And remember it's not fast food and all cooked from scratch so you might have to wait 30 mins or so depending on order but it's always amazing. And the made from scratch Mama's cake Wow no words

The food is great. Awesome Mom and Pop joint, locally owned and run. The serving sizes are huge, the staff is great, and the cleanest bathroom I have ever been in! The brisket is the bomb! Don't forget to try the homemade desserts. Love this place.

This is a great little place to eat that is out of the way. A great little kept secret! Try the fried pickles, they are heavenly! I picked here to go for my birthday and they didn't disappoint either! The rest of the food was delicious. My husband got a hamburger steak and he was very happy with his choice. Swing by today and pick up something for yourself!!

Clean and nicely decorated. Food was good and service was good but the prices were a little high because you can’t just choose a meat and 2 sides-it’s all priced individually and the sides are pretty small. I highly recommend the grilled pork chop! It is NOT small and is delicious.

I've eaten here a few times with family and I enjoy this restaurant. I had catfish, macaroni and cole slaw and the filets are pretty big. The food and service was great.

Nice home cooking, but not great. Food was so-so. Salad bar was good. I had a BBQ stuffed potato. If you like big portions, this your place. It was huge, but a little like they just piled stuff on, it was a bit of a train wreck. Others had breaded fish. Some loved it, others thought the breading was too heavy. Service was ok. Very kind and courteous, but not super attentive.

The building is very nice and clean, a quaint porch on the front with a very impressive entrance. There is ample seating, very clean inside with pleasant and helpful staff. The BBQ meat had a good texture but not a lot of taste. The sauce was brought out in a cold, not room temperature squeeze bottle, it was tangy but I didn’t use much because I like my food hot. The Mac and cheese was very thin and didn’t have much cheese taste. The baked beans were good and the best part of my meal. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly but the gravy wasn’t very flavorful and very thick, like it had been sitting awhile. Would recommend the okra and turnip greens. They do have an extensive menu and we will be eating here again. ***I’ve heard the steaks are excellent but expensive, that will be my next update.

Im sorry. I don't think this is going to be an accurate review. You see i am from NJ. I have only been living in the south for a year and don't have much experiance with the southern style of eating nor cooking food. I can honestly say foods that I loved from nj, have not tasted the same here. So with that being said please do not take this review the wrong way.

My wife and I tried this place, never go back. We placed our order, and while we waited two not one but two roaches was climbing down the wall beside us. My wife pointed them out to the staff. A guy came over with napkin and smashed them. Smeared roach guts on the wall. Couldn't tell you about the food cause we got up and left. Haven't been back!
