Garlic Fries

Anyone who knows me, knows I will not eat fries if they're 3 seconds from the fryer. I shocked everyone when I ate ALL the fries AND searched for bag fries well after the 3 second rule. The seasonings on them is so good. As I have progressed through life, my stomach doesn't like grease but I still always get the swiss mushroom burger. That has got to be the greasiest burger, I pay for it later yet, I still get it. The Cesar salad is what I get to go with it all. I tried the lemonade and it was pretty good. I'm not brave enough yet, to try the Mac n cheese. I'm not a fan of the grilled cheese croutons though. The service is immediate and GREAT! I placed my order and immediately my buzzer went off. I waited around because that couldn't have been me. How did they know? Did they see me coming? My bag sat for a few minutes only because I didn't realize they had completed the order THAT FAST! Every time I go there, the same guy is in the front, no matter the time. He is awesome EVERY TIME even when they're hella busy and he's the only one up front. I don't download restaurant apps, but this one I did. Oh and I don't even live close to a Melt

My boyfriend and I came here today and this is one of his favorite places to go and basically his comfort spot, so I was excited to see why he loves it so much. The food is great, but what really stood out was the amazing service. Def should be your go to spot when you’re chatting with your friends while enjoying good food! Clark, the cashier, was so kind and attentive. He checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed. It felt like he genuinely cared about our experience, which made our visit even more special. 10/10! He also surprised us with a sample of their chocolate chip cookies and wow, they were perfecttttt! The flavor wasn’t too sweet, and the texture was spot on: doughy in the middle and perfectly crunchy on the outside. It paired perfectly with our meal (crispy chicken sandwich, double mushroom burger, and single mushroom burger). Burgers: 10/10 - meat was juicy and tender - bun was soft + crispy onions were the perfect addition to the burgers * highly recommend getting the sweet potato fries because they were so crispy and not too sweet either! (Hits the spot EVERY TIME!!) The overall atmosphere is super calm and welcoming, making it a great spot to just relax and enjoy some good comfort food. Now I see why my boyfriend always wants to come here and I’ll definitely be coming back too! Thank you the melt team especially Clark!!

The place is amazing and lit. The music choice was great. The classic chicken burger and spicy chicken burger was so so yumm. The shake was like melted ice cream made so fresh and thick. The melt in the mouth choco chip cookies were just wow. Clark was so sweet and polite. The staff is amazing and the overall experience was very good for us.

Really great place to eat especially late in the night. This Melt is always clean and I have never seen it unkept. My favorite server is personally Ash, he is always welcoming and greets customers as they come in no matter the hour. Definitely one of my favorite burger places!

If you come here, ask for Devon! So friendly, fast, and high-energy. He turned a quick dinner into a great part of my day with his positive attitude and cheerful service.

One of my husband and I’s favourites for late night comfort food - their OG melt burger is my husband’s go-to and I can’t get over their mushroom grilled cheese. On this visit, I had to ask for a very unique customization due to a dietary need and the staff were so friendly and helpful :) Inside is clean, with a great mixture of indoor and outdoor seating. I have never had an issue with any melt location, but I will say I prefer the Santa Clara location for its vibe (far less hectic than the Palo Alto location) friendly staff and wider seating variety.

I am in town visiting family and my sister and I stopped for here lunch. I am so happy we did. The food was excellent the Parm garlic fries were perfection. The owner(I think) was so nice and made us feel like we were VIP's. He came by and brought us the most scrumptious chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. I highly recommend. We are both going back to the house to take a food coma nap now.

When my family first walked into The Melt, we were greeted warmly and asked about our party size. I mentioned we had 10 people, and Devon immediately helped us push tables together so we could all sit comfortably. While we waited for the rest of our group to arrive, we never felt rushed to order. A plus so far. Once we were ready, everyone at the counter was incredibly friendly, took their time with us, and even offered great recommendations. The food was excellent, and Devon checked on us a few times to make sure everything was going well. We also found out he is a 49ers fan, which made us like him even more! Our family are die hard fans. Bang bang! I would definitely come back again. Great service, great food, what more could you ask for?

I ate here last night and it was delicious! The service was great and the people were friendly! We sat and ate at their big table, and it's nice to have the open-air feeling while eating inside. We will be coming back again! I ate the Mac Daddy, and it was better than I imagined! Their milkshakes are thick and delicious! Their regular French fries are very fresh and tasty!

The Melt absolutely lives up to its name and then some! This is our third time here in the last 4 weeks! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling forced. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of, checked in at all the right moments, and made great recommendations. The food is always fire — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was comforting yet elevated, the kind of meal you keep thinking about long after you leave. Portions were generous and perfectly balanced, and everything came out hot and beautifully presented. The atmosphere really ties it all together. Melt has a relaxed, inviting vibe that’s perfect whether you’re there for a casual meal, a date night, or a get-together with friends. It’s cozy, stylish, and just feels good to be there. The Melt is a standout and has definitely earned a loyal customer. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place! We ordered the spicy chicken, the spicy misson burguer, and the crispy classic. The food tastes amazing, all ingredients are fresh and the waiting time was a breeze. The personel is super friendly and kind and they seem committed to make your experience a one in a kind. It is within the reasonable budget for a dine out. Again, one of the best places to eat within the area.

