There’s a reason why this place is a standard go-to for breakfast & brunch: the selections are vast, the food comes out super-rapidly if you avoid the rush-hour times, and the table service is fabulous (again, if you avoid popular, waiting-line times). We arrived midweek around 11AM, were immediately greeted at the door, allowed our pick of tables, served rapidly and kindly, and received our order in what seemed like only 5 minutes (!!) — maybe less? It was *fast*. Our coffee mugs were refilled as often as we liked, we were pleased to ask for, and receive, fresh salsa with our meals, and the prices were equivalent to most other nearby breakfast joints. Recommend planning your visit! Google Maps provides timeline stats on busy times, so, just avoid those. It’s hard to run a restaurant, especially post-pandemic; as customers we can make things easier by not having unreasonable expectations.

Awesome place. I happen to visit this side to attend a wedding and came across this place. Great menu. Of you like omelette or anything related to eggs then this is the place for you. I ordered California Benedicts and it came with their own signature country potato as side. I only have good things about it. The service was prompt, friendly.. The interior was unique. I'd visit this place again soon.

Great restaurant for breakfast fare and lunches. Great decoration inside with some classic car parts up on the walls. So many options of omelette that you could choose as well as make your own selection. Located near old Santa Rosa downtown. We found street parking easily in from of the restaurant on Sunday afternoon. Great home fries with green onions that came with all of our egg dishes.

This place is really good. Excellent service- Quick too!! We couldn’t help but eat here two days in a row. Nice strong coffee. Loved the salsa.. big portions. The first day I got an omelette. The next day eggs ranchero (pictured with sauce on the side). If you own a restaurant come and eat here. This is what service should be like everywhere. Great job team omelette!

Had the special.. fluffy lite pancakes, eggs and bacon.. yummy 😋 amazing service. Thank you for letting our party stay a little longer without making us feel rushed..

This restaurant is such a cute spot! It was quite busy when I came in, but they still managed to maintain great customer service, which really stood out. I ordered the corned beef and it was absolutely amazing — definitely worth it! I also tried the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was a little different from what I’m used to, but it was still quite nice and tasty in its own way. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. The atmosphere, service, and food all made for a great experience, and I would definitely come back again!

We were recently in Santa Rosa on vacation and had breakfast at The Omelette Express. It was a quick walk from the Hyatt Regency where we stayed in the historic railroad district. The restaurant had very cool decor with old car fronts mounted on the wall and other eclectic items in abundance. The menu was, appropriately, railroad themed (which, as a rail geek, I loved!). I had the build-your-own omelette, which I got with cheese, mushrooms, spinach, and shrimp. It was served with breakfast potatoes, and I added a side of turkey sausage. The omelette was large and very good, but because my office cafe has an omelette station, it just did not reach the level that I am used to at work. Had it not been for that, I think I would have liked it much more. The turkey sausages were three huge links. They were too sweet for my tastes, unfortunately. My only real complaint was that it was eye-wateringly expensive. With tip, we spent $75 for two for a relatively straightforward breakfast. While the food was good, it simply was not worth the price. Some of that is just the reality of California, but it seemed overpriced even for California.

The food was bland, the waitress said that they don’t salt the food and you’re supposed to use the salt shaker to salt it to your taste. It was pretty mediocre because food without salt is just bland, the salsa was also bland and the potatoes were as well. For the price and what they promise it is very mediocre.

This is your regular run of the mill American breakfast restaurant that serves huggge portions. I seriously don’t understand the portion sizes, how can one adult eat so much food. The portion sizes are huge with upwards of 1500 calories. We ordered an Avo toast, which came with 3 inches thick toast with 3-4 scrambled eggs on top. Who eats that? Zero flavor. You can see the last picture with the amount of food left over after we were done eating. Food was mediocre, and it was a waste of food and money.

Arrived during a busy breakfast brunch time that the table we were given was dirty. It took asking two wait staff members if we could get a rag to clean the table. I did enjoyed my Lox omelette even though the salmon was on the salty side, which indicates to me they used smoked salmon instead of fresh. The country potatoes appeared overcooked as they looked burnt with a mushy constancy. My boyfriend and I did ask for sourdough bread with our orders, but were given wheat instead. We weren't given an explanation as to why sourdough bread wasn't available and staff did rush us when we made our order. Overall it's a nice place for a quick meal, but not my go-to for a relaxed atmosphere breakfast/ brunch stop. It's okay.

I am an animal lover but this place allows non-service dogs in the interior dining areas of the restaurant. I personally don't think that's very clean. When we visited, we were sat next to a family with their standard sized poodle who were seated only 20 feet away from the open-air kitchen. In terms of the restaurant itself, there was a small wait to get in on a Saturday morning. Nothing too crazy. The decorations are cute and restrooms were clean. Servers and host were friendly. Food was not very good. We ordered an omelette, french toast, and biscuits and gravy. I wouldn't choose to order any of them again.

Nan, our server had a bad attitude from the start. She clearly didn't want to be there and made it well known to us. We were waiting on another person to arrive and she continually came over to the table, wanting to know if we were ready to order. Next we placed our order and a meal came out that my mother was quite unpleased with. I also wasn't happy with the way my eggs were prepared. I chose not to say anything and eat it anyways. When we tried to communicate with the server, letting her know that we weren't happy. This happened on multiple occasions and each time she walked away from the table, not acknowledging what we were saying. Some of the worst service I've had. We won't be returning. This is not an industry she belongs in with this type of attitude.
