$33 combination lo mein and 2 egg rolls. The food is good but pricey. Egg rolls $5.50 each, WOW but good! Ordered to go. Service is quick and friendly. Easy parking. Nice dining room great large fish tank. I always order to go. Serving size is decent can easily feed two people.
This was our first time. We have our usual Chinese spot and it took a recommendation to get us to try something new. We're happy we did. When we walked in we had a bit of a wait to get our table, but there was a lovely fish tank we got to hang out with. Once seated, our service was impeccable and the food came quickly as we ordered. The drinks were great, especially the lychee martini. The lettuce wraps were a favorite and they way the kids got their sweet and sour chicken was a hit. We also loved that the brown rice was an option and cooked perfectly sticky.
I had a hankering for authentic Chinese cuisine and chose this place off the reviews. I had doubts immediately from the moment I walked in and was greeted by 2 cheery blonds. The decor was pleasant and I was hungry so... I went for it. To my surprise everything went perfectly. The shrimp dish was delish, they have a full bar with a nice variety of options and all the staff (not an Asian in sight) were attentive and professional. Roman, the GM stopped by each table to greet customers. Exactly the esthetic we need in the West Valley. A bit pricey, but worth it!
First time at this restaurant and choose it because of the overall reviews. I was not disappointed! This isn’t your local Chinese restaurant, but a beautifully decorated and upscale place. Don’t expect a huge menu, but they focus on what they do and do it right. Started with a Mia Tia that was very good and brought me back to the tropics. Had the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and it was served table side and was super tasty. The sauce was a bit salty, so use it sparingly. Had the four delight plate for dinner. It was a combo of chicken, pork, shrimp and scallops in a brown sauce with some veggies. Choose the brown rice to go with it and it was a great dish. Service was polite, professional and timely, especially on a busy Friday night dinner. The location is small and seems very popular with the locals, so make reservations if you want to be sure to get in when you want. Definitely a must try if you’re looking for a quality experience in Scottsdale. 👍👍 up!
Hands down best Chinese food in town. Excellent customer service. General Tso chicken and BBQ ribs are a must to try. If you like Flo’s, will certainly love Jade Palace.
The best. Just like NY Chinese. Great huge Eggrolls,NY chicken chow mein with chicken & celery as it should be. Their Kung Pao with steak, shrimp & scallops is amazing. Egg drop soup, the four seasons meal is amazing.Karen, the Mgr who we like,Leon,Hector & Stephanie,Bella, are awesome.
Found through Google reviews and it was completely worth it. If you are visiting Phoenix it takes some time to get there bit I highly recommend it. Pecking duck was amazing, portions are big and service is friendly and fast.
Such a nice intimate dinner. The food was fantastic. The waiter gave us the quiet time for our date. The wine was delicious. Totally worth date night again and again. Except my fortune cookie didn't have a fortune! Lol!!
Stopped by with a couple of friends for the first time and was pretty impressed. The place was super tidy, the waitress was very friendly/helpful & the food was great! I ordered the pepper chicken and it had lots of flavor with the brown sauce. I've driven by this place many times and finally got a chance to stop in. Will be back for more! Thank you!
Very tasty Chinese food here. Sting beans are tender and delicious. Hot and sour soup is highly recommended.
Excellent service and food. The owner is a great host and knows how to treat customers. Very good restaurant. Top notch even in this area of great restaurants. Definitely returning.
It's always awesome! We're there at least once a week. It's more of a nice Chinese restaurant than just Chinese food. I usually don't even like Chinese food, but this place is not typical. It's very different. Pure, healthy and hearty.
We have looked for a “go to” Chinese spot for years now. And thankfully, my goodness, we finally found it!! Jade Palace is a must try, we got the steamed potstickers, Mongolian Beef & the Double Dragon entrees + a bottle of wine. All of it was so good, we debating taking the last bit as leftovers and both went: it’s too good not to finish fresh. Emma was our fantastic server and we will be back again soon for sure! 10/10 recommend. Thank you!
My server: Maddie O. The food was fresh and great!
This place hasn't failed me yet. My husband and I love their fried rice and roasted duck.
I have been eating at Jade Palace for years, but haven’t done a review. Best Chinese food in the world. Usually sit at the bar. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. If you haven’t been there, you need to try it.
Jade Palace consistently serves excellent food. While I’m not typically a fan of chicken fried rice or fried rice as an entree, Jade Palace is an exception.
Love me some Jade Palace! In my experience have always been consistent. Very good Chinese food I believe one of the best in the valley. Give it a try.
The Jade Palace is our favorite restaurant for chinese food. The quality is hard to beat. Always a good meal, well worth it.
Very good, nice service, very nice fish tank inside. Delicious kungpao and roasted duck !!
This is some of the best chinese style food i've had in very long time. Delicious and beautifully presented. Service was great but this restaurant gets busy and can be a bit crowded and noisy but it's worth it.
