Being former residents of Scotia, we have loved Visco's for years. Now that we've moved about an hour away, we try to take advantage when we are in the area. At the advice of one of the girls, I'm planning to get a pizza bag, lol. Even cold, no one can beat Visco's pizza and wings!

I had heard that the pizza here was good and was not disappointed. For me most importantly the crust was cooked to perfection, crispy but not burnt. The pizza was delicious and I will be back to try different toppings.

We have certainly had our run ins with Visco's in the past (over charging, cold pizza, wrong orders, etc) but never had my family found a better pizza place. While we have an advantage living so close to the pizzeria, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Learning first names of frequent customers and not even questioning when my dad sends one of us kids to get the pizza speaks volumes about their family orientated atmosphere. With great pizza, wings and salad, they offer indoor seating with a 30-45 minute wait time on food. Take out and delivery from Visco's has been a life saving opportunity for my family and we greatly appreciate the entire staff of Visco's Pizzeria for their years of service to the pizza world 💕

I used to go to VISCOS Vley Road Pizzeria was I was a child. When I think of my favorite pizza VISCOS comes to mind. Not only are their prices great, but their sauce and their thick pizza dough are AMAZING as well! Every single time I order from them it’s ALWAYS consistent and actually fills up a family with only 2 slices per person (unlike 7 pieces at other local pizzerias) Personally I order their pepperoni pizza because it is family friendly, but I just learned that they have Fried Chicken Packed Buffalo Chicken Pizza!!!!! Mmmmmm….

Very good pizza. I've eaten alot of pizza around the Capitol Region, this is by far the best in the 518. Only got slices so cant review anything else on the menu but 110% recommend grabbing a pie. Wish I live closer this place would blow a hole in my wallet lol

Visco's has been my "old reliable" pizzaria since moving up here in 05. Closest NYC style in Scotia that I could find. Ann and Pat are the best!! They also support many local charities. Good food, good people. Must try! Get the House Pie 👍

Stopped here on a whim tonight. With only a little time to spare before they closed. Order pizza, knots and fried dough. Allowed us to stay and eat a little before closing. Everything was excellent. Not local for me, but would definitely stop here again when in the area.

My family and I have come here since 1990! The visco family are truly special people that have been making amazing food since forever. Their pizza, wings and calzones are delicious. They also sell slices for take out. Many scotia ma and pop shops have gone out of business, but I'm so happy they continue to do an amazing job. A true Scotia institution!

I was looking for a pizzeria that's similar to the real NYC pizza in the city, u know the cheese falling off the pizza when u bite into the slice then it's so cheesy that when u fold it oil from the cheese drips around your wrist. I LOVE everything about Visco's Vley Rd. Pizzaria, from their delicious food to their friendly staff! The best part of all is that they're right down the block!!! If I had to drive cross-town, I would. House pie to go please!

Great family run pizza place. Won't say their pizza is the best around because there are many styles and opinions out there. My family loves it though. If you order hot wings, you get good sized HOT wings! Very reasonable prices too. My order is always ready for pick-up between 35-40 min. Delivery is available too. They also have an assortment of ice cream for the kids.The Village Tavern is across the street if you want a refreshment while you wait. I've been a customer for over 25 years. Excellent food, friendly efficient staff. They make their own bread dough and breads, and they are out of this world. Mostly takeout (three small tables) and does delivery in Scotia.

Pizza was good. Could have been warmer, but thats not a big deal to me, it is a very cold night and i got delivery so not un expected. the wings were awesome . Ordered hot and they were HOT. I typically order hot from other places in town and they are more like mild in my opinion. But these did not disappoint. My wife said they were too hot but i thought they were perfect.

This place has always been pretty good, at least since I first went there a little over year ago, but recently they have been really on point. The food is excellent, the presentation and packaging is beautiful and their quantity to price ratio is good too. It's been so good that I've had to limit myself in trips to Visco's, so I'm not buying take out multiple times per week. I'd eat there everyday if I could. Chicken Parm dinner, large antipasto salad and fried dough is what I usually get, but I've tried about 3/4 of their menu. The previously mentioned order is around $30 and is a solid two meals worth of food. $15 for a quality and varied meal isn't a bad deal at all.

