stopped by on a whim, spent about $15 dollars per person for some delicious and good-sized entrees + free chips & salsa. the service was great, the restaurant is inviting and fun inside, definitely worth trying

So I want to give this a great review. Overall I was happy with my visit. But the food for the price isn’t that great. It’s pretty bland. Also they could do a refresh on their cocktails that they offer. I was happy with the service and they accommodated my special request. A suggestion would be with the salsa bar to offer a spicier salsa. The salsa aren’t labeled so I didn’t know which was spiciest. Not bad for what it is overall, but if the owner reads this try to make your food more flavorful, add spices, and improve your drinks. The Bloody Mary didn’t really taste authentic, so I had to try something else. I want to come back, but I don’t think I will unless they improve their food and drinks.

Great tasting food, excellent service and elegant setting made it a perfect evening. We had the guava Margarita and jalapeño Margarita. Then tried the flight. Too good! The chips, bean dip and salsa are just perfectly spiced for the heat we love. The vegetarian burrito, Chile relleno and cheese enchiladas with green sauce was delicious. The best I have tasted. Highly recommend!

Awesome flavors and good portions for the cost. They have happy hour deals 3-6 every day like $5 margs and reasonably priced apps. $1.50 Taco Tuesday is my jam. I love their salsa bar too, lots of options including a delicious ancho guajillo chile paste that I can't get enough of. Worth a try!

We've gotten takeout a couple times from here, but this was the first time dining in. Everything was excellent, including the service. The salsa bar choices are all amazing, as is their mole sauce.

WOW! So tasty! It's absolutely amazing. The super chicken burrito is nothing less than perfection, and the care they take with every customer's order makes this my number one suggestion for food in santa rosa. (Super burrito is huge) 😁👍 ps, great presentation 👌

We were looking for a local Mexican restaurant on an overnight visit to Santa Rosa. We wanted something that was small, clean and locally owned. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into this spot. We were greeted by a friendly smile and welcome from the waitress. The menu was extensive and reasonably priced. We both had the two combination plates. The chicken tamales had minimal masa and loads of meat. The beef enchilada was tender and flavorful. The Birria taco was delicious. It was beef covered with melted cheese and mole sauce. All combos come with rice, refried beans and coleslaw. Don’t miss the place. It’s has friendly staff, atmosphere and delicious food.

Very beautiful art pieces on the walls. The restaurant was full of life and color. The waitress that attended our need was very very sweet and let us know if we needed anything. The food wasn't bad I actually I enjoyed it and so did my partner. I would visit it again.

I went in there for four tacos on a Friday afternoon and it cost me $20 so I asked to go your tacos cost $5 each? She said yes but they're the larger ones. I got home only to find that the larger tacos contained ground beef cheese and a little bit of lettuce that was it. It didn't even really fill the tacos shells up. I thought this was an excessive price. Their service is always very fast very efficient very nice people the restaurant looks great but that price of their tacos was ridiculous! Their food always tastes great; but the price of their tacos was just outrageous and they were pitiful looking as well.

One thing I can say is that the food was really fresh unfortunately my order was inaccurate which is very disappointing when you're spending about $75. I ordered fish tacos and was given shrimp though it tastes good not what I wanted. Then I order the nacho fries and I made it very clear that I only want the fries and not the nacho chips mixed with it. But of course when we got home and open it it had both. And thought they were good but it's the fact of spending $75 making things specifically clear and is still being ignored. Honestly I probably won't go back again.

Unfortunately due to the bar being set so high the few times me and my friends hav been we have been largely disappointed. We frequent the Petaluma el centro location on Kentucky st and it’s amazing their service the food and everything is perfect. This location in Santa Rosa however is not nearly as good my friends got burritos which were not rolled properly and fell apart immediately and I got a 2 item combo the rice seasoning was off the beans were water and the red sauce on my enchilada was not right it was weirdly to light in color and had no flavor except tomato. If looking for a good Mexican restaurant make the trip up to downtown Petaluma instead you won’t be disappointed

Ordered near closing time and the sauce tasted like it had been sitting out and wasn’t very fresh, talking from experience. Usually id give a good review thoughz

Waitress was nice, but food and drink did not arrive timely or correctly as requested. The quesobirria I ordered was mostly fat so I didnt get much of any meat.

Chicken was old recooked several times couldn’t eat it and was sick rest of the night from what I did eat. Warming up food is ridiculous for a restaurant worse than a taco truck in my opinion went here because la Rosa was closed will never return. Very overpriced for had terrible the food was

ordered the macho burrito it came skimped on sour cream, guac on top, and steak was extremely dry fatty and grisly. had a great one from the rohnert park location but this one sucked waste of 23$! also gave me terrible stomach ache will never go back to any mi pubelo from now on. go to el roys!