It’s rare to find both outstanding food and exceptional service in one place, but The Melt nailed it. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!

This is another location which not only it recently opened here before the one in Palo Alto and Sunnyvale, but also it’s now the closest location from where I live. It’s in Rivermark Plaza at Santa Clara and looks better than the one in Sunnyvale. It looks really nice inside. It’s as if I walked inside a casino. Ordering there in-person is almost impossible because staff is very busy. Good thing that they kiosks allowing them to save time. I don’t mind using them tbh. Before I had one of their regular sandwich melts which I believe comes with mac and cheese. I wanted to try one of their burgers and it’s gotta be one of the best burgers out there. Its very juicy and patty-to-bun ratio is at the right spot! I also wanted to try one of their snickerdoodle milkshakes and really tastes sweet and delicious. Sometimes I gotta twirl it to get lessen the viscosity of the drink. The Parmesan fries are really good though. I saw a few pieces of garlic and ate them anyways. This is one of the best sandwich spots in the Bay Area and I’m looking forward to trying more stuff!

When I had trouble ordering from the kiosk, Liz was very patient and helped me out with my customization. We ordered the Patty Melt, Swiss and Shroom Meltburger and they were both delicious. The garlic fries is the bomb! The regular fries are good and crispy too. The tomato soup is good but a bit too sour to my taste. They have limited selection on their milkshakes and they're good and thick. Overall their food is great. The place is clean overall and they close late. It's great for late night dining when everywhere else is closed. It also has a nice open indoor-outdoor dining environment. There is a garage door that opens up to the outside during a nice day or closes up when it's cold and windy. I'd say they need to improve the software in the kiosk to let us customize certain menu items such as Patty Melt. It's very strange they let you customize burgers but not Patty Melts.

Absolutely love going to The Melt!! My daughter and I love to share the fries and the Mac Daddy. The sandwich is a grilled cheese with Mac n cheese and bacon. It’s so filling and so good! The soda is real sugar cane soda so it’s so good too! Anytime we are in town we come here. We even get the Triple Cheese Mac to take home. It’s a tray of Mac n Cheese with breadcrumbs for the top. The staff is always so friendly and the manager is just as nice!

One of the best burgers I have ever had. The garlic fries were amazing. I went two days in a row. The first day I was very hungry and it tasted amazing. We perused the options at the kiosk, and made our selections. Before we sat down, Davon already helped us out with grabbing some napkins and directing us where to get our utensils and drinks from. We ended up ordering three different sandwiches, two different types of fries, and soup. My wife got the regular cheeseburger melt, my sister got the spicy chicken sandwich, my mom got the tomato soup with the side of fries, and I got the bacon burger. We also got the Parmesan garlic fries, and while it may seem silly, the quality of the sodas was really nice. All of the food came out pretty quickly, and was lovely. I will say the jalapeño pickle mix is actually quite spicy, so that with the spicy melt sauce did make mine pretty hot. Davon walked around with some samples of fresh chocolate chip cookies which wraps were delicious, and was super friendly and continued to check in on us throughout the night. I'm going to be honest, the cheeseburger was fine, with the service is what made the experience top notch. Will we be back? Absolutely!

Great service and food. I absolutely loved the ambiance. Luis was the greatest manager and was very accommodating. The sweet potato fries were crispy and really sweet. The sourdough in the Mac Daddy’s was crispy and the inside was absolutely deliciously. Definitely reccomend.

Being that this was our first visit, we asked the friendly staff what they were known for. She said the grilled cheese sandwich. It was nothing out of the ordinary. They used meltable cheeses, but lacked flavor. Anybody can put cheeses between 2 slices of buttered sliced bread and put them on the griddle. Meltburger, however, was good. The sauce had some kick, which really added to the flavor. The sweet potato fries were nicely fried and salted. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was clean and spacious. We might revisit sometime next year and try something different on the menu.

Only draw back was the bun fell apart amd made it hard to eat the burger after the first few bites. **Edited accidentally gave 1 star instead of a strong 4, I really liked this place****

It’s a nice place to grab some food and craft soda. Good location, friendly staffs, and pretty intense flavor if you order the spicy burger. I like it. You may also try it once. Recommend.

Food: For the price and being fast food, the food here is very impressive. Service: The employees here actually cared about my order, spoke politely, and offered to make adjustments to my dish just how I wanted it. Atmosphere: Out of all three times I've stopped by, the tables weren't clean. Other than that, there's a lot of space, and all the essentials were met.

Tried their beef melt burger — it was okay, not very juicy, but overall pretty decent. Also had the Italian melt grilled sandwich. It was very basic: just cheese, mushrooms, and nicely toasted bread. Tasted good, no doubt, but for the price it felt a bit underwhelming.
