I got the pho mai Cali without tripe and meatballs and the pho was amazing!!! It was so flavorful, it came out boiling hot, and the portion was more than enough! I also got the potstickers and the mango salad, loved everything! I highly recommend it

Great place to hang with family and friends for lunch or dinner. Food is fresh, service is fast and friendly, and the decor is modern and bright. We love coming here for the beef rib pho and bbq vermicelli bowl. Definitely recommend.

We love coming here. Quality food, and impeccable service. It deserves to be frequented. Doesn't ever seem to be busy when we are here, and it should be. Please give this restaurant a try. The egg rolls are on point, the Pho is warming and hearty, and the salad rolls are refreshing. My daughter, who is a picky eater, gobbles up her food.

My dining experience at Pho Mai Cali in Santee was exceptional from start to finish. The restaurant's inviting ambiance and friendly staff set the stage for a delightful meal. This is hands down the best Pho I've had in San Diego. Jaden and Faline were incredibly attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. They are as amazing as the food, and the food is phenomenal. The broth is perfect, absolutely perfect. I will be back, many, many times.

Hands down, the best Pho I've ever had. I ordered the P1 all the beef cuts with Oxtail, the A2 net egg rolls, and he ordered the P8 with well done and rare steak. The net egg rolls were amazing, perfectly golden, crispy, savory deliciousness with that beautiful vinegary dipping sauce. I preferred to eat them without lettuce and he did the opposite. We were both very happy. Next came his soup, I ordered another plate of veggies for myself, it was much needed. The P8 was the size of an extra large at most places. Next came my huge plate of meat, followed by a boiling hot broth in a granite bowl, and then a plate of perfectly cooked noodles. I mixed everything together, added my vegetables, and sauces and then the waiter came out with a roasted chili and garlic oil. That set it off! I split all of it between our two bowls. There was so much food! I have enough for another huge meal and full of meat. The broth is so rich and flavorful and I really enjoyed the chili and roasted garlic oil and chili paste. All of the meats were high quality and cooked perfectly. The meatball was like a delicious sausage. The oxtail was okay, but it was cooked until the bones were brittle and flaking. I'm sure it is used to flavor all of the broth, so I was expecting that. This is our new spot, no more across the street from the post office for us!

Felt bad arriving pretty late; 1945 when they closed at 2030. However it was a long day of flights and our hotel was far away and reviews for this place suggested it was excellent. I'd wager a guess I've eaten at at least 100 pho establishments in my time on earth and for sure this one ranks in the top 5. The food was great. The beef ribs were AMAZING and those deep fried buns were to die for. The prices are very fair and portions filling for most any adult. Most importantly the broth was rich and had a good mouth feel. Beefy but very light almost as clear as a consomme. Wish I lived in San diego so I could visit this more than once but gives me something to look forward to coming back for.

Man the pho here tasted so damn good.. im surprised that there ain't many customers... the 2 waiter is very nice.. 4sure we coming back here when we in San Diego

My wife and I eat here easily once a week. We celebrated NYE dinner around 6:30, and it was pretty busy. The owner and two other employees were quick and made sure everyone was seated, order was taken, and had what they needed at all times. Food took a little longer, as expected, but they were kind enough to bring out a complimentary order of wings that we got to try for the first time! Incredibly delicious, I was only able to take a picture after not before lol. We will be ordering them from now on as an appetizer! If you try any new pho restaurants in San Diego this year, make sure this location is at the top of your list!! Our go to orders are as follows: Signature pho, beef rib pho, shaking beef, Thai iced tea, Vietnamese coffee, watermelon smoothie, matcha latte, and now the wings. Huge thank you to the staff and ownership for such an amazing restaurant. We can’t wait for more meals this new year :)

I was so happy with All the authentic Vietnamese food here. Highly recommend coming here and trying something other than Pho ( which is also great) goi ga ( poached chicken) is my recommendation along with the fried pork Bao! Delicious. 5/5

Been here many times. Some actual good Vietnamese food. There is Chinese food mixed in the menu, but I just stick to the VN food. Their pho is good. Their salt & pepper wings are really good. It’s not like the S&P I usually have, but their still tasty as heck. Good place to eat. Go!

It’s the P3 Ha Noi style beef w fried garlic pho. We ordered: P1 Pho Mai Special ($19.99): Each item came out separately. A plate for meat, a bowl for broth, a plate for noodles and a plate for veggies. You pour the broth in yourself. Cool to try this once but I’m lazy and prefer it in one bowl. We also ordered a side of Dino bone ($15.99): Huge bone marrow which was all fat and tough cartilage. Looks good for show, but nothing for the tummy. P4 filet mignon pho ($17.99): We really enjoyed the pho broth which is better than most places. The filet was soft and thin. You get choice of large or thin vermicelli noodles. We got large. We always eat the bagel twists ($2.99) to dip with the pho broth. R1 Special combo rice plate ($16.99): pork, chicken, beef, shrimp, egg rolls was all flavorful. I just wished it was broken rice. N4 Special combo stir fry flat rice noodles ($16.99): This dish was average. I prefer more char but the protein portions were generous. The drinks looked tempting so we got marble coffee and taro coffee. Both are too sweet for my liking but very rich and creamy in coffee. They gave us a complimentary mini bottle of Martinellis apple juice on our way out. Plenty of parking in this plaza. We will be back to try other dishes.

Fairly new spot in Santee. Been here couple of times for lunch before making this review. Good Pho place and clean restaurant. In the beginning, I thought the service needed work but they have improved on that. However, overall menu is overpriced for what it is. There are better & cheaper Vietnamese restaurant options in San Diego, even in Santee. 3.3/5 ⭐️

Good Vietnamese restaurant, but a little pricey. Got the #6 Pho Dac Biet special combo of rate steak, fatty brisket, well done flank, Tendon, tripe, and meatballs. It was very tasty with a fair amount of meats. The broth was on the light side compared to the ox tail rich broth of other restaurants like Lucky Seafood. Also got the Bun Dac Biet special BBQ rice vermicelli combo of pork, beef, chicken, shrimp, and two egg rolls. It was very good, but had less than expected meat for the price. Update: Prices have drastically increased. Sadly, it is no longer worth the prices.

Avoid this place at all costs. We were there for almost an hour without being seated we got tired of waiting and left.There was a line of delivery drivers trying to pick online order arguing with the staff because orders are not ready . Absolutely horrible service. There were many open seats I understand that they are busy and can’t get to us atleast let us sit. I promise you that you will regret coming here.
