I’m sitting outside on a picnic bench table enjoying the best americano coffee I have ever tried in my life! It’s absolutely tasty, and my husband just got a refreshing summer tea with an avocado bagel 🥯. A really good place to start the day out of pretension and full of good energy and nice people.
Best. Coffee. Spot. Ever!!!! Also, the absolutely best coffee that I’ve ever had! It was so good, my wife and I literally went back all three days if our stay while in Santa Barbara. I refused to try any other place because why ruin a good thing right!? You have to drink their drinks on site, which after you see this thing, you will be glad you did. I can’t wait to come back and try the best coffee if my life. Enjoy!!
The staff is super friendly here. I asked for a recommendation for coffee, and they gave me multiple options for different preferences. I had the Maui Brad coffee which was fantastic. Also had the Gyro Breakfast Burrito and the gyro bowl. Both were 10/10. The outdoor courtyard is beautiful and well kept.
Totally worth the hype!! We've never had anything like this. The way they make their mixed coffees is a whole experience. There's a smell tied to every drink such as smoked wood and rosemary or toasted blackberries... the mix of unique flavors plus the smell makes for the perfect taste combo. We highly recommend it!
Super delicious lattes and amazing almond croissant. They have house made syrups and you can definitely taste the difference and quality in each of their lattes. The atmosphere is very nice as well and is very inviting.
Great coffee. Great service. Must come and check them out
Stopped by Caje Coffee Roasters in Santa Barbara and really enjoyed it. The ambiance is chill and welcoming — great spot to relax. Had the caprese panini and rosemary Thai tea, both were solid, especially the tea — super refreshing and a nice twist. Good vibes, good food, would definitely come back.
This is our must stop coffee shop on our way to solvang after our 3+ hour drive from San Bernardino County. It’s been a tradition for our Family, the coffee baristas that create the delicious magical coffee blends gives us our wake up and enjoyment for our drive to the next 1hour or so to our destination. TY you guys for such a DELICIOUS TREAT ☕️
This is a very cute and lovely coffee shop. First of all, the coffee is really delicious. Second, I accidentally spilled it right after I walked out of the coffee shop, and they made me a new one for free. That was so sweet and thoughtful of them!!! 😍
What a hidden gem! Easy not to notice this little coffee shop when walking down the street. But be sure to stop in! Really good coffee and the bagel sandwich was even better.
The burnout was very tasty and mellow. The blackberry and candied ginger on top was a nice touch. The speciality coffees aren’t for to go. The regular lattes are a little too milk forward and not enough coffee flavor. The toast and bagel were great! It’s a little hard to find seating
This was such a nice place to sit and have an Avocado toast and a strawberry matcha. The vibe here is so relaxed. We loved how they brought the outside inside. The staff was very friendly.
Really good coffee, friendly baristas and overall great vibe. The almond croissant was one of the best I’ve had too, and made sure to stop here on the way back of our highway 1 road trip just for that. Highly recommend this place!
Service was good and the food was solid, but what really stood out were the coffees. Easily some of the most creative coffee drinks I’ve ever had! The concept — coffees inspired by cocktails — is fantastic, and the three I tried (Burnout, Sugarwood, and Yemen) were all unique, thoughtful, and delicious. Nothing felt gimmicky or overdone — just really well-executed and full of creativity. Loved it!
Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Kind of accidentally stumbled into this coffee shop on our way back to LA from Hearst Castle. We were very sleepy and hungry. The coffees we ordered were quite tasty and not overly swift. Just perfect. The panini was to die for too. We had to save this shop so we can stop by any time we are passing through the area.
Wow!!! Amazing experience and loved everything!!! Definitely a must return I want to try all their specialty coffees!! Pets allowed inside which was a major plus since it was a chilly morning. Bathroom location kinda sucks since you have to leave the establishment but it seems they have a good connection with the business next door.
Great coffee, friendly staff. Specialty drinks were great, too. Street parking isn't too difficult, and it's a great place to get some work done. The place is open until late compared to other coffee shops nearby.
For the best coffee in town that is tasty, doesn't give you acid reflux, smooth, and wakes you up come here. Great quality. I go here every time I am in town. You can sit outside in the beautiful courtyard drinking your strong, yet smooth coffee. I hope they stay here because it's a great place to wake up too.
New coffee and food trends here. Beautiful interiors with lots of greenery. My cappuccino was great. It came out quickly. It was an easy Sunday morning. I’d love to return and try more. Kudos to the team 🎉🙌
My smoking Juniper Forest was delicious, and the presentation was amazing! The avocado toast was so yummy, and the bread was perfect. My husband got the works bagel and was very pleased.