Really our favorite restaurant for Chinese fair - we were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. Waitress was prompt, courteous and friendly - drinks and then food arrived very quickly. Love their Moo shu pork, orange chicken and small serving of pork-fried rice - plenty for two of us. Their quiet acoustics were a welcome change from the many “loud” restaurants out there. Not cheap but not outrageous - $100 incl nice tip we felt was good value for a great experience.
Great restaurant, always consistent. Bartender is great and Leon is the best. I also order take out once a week and there has NEVER been a screw up with everything being perfectly hot and delicious. Dawn
Jade Palace is my #1 favorite Chinese restaurant! Linens on the table is such a luxury! Their Egg Rolls are HUGE and delicious. Their Hot and Sour soup is so good. We love going here and feel the 27 mile trip is so worth it. During the "off season" you can get a table without a reservation but, once our winter "snow birds" arrive back in the Valley, reservations are a must on the weekends. It's so nice to have the Manager stop by your table to check in on you too. Always makes us feel "special." Thank you for always taking such great care of us and our guests.
Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and answered every question my friend visiting from out of town had about the menu. The lights were a bit too bright for dinner but good volume and overall nice experience and the food was excellent!!
Great high-quality food at competitive prices. Being from the NY area and growing up with great Chinese food, I never thought it would be hard to find that great taste again. Jade Palace is excellent in their ability to consistently serve excellent quality foods with superior service.
I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps as an appetizer and the Chow Fun Beef as dinner. Both dishes had a gluten free alternative sauce available! I really enjoyed them both, the Chow Fun however really impressed me! It's savory and flavorful while also subtle!
This place is amazing!! Leon was extremely friendly and super welcoming 11/10 on the food, service and atmosphere! Amazing bourbon selections, reasonable prices and the best New York style Chinese you’ll ever get in Arizona! I can’t wait to go back.
Great tasting food with generous servings. The staff were all helpful and very friendly. Nice clean dining area. Big aquarium when you walk in. Might need a reservation during the weekend, otherwise lots of seating.
My wife and I had such a great dinner at Jade Palace recently. We stopped in for a casual meal at the bar and ended up having the best time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with that true neighborhood feel that makes you want to come back. I ordered the scallop trio, which was fantastic — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The owner even helped me choose a wine, gently steering me toward a better option, and he was absolutely spot on. Everything about our experience, from the food to the service, was exceptional. I’d definitely recommend Jade Palace for anyone looking for great food, great people, and a genuinely enjoyable evening
This is one of the best meals and experiences of my life! Leon is the best host and the staff were absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to return wish I could give a higher rating!
I love the delicious dishes at Jade Palace! The chicken Chow Fun is one of my favourites! The hot mustard here is legit and wonderful with the appetizers. It's consistently great food every time I go!
Always a pleasure here and the food is very good. I love the owners passion for whiskey too! Feels like family there. Shout out to the lovely employee with the pink hair. She is awesome.
Best Chinese food in the area! I drive from Surprise every two weeks. Schezwan chicken is so delicious. I don't usually like spicy foods but it is so good!
We ate there tonight for the first time. Came out from Mesa, AZ. Food excellent; service stellar (our server was Kathy - young lady with blue hair - a sweetheart), relaxing atmosphere. Definite 5 stars...JH
Went In On Friday At About 2pm. Not Many People There, Big Place Great For Family Events. Beautiful From The Entrance With The Large Fish Tank Holding Tropical Fish. The Walls Detailing Was Comforting .. Tablecloths With Cloth Napkins. We Sat In A Booth Near The Back. The Glass Wall With Large Faberge Eggs With Chinese Artwork On Them Were Very Timeless Eye Candy's.. The Service Was Very Kind And The Heated Plates Were A Pleasant Touch To The Meal... We Had To Have The New York Egg Roll Loved It. Being From Brooklyn... We Ordered The Grand Marnier Shrimp With Walnuts Was Delicious! Also The General To's Chicken A Sweet And Spicy Dish... We Enjoyed The Our Meal Totally.
I came with a friend while in Scottsdale for business. This place has nice ambiance and good service. A bit on the pricy side, the food taste good but not traditional authentic Chinese food. That being said, maybe it is the best of what’s Scottsdale has to offer as far as Chinese food is concerned.
Dined in on the scallop and steak, which included water chestnuts, and snow peas. I selected brown rice over white rice, which came with the plate. The 'oyster sauce,' turned out to be almost a glaze. See, I enjoy dumping the savory, saucy part of the meal over the rice. Instead of pouring, the 'sauce' turned out to be almost a glaze. I was able to scrape some of it from the sizzling dish onto my plate, but it did nothing to stick the rice to itself. The scallop and the steak were cooked perfectly and the sauce's flavor profile was quite tasty. However, the snow peas were overcooked and had lost the qualities that make snow peas a delicacy. The brown rice was al dente. It did not want to stick to itself. In my mind, Chinese rice should be soft. The brown rice was also very bland. The owner (I assume) dressed down one employ very publicly. "Praise in public. Discipline in private." Otherwise, you come across as boorish and petty. Oh, but he had plenty of civil talk for the quite pretty employee. Prices weren't bad for my meal. I didn't have anything alcoholic but the bartender was biddable concerning my drink needs - and dietary restrictions. Recommended - if you want to impress shallow friends. Otherwise, Not Recommended. I hate not recommending because the place is a shade away from being really good. Get to work, people!
