Great service. Great pisco sour. Went for happy hour.
I've eaten here twice and both times loved the food! The vegan ceviche is the perfect balance of salt-fat-acid-heat. I appreciate they also have 2 vegan entrees: the lentil mushroom dish is very flavorful and looking forward to trying the risotto next . So happy to have vegan choices that are not just a boring impossible burger or hummus or polenta. The service was friendly and attentive and nice to have outdoor patio dining option.
Excellent vibe and service food was fantastic great spot for a date night* got the lomo saltado mixto (like surf'n'turf) and it was delicious. My wife got the seafood plate that has a creamy sauce and reminded me of a seafood risotto or paella. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
Nice spot to have a couple of drinks and just hang out. They have a nice vibe and it looks nice. The employees were nice and I love the food.
Stopped in for a couple cocktails on a trip to Santa Rosa. The venue has a great inviting vibe. The cocktail menu is varied and extensive. We found some really creative concoctions that not only sounds good but tastes fantastic. Bar tenders were incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Looking forward to stopping by next time I’m in the area.
My wife and I have been here 5-6 times now...The food, staff, and atmosphere are all quite good, which is why we've kept coming back. It's also nice to have something a bit different to choose from if you're in the downtown area and you can also get delivery through Dash/Grub. Notably, there are several quality gluten free options--which is great for my wife. And, they're all just as good as anything that isn't available GF--which is a plus. Appetizers: The ceviche is always very good, with high quality fish and accompanying plantain chips. We order it every time! The octopus is also outstanding. Hard to go wrong... Cocktails: They have a very fun cocktail menu with local and Peruvian inspirations. They're always made very well, with something for everybody to choose from...It's probably one of the better cocktail menus in the downtown area, but largely because it's its own thing. Definitely come just to try a couple (or three). Main courses: Every entrée we've had has been fantastic...High quality ingredients, cooked well, and amazing Peruvian dishes with fantastic flavors. We've eaten quite a few options from the menu and I can't think of anything that we didn't rave about... I would say the only downside about the menu is the price, but in our opinion everything has always been well worth it. The atmosphere and staff and good downtown location add to the value. Conclusion: A great date-night location with great food and cocktails!
Wow, the ceviche is top-notch. So much flavor… I’ll probably be dreaming of it regularly. Cocktails are also well made and beautiful. Great remodel on the inside. All around great new place downtown. Well definitely be back!
We sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. I had a Warike Sour which was not too sweet and just what I was craving. We had I think the best ceveche of my life. Little spicy but the fact it was prepared traditionally with lots and lots of citrus made it the perfect balance of flavors. Our Bartender was really sweet and eager to find me the perfect drink. We will definitely be back.
Outstanding lunch of salmon with crema. Everything was so fresh and everything from baby carrots, beans and potatoes were cooked to perfection My friend and I were so sorry we split the meal as it was lunch. We both said we recommend ordering whole dish. Not too much, but perfection a plate
Excellent everything! From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely accommodating. The beer was great and food was exceptionally delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes and each one was very tasty. Empanadas appetizer, salads, etc. This place is a gem!
I have been a few times for lunch, and was just there for a dinner event. It was great, the service was great and getting to know the owner and staff made it feel inviting. We were in the upstairs loft with about 50 people. Food was excellent. Looking forward to going back.
A little bit expensive but the quality is here, lomo saltado pretty good, the meat is tender and nice presentation. Beautiful restaurant inside, cool ambient, server and manager great. Thank you.
My boyfriend took me here to celebrate my 24th birthday, on a Monday. We arrived close to closing time around 8pm, we never felt rushed throughout our dinner. What caught my eye right away was how vibrant and clean the restaurant was, the atmosphere was so beautiful. The waitress who helped us was very sweet and polite she helped us navigate through the menu because it was our first time trying Peruvian food. We first ordered drinks and the bartender made them delicious, she was also very nice and helped me order another drink. We then ordered our appetizer, the Parmesan scallops tasted fresh and the cheese was delicious. Our next course was our main entree we both ordered the same meal and the beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection it was so juicy and when I cut through it was medium rare, my boyfriend and I both agreed that we’ve never tasted anything better, the huancania was creamy and flavorful. We then ordered dessert, we chose the tres leches and it was moist, delicious, and sweet, they even added a drizzle over the plate and we cleaned our plate we wanted more. Once we were done we happened to be the last customers there and we had the honor to meet the chef and owner he was so sweet and seemed like a family man. Our experience was perfect I have no complaints the presentation of everything we received was gorgeous, the who vibe of the restaurant was very authentic. We can’t wait to go again ☺️❤️
It's expensive, but since it was the best meal I've had in a long time, I'd say it was worth it. My partner and I both had the lomo saltado (his with shrimp). We asked for something to dip the fries in, and they brought us an aioli and a very spicy dip - we combined them and it was so so good. I got a Caipy to drink and I think it was the best cocktail I've ever had. They didn't refill my water enough, but that's the only complaint I have. We'll be back.
It’s my first time to try Peruvian food and amazing me. Bravo! I recommend grilled octopus and Peru beef. Will come back next time.
My husband and I stopped by accident because we thought it was a Hawaiian restaurant, but then we realized it was Peruvian cuisine. I've been to other Peruvian restaurants before, and I must say, this is a good one. I ordered the lobster ravioli and loved it! It was super delicious. My husband ordered the aji de gallina and loved it as well! The waitresses were so nice and fast, and the place is just so pretty!
Very nice interior. Was also very surprised at how well the food was prepared. The ceviche was very good. We had Lomo saltado it was OK but not excellent. Then we had Seco de Carne. My God the meat was so tender and had an excellent flavor. The rice and beans were excellent. If you are looking for a new meal try this.
Sat outside in the sunshine for a bday lunch and it was glorious! Felt like being in Europe on a terrace. The food was spectacular and the cocktails too. Friendly staff as well. Will def be back!
Delicious food & cocktails! Our food came out super quick. Highly recommend the salmon
Came for drinks and had a great time! My fiancé and I love good cocktails and came into Warike on a whim. The cocktails were well designed and the bartender was amazingly talented. Not to mention the bar manager has a lean manufacturing setup for his crew which I really dig. 100% would recommend!
Tried this restaurant during our stay in Santa Rosa. It was right across the hotel. I had done a search for restaurants nearby prior to our stay. The reviews and taking a look at their menu convinced me to make a reservation. The reservation was not needed as we went in at around 7 on a Sunday. Everything we ordered was great! I have tried a couple Peruvian restaurants and this by far has been the best. Our group loved the Pulpo Anticuchero! My Maracuya Sour was perfect, and the Muchilo was another delicious tropical cocktail. We also ordered the Lomo Saltado mixto, Tallarines Verdes, and the Ceviche Clasique. If we ever happen to be back in this area I’d chose this place again.

