Barecito en pleno corazón del centro de Santander, tuvimos suerte y no hicimos mucha cola, aunque a los 2 min estaba a tope. Recomiendo ir temprano. Comida de calidad y muy barata. Sopa muy rica por solo 4€.

Que suerte tuvimos de encontrar esta bodega para comer en Santander. La comida toda buenísima y el servicio muy muy bueno. Pedimos media de queso picón que estaba delicioso. Cocido montañés muy bueno y muchas cantidad. Y también pedimos bonito a la plancha que estaba muy muy bueno. Muchas gracias por todo!!

Muy buenas raciones y servicio. Vinimos sin conocerlo por la noche y había mucha cola. La esperamos y nos sentamos en la terraza. Las raciones estaban muy baratas en comparación con los locales de alrededor y todo bastante bueno. A destacar el servicio de Brenda, estando todo a rebosar es muy ágil y atenta, se maneja con el inglés y te facilita todo al momento y con amabilidad, una máquina! Nos hubiera gustado venir a comer pero estaba ya todo reservado para toda la semana. Vendremos seguro dadas las reseñas positivas. Sitio muy recomendable y agradable. Le pongo cuatro estrellas a la atmósfera ya que me ha agobiado un poco el que haya tanta gente, pero es lo que tiene ir a un sitio tan demandado (en hora punta) sin una previa reserva.

Las tres BBB así podemos definir el restaurante. Cantidad y calidad acorde al precio, no se puede pedir más, comida contundente. Rapidez en el servicio.

Este sitio es de los que tienes que ir si pasas por Santander. Probamos el queso picón, la cecina de león, las albóndigas y la jija con huevos fritos todo genial y a muy buenos precios, casi imposible hacer una reserva con menos de 1 semana de antelación (fuimos en pleno Agosto) los camareros súper simpáticos. La cocina abre a las 1 pero el bar abre a las 12, si quieres coger sitio en la barra o en las mesitas de fuera te recomiendo que vayas antes de que abra o tendrás que esperar unos 30 min mas o menos, lo mejor del bar junto la comida y el servicio son los precios súper recomendable!

Hemos llegados sin reserva dos personas,y nos han atendido fenomenal,a parte de dejarnos usar una mesa q estaba reservada,los camareros majos y atentos y la comida espectacular y a un precio de risa, 20.70€ dos personas.Totalmente recomendable,volveremos.

Las mejores croquetas que te vas comer En tu vida!!!! Por fuera lo ves y no te dan ganas de entrar….pero os digo que es de lo mejor que vas a encontrar en Santander, ambiente, servicio, calidad de los platos, y precio. Volveremoooooooooooooos!!!!!

Comida tradicional a Buenos precios y con un estupendo servicio y atención al cliente, a pesar del gentío. Decoración auténtica, original. Quedan, por desgracia, pocas bodegas o restaurantes así, que mantengan la esencia y la calidad de siempre. Hemos estado muy agusto, gracias!

Stellar experience ! I was recommended this place by someone who’s been to Santander many times before, she told me “it’s a must!”. We hadn’t booked a table but the waitress very kindly found us a perfect spot after almost no wait on a Friday night. One of them recommended the Picón cheese with the anchovies, wow, it was delicious and completely unexpected ! We also had the Padron peppers and the Encebollado Bacalao. Everything was delicious !

Myself and two of my friends were spending our first night in Santander. We were recommended this restaurant from a bartender at a close by bar. From the second we walked in, we knew we had been led in the right direction. Despite how busy it was, the staff were still incredibly friendly and helpful. We don’t speak Spanish and they made the biggest effort to understand us. Our server was outstanding. Super friendly and helpful even though he was incredibly busy. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you are visiting Santander, this is a must visit.

First off, make a reservation. You can get a table but wait times may be very long. The food is great, especially for the price. We tried several plates, cheese platter, bacalao, bonito, alcachofas con jamon, and everything was delicious. Highly recommended (but please, make a reservation).

