and I just finished our second visit to Mendocino Farms and we’ve already decided this is our go-to spot during clinicals! 🩺🥗 Their salads and sandwiches are not only super fresh but also so satisfying after a long day—it’s the perfect mix of healthy and delicious. Special shoutout to the supervisor/manager in the checkered polo shirt—he was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating both times we came. Honestly, he made us feel at home and gave us the best experience. 💯 We’ll definitely be back again (and again)! If you’re looking for great food and even better service, Mendocino Farms is the place.

I’m a big fan of this Mendocino Farms bc the staff is so friendly and helpful! I usually go for the Avocado Ensalada, with added chicken and I swap the recommended Chipotle dressing with Caesar.

Recently we got to dine at Mendocino Farms and had a great experience. Parking wasn't too bad as there are quite some spots to grab from in the big parking lot around the complex. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's interior is tastefully designed with a modern yet rustic feel. It's spacious, well-lit, and adorned with charming decor that creates a cozy and welcoming environment. However, we decided to sit outside and make use of some daylight while we enjoyed our meal. The staff at Mendocino Farms were very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They happily accommodated my dietary preferences and made helpful recommendations (around a veggie salad that i was looking for). This level of service truly enhanced the overall dining experience. Mendocino Farms takes pride in using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients, and it shows in every bite. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from artisan sandwiches and hearty salads to creative sides and gourmet beverages. We ordered the Avocado and Quinoa Salad along with Peruvian Steak, Pink beats and Goat Salad and last but not the least, a BYO (Build your own) Chicken Salad with mixed greens. I had the Quinoa salad and it definitely tasted divine. Everybody around the table had similar reviews for their orders and loved every bite of their meal. The portions were generous, and every ingredient was fresh and flavorful. Mendocino Farms definitely has the quality and portion sizes justify the prices. It's an excellent choice for a special meal or when you're craving something a bit more upscale. All in all , the combination of exceptional food, top-notch service, and a charming atmosphere makes it an outstanding dining destination. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Super good food, delicious and healthy! Friendly, helpful staff. I've never had a bad experience here. Great salads and sandwiches. Yummy Thai turmeric lemonade. Both inside and outside seating. Accessible parking right out front. Parking is very busy. It's in the center w Whole Foods. Across from Kaiser.

UPD 4/20 Still fantastic! Love love love the new BOWLS menu. My favourite is Mediterranean Chicken Bowl and Peruvian Steak Bowl, my bf is crazy about their Southwestern Chicken Bowl (the name might be wrong). Nico does a great job and so does the rest of the team. We come here at least twice a week. ____________ This place is fantastic. From customer service to cleanliness, from food quality to portion size, taste, ingredients — I loved it all and will be back. Their “healthiest” salad IS MY FAVORITE! Thank you and please don’t change anything lol

I can only simply say wow! The experience eating at this Mendocino‘s was completely different than the other one on San Ramon. The people working here were very friendly and very communicative with my order I have no complaints at all also they still have their Fontaine drinking machine with this very exotic flavor drinks which I love it very much.. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The sandwiches where Very well made. I ordered The Peruvians sandwich and the impossible burger which are very tasty and very delicious not so juicy but also not so dry simply perfect. Thank you so much guys for making such good sandwiches and giving the customer a nice and very friendly experience by eating at your restaurant thank you