Ceviche is a must, one the best I’ve ever had in a while. Empanadas and salad were goooood!

First time coming in. Was walking by looking for lunch and checked out the menu and it sounded pretty good. Hands tried Peruvian food before and glad I did. The ceviche was delicious as well as the empanadas. The hot sauce they gave me was so perfect loved the fresh taste just right amount of heat can't wait to try the place again.
One of my favorite local spots! Introduced by a friend, and it is now our go to when we see each other. The "pesto" dish is phenomenal, and so are all the drinks. A bit pricey, but worth every bit!
Food was delicious and surprisingly large portion sizes. Excellent Ceviche. Great service, and I really liked the pretty cocktails. I think the evening ambiance would be better if the lighting wasn’t quite so bright inside.

Good food and a delicious cocktail! Our server was very helpful and treated us well. The room was pretty cold, but we asked him to close the door and it improved somewhat.
We just came for cocktails, which were delicious and made quickly. However, this place smells like mold. It’s bad, and as someone sensitive to smells, it dampened my experience there. I wouldn’t be able to return to this establishment until they fix that smell. I hope management is aware and working to fix this issue.
Very good! Cocktails are out of the norm and very tasty, dishes are good or fantastic (flank steak and pesto pasta was remarkably flavorful). Decor is lively and different. Service was good. I hope this place sticks around!
Recently, we had dinner here and we’re pleasantly impressed. My dining companion has family in Peru and is familiar with the cuisine. We both thought the empanadas were awesome! The atmosphere was great and we enjoyed our waitress who was very friendly! I can definitely recommend it!
Overall, our experience here was very good. We love Ayawaska, so we came into dinner with high expectations. The decor inside is lovely. The tile floor is exquisite, and the rest of the restaurant is very clean and modern. The long wooden bench we sat on wobbled every time anyone down the line moved at all, so that wasn’t too comfortable, though. The service was a slow, relaxed pace, perfect for a romantic evening. The drinks were all fantastic. Presentation was attractive and the flavors were out of this world - the chinchanita was our favorite! My wife and I both absolutely loved the empanadas. She also really liked the wontons (tequeños), but I wasn’t terribly impressed. I got the Mixto and loved it. She got the aji de gallina, and it was almost like chicken slop on rice. It was surprisingly bland, mushy, and unappealing visually. That meal was a huge swing and miss. The cost of the meal was also high enough that we might not give it a second try. Four drinks, two apps, and two meals was $160 not including the tip. It’s a value-for-the-price concern for us there. If the food blew us away, we wouldn’t care. But a couple items definitely did not, so that’s a big cost for a less than stellar total experience. UPDATED TO ADD PHOTOS
I'm not a big fan of Peruvian food but this place was pretty good. If your in a group and dont know what to get and dont care for Peruvian food then I recommend the salmon salad. It's really good.

