We were visiting from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Toca Madera Scottsdale ended up being the standout restaurant of our entire trip. The moment we walked in, the atmosphere hit us — immersive lighting, incredible music, and a vibe that makes the whole place feel alive. The real star of the night was Alejandro, our server. He was phenomenal from start to finish. His timing, recommendations, and genuine enthusiasm made the experience feel effortless and elevated. Every dish he suggested was a knockout, and his attention to detail made us feel truly taken care of. What Made It Unforgettable Alejandro’s exceptional service: warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. A high‑energy atmosphere: the perfect blend of luxury and vibe. Food and cocktails that impressed every time: beautifully crafted and full of flavor. A full‑experience restaurant: not just a meal — a whole mood. By far the best restaurant I’ve been to. Toca Madera delivered an unforgettable night, and Alejandro made it truly special.

We had a great experience! Our server Breagan was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Jesse was also incredibly helpful and quick to keep the table cleared and reset. The whole team made our visit smooth and enjoyable for my birthday. We’ll definitely be back!

On my last day in Scottsdale, I stopped at Toca Madera and honestly, I can’t stop thinking about it—it was the perfect way to close out the trip. We went for breakfast but also tried the fresh tuna, and oh my gosh, everything was so flavorful and beautifully presented. Our server was amazing—super sweet, attentive, and full of great recommendations that made the experience even better. The drinks were also spot on: tasty, refreshing, and with just the right amount of alcohol. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous—such a chic, stylish vibe that works whether you’re coming for brunch, a date night, or even just to enjoy great food with friends. It’s one of those places where the food, drinks, and atmosphere all come together perfectly. If you’re in Scottsdale, Toca Madera is a must-visit. Whether you’re with someone you love (or don’t!), it’s worth the experience. Definitely a highlight of the trip.

Upscale. Romantic. Luxurious feel. Great food and ambiance. Clean restrooms. Loved the brownie dessert with ice cream. My friend was getting married this past weekend and she had us meet here for dinner. We all had a great time! Follow my IG for more: lublyyally

Went to Toca Madera Scottsdale after dinner at Francine and loved the vibe. It immediately reminded me of trendy fusion places with a sleek atmosphere and high energy. The space is spacious with great entertainment, a lively crowd, and lots of good looking people. It feels very Scottsdale and more like a social scene than a traditional restaurant, which makes it perfect for continuing the night after dinner.

I saw a lot of ppl raving about the spot on TikTok so I just had to try it for my birthday. It definitely did not disappoint. I got the tomahawk and the presentation as well as taste was excellent. I normally don’t like truffle but the macaroni was delicious and so was the street corn. Drinks were cute and poured generously. Service was top notch as well. And to seal it all with a bow they also give military discounts. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try

First time here and loved it! We got the guac appetizer, ribeye steak, 4 tacos (bass was the best), and the street corn. Loved everything (albeit the street corn was a little undercooked). For desert you HAVE to try the butter cake. Amazing, best in the valley. Amazing presentation, superb service, great time!

Toca Madera in Scottsdale is absolutely stunning. Not only is the food incredible, but the atmosphere is an experience on its own — they have fire dancers and a live electric guitarist who walks around the tables while you eat. I ordered the Wagyu steak carne asada fajitas and they were perfection. Elenni recommends the sea bass and the al pastor tacos. Our server, Alejandro, was fantastic and really made us feel taken care of. I’ll definitely be returning. ✨🔥🎸

This restaurant is amazing. Our server Bradly was super nice and very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were incredible. The atmosphere WOW!! So much fun. Great experience. Make sure to make reservations

I thought we took more pictures! 😅 but definitely will be back and post more. I had been here before but never for brunch. Brunch was GREAT! Had the avo toast and it was delicious 😋 honestly, it was way bigger than I expected. My friend and I could have shared it and been full. We also got the bottle of champagne deal 🍾 and we loved it. We would have loved if the dancers were out during brunch.. it was definitely a quieter vibe than we expected. But still would go back!

We found a reservation online last minute. The atmosphere is gorgeous and there was performances involving fire breathing! The food was delicious and full of flavor. The craft cocktails had great presentation and taste. I hope you save room for dessert because that butter cake was melt in your mouth perfection.

Amazing food, the atmosphere is a little moody. The live action, the music, the service really ties everything together. This dinner comes with an experience! An expensive restaurant for sure but the food is really top notch. No complaints

Taco Madera is truly a gem! One of the first things I appreciated is that their menu has no pork, which makes it such an inclusive dining spot for everyone. Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and crafted with real care. The Branzino fish dish was my favorite—very fresh, the fish is so flaky and just tastes delish. The Shishito Peppers were also incredibly tasty. My husband got the Chicken Hot Rock with Street Corn and both were mouthwatering. The variety makes it easy to find a new favorite dish each visit. The atmosphere is just as memorable as the food. The decor is vibrant and stylish, creating a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger and enjoy. Whether you’re going out with friends, family, or even on a casual date night, Taco Madera nails it with both food and ambiance. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great flavors, a thoughtful menu, and an amazing overall dining experience!

