Food good but but they need better customers services

Our first visit to this charming restaurant was a delightful surprise. Brought here by our contractor for Sunday lunch, we discovered a vibrant array of authentic Mexican dishes that truly satisfied our cravings. There's a saying that if an Asian restaurant is packed with Asian patrons, the food must be good—and the same rings true here, with lively Hispanic families filling the place, and the delicious food certainly living up to the hype. I usually hold off on five-star ratings until I've visited a place a few times, but I can confidently say this spot is worthy of a return trip. My only hope is that future visits will come with the same friendly service, even if I don't speak Spanish.

Very good. The fresh tortillas, the huge portions. I wanted to get the mochajete but way to much food for 1 person. I see the food trucks all over town. I went to restaurant on main street. A must see.

This was my first time going to the restaurant. The food was good . The service was aweful . My friend and I were standing for about 5 mins waiting for a waitress to seat us . They didn’t even acknowledge us . My friend asked if we can sit at a spot . They finally sat us down. When it was time to pay we were waiting for a long time for the check . We requested check with waitress literally took her 15 mins to give us the check . We had to ask again .Until finally she did . I was upset because waitress wasn’t doing anything she was just talking with co workers . All waitresses need training on how to be a better at hostess. They are not attentive . It was busy but there was 3 waitresses which that’s more than enough .

My husband and I Came to this restaurant for the first time and my husband got a molcajete and I got a plate of cielo,mar y tierra the food did not have flavor at all nothing compared to mariscos ensenada . my daughter had a taco de cabeza the meat was red and raw we asked the server if they would take it back and change the taco they said no that the meat was supposably like that but the meat was not even cooked right we only had like a bite or two of our food and just took off never again worst restaurant I have ever been to in Santa Maria.

I was debating on whether or not I wanted to leave a review or not. Don’t get me wrong the food is delicious! With homemade tortillas, everything is very flavorful! But on the other hand when it comes down to customer service it’s horrible! I went back yesterday for the second time after coming for the first time about a month or so ago because I had a very pleasant first time experience. I had a young lady who spoke English help me and be very attentive, recommended a molcajete and is what I tried, very delicious! I decided to go back yesterday and I was treated horrible ! As soon as I walked in the door the waitress gave me a nasty look, like annoyed to see me walk in. Took them about 10 minutes to come and even acknowledge me. Then when I spoke English to greet the waitress ( don’t know the name of the lady because she did not even introduce herself to me she was maybe mid 40’s) she rudely responded with “I don’t speak English”, I apologized and asked if the waitress who had help me the previous time who spoke English was available, I was told no one who worked there spoke English so she was not sure who I was talking about. I told her okay thank you so much and decided to leave without ordering. A place with customer service like that, even with good food will make you not want to be back. I felt a little humiliated. But I would like to give the cooks and waitress who helped me my first and only time going (if she still works there, she spoke English) a BIG SHOUT out! My first time was amazing thanks to you guys and the delicious food! Would have wished the same for yesterday! God bless!
