Came here today to celebrate a couple birthdays with 2 friends. We dined in and I got the Mona's burger and a small side of fries. My son got a kid's burger with curly fries and a Reese's milkshake. When we got there they had us sit wherever we wanted. The server was very nice, we ended up being there for three and a half hours since we sat around and talked and ordered food to go for family members and had to wait. They only asked if we wanted refills once but they were super busy the entire time. My food tasted great. I really enjoyed everything. The burgers came with side greens which also tasted good. The only part that I wouldn't come back here for is the price. That wasn't a $15 burger. I really enjoyed everything, it was just a bit expensive for what it was.
New to the area! We live right across the street and so I’m so thankful to have so many places to walk to, Mona’s included. We went for happy hour and it’s a great value. We got a Diablo Burger and a classic Cheese Burger. I’ve been privy to Jalapeño burgers for the last year so I always like to try new ones. It was really tasty and worth trying if you want something different. We also got a chocolate Milk Shake and it was perfect. Definitely recommend ordering one to share.
I really enjoyed the Burger and Fries that I got. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The Curly Fries were well cooked and had great crunch. One minor critique is that the menu calls the Spicy Curly Fries, but I'm pretty sure they are just regular Curly Fries. But they are good.
Excellent customer service and atmosphere. I had the strawberry lemonade and the salmon wrap. It was amazing. I would recommend this place!
What a delicious place. Fries are crunchy thin. I had the Chicano hamburger with grilled chicken, guacamole and cheese. Also had a classic hamburger added avocado and crispy bacon. The inside of the restaurant is clean and friendly. Bathroom is clean. They do require vaccination verification.
I love coming here with my dog to enjoy tasty food! The staff are friendly and polite. The hotwings and sweet potato fries had a perfect crunch, and the chicken was jucy.
14 bucks for a big a$$ Angus beef patty... Charbroiled... Red onion... Bonus picke spear... Friendly staff...parking was meh... Will be back...

Take out from oak grove, Mediterranean burger with sweet potato fries. Next time would like to eat in, but food was on point, people were nice, and restaurant looked accommodating for a small family. Will be back to try some other options.
I got large Onion Rings yesterday. It was very good! I highly recommend this restaurant! 🙂
Wow... wow. The burgers are amazing. My wife got the Hawaiian burger I got the cali. Mine was med rare. And wow. The beef was amazing. I noticed the menu said grass fed beef. I haven't ever tried it. Wow. Mouth water just thinking about it. Staff is supper accommodating. Showed up with 8 of us. We all got sat right away. They had these recycled glass milk containers they fill with water to serve ur self. I alone went thru 4. Water tasted filtered thats a plus. The curly fried had a familiar taste .like jack in the box but with out the taste of oil. So a high end curly fry I guess u could say. The restaurant it self has an amazing collection of art all around the walls. We arnt from the area. And boy am I happy I stumbled into this gem. Wow if ever in concord u HAVE to stop at monastery burgers & shakes. Thank you all again for the amazing and attentive service.
This place has Class! I might consider this place a gourmet Burger restaurant, but I won't because they didn't have gourmet Rootbeer to go with the Amazing and delicious "Screw The Diet" Burger. I also had some straight chilly fries with cheese and almost filled me up but then the burger arrived with a salad as well and some very friendly service. They have some great pictures on the wall and it looks like an old fashion Irish Pub. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I was checked on several times by the staff to make sure I had what I needed. I ended up with a fountain root beer and it was alright. The fresh water the home style feel and the basket ball game playing in the back ground made this a very enjoyable evening it was almost full on a Tuesday night. Kids and families all enjoying themselves. The way it could have been better would be to provide a warm we towel or hand wipe. Also the table were sticky. All in all 9.47 out of 10
Here, the food and atmosphere is wonderful. We loved the quality of their food. Our family loved the varierty of burgers, sides and sauces availabllr. These folks were extremely generous and let us try all dipping sauces that were on the menu without hesitation. Also, our server was one of the best we have had. Our server showed us exemplary hospitality (Mouloud I think was his name). These folks care. Highly recommend. Definitely going back to try a different burger soon!

