Very tasty food. Love the seasoned potatoes in their breakfast burrito. Tortilla chips made onsite. Very nice selection of salsas and accompaniments. Good selection of menu items for vegetarians.

This taqueria delivers in food quality. I ordered a Carnitas chimichanga and it was friggin awesome!!! Not very fatty in their Carnitas and portions were large enough where I shared with my daughter and was still full. Definitely will be returning to this establishment. The restaurant itself is rather small so I imagine it fills up quickly during busy hours.

I'm really angry at myself for not eating here sooner. We've lived a couple miles away for 16 years, missing out on this wonderful place. This is really a 5-star, full-service Mexican restaurant cleverly hidden in a modest taqueria in an old Taco Bell building. Of course the tacos are amazing. But also burritos, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, flautas etc. And nice Mexican dinners, including a lot of wonderful seafood dishes. The Camarones a la Diabla is my absolute favorite, with an exquisite smoky red chile sauce. Everything is beautifully presented, even in takeout containers! There are always fresh tortilla chips, and an extensive salsa bar. And OMG the flan - silky with a lovely soft vanilla flavor. Churros too! Don't waste 16 years like I did. Eat there now!

Great food and friendly service. We love the Asada tacos with fresh cheese and you can't beat the beat the breakfast burritos!

Amazing steak tacos. Went in and ordered 8 tacos and they were perfect. The tortillas fresh, the steak cooked perfectly the addition of cilantro onion and cheese. I look forward to trying more items on the menu.

Great food and customer service. My wife asked for no beans and they got it right. I got the jumbo shredded chicken burrito. I would have snapped a pic but I was too hungry. Will definitely be back!

El Faro in SF v El Faro in Concord) knows the better version of burrito/taco/quality etc is here (Concord, P Hill, W C, Pitt). The staff is friendly and there is generally a good place to sit and watch futball on the TV. This is good food at a good price without all the displays!

Picked up an online order. The girl working was really kind. I went to sign for my meal on the pen wasn’t working and she handed me another piece of paper to put under it and it worked perfectly. The place is really small but the smells coming for the kitchen made me feel like I came to the right place. I ordered a Chimichanga with NO meat just beans, rice and cheese. It came with salsa and I ordered extra sour cream. It was the best one I have had in a long time. The place I went to before changed the ingredients in there’s for some reason. Looking forward to going back and trying some other items on the menu.

Stopped in at 3 in the afternoon ordered 2 dozen birria tacos, rice, refried beans, chips. Took 20 minutes to get it all together. Got home everything packed well, all hot. Everything was spot on I could not ask or want more.

Small inside, however these tacos are a must try !! They are so so good!

Found this place after looking for Mexican food at three different locations. .all closed. Wow glad I found this one..had a great burrito that would easily feed two..what! Me share.. to good for that, ate it all...! Very good highly recommend..nice people to and authentic Mexican! ☆☆☆

Taco Tuesdays, homemade chips and guacamole salsa/salsa bar are whatsup! Prices on everything else are still very reasonable. It's a little hole-in-the-wall so dont expect it to be super clean but great place for quick, cheap Mex on Clayton Rd

An amazingly delicious, reasonably priced, and authentic restaurant. Soft tacos are around $2 each ($1 on Tuesday) and regular burritos (which are almost impossible to finish) are around $7. Quite a good deal for such fresh and so much food. They make their tortilla chips in house by cutting HUGE stacks of tortillas into quarters and dropping them into the fryer--worth the trip alone just for the chips. Location is a bit on the run down side and the inside can sometimes be dirty with sticky tables, however the food is too good to let that turn you away.

I had a yummy vegetarian burrito, my partner ordered enchiladas but we were given stale nachos. They were nice and corrected our order but the chips that came on the side were also very stale, at least 1-2 days old...

Waited almost 45 minutes for food, at least 5 people who ordered after me got their food first. I had to ask how much longer and come to find out the food was ready sitting next to cashier who never called my number so food was cold. Plus side... generous portions of meat and toppings on tacos but the flavor and quality of the pastor was ok at best. Chip & salsa bar was nice.

Are cheeseburger didn't come with lettuce tomato onions even though it says so on the menu that you order a burger that comes with all that and if you get a cheeseburger they add two pieces of cheese well the dumb cook didn't realize that. They forgot our tostada so I had to go back and get it and they didn't put any cheese on it almost like they are punishing us. The hamburger meat was horrible tasted like it was 10 days old. And my Alambres is supposed to have bacon in it which it did not. I don't think the cook even knew the menu. At least the pico de gallo is good. Their rice was a little salty but good and their refried beans were tasty.

They refused to make me a taco salad because I wanted it without sour cream and salsa. The waiter said I was making a whole new meal therefore they couldn't call it a taco salad. Definitely will not be returning as a paying customer I should be allowed to omit things from my meal. Also the lock on the bathroom door is broken. And the staff was very rude.

I am literally finishing my food right now as I write this review and I am very disappointed. I ordered a regular carne asada burrito and a taco de lengua. Both items lacked favor and burrito didn't even come with chilé or salsa. Food had no kick to it. Burrito was very dry and the taco felt very soggy. The lengua was very fatty and the tortilla was just cold and greasy. I would go somewhere else. BTW, this restaurant comes up as Los Gallos on Google but my receipt show it as Los Arcos Taqueria.

Wish cinco de mayo was open but unfortunately didn't make it through the pandemic! Food was horrible ! Rice under cooked and meat over cooked . Family of four and all of it was bad ! Save your money and buy taco bell !

Stale burrito and in the rice cheese bean burrito they added sour cream. It’s not original burrito anymore. Rice and beans has no flavor. Also I had nachos which was bland. I requested for extra salsa, they didn’t even give me one.

Mariachi Mexican Grill has better or as good of food except Mariachi's customer service is 1000 times better. This place has the worst service. The rude cashier girl didn't care that I waited for half hour watching people who ordered after me get their food first. And she had the nerve to make fun of it with the cook behind her. One of the worse Mexican food experiences I ever had. This is coming from someone who grew up in San Diego and have been eating Mexican food since 1985. My shrimp quesadilla was full of dirty shrimp and had absolutely NO flavor. Even their salsa bar was flavorless I left 3/4 of the quesadilla on the table. Disgusting!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. After patiently standing in line to pick up a to go order while two other people in front of me are placing new orders it was finally my turn. The restaurant allowed a lady who just walked in walk right up to the counter next to me. It was very obvious i was next and had already been standing in line for several minutes. She started speaking Spanish and they spent the next five minutes talking to her trying to find her phone in order that she had mistakenly placed at another restaurant. All three employees were attending to her, Let her place a new order, and had the nerve to tell me they will be with me in a minute. My food sat on the counter ready and was cold when I got it home five minutes away. I don't even know what to say. She cut in front of me speaking in Spanish and they helped her rather than telling her to wait her turn in line. I Will NEVER go back to this restaurant again. I would give 0 stars if I could but I can't post a review if I don't give atleast one star.

It’s really important that they get rid of the old los gallos sign to avoid this issue in the future because they are not similar to Los gallos at all and if that’s what you’re looking for you will probably not be satisfied here.