The waitress messed up the order, but got out the food so it was still hot and tasty, the buss girl.did mpre for us than our waitress sid, though. So we tipped her instead, and i always had to ask for a refill of my Arnold Palmer drink, which was also taken care of by the buss girl. Food was very good , though
We've always heard great things about Jade Palace so were really excited to finally try it. I ordered pickup on their website which was very easy and my food was ready in 20 minutes on a busy Saturday night. The girl at the front was super organized and friendly so 5 stars for their pickup order process! Unfortunately we were a little let down by the food. It was a little on the pricey side. $6.00 for one New York Egg Roll, although it's much larger than your average egg roll, is still way too much. The protein dishes are much more expensive than some other nice comparable Chinese restaurants in the area by $5-$6 each dish which definitely adds up. The New York Egg Roll and BBQ Pork Fried Rice were pretty good. The Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Orange Chicken were good but not great. Due to the prices and food not living up to the hype, I don't think we'll be back. But, they do have lots of other options on the menu that may have been better.
I visited Jade Palace on December 25th for dinner. Having a reservation made the experience smooth—we were seated quickly, and the staff, including the manager, were incredibly friendly and attentive. Due to the holiday, the menu was limited, which was understandable. The drinks, however, were a highlight—absolutely delicious and crafted with care. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the same quality. I’ve only ever ordered their pork fried rice for takeout before, which has always been stellar, but this visit was underwhelming. The wontons were decent but plated oddly and without much thought. The "egg roll" was massive but awful—mostly shredded cabbage with barely any filling, just a few bits of sausage-like meat and unpleasant mini shrimp. The two main dishes we tried were also subpar, lacking flavor. Adding to the disappointment, the black tablecloths were covered in lint, and the overall furniture and atmosphere felt outdated and in desperate need of renovation and/or redecorating. While the drinks and service were excellent, the food and ambiance fell short of expectations. With some improvements, Jade Palace could shine again.
Good food but over priced for what you get, ordered the larger portion short ribs, got 6 ribs they were good but 28. Then ordered the Mongolian beef to get 4 big pieces of beef and a plate full of onions at 23. I will look to try something else before coming back.
Food isn’t bad but the pecking duck should not be worth 65+ for what they give… so disappointing… doesn’t even come with buns, came with wonton chips and tortillas were added to my bag. Won’t be back. Great place for older rich folks who don’t know much about Asian cuisine.
The food quality went down. Also, as soon as we walk in to the restaurant, the manger instead of welcoming us, she said you are not allowed to bring water bottles inside the restaurant. This is so rude and impolite. Specially living in Arizona if you leave the water bottle inside the car, it gets so hot. I use to be fan of this restaurant but not any more.
Visited 26 April 2025 to celebrate a special occasion. My daughter and I became ill after 24 hours with a stomach virus. We had the chicken fried rice, which wasn’t visually appealing and didn’t taste great. Aside from the food and becoming ill. The service was great.
I’m a regular here for 5 years. This was the worst experience I’ve had at this establishment . The portion was half the size it used to be. The vegetables in Szechuan shrimp had no seasoning and were uncooked. The fried noodles were stale. And the egg roll was also half the size they usually are. I’ll go to Panda express next time, better tasting and better value
This restaurant (shea location) has delivery drivers more than confirm an order for pickup (3 buttons total) and requires them to push the ready to go to stop button ( 4th button) which voices the address of the recipient, which creates a safety concern for the driver as well as a safety and privacy concern for the customer. If the driver tells the staff this button is for the driver, they not only refuse to give the driver the food order, but then marks the drivers profile as bad professionalism with the business for protecting their own safety and the safety and privacy of the customers. I would not recommend ordering online with this store if you want your safety and privacy compromised.
Placed an order at 4:15 today (Christmas Eve). They forgot the order when we came to pick it up at 5:00. They said it would be another hour and they'd call when it was ready. They strung us along until about 7:30. We canceled the order the third time they claimed it would be 30 minutes. So much for Christmas Eve dinner.
Not sure what is going on with this place, used to be excellent. Third take out in a row that was poor and this time disgusting. Egg rolls were mushy, the beef chewy and the green beans cold. Three strikes and I'm out. Way to expensive for lousy food.
The unfortunately is that I love their food. I have tried to use Uber eats with this entity twice each time failing I even called the general manager of the store on the Shea. I spoke to the general manager he assured me that they were correct the problem because Uber eats delivered an Italian dinner to our home. At a point if IShea. I spoke to the general manager he assured me that they were correct the problem because Uber eats delivered a Italian dinner to our home. At a point if I own this company, I would certainly want to know what my customers feel.
