Opinions de Coffee Catz Sebastopol
Found this place while visiting Sebastopol's Barlow. Loved the quiet, cozy vibe of the place! Ordered a Horchata Latte and it was amazing. Will be back to attend some of the live music events, enjoy more coffee and the lovely customer service.
Located in the Gravenstein Station, Coffee & Moore is a regular place to stop for my wife and I after a brisk walk on the nearby Joe Rodota Trail. Providing the comfort of home with great coffee and food, the new owner is carrying on the tradition of this establishment and taking it to new levels.
Highly recommend. I love this place! It's the perfect coffee date place. The food is delicious the people are very kind and the service is exceptional. I want to take my mom for tea next time.
I love the vibe of this place. It's very cozy with an array of seating options. There are also some books and board games. They also display local art which you can buy. It's a good place to study, wifi offered. The building it's in is charming. There is a model train inside with additional seating.

I've been going to this place for over 15 years. Excellent service really nice young staff. Clean, excellent food and breakfast items and sandwiches and drinks. And really nice pastries. Absolutely great crowd. Internet. Sometimes people playing the piano inside. Right across from the Barlow. Really good parking. This is a beautiful addition to many great things in Sebastopol.
Coffee and Moore has a great selection of coffees, teas, pastries, food, as well as wine. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed and the staff is friendly. Overall a perfect place either to meet friends or go on your own.
My husband and I loveee coming here, great portion food sizes, drinks and pastries are amazing also. We try and go often to support them, a great local cafe. I suggest trying the strawberry rose Italian soda. Super cute eating area also, very cozy. I’m gonna be back soon to try their high tea combo! 10/10
This place is awesome! The endless options of (delicious) flavored lattes is unmatched in Northern CA-- my faves being the Big Apple latte (always a comforting reminder of the coziness of sweater weather) or the Dulce de Leche. The pretzel bun egg slider (with or without sausage) is a perfect, tasty and filling small breakfast/snack option. The inside seating is eclectic, art filled and beautiful and a wonderful space for a cozy conversation with friend/s, a quiet nook for some remote work/study, or grab a table to enjoy one of the live music options on the calendar. There are also multiple shaded bistro tables in the outdoor seating patio with the soothing trickle of the water fountain, a great spot to hang with your pooch whilst sipping a cappuccino after a stroll on the Joe Rodota path. And, of the couple dozens of times I have visited I cannot recall one in which the owner Janet has not been behind the register with a welcoming hello. Please give this wonderful coffee shop a try. You will walk away with a happy tummy, a nice caffeine buzz and feeling good about supporting a wonderful small community business.
What a Wonderful cozy, spacious cafe to meet friends and family. I love the inside comfy multi room sitting areas, and specific quiet room for those on computers, and lovely outside area to sit too. Beautifully decorated with local artist’s paintings on the walls. I had the Turkey cranberry avocado sandwich, and my daughter had the ham and cheese with avocado. We both added extras, so many extras to add to sandwiches. We both loved our custom teas too. There are a dozen or more teas to try, and juices. I had a black ice tea with lavender, but almost tried the black ice tea with ginger lemonade. My daughter had the black ice tea with hibiscus. Loved It!!!! The owner and staff were so kind and hospitable. This cafe is a treasure to visit.
vegetarian and gluten-sensitive friendly. they have a few vegan pastry options and a gluten free bread option and you actually get a discount instead of a surcharge when you get a sandwich on gluten free bread because the gluten free bread is smaller. pretty sweet
We tried this out on our first day in Sebastopol and decided to start every morning here. The food is amazing, we had the sliders with turkey sausage. The coffee was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We have been here a handful of times since ownership change and we still love it! Great coffee and food and lovely staff. The mother and son team are always welcoming. Cute atmosphere options to sit outside with the peaceful water fountain or sit inside with the cozy couches and chairs. Check out their menu online it’s amazing! Instead of going to corporate Starbucks, take the beautiful drive out west and experience this little gem in Sebastopol!
Outstanding Jewel in the quiet town of Sebastopool. Love the Historic atmosphere! Coffee outstanding! I had a Cortado💕☕️