Some of the best pie in the capital region. Essentially just two guys working their tails off and they don't stop. Tony and Rob are true workers and their products reveal just that. Anything is good but the taco pizza is absolutely delicious.

There Calzones are the best I have had in over almost 3 years I live here. I would recommend you heat it up 45 sec still perfect.tge dough is so perfect almost towards end taste like a big pretzel.

Been going here for 20 years plus..our family loves the 24 cut square pizza,the dough is awesome and they have a great tasting sauce. My sister came from Florida and wanted their pizza..they stayed open and made the pizza for us as she was leaving the next morning.. awesome customer service

They got the super pie here! Biggest round I could find and order and I have had their pizza for several years. Seems family, close friend tight knit running business. Polite and I have never had any issues with them. If you want a NYC style slice their super round pie is the way to go.

I moved to Scotia about a year ago and have tried a few pizzerias nearby which were just ok. Yesterday I discovered Visco's which is only 3 minutes from me! I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and 2 other toppings, and it was one of the best I have ever had! Everyone has different tastes, but this was exactly how I like it. Crispy thin crust, sauce not too sweet, gooey cheese, and absolutely covered with very thin spicy pepperoni, yet not greasy. Less expensive than others I've tried with twice the amount of toppings. I can't wait to try more items on their menu.

The BEST pizza and wings in the Scotia area. Family owned and operated. The staff is great, been in business for a long time. Food is always hot, fresh and consistent. I have been a customer for at least 15 years. I have never had a problem here. I highly recommend Visco's if you want great pizza and wings!

I was pleasantly surprised as I am very picky about my pizza and they hit a home run. Top notch and very tasty. I also highly recommend the anti-pasta salad it was banging. My new go to.

BBQ pizza is an amazing invention. Ordered over the phone a few hours ahead of time, and they lady on the other side was more than happy to get me started. Went with one of their specialty pies, the BBQ Chicken Bacon Cheddar, going with a 6 slice for around $20. Pretty good so far. Pickup was easy, the thing smelled amazing, and I had it back home in a jiffy. Opening it up, it also looked fantastic. But what really matters is the taste, and thankfully, it did not disappoint. The pizza had great rigidity, just the right amount of sauce, the first bite confirmed it was full of good cheddar flavor, chunks of chicken, and bits of bacon all over. The bake on the pie was nicely done, resulting in a satisfying crunch. I polished off the 6 slices in less than an hour. Overall, great service, great pizza, good prices, a very worthy entry in my Friday dinners.

Visco Vley Road Pizzeria is one of the finer pizzerias around that I have experienced. Pizza is available by the slice, soda's and similar are also available. Chicken Wings exist from my understanding but I have not yet had the dish to determine their quality. Where they shine though is in their large pizzas; the crust is delicious and wonderfully baked with a bread like consistency, the sauce is perfectly balanced not too sweet and not too acidic, and the toppings are plentiful and of a good quality. I highly recommend this pizzeria if you are in the Scotia neighborhood. As luck would have it having moved to the neighborhood recently this was the first pizzeria we tried and I don't foresee us switching to a different one anytime soon.

Location: Located on a corner with ample parking for pickup. Correct amount of parking places for seating (only a few small tables) and pick-up traffic. Food Quality: Quality for fresh-baked pizza is higher than average. Sauce is unique and bursts with flavor, although at rare times can be inconsistent. Atmosphere: Building is clean. Mostly a pick-up and go style. Service: At times can be a bit disorganized, however, that is mostly a condition in family owned pizza shops. Price: Price is fair and reasonable. Price to Value is balanced. Highly recommended for pizza due to its originality of flavorable sauce.

I will first say their Buffalo wings are amazing truly one of the best wings I've had in a long time the pizza on the other hand was a bit dry as for a price goes it's a bit on the pricier end tho but food is decent for the most part

Opted for a calzone which was OK. Stromboli was OK. Garlic parmesan wings were disappointing, didn't taste like garlic or parmesan, otherwise just OK. Antipasto salad was great. The pizza looked good but we didn't order it.

Very nice mom-and-pop pizza place. Love the pizza. 100% if you try anything for sure try the pizza. Classic crust old school greasy. Love the fried dough. The powdered sugar could have been sifted better to give a better spread as some had chunks and others had none but the easy fix is to just shake up the container. The wings ordered were two different types of wings. The first batch was perfect the second batch where thick skinned fatty wings that just weren't as good as the first order. The staff seemed super nice which is always appreciated.

