Great selection of high quality beans. I am very picky about my dark roast coffees. Aunt really loved the dark roast drip coffee. Also enjoyed a chocolate cream cheese muffin that was yummy. The service, by possibly the owner, was very kind. Felt like a nice mom and pop shop. Definitely recommend. Also reasonable prices

My favorite coffee shop. The espresso is fantastic. They roast their beans fresh regularly. All the staff are really friendly and good people. I highly recommend a breve latte here, and for food I absolutely recommend the lox bagel - its so good.

I am a regular for several reasons. Lenny roasts his own beans, from which they know how to pull a great shot of espresso. With great espresso, he and his staff can make the best coffee drinks in Marin. They also carry my favorite protein power bar, homemade from whole grains and peanut butter, with low sugar--terrific with coffee. The atmosphere is conducive to working: writing, drawing, studying, because the customers are usually quiet and polite, and the owners handle the street people before they can make a ruckus or trash the bathroom--which is always clean and fresh. This is the kind of coffee shop you can stay for five minutes or five hours, and are always treated with the best of service!

Nice alternative to the high priced and cookie cutter vibe offered by Starbucks. Comfortable and quiet with friendly people at the counter. Anything you can get at that other place, Royal Ground can make a damn tasty and probably cheaper knockoff. They were here before Starbucks was on every corner and I appreciate that too.

You won’t find better service anywhere. I absolutely love this place. My only complaint is I can’t order online or call in since I love grabbing it on my way to work. The coffee also tastes amazing and is priced very fairly. The staff always remember me and my order which i appreciate so much. Fast and easy coffee with loving service

Royal Ground Coffee is more than just a coffee shop to me. Almost everything I could say about this place would not do it justice. Their drink menu is impressively delicious, with a variety of options for casual to serious coffee drinkers. Their drinks are all very affordable, being noticeably cheaper than your usual Starbucks or Peet’s. The actual place has a very comfy, rustic vibe to it. Multiple times I’ve found myself spending hours there working or just chatting with friends. The service is also excellent. You’ll get your order less than a minute after you place it and it’s always the right temperature. The staff is also wonderful, and you can tell that they really value their customers. Royal Ground Coffee is sadly closing in September, 2022, so if you have time in the morning and you’re in the area, I highly suggest visiting it. Maybe if we support them enough they will be able to keep their amazing business going. I have nothing but praise for Royal Ground Coffee and happily rate it 5 stars.

Wonderful cafe! Firstly the coffee is quality 👍 strong and freshly roasted. Secondly the pastries are on point for sure, with a unique variety. Thirdly at atmosphere was lively, with very cozy seating, spaciousness, and a unique touch of the Asian culture. But for me what makes this cafe so special is the owners. I got the chance to connect with them and they took care of me like i was family. You can feel the love for their cafe and it makes for a memorable experience.

If you enjoy speaking 50 words a second, you gotta come here. I had the depth charge and I don't think I fully heard what was in it before saying "yeah this seems like a good idea"! This place is a nice coffee roasters with the toaster machine in the back of the shop. They have a massive menu, lots to read and even more to look at behind the glass. Lots of treats and stuff you'd expect from a coffee place. The staff are friendly and the coffee is good. They have non-coffee stuff too but why would you do that?

The owner of the Royal ground is the best. This is your straightforward, local coffee joint. No frills, but everything that you need and want for an early morning. Drip 4/5.

Used to be a great place to get a coffee and pastry but now the pastries are are kind of old and I got a cookie what was petrified it was sitting in this display case way too long plus lady behind is kind of upset not friendly there's a lot of other words you can use for it let's just leave it at not friendly all we got really going for this place is a pretty good cup of coffee that's about it !