Beautiful atmosphere and great service. We ordered the 6 oz wagyu each and the meat was really rich and perfectly cooked. Worth it

Came late for a birthday reservation but they was still eager to serve us, waited about 15min if that. Was initially seated at a not so great table because of foot traffic, but one of the workers offered us a better bigger table. Services was great and food was amazing, I had the tacos, the branzino was amazing and the mash and Mac was good. Wine selections was great, nice bar, great atmosphere, grown and sexy, pretty for pictures. And gave us dessert for the birthday girl, wonderful experience.

It’s one of ma favorite places, always satisfied with the food and the service. Tres lettches desert always blows my mind, music is always great there. I always enjoy the drinks as well.

Toca Madera Scottsdale never disappoints. I love their food and the vibes are always high. It’s my favorite spot for dinner before a night out, and it’s perfect for big groups or even just grabbing quick drinks at the bar.

I had my Birthday dinner here and Toca Madera in Scottsdale did not disappoint. From the food, to the staff to the atmosphere, everything was top tier. I would definitely go back again!

Four of us, first timers, Sunday June 8th at 3pm for a late brunch. What a heck of a great time! Food was fantastic, cocktails even better, and the whole afternoon was made even more special due to the great service of our waitress, Haley. When we told her we were first timers and asked for suggestions, we quickly offered to order for us! She asked if anyone had any allergies, were okay with certain food types, etc… then put together just the best two hours. Many thanks and great work to Haley and the whole team, we will be back!!

Toca Madera in Scottsdale is where upscale dining meets nightlife, and our recent visit was short of unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, we were completely taken by the atmosphere—glamorous yet cozy, with flickering fire features, moody lighting, and lush greenery that felt both luxe and inviting. It’s the kind of place that immediately sets the mood for something special. We started the evening with the Green Tea Fire Shot, which lived up to its name—warm, smooth, and the perfect spark to kick things off. Then came the watermelon margaritas with a Tajin rim and watermelon - refreshing with the perfect kick. The food? Absolutely delivered. The sea bass tacos were light, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The Caesar salad was a surprise standout—crisp, creamy, and well-balanced. You can tell everything is made with intention and a focus on bold, vibrant flavor. The energy of the space, with its curated music and live entertainment, made it feel like a full sensory experience—not just a meal. Toca Madera nails that perfect blend of upscale dining and effortless cool. We’ll definitely be back for another round—especially those margaritas.

Honestly blown away by this place. The atmosphere is amazing and the decor is mind blowing. Definitely not a place to bring Littles, more of an adult scene. But honestly top spot to go for date nights or out on the town. Tinga enchiladas, chicken al pastor and truffle mac and cheese. All seasoned beautifully and to die for. Drinks are a papasito and Aqua Fresca. DELICIOUS!!! Our server was Jordan and she was fantastic and super knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!

This has to be one of the best experiences I have had at an establishment. The fire show, the live music, the service was excellent and quick. The food was excellent, paired with the ambiance and entertainment make this a must visit. We did a lot of shared dishes and we never had a bad dish. The cocktails were excellent. The Ghost Rider was my favorite.

This place was amazing! Came for dinner tonight and had a great time! Benjamin our server was amazing and the AGM Michael had the best hospitality! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting. 5 stars for sure!

Modern, exotic, and charming interior with a very lively atmosphere! The DJ was amazing, service at the bar was excellent, and the drinks were spot on!! The tacos we tried, however, were nothing more than “just OK” at best. So, this 5-star review is really for the venue, the DJ, and the bar staff—not the tacos! Can’t say about the other dishes since we didn’t try them, but overall, I believe this place is one of the best spots in Scottsdale 🌵✨

If you are here for an EXPERIENCE this is the place to be! If you sweat a lot don't worry because it's freezing in here! The fire flames and food options and drinks were one of a kind. Thoroughly enjoyed and now I'm waiting for the Miami location to open up!

This place is amazing. You start off with valet parking which is great. The food and drinks are amazing. The environment is awesome. The music is just perfect to talk amongst your friends.

I loved the warm and inviting atmosphere—the staff were incredibly welcoming. The Arab-themed dinner show was a unique touch that really elevated the experience. What stood out most was when they played a deeply Arabic song I adore—hearing it outside of my headphones was a surprising and special moment.