Many recommend their pizza. It's just "ok" - crust is a bit better than competition but cheese is.... weird (not entirely mozzarella- what? Cheddar idk). Barely any sauce

These guys are typically best in the glenville area, however the past 8months or so its been hit or miss. Wish there was more consistency. Some pizzas are fabulous and some are so over cooked you toss half of it out. Had to reduce from once a week to once every couple of months.

The food was good 2/1/2025, however I wish I was told there's a 10% charge with using your credit card, the customer should be aware of a charge before ordering with a debit or credit card.

Ok quality pizza but the prices seem to be almost double other pizza places.Almost $50 for a 24 cut with one topping,seems excessive.Also hit or miss service on who answers the phone.

Viscos used to have the best pizza in Scotia, but recently the pizza quality has gone down pretty badly. We order pizza from them at least 3 to 4 times per month and my family always eats the leftovers for the next few days. The last few times we have ordered, the pizza just sits in the fridge and no one will eat it. It has been very inconsistent and also lacking sauce which makes the pizza very dry. I love Viscos but the quality is just not there at the moment. I do not know if they switched pizza makers or what.

I call to place an order at 8:10pm. Web says still open, til 9pm. The woman who answered the phone answered like I just interrupted her a 100x over!, she was very rude. I asked to place an order and she was very frustrated and stated We are closed! If this is how the employees represent the business, and someone doesn't like their job, yeah, I want you making my food! I will never call for an order again! Times are hard enough !

when you walk in it smells like cigarettes and old carpets.. I was asked if I wanted my food hot it still came out cold.. When I made a complaint I was then asked "what was my problem" They only had 5 bags of chips in the story all different..the ice cream was full of freezer burn.they were smoking in the kitchen by the back door.they need to be closed down !!!

Wasn't impressed with the pizza that was luke when we picked it up. Lost my appetite for the second slice when I bit into a couple hairs mixed in with the cheese and sausage.

i have lived in scotia for 18 years and i ordered an 8 cut with extra cheese (not to be had) wings were hot not medium blue cheese out of a jar substandard food worst i have ever had going back to demarcos if your smart. at least there the owner always made good i guess it was the upcharge for a card which made me mad but i will just bring cash to demarcos. dont go to vley road their owner is unreasonable and their food is substandard

First thing-i have said to myself several times in the past "this is the last time i am ordering from this place-this is terrible"....but now this time i mean it. I ordered a pizza, was told 45 min, OK, it was a friday night-fine. I get there at the 45 min mark and then promptly wait 15min before i am even acknowledged by anyone. I give them the name and they then disappear to the back. A full 10 minues goes by before my pizza is brought out. There were several other people waiting in line and all of us had the same disgusting service given to us. I get that its a Friday night-but seriously, the old lady running the register needs to go. She CANNOT be working there any longer. She can't handle the pressure and is not nearly fast enough to be working at a pizza joint. I don't care about who she is or the 'charm' of having her around--its poor business. Run your pizza place like a BUSINESS not just something on the side and b/c its all you have ever known

Customer service keeps getting worse. Twice I have been at the counter for 4 to 5 minutes with people sitting in the back making eye contact with me, but doing notheing. Also, i have been asked to give them my pin number for my card so they can punch it in. Said no both times and asked to punch it in myself. This last time they proceeded to complain to me the whole time saying "you can't even use it without the card", and "I don't even remember my number" and finally, "you know, cash is acceptable too." Now I understand it that cash is acceptable and they have every right to refuse debit cards, but to ask me to give them my personal pin number and then harass you for not giving it to them is ridiculous. I will never go back there.

Absolutely the worst people have ever felt with and also can't admit they made a mistake, but also at the same time wanna charge you for there mistake instead of owing up to it. Sounds like horrible management and ownership

I've gotten food at viscos numerous times. Sometimes the slices are acceptable. The rest of the time you are either getting a slice that is fresh out and flops/drips all over your hand, or it was made hours ago and they give you the "2 for 1 special" but its inedible. The service is bad. The inside is dirty. Don't bother
