Arrivederci in Scottsdale was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, it felt like we had found a small piece of Italy right here in Arizona. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was incredible. Everything tasted freshly made and full of authentic Italian flavor. You can truly tell they put care and quality into every dish. If you’re craving real Italian food in Arizona, I highly recommend Arrivederci. We will definitely be coming back!
I wish that 10 stars were available so that I could give them.! Italian food is my favorite and you can tell by the perfect amount of sweet that this marinara sauce is a secret family recipe.. I could’ve eaten the pesto off the spoon without the Italian bread that melts in your mouth it was so good.. Fantastic atmosphere and service as well..
PERFECTION!! My absolute favorite restaurant in the valley. The modest exterior hides a true Italian gem. Authentic Italian cuisine that Nonna would approve of. We have dined here numerous times (would be far more if we weren’t a 45 min drive away) and each time our experience is nothing short of perfection. The food is amazing! Service is highly attentive. The decor is beautiful. I cannot highlight any dish in particular since everything we have tasted is stellar. Instead I recommend going hungry and trying as much as you can. We just love Arrivederci Ristorante!
I cannot say enough good things about this place! The food was amazing, the service was top notch (especially Eddie and Angelo). The place makes you feel right at home. We will be back!
Arrivederci Ristorante has been a Scottsdale staple for 25+ years. Homemade Traditional Italian food just like going to Nonna’s house. Everything is made fresh in house. Arrancini always cooked to perfection. Fresh baked Italian bread. Gnocchi made in house. Great wine selection. Can’t leave without having the Tiramisu! Tammy was so warming and provided impeccable service always coming around ensuring my wine glass was full. Good size portions and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and homey. The staff was very friendly and sweet, they definitely made it feel welcoming. They even provided limoncellos in between courses! We had the ravioli, short ribs, an espresso and both the cannoli and chocotiramisu and everything was delicious. We are already planning the next time we visit!
You’ve got to check this place out if you haven’t already. The food is incredible, especially the cheese ravioli with vodka sauce and the seabass, and the lemon cheesecake is a must-try. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home.
Such a lovely experience!! Handmade pasta is to die for. Service was great! Felt like such an authentic Italian restaurant.
Delicious food, dining portions are moderate. We tried ravioli, eggplant and peeni pasta.
the pesto is unreal—the best i’ve ever had. if you are in town, do not miss this place as a stop! great cabernet sauvignon and they gave us limoncello at the very end. so worth the money—service was amazing
I love everything about this restaurant, i knew my by second visit that it would be favorite Italian place. I never liked cannolis until I had them here and I'll never eat them anywhere else.
Excellent ambiance, service and food. On point with pricing. The pesto aioli and warm bread was the best I’ve ever had! I ordered the rolled eggplant with 4 cheeses, fettuccini and Alfredo on all. Delicious- although heavy. We split a Caesar salad- they split it with out even asking. Arrivederci Cabernet was excellent, nice pour for $9. My B had linguini and clams. Finished with chocotiramisu for dessert and a complimentary shot of limoncello.
Real authentic Italian food and service. The place feels very welcoming and family owned. They remembered me from my reservation. The food was amazing, you have to get the fried calamari, very fresh and excellent. The wine is good, and the dessert was to di e for!!
The salmon piccata is delicious! The salmon tastes extremely fresh and was cooked to perfection. The pasta is from scratch, and the sauce was very buttery. The host, Eddie, was very welcoming and friendly at the door, and our server, Aaron, was very knowledgeable on the menu and helped us pick the best! The melanzana arrivederci was long slices of eggplant rolled and stuffed with cheese, no other eggplant parm will compare from now.
The authentic Italian taste incredible! It’s honestly better than the restaurants I visited while in Italy! You know it’s going to be good when the staff is mostly Italian! We went in at 6pm on a Friday service was quick and staff was friendly. We’ll be back for sure.
Came with my son, also a foodie, when wife and rest of kids were away. Pesto was on the table when we were seated. Had water and bread rolls within 60 seconds. The pesto was DELICIOUS — aromatic but not overly bitter (e.g., from too much basil); exactly the right level of salt. And with with their bread, it was kind of an appetizer all to itself. We had Fried Calamari as an appetizer, then shared Scampi over Linguine (a special tonight), and Chicken Parm… EVERYTHING everything was done perfectly (no joke). Service was OUTSTANDING. I am ashamed — we’ve been in the valley for 5+ years now, and this was our first time here. Will DEF Be back!!! 5/5, WOULD HIGHLY Recommend. NOTE: we arrived at ~5:30 in a Saturday eve and were asked if we had a reservation. We didn’t, but we were seated right away anyway. But it’s now coming up on 7:00, and the dining room is essentially full. So, I’d call ahead next time… just to make sure they can accommodate us. Happy new year, all.
