Extremely flavoursome food, really excellent vibe in the restaurant with lighting and booths at inside. We had a booth and a party of 7 people, they accommodated us well, the background music was also at a perfect level and good tunes. The food was delicious and very flavoursome, service was good and food came quite quickly. All up a good experience, would recommend. specially thanks for joban

I had the pleasure of dining at Speakeasy recently, and it was nothing short of a magical evening. The ambiance struck that perfect balance—chic, warm, and with an intimate vibe that makes you feel both transported and right at home. The menu is an absolute delight for any seafood aficionado. I enjoyed an incredible selection: Maine Lobster Tail, Poached White Prawns, Alaskan Snow Crab Claws, Oysters, and a divine Channel Island Sea Urchin. Each bite was exquisite, fresh, and thoughtfully paired with delightful accompaniments—the cocktail sauce and mignonette adding just the right note, and the SYR Lemons lending a beautiful brightness to each dish. Speakeasy offers not just a meal, but an experience, and it’s a place I can’t wait to revisit.

Nice drinks and service. Enjoyed the live music. Just don't let them seat you next to the entrance - servers are constantly going in and out all the time and it distracts from the experience.

It’s fine. We miss the Plow and Angel though, its intimacy, and its more substantive menu… The updated format didn’t really build on the things that made locals love it so much. Our visit was totally ok, but as a brand I just think OK kind of misses the mark. The Speakeasy concept comes off as maybe a little gimmicky for a property like SYR… left feeling a little unclear as to who this space was designed for.

Overpriced and blah. Server brought me the wrong drink after recommending it. $27 for a “peach and avocado salad” which was mainly lettuce and tomatoes with about 1/4 of a peach-had no flavor. Ordered the lime seared tofu with coconut rice. The tofu had good texture but it was covered in a sweet sauce with no depth. Husband ordered the ribs. He said the meat was cooked well but again covered in a sauce which didn’t permeate the ribs. For the price this place really deserves 2 stars but the busser was attentive so I will give it 3.
