Decided to try this place after finding out their 2 other location had a longer than usual wait time to dine. Honestly, i’m glad we dined here because it was less packed and the food was AMAZING! They also had a full bar so we ordered a 1/2 pitcher of red sangria (yum)! For food, we ordered the garlic shrimp for appetizer, followed by paella marinera and tomahawk to share. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Meat was cooked perfectly (still sizzling in cast iron plate) with paella filled with seafood! Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good time and delicious food!

I’ve been to other Segovia locations but never to Mesón… My first visit was perfect they did not disappoint! Carlos had lots of excellent recommendations from cocktails to dessert. I had the Black Sea Bass which was delicious, light and airy, perfectly cooked, and went well over the spinach & crabmeat. Although I didn’t taste the stuffed mushrooms, they looked good and I hear the pork chops are absolutely phenomenal… Finish off with the in house made “Crema Catalana”👌🏾 And if you’re looking to host a private event, this is your location! Oh! And they also have loads of specials and a “power lunch”… you will not be disappointed!

We recently celebrated our daughter’s first birthday at Segovia Meson, and it was unforgettable! Maria did an amazing job coordinating everything while I was planning from another state. She helped us accommodate 140 people with ease. The servers went above and beyond, ensuring every guest was taken care of. The food was incredible—everyone loved it and there was plenty to go around. Because of their excellent service, other family members will be celebrating their special occasions here as well. Thank you, Segovia Meson, for making our daughter’s birthday so special!

My mother hosted my bridal shower here for me on 6/9/24 and it was such a hit. Very attentive staff and service. Maria, our event coordinator that works at the restaurant, was fantastic and very helpful. Juan, the Maitre D’, was fantastic as well. Highly recommend for parties and events.

The food was excellent. The service was on point. I would definitely recommend and I would go back. We had steak, paella, seafood, muscles that were delectable. Even the salad was tasty. The bread was nice and fresh. The bathrooms were very clean. The whole place was immaculate. There’s plenty of parking. They even have space for a party with 80 people.

We had our sons first birthday party here and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The food is exceptional and they have a variety of packages to choose from. They were very accommodating and even though I called many times to change the table arrangements they were more than happy to help. I couldn’t recommend a better place for hosting a party. We had so much fun and it was truly an unforgettable night. Overall I’d say it was a 10/10!

Nice place and it’s big enough to have celebrations here. I started with their octopus and smoked old-fashioned at the bar and it dis not disappoint! Then I had their sesame crusted pan seared tuna and it was delicious. That’s probably one of the best rare pan seared tuna I’ve had! Highly recommended!

The twin lobsterfest for $30 (on Monday and Tuesday) is such a good value. You get two lobsters plus chips, steamed broccoli and rice. I enjoyed the sangria but a pitcher was $35 however my wife enjoyed it. The paella valenciana was packed full of shrimp, lobster, and mussels, even though it was a bit salty. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional on a Monday night.

The menu is limited compared to the one in Little Ferry, the service was ok, but quality was on point. It was a Tuesday night so there wasn't to much of a atmosphere.

This place has excellent food, and the service was good throughout the meal. I especially liked the calamari as a starter; it was very tender. I had the short rib; the meat was tender but a bit dry. The gravy helped. My wife had the shrimp in garlic sauce, which I sampled. Another great choice. The waiter was attentive, but I was a little disappointed that they couldn't split the bill. He just brought us the bill after the meal. When asked, he said he couldn't split it because it was already totaled. I just think he didn't want to go through the extra effort.

Translated from the Spanish meaning inn or tavern, my partner, our friends, and I decided on an early Easter celebration dinner at this establishment geared towards catering in-house and larger events located only 1.7 miles north of MetLife Stadium on Washington Avenue in Carlstadt. Tonight, some of us are returning to Segovia Mesón after a hiatus of 4 years. The reservation was easily made by calling the restaurant. Upon arrival inside, with the warm and inviting earth tones making a very relaxed vibe, we were greeted by the host and got a table in one of the three rooms. The menu offers an appealing array of tapas, paellas, and traditional Spanish dishes bursting with authentic flavors. As appetizers, we decided on a dozen East Coast Oysters and Ecargots Segovia. Our main entree consisted of Scallops and Shrimp, Stuffed Shrimp, Short Ribs, Whole Baked Branzino, and Veal Castellana unfortunately with no substitution. Rice, Broccoli and Potato Chips accompanied our meal to be shared by everyone. Complimentary European-style rolls with butter started our meal. Each bite was a testament to the chef's dedication to quality and craftsmanship. However, the shrimps were not only overcooked but also tasteless. The scallop and jumbo shrimp dish looked more like an appetizer than a main. The service was courteous and attentive; our server was Silvano, who was friendly. The price was a bit steep. Be warned: come with an empty stomach, which we continue to recommend.

The food was good but too pricey compared to other Segovia restaurants. I don’t like the fact that there no sharing & you have to pay additional $10.00 per head if you share. I think that is a very bad policy.

We normally go to Segovia Steak House. Tonight went to Segovia Meson and had a sub par experience. The service was not that great, but what happened at the end of the meal was something I've never experienced before. My wife had barely finished half of her bacon wrapped filet mignon. She planned on taking what was left home. The waiter brought out a to go container and proceeded to drop the filet on the floor. Then says "5 second rule" and puts it in the container, then says oh don't worry our floor is clean. We thought he was joking and figured he would at least either comp us something off the meal or do something for ruining half a $55 steak. The bill came out and he did zero to make up for the mistake. Needless to say we left the to go container behind. When I spend nearly $300 for a meal for 2 people I expect better service. Very disappointed in this location. I'll stick to the Steak House in Little Ferry from now on.

We held my son-in-law‘s surprise party last Saturday evening. It was family style. It was a big mistake. Definitely not enough food. They gave half portion of food to each table of 12 people. We should have asked if they could bring out more.
