Great spot in the heart of Petaluma. We tried a range of sandwiches—the schnitzel plate, the Weinmannburger patty melt (standout), and a salad—and everything hit the mark. The pickle plate appetizer was excellent, and all the sides that came with the sandwiches were just as good as the mains. Cocktails were well-balanced and worth ordering. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the space itself has a chic, stylish vibe with tasteful decor. Overall, a well-executed deli experience that’s both classic and elevated. Great to hang, grab a bite and kick back!

Absolutely lovely time at Grossman's Noshery. The vareniki was particularly good, truly delicious! We also got a pastrami reuben, which was quite good as well. The cut of the meat on the reuben was a bit too fatty and chewy, and it could have used more sauce and sauerkraut, but maybe I'm just a purist when it comes to reubens! The vibes of the place were immaculate, and the shalom spritz was delicious. The staff were very friendly and efficient as well. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place we dined at for a family outing. We enjoyed the outdoor patio... quiet, and just steps away from open parking. Lots of fun options on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and loved by all.

One word – WOW! They have an amazing menu loaded with incredibly unique and interesting eats! They clearly do their own brisket and pastrami and it’s in the menu. They have some very authentic styled NYC Jewish and bagel foods too! And their cocktail menu is on point! Service was very nice, especially from the bartender on the night we visited. Highly recommend stopping in to give them a try. I’d definitely love to come back for lunch!

Walked by a couple times, but my coworkers were talking about how great this place was, and they were spot on. What a great way to start the day with Bubbjr breakfast sandwich, ask for their hollandaise sauce on the side and better yet get a pastrami sandwich to go for later. I couldn’t finish my sandwich and sausage , healthy portions. Great authentic deli food with fast and friendly service. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Maybe it was because I got a chopped liver sandwich, but I couldn’t finish it lol my partner also got the pastrami sandwich but the bread wasn’t toasted and it was just your typical pastrami sandwich. Pretty pricey for sandwiches and no sides. The fries were really good though - thin and good crisp and seasoned. My cocktail was also yummy! They infuse their own vodka. Overall, I’d go for the drinks but not just for a casual lunch - was expensive for food that was nothing extraordinary.

Good but not great. Bloody Mary was top notch however. Friendly and clean, with attentive staff. I enjoyed my food but was not as overly impressed as I was hoping to be. I will go back though!!

I visited at the tail end of what would be a mid-week lunch rush. Outside patio seating was pretty full but inside was nice, clean and calm. The waitstaff was on it and attentive, and the place had just a nice vibe. It helps that the location is pretty awesome as far as Santa Rosa’s “old” and/or “historical area” goes too. I thought I ordered the Reuben but ended up getting a plain pastrami sando (totally my error), but it was a happy accident as the pastrami has to be one of the top pastrami (for me) as far as flavor. Just something about the light smokiness of the meat that made it. I’ll have to try a Reuben next time. And as a sucker for coffee, I had the regular drip coffee they offered. Tasty stuff! Parking was plenty, location is solid, SMART station is within spitting distance….

Lox Plate – Fresh, balanced, and absolutely delicious. The smoked salmon with cream cheese, tomato, cucumber, onion, and capers on a plain bagel was perfect. Would definitely order again. Fish & Chips – The fries were amazing—crispy and flavorful. The fish was decent, but the batter was a bit dry and bland. Coleslaw was dry and needed more flavor. Stuffed Cabbage – Just OK. The veal and shiitake filling wasn’t quite what we expected, and it lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for. Straus Organic Soft Serve – Incredible! The macerated blackberries and white chocolate crumble made this dessert unforgettable. Margarita – Perfectly balanced and refreshing. It was one of the best margaritas I’ve had in a while.

We visited your restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the NY scramble with house-made lox. I found the dish to be too salty to eat. When the server came back and said, "is everything OK?," I paused and said "it's incredibly salty." I had stopped eating by that point. I figured that my statement and body language (I had stopped eating) indicated that everything was "not" OK, but her response was simply, "oh. I haven't tried that one." Whereupon she walked away. I was left to interpret her response as some combination of "yeah well, that's just the way it is," and/or, "nor will we be doing anything about it." Which leads one to wonder why she bothered to ask if everything was OK to begin with. I still don't know if the dish I was served was out of spec, or if it's just a saltier dish than I care for. I don't want to knock the whole restaurant over this; our meal was pleasant and otherwise satisfactory. Nor was this our first visit. Having said that, I'm not finding that I'm eager to return, at least on a weekend. I took the leftovers home and shared them with others, who also commented, "wow is that salty," so I don't think the facts described are particularly subjective.

I have been going to Grossmans since they opened, especially right before the winter Holidays. Yesterday I went to have lunch and unfortunately this was the second time the food was very mediocre And the Hostess was unfriendly unwelcoming since there was barely anyone in the restaurant. Thankfully the Bartender acknowledged us after standing in front for around 10 minutes while her and our eventual server stood around looking at us, I have to say All the other times there were very nice young people who treated us in a welcoming manner. The food has gone downhill unfortunately, but the children really love the chicken n fries on the children’s menu, the cocktails are delicious as well. I really hope that the last two times I’ve eaten here was just a fluke and they try harder to be better because the prices are not inexpensive and so you expect to have a good meal.

Had the Brooklyn Bagel with lox and all the fixings, all the ingredients were great but the bagel was a Cheerios sliced in half and that means it also holds half the lox and stuff as an adult size bagel does. Service was good but I will not be back for two drinks and a bagel for $50 plus tip. I wonder what will open in this spot next?

Today was the 3rd Cobb salad it only had 6 pieces of the turkey, last time was 7 pieces and the previous was 6 and lately I have been getting like a few squares of avocado too but today was the first time I opened it at the counter right after I got it and showed it to the manager and I didn’t feel she was in my side and looked at me with disbelieved I mention something about it and took my salad and added more turkey, I don’t know if they reduced the amount of meat in their food or salads but homely the size of each piece is about half of inch for a $20 dolar plus tip for a salad is crazy to get a salad with that very little turkey, I have been getting the salad for a long time since I work on the same block. I am not sure if they switched cooks or what is going on. I really like their food but reducing the meat this much is crazy to think I want to keep giving my money to them even more with the look I got from the manager, I wish I had taken a picture of it.

I have dined at Grossman's a few times and never had issues with customer service. However, this time, I was there to pick up an online order. The store was not busy as they usually are, and there was no other customers at the pick up line. I said hello and greeted the blonde young lady, who did not acknowledge me, nor said "hi" or the usual way you would greet your customers. She grabbed my to go bag and tossed it on the counter top. One of the items in the bag almost flipped over. Didn't even apologize, or ask if I had wanted anything else or let alone said "thank you." Decent food, but terrible customer service. Will not go back.