Spotted the place during lunchtime but the queue was huge at 1:30pm so we decided to come back at dinner. I would recommend to reserve a table otherwise you will be queuing even before the place opens. The blue cheese was simply amazing, best I ever had! The ox tail is fantastic too. We wanted to get some of the stew but they are only served during lunchtime. Highly recommend!

Can't recommend this place enough, the quality of the food for the price is incredible. We queued up just before opening and were lucky enough to get the last table, the place was packed with people at the bar getting a quick bite and drink. Atmosphere was brilliant. Well worth a visit.

We queued up to get a table to try the local mountain stew, it’s a large portion size that’s perfect for sharing. Check the menu for which stew is available on the day of the week you’re dining. Precious few chairs available on the alfresco tables, the locals engaged in a frenzied rush to grab chairs from an adjacent table whenever its occupants left.

A very popular place with great value delicious food and great service. We went at lunch and it was busy. We didn't book but didn't wait long for an available table. They have a selection of lunch time specials and a wide selection of larger sharing style tapas dishes. Can highly recommend the Morcilla and the meatballs, both are served with chips. We also enjoyed the croquettes and the Padron Peppers. We found all the staff friendly and attentive, even though it was busy.

Constantly busy, I had two tries before getting a table. Probably the best option is to make a reservation. Plenty of local people, and that is not a suprise. Superb vibe, gutted I havent tried more, but still. Medium plate of cheese, I recommend eating from the white, finishing with the Picon. Every is great, but picon is divine. Very strong and I may say-spredable. I decided to take croquetas caseras. Deep fried deliciousnes, filled with bechamel and two kind of meats in separte pieces. - amazing! I had a beer with the meal, so the portion was way to much for me. I took uneated rest for later. With addition of the cheesecake. Very stable, but smooth structure, with amazing contrast of sour top. Cheesecake was out of this world. Probably the best I havw ever eaten! Ivan, waiter which served us was helpful, and we spoke in english. He recommended me meat stew. Which I will definitely try, if there will be an occasion. It is a must visit in Santander!

Got this place recommended for traditional Cantabrian cuisine and it was very much so from food to atmosphere. Went at noon time on a Saturday, just after they opened. They weren’t ready to serve yet but I could put myself on the list and return in an hour. I was keen on their Cocido Montañés but they don’t serve that on Saturdays so had Cocido lebaniego instead. A double dish meal with both the 1st course soup and the meats on a chickpeas bed - pork, chorizo and morcilla(black pudding but way better). Very lively and full of locals.

Best meal of the trip. Incredible food, and amazing value for money. We don't speak Spanish, the waiter and waitress did, and where very kind to us. I found in a number of places, if you didn't speak Spanish, they weren't so helpful, not here. The food was amazing, huge portions, we ordered way too much, never a bad thing. Glass of house wine €1.30, are you kidding me. We had mixed meat platter, mixed Salad (which included Tuna, go figure), Morcilla (Black Pudding), Croquettes and Chorizo. As you can see the Black pudding and Chorizo came with chips, they were essentially full meals in themselves. Everything was amazing, special mention to the Black Pudding. I'm Irish, so I live Black Pudding, this one was pretty special. With 6 drinks, this meal, with tip, came to just over €50. This is INSANE. Amazing value for money. Great spot, amazing food, kind staff. Can't rate highly enough 🙏

This restaurant was my best experience in Santander. The dishes are simple but home-made, freshly prepared and served extremely fast (even when it's busy). Our waitress spoke good English and provided advise on our order. They open quite late in the evening, it is worth going there and wait at a table on the terrace if you have not made a reservation.

¡¡¡HACER RESERVA!!! Actualizado: Tienen un caos con el tema de la reserva, en Google aparece una página con un formulario de reserva que aparentemente no es de ellos. Así que me fui hice la fila y comí delicioso porque al final es un lugar con muy buenas raciones de comida casera. *Si tienen que mejorar el tema de las reserva porque al final éramos dos nos sentaron en una mesa para siete, y si nos hubieran preguntado felices hubiéramos dicho que si a compartir la mesa, porque sabíamos que había gente haciendo fila.
