My new favorite gem in town! Absolutely delicious veggie burger and friendly customer service. You can really taste the quality and freshness, which makes the price worth it. The menu is more meat focused but they do have Impossible plant based burger pattys for any burger. We tried the special which had onion rings, barbecue sauce and cheese (typically comes with bacon too but we omitted) on a perfectly squishy sesame seed bun, noticeably fresh. Fries were great, perfectly salted. They have a lot of seating, the place overall is really clean and super cute. I love that they have bar seating too, so you can see your burger being made in action! The owners are a local couple who have been working in the industry for years, you can really feel the intentionality behind what they’re doing here that comes from their experience. We’ll def be back!

Experiences the Lunch Box today at their pop up at Old Caz. Absolutely shocked with how delicious my burger was. I enjoyed every single bite. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The bread was soft and fluffy. My family also got the Zesty Oklahoma Fried Onion Burger and the Birria Grilled Cheese which were also very delicious. Everyone was happy with their meal and I can’t wait to visit their brick and mortar.

Clean lunch / dinner spot in downtown Sebastopol. Excellent quality food with fresh ground burgers, local sourced bread and produce. Favorites are the chicken sandwich and Harn Burger. Seasonal salad with chicken is also excellent. Good selection of local craft beers. I also like to catch them at pop ups around the county.

It's a nice atmosphere you walk in. You'll water at the counter and you make your payments and then you take a number and you go find a table to sit at and when the food is ready they bring it to your table. Pretty straightforward. They do have beers on tap. I did not take any. The place appears clean and spacious but I would comment on the noise level. It's a very full of hard surfaces and wasn't very crowded and it's very noisy for that even. But the hamburger was delicious and the staff was pleasant.

Lunch box is so good! I took my staff here for lunch on my first visit and have been coming back several times since. My favorite is the chicken parm sandwich, it’s a huge portion, perfectly crisp, cheese that stretches, delicious sauce with a nice spread of ricotta—it’s the perfect combo of flavor and texture. I’ve also had the regular chicken sandwich and burgers—-everything delicious. Highly recommend the truffle parm fries as well. Also good beer selection on tap. Prices are fair for locally owned made to order, I’m not sure why some reviewers would compare prices to corporate chains/franchises. Service has always been top notch. It’s nice to have a good lunch spot in town.

I’m always searching for the tastiest burger and as far as West County goes, this place has consistently delivered the best. At 1/3 pound the Burger Harn should satisfy most lunchers, but if you ask nicely they’ll put a second patty on, for a few bucks of course. Full transparency, the photo is of a double. Easily located on the main strip downtown. Don’t be put off by parking, you can usually grab a spot in the public parking lot that serves the shops behind. Just hang a right on Bodega and another on First- the parking is behind the library.

Wow! This was my first time in Sebastopol and i stopped into the Lunch Box for a late lunch. Beautiful space, great service, cool vibe, and awesome food. Had the chicken sandwich and truffle fries with an Old Caz highly recommend this place. The quality and flavor of the food is incredible.

Not much ambiance but the Impossible burgers and fries are a family favorite. From 4 year old to 72 yr old and everyone inbetween the vote is is for the vegan burgers at Lunch Box.

I was doing laundry and decided to take little stroll down the block for something to eat and came across this wonderful place. I have heard positive things about lunchbox before and did not have any doubts that I would enjoy it. I ordered a tuna melt which came with either salad or fries, the fries are your standard shoestring fries which were crispy and cooked to perfection. The tuna melt, unlike most places, was seasoned and the other ingredients were finely minced and mixed into the tuna filling giving it less of that crunchy texture from the onion and other additives. I imagine it would be great for picky eaters who arent great with that texture. The toast had a perfect crispy buttery brown on them and a delightful crunch that made it a great counterbalance in feel to the nice tuna filling. Cheese was a cheddar from what I can tell that was melted nicely. Loved the selection of drinks they had, I cant do regular soda so finding la croix in the case was a relief. Overall a great little place with a nice atmosphere. Will definitely stop by again in the future to see what else is good there.

We were a group of 3 so needed a 4 person table, most of which were occupied by couples. People like space, but the restaurant has limited dining capacity to begin with, so they should be more focused on maximizing potential. If you like beer, they have a few good options. It would be great to see them add wine or hard cider to the selection for those not interested in beer. Non-alcoholic beverages are also fairly limited. Service was slow. It was a lunch rush and they are a small operation, but the wait for food was over 20 minutes. When the food arrived, it was just okay. We ordered the dirty fries with no peperoncinis, but they weren't held. We also ordered a burger with no tomatoes and no pickles..... it came with only pickles. The issue may be that the person at the counter uses a POS system for sales, but then seems to write orders or modifications on a ticket to pass to the cook? Something is getting lost in the process it seems. Overall, I'd probably given them another chance because they're new, but I wasn't impressed. The $80 price tag for COUNTER SERVICE didn't help. At that price point, they should have waitstaff.

I went with the hot Italian sandwich and it was delicious!

The good news first - friendly spot for burgers and more. Fries are light and crispy. Burgers are tasty and fresh. High quality food and bright open atmosphere. Kids definitely like this spot and good for adults too. The team is super nice. Downsides - the schedule - open mostly only during the day so not great for dinner. Also, they take a lot of days off, so check on your phone before you plan to eat there.

Expensive and mediocre. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and was met with a mixed bag. The meat and bun were good but the "spicy" coleslaw was anything but that. It was like garlicky mayo mush and there was hardly and crunch. I won't be coming here again.