Toca Madera Scottsdale absolutely blew me away! The vibe is unreal—sophisticated, lively, and full of energy. The fire dancers and live music brought an incredible atmosphere that made the night feel like an experience, not just a dinner. Every single dish we ordered was packed with flavor—fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. From start to finish, the service, ambiance, and food were top-tier. Can’t wait to come back

This place is beyond awesome. Every member of their team was fully on point. Bradley was our server and he gave great recommendations. Food and drinks came out timely and wow 🤯 food was so good. As someone who lived in manhattan for a few years- the food, the vibe, and the service completely exceeded my expectations. First of all, the chips and salsa just arrived within 4 minutes of sitting down. The salsa was so fresh and the chips had a great kick. We had the calamari for our appetizer. We ordered the boneless ribeye with truffle butter and added crab. Side of whipped potatoes. Everything was 11/10 and we will definitely be back next time we visit Scottsdale!!!!

Me and my husband came here for our 10 year anniversary dinner the other night and I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant! The hostesses, every single server, waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive. They made our special night even more memorable. As we both have food restrictions we were able to find delicious options. The guacamole, salsa and Salmon was mouth watering good!! We were even given dessert on the house! The food, atmosphere, service was an incredible experience. Definitely worth every penny! Thank you so much for a great night! 😀

Exceptional experience. My wife and I dined at Happy Hour and were very pleased with the food, drinks, and service. A special not goes out to Holli, Elyse, Braeden, and Caleb who did all they could to make our pre-Valentine dinner memorable. The Happy Hour menu is very original and tasty; especially the beef tostaditas and Hamachi. The brown butter cake was a great desert to top of the visit.

Amazing place for a date night! While I stuck with my tried and true dirty martini and was not disappointed, my partner ordered the mi serrana cocktail. The cucumber gave it the right amount of cool while the Serrano pepper gave it a little kick. We started with the guacamole and calamari. Both were delicious and flavorful. As an entree we decided on the American Wagyu flaming tomahawk. The tableside presentation was amazing! The steak was perfectly prepared, juicy and melt-in-your-mouth. Now for the sides. The seasonal vegetables were steamed and lightly seasoned. The truffle manchego fries had just the right amount our truffle oil and truffle hot sauce so soaked up the flavor yet still remained crispy. The whipped potatoes with jalapeño oil were delicate and a great addition to the meal. I’m looking forward to experiencing all that this fabulous place has to offer!

The food and cocktails are delicious and the staff was so knowledgeable. My only qualm is that the website states dress code is business casual. Business casual is meant for business/work environments and I couldn't imagine putting on a blazer to eat enchiladas. Cocktail would be a more appropriate dress code. I ended up wearing a backless fashion nova dress which fit the vibe, however is definitely not business casual.

Went on girls trip with my sister girl! This was our first dinner night. It was a cute atmosphere very dark lighting but you can still see. They had entertainment, good food and drinks! It is pricey to me though. She always celebrated my engagement which was very sweet🤍 we both got fish, mashed potatoes and the starter was great! The calamari is a must.

K

We visited this spot for a girls night dinner. The atmosphere is swanky and beautiful. We had great service and enjoyed the fun fiery drinks. The food was good but overpriced in my opinion. The drinks were refreshing, fun, and tasty but again overpriced. $23 for a shot seems excessive. Would be a beautiful date night spot as well. I would revisit.

Went to Toca - the food was okay, drink was good, but the vibe was unmatched! Such a beautiful spot. If you love a place that feels like a whole aesthetic experience, this is it. Missed the fire show, should be advertised that it's only a certain time performed.

L
Leyla Khalighi

Ambiance is really nice, fire dance was very interesting. I had to go with kids since we were traveling and no babysitter. Burger was fine but steak was cold too so expensive and very normal

L
Leann Amodeo

Our server, Trey, was amazing, which only enhanced our first-time experience. The food was good, everything came out at the right time, and was so yummy! We had the queso fundido, seabass tacos, al pastor, tinga tacos, steak quesadilla for kids, and top sirloin. The guava margaritas are so good! Then we tried the butter cake for dessert - so good! Also, the decor 😍 I could not stop staring at the beams and the skylight ceiling. Such a nice outdoor vibe while being indoors and comfortable when it's hot.

I’d come back for the pillow talk cocktail!! Nice atmosphere and the service was great. But honestly, we were disappointed in our entrees, just wasn’t very flavorful with very small portions. The appetizer was enjoyable.

Love the vibes here and the drinks are always good!! Overall always good experience. Definitely go for brunch during the weekends, or late night for good music and entertainment. Atmosphere and service are definitely a 5/5, I’d say the food is 4/5.