I was disappointed in the food, Lomo Saltado. Was dry and over cooked, even when the waiter warned me it was supposed to be medium rare. It was well done and had little flavor. And my date's dinner was warned to be spicy, but she said it had no spice at all. My date said the atmosphere was nice and the cocktails were good. Overall very disappointed in a Valentine's day meal.
The menu pages were so sticky and dirty they stuck together. Drinks were good but service was awful. He took our order for a drink. Started it then left to talk to the kitchen staff. We had to ask someone else to finish it. When he returned he never made eye contact until we asked for our check. We had the lobster shrimp ravioli which was ok. We asked for bread to sop up the sauce. We finished the meal before he remembered the bread. The counter was stick so much so my sweater stuck to it. I will not return. I work hard for my money and need to spend it consciously.
The ceviche was well flavored, and so were the tallarines verde. Unfortunately the steak that accompanied the tallarines left something to be desired. The meat was small and rough and not well seasoned. The portions are very small, and while the flavors in the ceviche were tasty, I just could not believe how small everything was portion wise. I would like to give the the ceviche dishes 5 stars for flavor, but take away a few stars for portion/ price. I don't mind paying $22 for a ceviche but I couldn't fathom paying for that size again. Same thing for the tallarines verdes, the plate was tasty, except the steak, and again, for $24 I would expext a tad bigger portion and definitely better steak selection. The maracuya sour was very good, at $15 a drink. The arroz con mariscos had a better portion however was missing zafron and the rice was a bit too mushy. Kids ordered the chicken tenders and fries which was a decent portion but the fries were not good. Overall the food is good, but you may expect to pay over $30 per person and still leave hungry. Service was excellent though. Personally I don't think we would come back.
We visited this place during restaurant week, service was okay poor girl was by herself. In other Peruvian place corn nuts is given at the table while you wait for your food, not at this place you. and they were out of some sodas we liked, bummer. Servings was too little not sure if we're coming back.

Anniversary dinner. First time here. Started with a Pisco Sour that was good though I had to get it at the bar. Got tired of waiting for the waitress. Had the won tons with crab for an appetizer, really good. Entree was Lomo Saltado mixto. The beef was dry unfortunately. The shrimp was good. My wife had the Arroz con Mariscos which was good. What I didn't like was the surprise 4% fee for Governmental Employer Mandates. Very tiny print at the bottom of the kids menu of all places. The waitress said it was for the back staff. So who knows what it is for. Looked at the menu at the restaurant next door and they didn't have it. I don't like hidden fees. So the food wasn't so over the top to warrant me coming back.

y'all. there was hair in the food, the fries were DEFINITELY cooked or at least stored in the same place as the fish because they tasted like straight up old smelly fish. meat was tender i guess but just tasted like straight up oil but there was no oil in the dish? tummy hurts.
I didn’t have a very good experience at this place. First, we asked if they had a happy hour, and the waiter said he “didn’t know.” How is it possible that someone who works there doesn’t know if there’s a happy hour? Online it says happy hour starts at 3 p.m., but the waiter said it started at 4 p.m. Anyway, then they brought the appetizers, but they were incomplete. We asked the waiter because the menu said the calamari came with potato chips, and they didn’t serve them. Instead of admitting they forgot, the waiter just said they simply didn’t have any. After that, they brought the main course — we ordered the lomo saltado. Honestly, it wasn’t that good, very average, especially for the price. Honestly, I wouldn’t come back to this place.
