AMAZING food! Definitely try the avocado smoothie! I’ve been going here for so long because the food is so great!
Best pho I’ve had. The noodles are fully cooked and have absorbed the essence of the broth. Price is also great.
This was some of the best vegan pho I’ve had in a while. I used to live in Massachusetts and there was a pho restaurant we went to all the time. It was great and the broth was tasty. When I’ve tried other spots, the broth was nasty. So, the place was a pleasant surprise! The broth was amazing! There was a ton veggies and a variety at that! It came with tofu. It was awesome and I would definitely go back again!
Our new favorite spot for hot bowl of Pho. . Their soup is really flavorful with thick beef stock, onions, cinnamon and other spices. MSG detector did not go off. Very well balanced soup which is always served hot. GoGo Combo is the go to item here. Their salad is also great with a good balance of vegetable and mango. Worth the trip during those cold winter days!
This is the best Pho. I've been to probably 3 dozen different Pho places in multiple states and even east San Jose. Gogo Pho is still in the #1 spot. I really don't understand the lower rating reviews .. the food is so good and fresh.
Their rice plate special is a good value!!! $10.99 for a rice plate with a choice of meats, an egg roll and a drink. Delicious too!!! This is my second time here. My first time I stumbled upon this place while headed to Santana Row. I will definitely eat here if I am in the area.
This place offers friendly, down-to-earth service and a clean, welcoming environment. The pho is hearty without feeling heavy, and we especially love their vermicelli salad with shredded pear, mango, and cucumber — it's refreshing, flavorful, and unlike anything we've had elsewhere. I haven’t found a tastier vermicelli salad anywhere!
The service was amazing and the quality of the ingredients was fresh. The sauces weren't even opened yet! I had the mango salad with grilled prawns and it was just so great. I'm not one to pay for something I think I can make at home but this salad is definitely worth paying for every time. It tastes like home cooking but also unique in its own way.
I visited Gogo Pho two days ago for lunch and ordered the chicken pho. It was so good that I'm still thinking about it and had to leave this review. I am convinced that they have a garden or something in the back because every ingredient tastes so fresh! Even the chicken tastes fresh. Not like the Restaurant Depot, steroid pumped chicken either. Definitely found a new lunch spot! No wonder their parking lot is always full.
One of the best Pho in West San Jose, especially their Fillet Mignon pho very tender and juicy Restaurant itself has been improving as well.
Great food. Great portions. Service was ok, we came by around 2pm on a Wednesday and eventually the background music stopped playing. Parking was pretty bad as it's a small parking lot. Might be able to find parking down the street. We will return as we loved the mango salad with lemon grass chicken 🐔
I had been curious about this place for a while, and since a friend also recommended it, we decided to visit. We went on a Monday evening around 7 pm, and it wasn’t too crowded, so we were seated right away. There were four of us (two adults and two kids). We ordered two bowls of pho, spring rolls, and two kinds of juice. The kids especially loved the fresh orange juice, and they also really enjoyed the restaurant’s No.1 pho with beef! As for me, I tried a dish that wasn’t pho (I forgot the name), but it was very tasty — full of vegetables and really healthy. For the spring rolls, we ordered the ones with shrimp and mango. They had a refreshing flavor, and the cilantro added a really nice touch. We all had a great time, and I definitely want to come back again!
The place looks small but don't judge by its appearance. The food is just amazing. High quality, fresh and flavourful. The salad, Chicken and spring rolls were perfect. It felt light yet filling.
Gogo Pho is a wonderful restaurant! My boyfriend and I were hanging out over at Illusive Games, when we got hungry and decided we needed a healthy, filling meal. First, we ordered an appetizer of pork egg rolls that came with fresh mint, lettuce and delicious dipping sauce. They were crunchy, savory and delicious. For our main, my boyfriend got the seafood pho special and I got the beef pho special. The broth was light and full of rich flavor. The toppings provided were bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime halves, peppers and sauce packets. I would say the pho is so flavorful and has some subtle notes within the flavor that a sauce packet would hide the delicious combination of flavor. Both of us ended getting a lime refreshment which was club soda mixed with lime juice. Overall the service we experienced was kind, prompt and professional. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or just a good lunch out with friends. We will go again!
A great suggestion from a friend. We ordered pho and a bun. The pho had an authentic flavor and the bun had warm noodles. The attention to detail in food is commendable. Even the lettuce was not iceburg so you weren't splashed each time you had a bite. The pho broth had a good flavor, like it was cooking all morning. Next time I may try bun bo Hue.
if you like super fresh food at a reasonable price, this place is a must try. tucked in a small strip mall off Stevens Creek (a hole in the wall type place), I would have never thought to stop and check it out. however my friend kept telling me about how great the food was so I finally tried it myself and it didn't disappoint. the chicken salad dish was the best! and the guys who work there are friendly, fast and courteous. I will be heading back regularly for sure.
Very healthy and delicious. We ordered#20, #7, #10, #11 and 2 crispy rolls (come with lettuce wrap and mint leaves). All are fresh and yummy. Everyone bottoms up the dishes. The outside seems old style store but the interior is neat, well decorating and comfortable. We will try again.
Great broth, vermicelli weren't stiff and stuck together. All veggies in and added to the pho tasted fresh and crunchy. Young coconut (served in a cup with spoon and straw) tasted very fresh, though it was on the sweeter side. I went in the morning and the server was very considerate, quick service.
I ordered meatball pho. It was great. I really liked how the warmth of broth add flavour, and softness to the meatballs. They did a great job keeping the broth to a simmer.
5 stars for food, 4 stars for no air conditioning casualness. Refreshing twist with apples and mangoes in the spring roll and vermicelli bowl without peanuts. Fish sauce is plain, maybe they could float some flower cutouts of cucumber or carrot slices just to make it pretty to look at? However, extra toppings and ingredients in their dishes is what makes this place stand out. Fried egg rolls are hot and compact. Pho broth is very dark rich and aromatic. Clean and very small restaurant. No bubble drinks, but interesting drink options, including passion fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. Good place for take out. Plain signage and small parking lot makes this easy to miss, so turn a blind eye to this one.

