Acabamos aquí de casualidad, íbamos de camino a otro restaurante que estaba al lado, pero nos los encontramos cerrado. Por esto, acabamos en este bar y, la verdad que fue una buena casualidad. Típico bar andaluz donde comes de tapeo, calidad total y servicio fantástico. Además, el precio más que asequible para lo llenos que acabamos. Buena experiencia, para repetir cuando volvamos.

Paramos en Bar Paco Góngora para tomarnos unas cervezas en barras. No pedimos comida porque simplemente queríamos tomar una cerveza. Pero tal como nos trato el personal, pensamos en volver a probar la comida. Es una bodega tradicional con comida tradicional española en el centro antiguo de Sevilla. Volveremos a comer.

Como siempre, muy bien atendido, comida de calidad en un sitio céntrico y que aún mantiene la esencia de bar sevillano. Servicio excelente de manos de José Eduardo.

He venido a comer en esta preciosa bodega dos veces, y me he quedado completamente enamorada! Primero, por la exquisitez de sus tapas, como el risotto marinero, el pescado frito y el choco a la plancha y después por la amabilidad y la cercanía del fantástico camarero José Eduardo. Totalmente recomendable! Volveré, sintiéndome como en casa.

Great dining experience. I sat at the bar, the first late night in Sevilla (after broken train and ten hours of traveling). You can make a great meal from their tapas and larger selections. The chef creates the plates right behind the bar. The team provides a fun, good energy, genuine Spanish experience. They let me try to pronounce translations (from phone). The garlic shrimp, chickpeas with spinach and the pine nuts dessert were great!

Stumbled across this place and it turned out to be exactly the kind of old-school tapas bar we’d been searching for throughout Spain. We had such a fun night chatting with the staff — their few words of English and our even fewer words of Spanish made it all the more memorable. We tried the grilled sardines, black rice with calamari, tomato and tuna salad, spinach with chickpeas, and pork sirloin with whisky sauce — all delicious and highly recommended. This was one of those truly authentic experiences that make us want to travel.

There is no way another client named Clara is true. This is the only place in Spain where they called amigo, very friendly staff, very authentic restaurant. Clara, please go to your usual touristic restaurants. Amazing spot! ¡

Landed at 1030pm as an alternative to the bar I wanted to go to. Was quiet and empty but the bartender and the staff were warm and friendly to a hungry tourist. I ordered the black rice (arroz negra) and chickpeas + spinach (espinacas con garbanzos), and a glass of Frizzante. Excellent tapas - the chef came out to explain that he uses a local herb in the spinach. Very kind people and delicious, homey food in a classic taberna setting.

We visited Bar paco Gongora twice during our 5 days in Seville! We were served by Joe Vega and he was amazing! Made us feel right at home. The food was incredible - we had the rice, chickpeas and spinach, stewed pork, prawns in garlic - all of which were amazing and had us coming back for more!

Great traditional Sevilla bar. Can get very full sometimes, but if you’re happy to stand at the counter, it’s not a problem. The Gentleman in glasses was extremely efficient. He’s always checking if you need a top-up or more food. The olives here are great, but if you order them, you’ll definitely need a second beer! 😁

Awesome food, lacks a bit in the presentation department and the overall feeling of the place is a little bit dated. The server was a very eccentric character, not to everyone's taste, but overall a well meaning guy. Seems to be a local and well rooted establishment. You know what they say: support your locals!

Es una lástima, un sitio al que he ido varias veces y que siempre me ha gustado al que no volveré a ir. Entré un día con bullicio, miré si había alguna mesa libre por supuesto sin intención de sentarme sin antes preguntar. Justo en ese momento un impresentable camarero que estaba en la barra empieza a gritarme e increparme a mi y a todos mis amigos que no se puede pasar que nos se puede pasar así como así de una forma realmente exagerada. Lógicamente decidí irme junto a mis amigos. Realmente vergonzoso.

Over cook prawns, frozen cuttlefish, extremely bright lighting, rude service, expensive - we couldn't wait to get out of there. They opened 35 minutes late, we happily waited this time as we were recommended this place.
