This cafe is simply amazing! There are so many tasty and healthy options. My favorite was the matcha latte with oat milk—it was incredibly delicious! The almond and butter croissants were also very nice. I highly recommend this place for a truly delightful experience. ❤️

I had brunch at Espresso Cielo and it was an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly, and the place has a cozy, welcoming vibe. The coffee was delicious — we enjoyed cappuccinos with oat milk alongside fresh orange juice. We ordered the American breakfast, the breakfast burrito, and the cheesy nachos, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend for a relaxed brunch with great service and atmosphere.

This place is cute, easy, and has great coffee. We were in town for a few days and came back here for coffee every day. Their pastries and breakfast burritos were great too. They also have one of those zuMex orange juice machines and their orange juice was so good.

Super cute local coffee shop with great coffee, pastries and a great breakfast menu. I had the chorizo breakfast tacos and they were amazing! Definitely could have shared them with someone. Victor was working the day I went and he delivered the tacos to my table. He was so friendly and helpful! You order at the counter and then the food is delivered to your table.

The lattes here taste as good as they look, and the location is comfortable and convenient. The breakfast burritos are great and big enough to share for a lighter breakfast. Not sure if the donuts are made in-house, but also tried them on a different day, and they have a great soft chewy texture.

Espresso Cielo was the perfect little coffee stop after our beach day, and I’m already thinking about when we can go back. We walked over from the pier and loved the cozy, relaxed vibe the moment we walked in. It feels like a true neighborhood spot – warm, inviting, and not overly “chain” or corporate. I ordered a matcha latte and it was so good – smooth, not too sweet, and you could actually taste the matcha instead of it being buried in sugar or milk. It was one of those drinks you slow down to enjoy instead of just chugging on the go. We also got a cortado and loved it so much that after we finished, he immediately wanted to go back for round two and ordered a cappuccino. That alone says a lot. The espresso tasted rich and balanced, not bitter or burnt, and the milk was textured really well. The staff was kind and efficient, and even though they were busy, the vibe stayed calm and comfortable. It’s the kind of place you could grab a quick drink or sit for a while and people-watch. Overall, Espresso Cielo is exactly what you want in a local coffee shop: great drinks, warm atmosphere, and the kind of quality that makes you wish it was in your own neighborhood.

What a great place to enjoy the morning. The coffee's we had (Spanish latte and Vanilla latte) were so flavorful and smooth, which complimented the tasty egg croissiant with light salad. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to visit Santa Monica again and enjoy this hidden jem !!

I had the cardamom latte in the morning & came back for a strawberry matcha later in the day and they were both top tier. The matcha was the best I've had in awhile!! 🍓🍵 food was okay, donut was bomb, service is standard. Definitely recommend!

During our vacation, we visited Coffee Cielo three times and had a great experience every time! For our first two visits, we enjoyed coffee and breakfast. On our third visit, we simply relaxed by the pool with their delicious iced coffee. I highly recommend this place to both locals and visitors who love coffee. It's a fun and inviting spot to hang out and enjoy a great cup of coffee.

Popular coffee place on the weekend. Much quieter on weekdays. The barista on the weekend made me a great matcha. The one who made me one today Monday wasn’t as good. There was matcha powder at the bottom. Apparently he didn’t whisk the matcha powder properly… We had almond croissant on both visits. A bit too sweet but not bad.

The lady that took our order explained the difference between different coffee options. We only had coffee on our visit, no food. I had a vanilla latte that was average. My fiance had a cortado that he said was also average. It wasn’t anything to write home about and we’d likely find different local spot to try the next time we’re in town. The lady that gave us our coffees had a snarky remark when I asked for a lid. As someone who has never been there, I wasn’t aware they didn’t put lids on their drinks and there was a self serve station to add cream, sugar, and lids.