This is a quaint little pho restaurant that is downright delicious. Had a quick bite of pho with the meatballs in it. The broth is rich and delicious and the additional veggies were very fresh.
The best tasting pho I've had! Maybe because of my hangover today but still, it was delicious and it was served perfectly with lime on the side the way I like it

So glad I found this place, it was solid from the spring rolls to the mango smoothie. The pho was great, the large was a little light on the meat compared to other places but the meat was tender and had some solid flavor to eat. I would 100% go back
Decent pho place! Came with a friend as I had a craving for vermicelli, and this place definitely hit the spot. The pork was cooked well and the food was very filling. The service is fast and the store is located in such an unassuming place, but definitely a good place for a Vietnamese craving.
Pho is okay. The broth is a bit more oily, the meat was mediocre, and the noodles were stuck together. The broth was still tasty though. Worth it if you live in the area and don't want to travel further for pho. The only person working the front at the time was very friendly.
This is a nice cozy place. You could walk in here if you've come to one of the auto service centers on Steven Creeks and needed to have a quick lunch while waiting for your car to get serviced - which is what I did. The food here is nice, wholesome and healthy. I had the veggie option in their pho menu and really liked it. The meal was fresh and filling.
Okay, if you're a salad (plus protein) fan, you'll be very happy with this place. Not only was the salad HUGE, a looker, and very tasty. The option to add the protein of your choice is great. Don't let the word mango fool you, it's not a fruit salad. Think Thai papaya salad. Would totally recommend!
Very delicious food at great prices. Customer service is good. I would recommend.
Overall this place is 4.5 stars because of the food value for money. Yes there are typos across the promotional materials — printed menu and TV screen and the interior decor is perplexing. Service here appears to be understaffed yet capable of juggling phone/take-out order and in-person table management. The food was very good. I loved the sliver cut apples and mangoes in the bun bowl. The produce was so fresh. Surprised to see Bo hue soup offered here. I would definitely come here again. I just ordered takeout and it’s great quality.
Huge portions and fresh food. We have only gotten takeout but everything I've tried has been delicious. Always check you're order before you leave because there is typically something switched even though they read your order back. Regardless the prices are comparable and we eat it with plenty for leftovers.
Great little pho spot in Santa Clara. Looks kinda ghetto from the outside because the signs are old and peeling, but the inside is nice and clean with stylish decorations and art. I got the #13 (combo beef ball, rare beef, flank steak pho) and the broth was tasty and the meat was tender. It needed a little bit of Sriracha and hoisin to get it just right, but that's the case for a lot of places. I would definitely go back and try their bun thit nuong next time.