Wandering in one lazy afternoon, I had never ordered a latte at this shop only the iced coffee, and it was delightful. I switched it up and ordered a hot almond mylk latte and added one packet of raw sugar once made, which was mere minutes. I will say most lattes taste the same; but whatever coffee roast, or bean dynamic, the taste to this drink was very memorable. The foam firstly was silky in the best way almond mylk can get, I am so curious what brand they used. Its one of the best steamed foams I have had on the mainland. The flavor of the espresso and almond mylk was just so spicy, and earthy in the best way of combination. I can only describe it as a sweet, yet rich and nutty somewhat robust, almost Carmel like flavor... I am very picky about saying something is that good. When I added the raw sugar, I was like this is desert, give thanks for sweetness.
Best coffee in town with beautiful drinks. They serve real LARGES. Also have these beautiful cocktail type coffee drinks made with great care and talent. Jupiters Forest below beautifully prepared see pic. Also nicest coffee shop with wonderful couch feels like the coffee shop in Friends tv show. Very nice and professional staff. Overall best coffee shop in town. Feels like Europe or Boston. Enjoy!
The best coffee shop in Santa Barbara, and probably top 3 in California, this place is a must hit. The pictures show all the fancy drinks we tried, with prices ranging from $9-12 and seem like an Influencer's dream. They were all well balanced and deliciously unique. Fancy drinks aside, the cortado and cappuccino's I've had from them are top notch. For black coffee, I've had two bags of Ethiopian from them - both natural, one I believe was Anaerobic. And they were STELLAR. Easily a top 5 natural Ethiopian I've had, not just in California, but across the USA - sitting right up there against the best I've had (Kingdom Coffee Roaster in Folsom, CA and Koana near Hilo, HI on the Big Island). For reference, I've probably been to ~500 roasters across the USA, and rarely do I leave a review, but Caje deserves it on their beans alone. Caje is a gem and brings elevated and classic coffee drinks out quickly in a clean, chic environment, with multiple locations to serve.

Cajé serves the most exquisite coffee and signatures. Their signatures are super creative, delicious and right amount of sweetness. The cafe is cute and with a chill vibe. A must-go cafe when visiting Santa Barbara!
We loved this little coffee shop! Quiet location tucked away from the main part of SB. Great pricing on their classic drinks, however their speciality drinks range from $10-$12. We went with the Chai & Vanilla Latte which were both delicious.
First time here visiting from Nevada, and this was my first stop! I tried the Bella Rose, the Matcha Tea, and the “Works” bagel—everything was delicious! The service was great, and the food and drinks were not only tasty but also beautifully presented. However, when I walked in, there was an unpleasant smell—kind of like sweaty socks. Not sure if it was the place itself or just some of the customers at the time, but it was definitely noticeable. I also observed that the crowd here is mostly students. Despite the initial smell, I’d still come back to see if it was just a one-time thing!
Came here looking at the good reviews. Barista suggested getting the burnout. The coffee was really good. It was more like a cocktail (which justified the price). Parking can be a bit difficult. We were lucky to find a spot right in front.
It was a good place for work. The coffee was medium, not bad not great. The staff is really nice.
Was in town for a little bit so we dropped in the try these cute drinks. We ordered the Jupiter Forest, Bela Rose and the Summer Time Ice Tea for our drinks. We also ordered the Avocado Toast and Caprese Panini. Total $53.. The Jupiter Forest drink was nice strong coffee. It had a thin sliced orange that the barista torched in front of us. The Bela Rose was such a subtle but sweet matcha taste served at room temperature and light light ice. The Summer Time Ice Tea was really good and fresh! Every drink was surged with a metal straw too. The avocado toast was packed with a thick layer of avocado, cherry tomatoes sliced in half and vinaigrette that ha the right amount of citrus to bring it out of together. The Caprese Panini had lots of pesto pouring out of it as well as cheese, a thin layer of the Turkey slice and one slice of tomato cut in half. It was pretty good but the bread was hard and kind of hurt the roof of my mouth a couple times when I bit into it.. Over super cute trendy place, not crowded at all but just seemed to be entirely too expensive for what we got. I just can’t agree with the price.

The vibes were not it. Love the aesthetic vibes though. First time trying this spot and we ordered matcha latte & vanilla iced latte. Before we came in we were sweating, very visible. I’m not one to complain on orders due to being an introvert, but the lady in the front came out with the drinks and one of the drinks was a hot latte. And if you know this placed is known for their aesthetic coffees, so the latte had this cool art on top, so I felt bad even telling her that we ordered an iced latte, but she was all rude about like it was our fault. We came up so polite too, cause I worked in the food/service industry so I know the feeling. Not even like 10 seconds in, our iced latte was ready. And that thing tasted like straight creamer, so you know she just flipped it and iced it.
Drinks were AWESOME! Not only fancy looking but the actual flavor was excellent. The vibe SUCKS. Really bad, dark and no music. People use it for working (everybody with the laptops) even though the vibe is dark and not an office/working vibe at all. No bakery options at all, just some cookies and donuts. Good experience but would not come back. Worth the drive: < 20 minutes
Honestly the drinks are very weak in flavor. I am speaking of their speciality drinks. Given the price and ambiance, it was not up to standards.