This restaurant’s food and service are great. The atmosphere is beautiful and unlike the Vegas location it isn’t unreasonably loud or dark. My only issue is the value. Although the combination of food/service and atmosphere is unique, it will wear out eventually. You can get similar quality food/service in the valley for 60-70% of the cost. If the food is your top priority, then you can get the same food for 50% of the cost.

J
Jashan Lodha

The atmosphere was magical, with live music, ambient lighting, real trees, candles, and a firebreather adding excitement. The servers were friendly and understanding, though they couldn’t serve the burger due to a lack of fries. While the setting was superb, the food didn’t meet expectations. The steak was mixed up, the vegetable side was just oversized carrots, and other dishes were decent but overpriced. It was a fun and unique experience, but the food options and service need improvement.

J
James ONeal

Sooooo. This place IS a vibe buuuuuut I need vibe PLUS amazing food. I paid $63 for an underseasoned brazino and whipped potatoes that needed a little more salt. The calamari and fresh chips and salsa were the best part of the meal tonight. You are paying for vibe and drinks. It was a busy night so my server was all over. She was nice but again match the vibe with AMAZING food.

D
Darlene Landgrave

The price cannot justify the food. The worst chicken adobada tacos I had ever eaten it was just shredded chicken wrap in a small tortillas with no flavor for 18 dills. The tacos that cost like 25 dollars each not worth it. To summarize my experience we all got sick I guess they put to much spices. I went back but for dessert ice cream and churros at the bar, very good cocktails. Never going back to dine in only drinks and dessert.

C
Cory Nguyen

Seating was fast and organized, after that it seems that the service level was just barely OK. The waiter was always busy so it’s not a situation of ours being aloof. At the same time it could just be his awareness to scan his tables more regularly to check in. The music was lounge club style but not too loud to have a conversation. It seems that the clientele coming here is overall younger and is definitely a special occasion type dining experience for them. The chicken Tinga that my wife got was very good. It was tender, moist and great flavor. My daughter ordered the Kobe A5 Hygogo Prefecture Flight of 3 which she said was an “experience”. I know what she means by that as my first Kobe A5 (not waygu) was also an experience. The shishto peppers were typically blistered, the brocolini however was not good - dry and chewy. My scallops were good but nothing extraordinary. Wife and I both felt the Chicken Tinga was the best. Overall food was good. The cheapest entree was the best. I don’t remember exactly what my wife and daughter ordered for a shared desert but I think it may have been their churro desert. Overall the food was good but most people will think not a good value, service could be better and more experienced and ultimately for us it’s not a place we would book again.

C
Cassondra Lux

Really disappointing experience. I'm sure this was the exception, not the norm, but service was really bad. Food was really good, though, so 2/5. We were there for 3 hours and the server checked in on us a few times, but almost every time we had to ask where parts of our order was. Our drinks were forgotten multiple times and my bloody mary came without some of the garnishes I added, the beer was warm once delivered, they forgot one of our appetizers, and forgot one of our sides. Once we got home, they forgot to pack one of our entrees and didn't pack the salsa I had added to my plate. They did offer us dessert, which was a nice surprise, and all of our food was amazing, but really terrible experience. We do highly recommend the queso fundido, waygu burger, Japanese waygu steak, and the tres leches cake.

R
Ree Jax

This place definitely has a very lively atmosphere and vibe, which is a huge plus for a night out. The service staff were excellent—our server was very nice and attentive, and the hostess was also lovely. However, the experience was slightly marred by the security outside, who were a little obnoxious. Despite the great service and atmosphere, the food was the major letdown. It was overpriced, extremely salty, and just not appealing at all. Given the high cost, the quality of the meal was very disappointing.

H
Honee Bee Me

I love upscale.. I never mind the cost... This place is expensive for no reason! The food is not great. The presentation was not impressive at all. It was my birthday and I was disappointed this year. I even had to make a reservation for this! I'm going to have to suggest The Mission instead, thw food and atmosphere is much better.

J
Jade

I would never return here for another holiday, if even at all. To start, the blonde hostess had an attitude when I waved at her because she greeted and checked everyone else when we arrived before some other guests. Then it took over 40 minutes past our reservation time to be seated because the establishment was over booked, yet we weren’t allowed to cancel our reservation or we’d be charged. The manager (guy with glasses) I spoke to was nice and finally found us seating and offered a bottle of some sort to us for the inconvenience that we never received that night, then while seated a server dropped the shot glass with sparkler thing near my foot which left shards of glass and sand around our table. She then apologized about this and said she would bring us a “round of drinks” that again, we never received. Food was ok but not worth the prices and my food order was wrong. We were also charged for items we didn’t order but it was so late in the night that at that point I just paid for it so we could leave. Very disappointing experience for “upscale” dining on New Year’s Eve night.