Love this family owned restaurant. The menu is great, love chicken parmigiana, & pasta. They also make real Tiramisu (means pick me up) Coffees at great it is Lilly.
Was referred to this establishment as authentic Italian. My wife and I have been to Italy and have tried Italian cuisine. I will say that this is the closest thing to Roma or Florence in terms of food you will get! We had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and Chocolate Tiramisu. Thank you for the great hospitality and great food! Would HIGHLY recommend.
Great little Italian restaurant! Light and great food. We got the Caesar salad, the pasta puttanesca and a sandwich. Everything was great and the prices are fairly cheap!
We had a very nice time here for dinner. Calamari was good with some zucchini mixed in. Service was attentive and friendly. Our first visit but will go again when in the area.
Truly fantastic service and authentic Italian food. Our server helped us pair a wine choice, we loved the atmosphere, and desert was to die for!
Delicious homemade italian food, service is excellent. Our dinner was great.
This place has super authentic Italian food. Food was amazing! And the service was great.
We were visiting from out of state and found this on Google. It is fantastic!! The service is so friendly; The manager was our server and he cares so much about the quality of the menu. Our food was fresh, served hot, and delicious. The fresh pesto served with the bread was lovely. Very charming and we highly recommend
Wonderful authentic Italian menu, fabulous staff. We go multiple times when in Scottsdale. Edoardo is the man!
Had a great experience here. The food was wonderful, the drinks were tasty, and there was an extensive wine list. Eduardo took amazing care of us and was a great host. We loved the complimentary limoncello at the end as well!
Christmas Eve dinner. Such a family fealimg here. Food is excellent and service is wonderful.
The food was absolutely fantastic, authentic, and filling. We got the carbonara and the penne vodka, both were fantastic. The pesto with the complementary bread is some of the best I've had. They also gave us a free Limoncello at the end. The service was very friendly, very personable. Only downside is the wait for the food was long, but not enough to go down to 4 stars and the food was worth it
Wandered in one evening when most restaurants were too busy. They found a table for me. Food and service were excellent. Better than the big name restaurants. Seems family owned. Will be back soon.
We tried this place for the first time and it was amazing! The food was so good, best authentic Italian I have had. People there are so nice and helpful. We went for lunch and can not wait to try it again for dinner!
I think possibly the best Alfredo I have ever had. My wife had the carbonara & had nothing but good things to say about it. Service is just right, not hovering but everything when we needed it. Food took a few minutes to arrive because it was being prepared from scratch.
Wonderful service and food for my fiancés birthday dinner. Their homemade limoncello is divine and their food is fresh and delicious. 100% would come back here with my family. Thank you for a wonderful dinner! Tammy our sever was the best and very sweet!
Linguini vodka with scallops and shrimp was unreal. The pesto oil for the bread was amazing too.
if you’re looking for your go-to italian dine in restaurant, look no further. my friends and i tried this place a few months back and have been going every month since. the service is AMAZING as the servers are so attentive and kind. every worker does what they can to make you feel comfortable and cared for. it is hard to find a place so consistent and arrivederci is the place to find this. not to mention, the food is incredible and always served fresh. also, the drinks are amazing as they have many to choose from. please go here for an amazing experience!
No words. The best Italian in town hands down, and I have been to many Italian restaurants over here in the valley! The food is amazing. We will definitely come back.
Consistently heavenly, this was the 3rd time for me. Spaghetti Carbonara, cooked fresh to your order, won't help you loose weight, but the pleasure is worth it.
Being from just outside of Boston and traveling this beautiful country for work I thought I knew Italian until meeting Eddie tonight! Food was beautifully prepared, delicious, and culture only known to the Italians. Thank you for feeding us tonight Eddie and family and will never ever forget your special space!
My favorite! We had the special and the clapping. The calamari appetizer was perfect!
Honestly the best little Italian restaurant. The food is amazing. The service is amazing. I can’t say enough about how very good the food is!
Went there with my husband tonight and had the best experience. The staff are so incredibly warm and welcoming. I don’t know if this is a family owned place, but it very much has that vibe. Homemade pasta was really delicious. Great food, great people. Add this to your local spot rotation, it’s a new staple for us!
