With a choice of two roasts and a relaxing, ambient atmosphere; Santa Barbara Roasting Company not only brews its own coffee, it produces coffee with a great aroma which is packed full of flavour. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and go out of their way to create a warm experience.

It was not very busy when we got in. I ordered on the digital kiosk and selected lavender syrup. Got a hot latte and the wife got an iced latte. Both came out promptly. The restrooms were also clean. Just note that the code you get on your receipt is a one-time use code

Traveling all over LA we were hanging out for a decent coffee. So after reading the reviews on this place thought it was worth checking it out... small place with quite a good vibe and you could get the feel that lots of locals come here to work on their laptops. Coffee was extremely good as we only drink espresso shots to get the true taste of the coffee. So one of the best places we enjoyed a great coffee whilst in LA.

Good coffee store. I like the breakfast menu as well. I tired Avocado toast was great along with chai latter with blend of spice and sweet. Outside sit out on the green is cool under the tree shades. Place looks kind off full from far. But it is classy.

Cool hipster coffee place in good location. Good seating inside and a few outdoor tables with good views. Interesting large grinder inside. Good coffee selection including optional almond and oat milk for your coffee. Recommended.

There coffee is good but I’ve been frequenting this shop for two years. Their lids are terrible. It always spills or drips out the side.

They deprioritize online orders! I went in after my pickup time and they hadn't started working on my order. The staff was very clear with me - "we prioritize anyone who comes to the store and orders over online deliveries". Doesn't matter if you preorder, if the store is busy and you ordered online you remain at the end of the line until you show up. Don't come here if you want to order online and pick up.

I was traveling out of SBA and Santa Barbara Roasting Company accused me of having a fake $20 bill. This is a $20 I received from my bank so I took it back to my bank and they confirmed it was real. The employees did not use a pen to confirm because "they couldn't find it".

$8.50 for a breakfast bagel that was overcooked in the microwave. The bagel cooled to a rock hard block. Coffee in a mug is on my good for refills for one hour, seriously.... you ate a coffee shop. You are not a small business, and have been open for 25 years. Surely free refills for more than an hour are merited. Both of the breakfast sandwiches were overcooked in the microwave. Don't make your poor quality controls documented here an unreasonable review. Ordered a SMALL cappuccino & a SMALL americano but tried to charge medium for both. Eve didn't check what kind of milk I wanted. Not professional at all. Coffee didn't taste as good as expected either.
