Came here on a whim before a show at Proctors because all the restaurants we saw first were crazy busy! But I just want to mention that the outdoor space is super cozy with fires and plenty of seating - and they have vegan options which was great for us! Just wanted to mention this as an option if anyone else runs into a last minute rush to find somewhere before an event in the area!

With a party of 8, I called ahead to ensure that we could be accommodated. Saving us several seating options, we were welcomed immediately, and were embraced by the great vibe. Our server/bartender couldn't have been more accommodating, seeking out my favorite vodka, and mixing an amazing cocktail. The food was hot, just right, and my gal with Celiac was thrilled with her Edison chicken strips. When we are back in the area, we will happily return. Thank you, Centre Street!

Enjoyed being in the Biergarten on a warm night but if it's your first visit, ask for an instruction sheet on how to get food & drinks here upon arrival. Really odd process that will take some energy to figure out because the guy in the navy suit isn't going to help you. Once that was settled, I will say the cider & house wine is just dandy and the food is good; I had fish & chips and that was great. The outdoor bartender and the food delivery folks were pros and helpful after my first impression of how this place works.

Service and drinks were excellent! Food was typical bar food. Sam was quick, friendly, and on top of everything. They have trivia playing on the TVs which was fun and kept us entertained on an otherwise quiet Monday evening. Good experience!

I'll be coming back, I'll say that up front. And not coming alone. I want to try more items on the menu. The medium boneless buffalo chelicken wings were better than tenders, a 6 piece was plenty. The medium was on the hot side. The poutine had actual curds, a plus but was a bit on the cold side. Still, I ate it all. Service is odd. You place your order with the bartender. And go pick it up when that thing vibrates on your table. Serves in little pans. A football, bar atmosphere that is contrary to my own vibes but not a shoutfest on a Sunday evening. I'm still sweating from the medium. Not bad.

We were a group of 6 from Canada. Randomly end went to this place. Worth it! Lots of beer choices, huge pizzas and tasty food.

It’s been so sad watching this place get stingier and stingier every year. 5 years their boneless wings were a great deal. Thick and saucy too. Just got them today and it’s half sauced chicken jerky. You can tell they are thin slicing chicken breast just to fry them into chips so they take up more of the box. Just embarrassing for whoever owns this place. Excited for the next 5 years!

Do Not Come Here. I came after work with a number of colleagues expecting a fun time. I bought a couple of drinks and then shortly thereafter went back up to the bar, made eye contact with the bartender, having brought up two empty glasses- and he walked away from me. He went down to the other end of the bar and served other people as they walked up to the bar, ignoring that I was still standing 15 feet away from him at the bar. He eventually made his way back toward my end of the bar- mind you it was not very busy- Told a few women to please go down to the other end where he had been so that they could pay their tab or set up a tab. He then eventually came to me. I told him what I would like, and before he made it, a man approached the bar. This man did not order a beer. He ordered a mixed drink. The Bartender prepared the mixed drink before making my drink. I asked the bartender if that was the owner to which he responded no. When leaving to pay my tab, I told him that I’d like to give him a little feedback on my experience. As I started to talk he walked away from me. I cannot imagine that you would walk away from someone who’s telling you they had a bad experience. Needless to say, I left a zero tip when I would’ve left at least $10 or $15

Such an unpleasant experience. As much as food and drinks were great, we opened a tab as anyone would wanting to have a nice night, expecting to pay the full bill at the end of the night. When going to pay the bill, $54 of our $76 was already paid (our card was charged).We were told it was a hold and would be released in days. As much as I understand why their policy is to hold, they never informed us that we paid all but two drinks so in reality we only owed $22 more. But because it was a hold we were expected to still pay the full $76. DISCLOSE this to your customers!!!!!!! We will never go again. Not everyone has hundreds sitting in their account. We would have been way better off paying for everything as we got it. Beware before opening a tab here!

Disappointed First Visit – Poor Communication & Service Timing Visited Centre Street Pub for the first time with my partner, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience. We weren’t aware there was no table service—you have to order and pick up food at the bar. No signage indicated this, and it took about 20 minutes before the bartender came over and explained. We ordered drinks (which my partner enjoyed), then asked for a pizza and fish & chips. We were told the pizza would take about 30 minutes, which was fine—we specifically asked for the fish & chips to come out with the pizza so we could eat together. The bartender said she’d let the kitchen know and offered an appetizer in the meantime. We ordered wings, expecting them to tide us over while we waited. Instead, the wings and fish & chips came out together within 10 minutes, and we were told the pizza was still in the oven. So we ate what was served, and the pizza arrived about 30 minutes later—after we’d already finished our meal. At that point, I left the pizza untouched and paid the bill. No tip, understandably. The food itself wasn’t the issue—it was the lack of communication and disregard for our request to time the meal properly. For a first visit, it left a bad impression.