We felt like family from the moment we walked in and the waitress knew who we were from chatting on the phone about a reservation to the very end, where we were handed a dessert to go with a smile. Everything we had was homemade, and you could definitely tell they put a lot of care and love into the meals they serve. We ordered the chicken Alfredo and the pesto gnocchi (best gnocchi we have ever had!) We will definitely be back.
Had a great experience! The pasta was delicious and authentic. Enjoyed every dish😄
Highly recommend. Family run. Reasonably priced. Food was excellent. Friendly service. Brought bread to start with a pesto spread. Owner/manager visited our table a few times. Even gave us an after dinner limoncello. Very kind.
Absolutely a great experience all around starting from the bread and pesto dip. We had the seafood risotto, clams and pasta and seafood cioppino. All cooked to perfection with generous portions. Lunch came with minestrone soup or salad. One of the best Italian restaurants I have been to since I moved here from New Jersey 12 years ago. Our waiter Aaron was very attentive. Would highly recommend
Being of Italian descent, I’m extremely picky about my Italian food, and this restaurant did a lot of things right, but there are notes. The pesto and bread service was outstanding. The bread was warm, crusty, and fresh, and serving pesto instead of olive oil was super smart and delicious. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. Same for the cioppino. The sauce made you want to lick the bowl. The problem in both seafood dishes was the seafood, which is unfortunate. The squid was overcooked and chewy. The scallops were rubbery. The mussels were tiny. The shrimp were good, but couldn’t save the dishes. Loved the complimentary glasses of limoncello. As for dessert, the Italian cheesecake was outstanding, but why the American graham cracker crust?? That is not authentic and doesn’t belong there. After removing the bottom, I thoroughly enjoyed it. We were the only ones there for lunch on a Monday, and the service was great. Loved our server, and the place is cute. I would definitely go back and try dishes without seafood because the flavors were amazing.
Local mom and pop Italian spot... It's like an older restaurant, with a lot of loyal locals.... This means they're doing something right. Their menu is pretty accurate by way of description to taste bud. For quality Italian food, you won't be disappointed.
Haven’t been there for a while, but I had to go see Eddie today. He and Annamarie definitely make this place happen. They have a great vine selection, hot roll, and lemoncello. They used to have really good pesto with lots of flavor and I believe it used to be homemade but now it taste like it is jarred and very oily.My food was OK didn’t have much flavor I had to ask for some tomato sauce and seasoning.
We were visiting from out of town and this restaurant popped up on Instagram prior to our trip, so we were excited about visiting. Upon arrival, the place was pretty busy, creating a nice atmospheric "buzz". Hostess greeted and seated us, using Italian pleasantries, which was a nice touch. Bread service and our waiter, Eddie, were prompt to address us. Both pasta dishes were very good. All in all, a good experience. I just wished I wouldn't have gone to the bathroom before I left. It was SOOO filthy! There were tampon wrappers on the floor, feces on the inside wall of the toilet bowl, mirrors were a mess, but the worst was the floor, and the layers of thick grime, which extended all the way to the baseboards. Just utter filth, that clearly had not been addressed in a while. I could not help but think that if this is the way they are keeping VISIBLE parts of their restaurant, how must the kitchen look, where our food was being prepared. I told my husband and we both agreed that we would be hard pressed to revisit because of this. It's a shame because we have a rental property in Gilbert, and we visit this area often for Spring Training, etc. It would have been nice to have another "go to" restaurant. I hope they can rectify this and begin doing more regular and thorough cleaning, so as not to lose more business. :o/
Expensive Italian restaurant. It was packed when we came. Not many kids. They give you water & bread with some green dipping sauce. I asked for butter & the bread was fresh. The bread was delicious. I got the ravioli, it was okay, only 4 pieces of ravioli comes with it. My sister got the chicken alfredo & we asked no mushrooms & it came with mushrooms. My brother got a Ceasers salad it was so small for $9. We came to try it out. There's a Groupon if you want to as well.
Just had the worst valentines experience of my life, this server was incredibly rude; I was nothing but cordial and nice so I’m not sure if they’re just having a horrible day and taking it out on me? I wanted to make my wife happy and have a great night as she deserves but now it’s been soured by this egregious behavior. The manager needs to reel this behavior in immediately unless this entire place is junk perhaps? Very disappointing, customer beware
