Needed to grab some lunch, and we don't really visit Santa Ana often. We were passing through, and the great reviews brought us here. It was delicious! We got a range of plates (The Works is enough for two smaller meals), the salmon kebab was flaky and tender, and the salads were fresh. I loved the garlic dressing on the salad. The green sauce is a nice add on, it wasn’t as spicy as I was hoping. Everything was seasoned very well with lots of deep, warm spices. The stuffed grape leaves were great. The steak kebab was a bit dry, but the flavor was good. The gentleman taking orders was helpful and seemed happy to help.

I thought it was supper good. First time I went was yesterday, and I love it. I spent 12 on the chicken shawrma wrap and so worth it. It filled me up, and I will definitely come again. So sad it's not open on weekends 😢 but I will come again to try more food. Also love the interior!

This place is relatively new, but it's really good and easy to grab a quick lunch 👍 The gyro is my favorite, its quick and delicious. You'll definitely want to go for the diced potatoes side dish. I don't know what sauce they toss those in, but it's amazing!

I really loved the hummus, fresh salad, and kabab mix. One standout element was the fried potatoes with green sauce. The potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the green sauce added a unique and zesty kick that elevated the dish to a whole new level. The diverse array of dishes on display left me marveling at the difficult decision ahead. Fortunately, Donny, the friendly gentleman at the front, offered invaluable recommendations that added to the anticipation of the meal. As we settled into our seats, Donny personally delivered our delectable dishes and graciously inquired if we required anything else. Each bite was an indulgence for the senses, with the rich and flavorful green sauce enhancing the succulent meat, and the soft, aromatic rice complementing every mouthful. It was an experience that left me utterly speechless. The Green Olive is truly a remarkable dining destination that delivers exceptional cuisine and unparalleled hospitality.

Food plate was hefty and the meat was great- enough to share a plate between 2 people. Sauces were wonderful to dip and try. Atmosphere was relaxed and service friendly.

I had the Fattouche salad (cucumbers, radishes, tomatoes, green/red/yellow bell peppers, & lettuce)with Gyro meat. The salad was well seasoned with spices and the meat was very good. Limited indoor/outdoor seating area and limited street parking.

Zero Stars. Threw out my plate. This is not Mediterranean Food, it’s garbage. OC is well known for Mediterranean Food, but this place is a Joke. The meat is so dry. It felt like your chewing rubber. DO NOT EAT HERE, I MEAN IT'S A BIG WASTE OF MONEY. Please drive a few minutes down to Chicken Maison or The Halal Guys. But if you want the best, I mean the best Mediterranean Food in OC, you gotta go to Brookhurst. Try Shawarma Loca or Zait & Zaatar, and if you stay up late, Sahara Falafel stays opens til 2 am. Don’t waste your money here, please.

I went around 1130-1230 and google said open and the door was open but they Said they were closed. I’ve been to other green olives before in different cities and I don’t know that I would return to this one.
