Fuimos en domingo a comer, era la semana de fiestas grande de San Sebastián. Solo tenían menú por 35€. Incluye 5 primeros y 5 segundos, postre y bebida. Presentación excelente y calidad-precio acorde. Muy satisfechos.

En un ambiente muy agradable he comido muy bien. El servicio muy amable y eficiente, la comida riquísima y el ambiente muy acogedor. Especialmente me ha gustado la ensalada de pera que pedí. El Risotto también estuvo espectacular.

Desde el primer momento, la experiencia culinaria fue impecable. La calidad de los ingredientes salta a la vista y al paladar: cada plato demuestra un cuidado excepcional por el producto y su tratamiento. La presentación es elegante sin caer en excesos, logrando un equilibrio visual que abre el apetito incluso antes del primer bocado. La combinación de sabores es armoniosa y sorprendente, con contrastes bien medidos que muestran creatividad sin perder el respeto por la esencia de cada ingrediente. Es evidente que hay técnica, pasión y criterio detrás de cada preparación. El trato del personal merece una mención especial: cercano, hospitalario y profesional, logrando que uno se sienta cómodo y bien atendido sin invadir. En conjunto, una experiencia gastronómica de altísimo nivel que invita a volver.

Muy buenos pinchos y muy buena gente! Perfecto para tomarse unos pinchos ricos con una caña (especial mención a la croqueta de bacalao). También tienen menú del día en la planta de arriba aunque no lo probé ya que los pinchos tenían muy buena pinta.

Fuimos a comer por las reseñas y totalmente un acierto. Tienen un comedor arriba con unas vistas muy bonitas al puerto, ambiente muy tranquilo y acogedor. Cogimos el menú del mediodía, estaba todo muy rico y muy bien cocinado. Pablo fue muy amable y atento todo el rato con nosotros. Un sitio de 10, muy recomendable.

Muy buena ubicación y sobre todo reseñar la atención. Fue una maravilla. Vivimos en primera persona como se preocupa por cada cliente. Nosotros fuimos con perro y nos atendió como si estuviéramos en casa. Volveréis una y otra vez!

Desde el primer momento la atención ha sido magnífica. Comida muy buena y bien presentada. Nos vamos con ganas de volver.

Comida espectacular y pescado fresquísimo. Probamos el pulpo y los chipirones y estaban de diez. La terraza con vistas al mar es una maravilla. Atención excelente y trato cercano. ¡Un lugar para repetir sin duda!

We noticed this little pintxos bar earlier in the day and loved that it wasn’t packed with tourists it had such an authentic, local vibe. Later that night, when everywhere else was crazy busy, we decided to come back, and we were so glad we did. The man behind the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was outstanding the beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and even the olives were amazing. He mentioned it gets busy in the summer with the beach so close by, and I can see why it’s such a perfect spot!

Accompanied with friendly and experienced staff, the Aita Mari is a beautiful building with some amazing views Upstairs. Our family of five stopped by for a bite, as it was not yet dinner time but we already wanted something to eat. We decided to order pintxos, refreshing drinks for kids and a few glasses of local wine. We had to wait for 30 minutes for a table upstairs in the restaurant, but were rewarded with a beautiful view of the marina and the lighthouse. The food was really very good. I had a really nicely balanced mushroom risotto, then a beautifully succulent monkfish. The cheesecake had a lovely light texture. Recommended!

DOG FRIENDLY!!! Fabulous place and super friendly staff. It was raining and we arrived with a soaking wet dog who they accommodated with water and even some leftover tortilla de patata!!! If only google allowed us to rate with 7 stars!!!

Whilst we wanted to experience the Old Town tapas bars, many were just too busy and we did not want to queue for ages. What a find this was, with really good tapas, inside tables and outside space also, and the restaurant upstairs served a set lunch. Thanks to previous reviewers for recommending the evening dinner set menu, the three courses and bottle of wine for €99.00 was great value. There was plenty of space between tables, nice background music and a really good atmosphere. Service was excellent, as was the food, we really enjoyed our chilled evening at Aita Mari, thanks.

We had the semana grande menu (48 pp including a bottle of wine). Everything was excellent! We had the crepe filled with crab, which was excellent, the veal cheeks, and the cheesecake, which was light but very tasty. A lot of food, I had trouble finishing it all. Excellent quality - price ratio.

The pintxos were really good but they're quite badly understaffed at the bar. I know having to wait and hustle for your turn to order is normal here but it's just that much harder at this place. The staff is great but they're just short-handed. I would still recommend the place, but do temper your expectations on service.

A really great atmosphere with amazing food (especially the goats cheese salad). The photos show the monk fish and cod mains which were incredible. The service was a standout too. Very friendly, generous and accommodating serving staff.

Excellent lunch menu, the chef in charge is truly talented and I am not sure if he is the maitre D or the owner but there is one man there who absolutely is amazing, treats every diner so well and is so helpful though his English is limited so knowing Spanish really helps. The food is excellent considering the set lunch menu is only 25 euro per person it’s amazing value for money. Only thing is it’s not a big restaurant so you must call ahead of time or book a few days in advance to eat, as it’s very difficult for them to squeeze you in if not. In all an awesome restaurant you must visit. It’s not a Michelin star but it certainly deserves one

Luminoso. Menú Mediodía incluyendo bebida por 36 €, incluso los Fines de Semana, correcto en la relación Calidad / Precio. Nos gustaron: el Festival de Verduras con virutas de Jamón ibérico, el Lomo de Róbalo 🐟 con salsa Bizkaina y patatas 🥔 panaderas, y el Solomillo de Cerdo 🐖 a la pimienta con Pimientos 🫑 verdes fritos. Bueno el Mouse de Chocolate 🍫 con Crema de mandarina 🍊 . Servicio atento y simpático, Público local de la ciudad.

Aita Mari came recommended by friends. The atmosphere was great. The music that day we all loved. Our first plates were okay. The risotto was definitely not risotto. Just rice with some veggies. So not their best dish. I liked everything else. One of my dining partners did not like most of what we ordered. Our service was great. And the portions were BIG. I would go there again.

English people - avoid. I tried to order in Spanish and was belittled by the female bar tender. I apologised and said I only spoke English. She belittled that. She kept repeating my poor Spanish and pulled faces at me, suggesting I was an idiot, raising her voice and making me feel like I was incoherent. We were forced to leave, cheered by Spanish people. I have been visiting Spain for a decade and have until now been welcomed no matter how bad my attempts to speak Spanish have been. Ruined the day.

Shortest variety of pintxos in town. When I asked the waiter (argentinians, not basques) if they had other warm pintxos or any tapa, he responded in a rude way if what I saw (5-6 different pintxos) wasn't enough. They don't know how to treat customers.
