Opinions de Tan's Donut Santa Rosa
FANTASTIC Cambodian food, at a great price. May seem "expensive" at first but the generous portions and the fresh quality more than justify the price point. PLEASE come here, it's family run and they're always so kind and hospitable and plus they have just fantastic food. I ordered the combination vermicelli bowl and everything was fresh and super generous portions of meat. Can't wait to come back. Edit : got the crurry and pad Thai ! PHENOMENAL. huge portions ( 4 of us split the two plates and had allot left over ) . The pad Thai wasn't too sweet and very delicious. I keep going back and the quality is still GREAT. Got the banh mi with the lemon grass chicken and that was really really tasty. Great deal for 9 bucks and the French bread was freshly baked! Very happy!
The place is unique because of the hybrid between Cambodian food and American donuts; both are well made in the home kitchen style. The restaurant is family-run, and the waitress is amiable. The food may seem pricey initially, but the quality and flavor are well worth it. Please don’t mistake it for a regular Pho or traditional Vietnamese restaurant. The taste is more natural with herbs rather than MSG. Worth a try if you’re in town.
Ordered my best friend apple fritters after she gave birth because that’s all she wanted! Got those and donut holes delivered on door dash, they were delicious. Apple fritters were huge and tasted fresh. Would deff get donuts here again!
This is such a nice, quiet little restaurant. They serve beverages, pastries, and cambodian sandwiches/soups. The employees are so friendly, and welcoming. Its not too busy, but it has a steady pace of visitors that seem to know the employees. Their Thai milk tea is very tasty, the donuts are nice and fluffy, and their sandwiches are packed with flavors. The prices are also reasonable for the area.
I was making some deliveries in town & spotted this donut shop I thought to myself ok why not swing by since I was in the mood for some donuts so I ordered some chocolate donuts & to my surprise it was also linked to a Cambodian restaurant I ordered an Cambodian sandwich it was pretty yummy a very nice size decent pricing I couldn’t even finish it all I only ended up eating half of it but I was impressed by how fresh the donuts still were also fluffy & prefect amount of sweetness it was already pretty late in the afternoon it’s also nice that they’re open until night it’s very rare to come across any donut shop even open until late afternoon I’m glad I was able to stop by & check it out I enjoyed everything highly recommended
They have Pho!! We walked in to grab a quick donut and ended up staying for lunch because we're suckers hahah. The food was great, their Thai Iced Tea is amazing. And the server was really nice.
Great donuts. And friendly owners who will take the time to talk with you. I walked 20 minutes to try this place, and it was well worth it.
This was a wonderful discovery. Cambodian cuisine is not something I've had much of before but it's great to be able to discover it through a small, family run store like this. Very friendly service as well. I recommend the beef skewers and look forward to coming back soon to try more dishes!
Got the shrimp pad thai, omg it is amazing. It is made to order so expect a 15 min wait but definitely worth the wait. Donuts are good too! I like the thai tea from there as well.

Love going here doughnuts are very tasty and fresh and the food is amazing. Great place to go and enjoy.
Hands up my favorite donut shop to go to! the people who work here are extremely nice. the prices are fair, but the best part to why I love this specific donut shop is the freshness of the Donuts! want to eat a donut that melts into your mouth?
This is the only donut shop I will go to in Sonoma county. The family are the sweetest and greet you with smiles and kindness. Their donuts are hands down amazing. So fresh, fluffy and highest quality. Thank you for being here in Sonoma county Tan.
Great local place for donuts, just had a breakfast sandwich today, and it was delicious! Fried egg on the sando, and all the meat had a quality to it I was unprepared for. I need to swing by here for lunch next.
Excellt donuts, and friendly staff. More than able to put up with our crazy kids. Prices are good as are the donuts. You can also get Thai tea here, which is a plus. I have not tried the Cambodian food yet.
We came on a Sunday, so sadly we weren't able to try anything from the food menu. But the apple fritter was out of this world! Perfect amount of filling and icing, and the dough was cooked to perfection. Honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Santa Rosa.
Best Donuts on the planet. Found them in 2003 and you don't have to arrive in wee hours of dawn to have still warm donuts. Amazing prices and the biggest donuts that we have ever experienced. They have an exceptional menu and every item served is beyond what you expect. I truly miss Tans and I have had other Donuts, but without access to the amazing Delish at Tans I will not settle. Have moved to Trinity County, California is Tans 152 miles away. I do know when we get back to Sonoma County to visit will be buying a dozen of the only donuts I will not have to Settle for. Thanks for showing me donuts are worth every enjoyable bite.😄😄😄💖💖😪
I get takeout for dinner about once a month here for me and my girlfriend, I get the BBQ pork vermicelli plate, she gets lemon chicken rice. Its always delicious! Good portions for reasonable prices. They will sneak in a couple donuts for dessert if they have leftovers.

Amazing Bahn Mi! I get the lemongrass chicken every time. The rolls are so soft and delicious, and I don't know what they do to the condiments, or just the combo they have, but it is so, so good. A $10 sandwich is easily 2 servings if you're not super hungry and just want a quick lunch. You're stuffed if you eat the whole thing (I have)! Pickled carrots and daikon, lemongrass sauce, mayo, jalapeno, and a very generous portion of chicken all combine for this local specialty. These "holes in the wall" often have the best food! Service is fine - I've not seen the same person twice, but it's pretty quick unless they're busy because they make everything fresh and to order. There is a restroom you can use if you're a paying customer. One thing that got me recently though was the lack of hand washing - one guy totally sneezed into the open air, mouth uncovered , twice, while making the coffee and there wasn't any soap for hand washing in the bathroom, so... EW. Couldn't see the kitchen from the front counter so I hope that's not the norm, but if they're doing it in front of customers and not trying to immediately correct, that's a problem. Overall the place seems pretty clean, it's just old and in a strip mall from the 60s or 70s so modern.

I’ve been eating donuts at an unhealthy level for 56 years (so I know donuts)—Something is way off with the oils they are using to make their donuts. The apple fritter was way too greasy and it tasted ONLY like a weird oil. Absolutely no taste at all…first time and last time visiting this establishment

Terrible experience at this donut shop. The items are never ready on time. If they say 5 minutes, be prepared to wait at least 20. This is the worst place to stop in the morning—especially for DoorDash drivers who end up wasting so much time waiting around. Very poorly managed, not worth the visit.