Small local coffee place . Excellent coffee and pastries. Indoor and outdoor seating. Is a little difficult to get to, as off of the busy highway 12. And sometimes I think inside has a musty odor.
First off, the atmosphere here is outstanding. Also outstanding is the food, although it is very expensive for cafe food. The three core issues are the relatively slow service (if they're busy), the expensive food and drink, and the pretty so-so level of their coffee. In a different area, this place's coffee would skip un-noticed, but it's not some $1.25 cup of coffee, they charge a full $2.50 ... and for that money you get a cup of coffee that is pretty much a 3/5. Not really THAT big of a deal, but when you can go down the street (literally walking distance) to TMF's coffee bar and get easy 4 - 4.5 / 5 coffee, or better yet hit up ninjastar for consistent 5/5, this spot is a hard sell by it self if you're there for the coffee. That being said, if you're not a coffee snob, don't mind paying $10 for a bagel with eggs and cheese, don't mind a wait if it's busy, and you REALLY want to kick it in all their soft chairs, this spot is definitely worth a stop. If coffee is a core priority, keep driving.

First visit with new owners. Menue had changed. Food was good and served hot. I will return. Some of the wait staff is still there, kind hearted, with an easy smile to welcome you. I liked it.
This place was very casual, but seemed either understaffed or not very well organized. People seemed a bit stressed and the service was very slow. Coffee and food was nice, once it arrived.

Came it was slow, people who came in after us all got their drinks and we had to wait. The Mocha was like water and no flavor and no whip like she asked us ask. Worst drink I've ever had. Asked for money back and lady got smart asked about it. Will never come back. Been here many times never this bad

My burrito was $20 after a modest tip, but is barely 4 inches long and literally 1 inch thick. I measured. This might be the literal smallest portion I’ve received for a meal anywhere ever. The avocado is browning, and the ingredients tasted like they were from a frozen box. This is a factual embarrassment to all the other restaurants of Sebastopol; if you can’t afford to serve food, don’t have it on your menu. The aesthetic was somewhat charming, until I was berated by the staff for looking at it instead of waiting for my drinks. I will never come here again despite its proximity to home, and caution all others to stay away.
My partner just went to get us lunch and picked up a breakfast burrito. When we got it home we realized this $16 “breakfast burrito” is 4 inches long and has browning avocado. Thought about driving back and demanding our money back but we figured two bad reviews, never ever going back there again, and warning others in the area about this place would be enough. Completely vile to sell this for $16 Edit: Coming back to also say that their Chai latte tasted awful and the older woman server was also incredibly rude to my partner. Wow, what a terrible place. No idea how they have a high rating.
Aging hippie place with bad coffee. Huckster woo-woos selling magic ’angel cards’ to depressed people for $2 a card. It’s basically the ultra left-wing version of Trump America, where mystics try to sell you alt-health ‘essential oils’ to go in your coffee. Avoid.

Tuesday, 8/13 12:15 After a short walk on Joe Rodota Trail we have enjoyed many nice hours on the patio of this establishment, first as the much missed Coffee Catz and now the much less hospitable Coffee & Moore. Today I tried to move a table umbrella from an empty table to our nicely shaded but soon to be sunny table when I was yelled at, from inside the building and across the courtyard, by the male employee and I presume member of the owner’s family, that they do not allow customers to move the umbrellas. I put the umbrella back and asked him to move the umbrella to our table which he refused to do, saying there were other tables with umbrellas. At this point I told him he was just plain “inhospitable”. This young man is in the wrong career. He is more suited to be a prison guard, with apologies to prison guards. He might well be eliminated from such a career for anger issues. I was heartened to get vocal support for my side of this unpleasant interaction from three other customers seated at separate tables, so I do not think I was unreasonable. Other reviews have mentioned the sullen nature of this young man. We may return to this pleasant patio to read after a future walk but I will be having water. The food is not great either, unless you are a fan of ketchup in the preparation of your tuna salad sandwich. Too bad.