06/21/25 Update: Went in for lunch shortly after they opened and stuffed my face with a pint of Elysian Fields IPA, some spicy curly fries, and the Drunken Burger (lager beer honey sauce, melted blue cheese, bacon, and crispy onions). All were very good. Their truffle burger is also a great tasting burger. This time I made sure to actually take a photo before diving in. The staff were friendly and courteous. The artwork was fun to look through while waiting for your order. Lots of Banksy prints. Original review: Great burgers, fun vibe, fantastic service.
The truffle burger and fries were delicious! The truffle burger has this amazing truffle blue cheese on it and the burger was cooked perfectly. The house made ranch was amazing too. Size small fries was a big portion! Overall, the prices were pretty high, $16 for a burger is kind of outrageous even if it is quality. It was worth the stop, but not a regular habit.
While visiting my sister we stopped here for a meal. The burgers 🍔 are super yummy and the milkshakes, wholy cow they’re amazing!!!! Lot’s of parking and service is fantastic too.
excellent burger and sweet potato fries..a bit pricey for the locale, though!

I got a veggie burger to go and fries. I was on time to pick up and the fries were already soggy and flaccid. The veggie burger was the California, the Patty was fine but the Lettuce was starting to turn and the amount of avocado and sprouts was a joke!! Not worth 15$. Do not waste your money. Partner got the classic and the meat was good but they forgot the cheese..

Tasteless and bland burgers, frozen quality fries. High prices. Go to a fast food place instead and skip this.
I can get a combo meal at Jack in the Box for the same price as just a burger here, and not only will I *not* be disappointed, it'll be better. I asked for brioche bun. I got a baguette. (Why is a baguette even an option?) I asked for medium rare. I got well done. I asked for garlic on my onion rings. I got garlic oil. I asked for lettuce on my burger. I got a single, sad leaf, wilted, warm, and covered in grease and pickle juice, lying on the bottom of the box, *under* the baguette bun (again, *why* a baguette?!?) I asked for a tomato, I got a tomato heel the size of a half dollar that was fifty percent fiber from the stem. Everything was cold, despite my having grabbed it right as it came out of the back and living a two minute drive away. Same distance as the Jack in the Box, by the way, and getting the food hot is never a problem for them. It didn't even feel like a unified, coherent sandwich. I got a piece of bread, a patty with some cheese melted on to it (which suggests it was hot at *some* point), and a pile of warm vegetables off to the side. Nothing to make it feel like this is a single thing that all works together. No mayonnaise, no mustard, no house sauce, just a bunch of stuff thrown in a cheap plastic box. The vegetables, by the way, include a pickle, just sitting on the bottom of the box. I get that some people love the things, and those people can have all the pickles that are allocated to me, and I wish them and their pickles all the happiness in the world, but pickle juice infects everything it touches, anything *nearby,* and any decent chef should know that. So everything that I paid for stinks like something I hate. They might as well have pissed on it. Would have saved money on the pickle. I gave them thirty bucks and got a box of disappointment. Learn from my mistake. They get two stars instead of one because the onion rings crunched. That they managed to crunch when they were ice cold was pretty impressive; imagine what they'd be like warm!

If you have celiac disease or a gluten allergy, I don’t recommend eating at Mona’s Burgers. I’ve ordered five times now, four dine-in and one to go, and every single order has had a gluten issue. I always request a gluten-free bun and I’m always charged extra for it, yet my burger still arrives on a regular bun. Then I have to speak up because I simply can’t eat gluten, and the bun has been switched out and brought right back each time. By then the burger has already touched gluten, so it isn’t safe. I shouldn’t have to explain that. Staff should understand cross-contamination. It also creates an awkward moment at the table. I end up feeling like the “high maintenance” person when I’m just trying to avoid getting sick, which takes away from what’s supposed to be an easy lunch or dinner. Because of this pattern, I don’t pick Mona’s anymore. But when coworkers choose it, I go along. Today I tried to be extra careful and ordered a Caesar salad with no croutons. My colleague confirmed it, yet it still arrived with croutons, as you can see in the photo. The assumption seems to be that I can just remove them, which isn’t true for people who can’t eat gluten. The food tastes good and the staff isn’t unfriendly, but after five similar experiences, it feels clear they don’t understand gluten safety. If you don’t have dietary restrictions, you’ll probably enjoy it. If you have celiac disease or a gluten allergy, it may not be a safe choice.
