A place you have to get to early to try traditional barbacoa from the Oaxaca Valley. An unpretentious place, but with one of the most exquisite flavors.

It's one of those old-fashioned diners. The lamb barbacoa (red) is very good; it's prepared right there. If you arrive early, you can watch it come out of the oven. They offer takeout and dine-in options. As I mentioned, the place is old-fashioned; on Sundays, there's usually live norteño music (local trios). There's no parking.
