This place is exceptional. The miso soup is usually an afterthought at many places, but it really shines here. We got a variety of rolls, including some daily specials (California roll topped with Eel was a stand out) and some standby rolls. The Carburetor roll, while not the most appetizing name is worth ordering. My favorite roll at any sushi restaurant is Salmon Skin, and this was probably the best I have had almost anywhere. Little bits of nicely seasoned belly meat and crispy skin were honestly the star and everyone at the table really liked it. The pink lady was the only roll that didn't rock me, but the quality of the tuna in there was undeniably good I had just never tried the soy wrap and I missed the seaweed flavor. All in all fantastic quality and price. Would recommend.

We placed a takeaway order for the veggie dragon rolls from their specials menu and were not disappointed at all. They are so so incredibly flavorful - especially with the creamy sauce on the side. Highly recommend!

We are shared a bunch of different rolls, calamari, and vegetable tempura. Non of is were disappointed! Super friendly staff. For how much food we got, and how stuffed we were, I would say that Sushi Tozai is responsibly priced. I would recommend reservations on weekend for sure.

I went here for restaurant week and it was INCREDIBLE. The portions were very generous, and I felt like I got a great experience. My water never hit the bottom of the glass before it was refilled! I had a nice wine and a huge sushi roll. Appetizer was miso soup and fried oysters. I seriously recommend this place to anyone wanting delicious sushi.

Services was excellent! Staff, servers, beverage and Food were A1....attentive, personal yet professional! They were definitely ontop of product knowledge! Atmosphere was excellent! Food was exquisitely awesome !! Presentation was sublime! Price was reasonably worth it! Awesome experiences! My now #1 to go sushi experiences in Sebastopol! I insist that you try out this spot!! Parking is not an issue!! I can't wait for my next experiences! Lucky for me it my birthday and I have family visiting!! Hmm!! They will be buying! It's on!!

Avocado roll is $7 for 6 pieces, mostly rice... Other than that, quick and simple service. Highly reccomend getting an air filter to have for the small dining room. It was a bit stuffy and uncomfortable and I won't be returning in person due to that. Thanks!

Not my favorite sushi, fish was good and the tidal wave roll was delicious with all is preparations but fish is not five star. I loved the sauce combination on this roll more than anything. Not pictured was the bento box with teriyaki chicken, the chicken was too dry and needed the sauce. Not my favorite sushi.

Not sure why this has a 4.5. The sushi was pretty bad. The spicy tuna tastes like they used a taco spice pack from Safeway. It was all spice and no taste of the tuna. The other rolls were mediocre at best, though the fish on the Rainbow Roll was not fresh looking. Won't be back.