I've been here twice. Both times I had the #10 Pho with filet mignon. The meat is good quality. The flavor of the broth is good. It's also a positive sign to seen droplets of oil in the broth. The bean sprouts were clean and the basil fresh. It's good enough for me to come back.

Haven't been for a long time. Selection of Pho is very limited and what's there only has 1 or 2 different meats. Prices are fairly high (I know rent is high) with minimum $9.50. We went for the vermicelli instead. Good size portions with plenty of meat and veggies. Similar prices as pho 🍜
Meat was charred black. Burnt too much. Complaining give me sisors and extra meat. Thinking cook did not control flare-up. After trimming I did finish my meal. Would I go here again? I would try again. If that happens again, than nope. No 3rd chance.
Portions are large and food comes out fast. The flavor of pho was lacking. My bowl had mostly a strong star anise taste, hardly any beef. Our noodle dish was good but ordinary. Everything was a little overpriced compared to other restaurants. Just don't order sides or else it will add up.
The first thing that comes to mind, "A safe bet for those that haven't had Pho". For some reason the pho broth lacked the many spices compared to many places in East San Jose. Other than, that, I think this place is great. We also tried the salad and coffee. I liked the "set" meals they have, and portion size.
So the pho itself was ok. It was authentic but less taste than other pho spots I have been to. The bowl seemed smaller than others but more pricey. They limit everything. You get packets of not real siracha they have one real siracha bottle for the entire restaurant to use. And you get one napkin. If you ask for more they have to go to the back to get more for you. Edit. They’re so cheap they won’t even let you split the check. I would not come back.
I came in for lunch time, but it was completely empty. I like that the place was very clean. I got an eggroll ($7.50), and a small combo pho ($16). The eggroll came in 4 medium rolls, it was not bad. I wrapped it in lettuce with some spearmint, and dipped it in their boring fish sauce. It was refreshing to eat eggroll this way. The small combo pho ($16) was small for real, but that's leave me room to enjoy the eggroll. They served me small hoisin, and siracha packets, it was very annoying to open with my hands, and they wasn't very generous with the amount either. I had to used a scissor to opened the sauce packets. The pho broth was okay, the quality of the meat was mediocred. Flavor, and serving style of the food here is a bit on the unauthentic side. Not for picky Vietnamese people for sure.
Food was pretty good, but the service needs improvement. I ordered takeout for 2 items including a mango salad with pork but I got the mango pork vermicelli. The total was $32.40 with taxes and the guy asked me if I could pay cash so I gave him a $50 bill. He gave me $17 back without the loose change. Perhaps he assumed I would have put those coins in the tips jar (yes I would have) with a couple more dollars but I don't think he should have assumed that to begin with. Negative customer experience for sure.

They use plastic utensils, paper plates along with sauce packets. They seem clean but the fact that they dont even offer water takes away the restaurant experience :/ (you gotta buy a bottle of water) Also, the combo pho doesn’t come with tendons which is a big disappointment. Mango spring roll seemed fresh but no flavors. The same thing goes with the combo pho. It seemed fresh but no flavor in it. I was excited to try out based on the good reviews but disappointed :/ nothing special about this restaurant. Wont be coming back.
When I ordering I asked if I can order pho but replace noodles with steamed rice. The store say ok. It did come with soup and steamed rice without noodles. While I checked out they charged me extra money for the steamed rice without noticing me.
My husband and I had dinner tonight at GOGO Pho and it was not even close to the excellent food we had in late December. We both commented that they must have lost their primary chef or had a change of ownership bcuz the food was much smaller portions and the taste was simply lacking! It was a complete disappointment for both of us! No other customers were there when we arrived and as we were finishing up one guy sat down. Now we know why! Not sure we will return.
