I haven't had Dairy Queen in quite a while so I decided to give it a try tonight and was very glad I did. The food and service were amazing. What stood out the most to me was the young lady working the front alone was super friendly and she stayed busy the entire time I was waiting on my order, even though they weren't busy she stayed busy cleaning and looking for something to do which is a rare thing in the workplace anymore 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This is an excellent example of what a Dairy Queen should be. The dining room is awesome with three main areas of seating. The staff was fast, friendly and delivered food quickly and correctly. The food was hot and freshly cooked.

I am really thankful for how hard the girls were working today. It was busy and they still found the time to buy bananas at the store for our banana split.

Went through the drive thru for blizzards. They hit the spot on a hot day. The girl at the window turned each cup upside down. I think they're required to do that? Anyway, super good and made just right. My brother said his location in Louisiana offers pup cups. This place didn't, but could be they didn't see our pups or that they were too busy. We enjoyed our blizzards for sure. I was glad to see they had a mini size, which was just perfect.

Amazing prices compared to other Dairy Queen’s, well cleaned and managed, well stocked in the dining area with napkins and other, bathrooms were clean and well stocked as well, etc. The food didn’t taste gross and didn’t taste overly greasy, it tasted like ACTUAL real food and was fresh. Loved it and will be favoriting this specific Dairy Queen so we can come back if we’re ever in this area again!!

I’ve been through a few times and parked across the street, but tonight, I wanted somewhere to sit and have a meal…as I crossed the street, talking to my daughter on the phone, I informed her that there was sonic, and Dairy Queen…they both serve the same types of food; how does one choose…?? Her response, eat at whichever has the most customers…so, I walked in to a packed DQ, and was not disappointed…Mr Nathan quickly welcomed me, took my order, offered my drink cup and handed me my blizzard, flipped of course…as I patiently awaited my food, I loved walking around the area reading the history placards throughout the building…I knew I made the correct choice the second Mr Nathan delivered my food and checked to see if all was correct…the burger, onion rings, and one taco were actually beyond expectations…I had to save the other taco for later in the night…maybe because I filled up on my blizzard before my food was hot and ready…the rest of the crew, amazing…!!! Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and treated each other as family…not those family that just show up around Christmas for gifts, but those family that gather every weekend for cook outs and games…thank you all for the great food and amazing service…I now understand why more of the locals were at your location and not over at sonic…even the local officers of the law drove through to grab snacks…great job DQ family..!!! Much appreciated…!!!

I’d like to say that this place was clean even The restrooms were clean. The lady who took our orders is very friendly and she even bought us our meal. She made sure we were OK.

The chicken strips, fries, and sweet ice tea were very good. We received prompt and friendly service. I took one star off because it was rather expensive.

Friendly staff, fast service consistancy of food. I ordered a triple buster burger and it was hot juicy and out to me in about 6 minutes from order to table. With only 3 staff that's good service.

Nice people, bathrooms clean. Soft ice cream has changed and made me sick to my stomach. Steak basket was very good.

Stopped here after my Dr.s appointment to eat lunch. Everything we got was delicious and hot. Good customer service and the dining room was clean. Will go back again soon!

Found this DQ while on the road, and it was very popular. Food is okay, service is okay. It's in the process of remodeling, so restrooms are outside on a trailer. Menu has tacos and salads in addition to the usual DQ food. One of three fast food choices (the others being Chicken Express and Subway) in Seymour.

This Dairy Queen is located in the perfect spot for a quick lunch while traveling. I have been stopping here for years and have always had a great experience. The parking lot is easily accessible and the restrooms are always clean and functioning. The staff are always friendly and eager to help.

We went 5 minutes until closing time a and instead of servers with attitudes and resentment just wanting you to go home so they can go home, we got servers and cooks that were polite and attentive that served Fresh hot food and all around good vibes. Good job night shift. Yall give America hope! The floors were messy but it was closing and they were under staffed so it wasnt a big issue for me! ♡

When it comes to reviews, I am very partial to rating the entire experience. As such, let me begin by saying this was very close to being a 3 star because of the extremely long wait we had to endure. 10 mind in line to just place the order, then 25 mins to get our food. However, the servers behind the counter were amazingly chipper even though they knew they were deep in the weeds. Even their little monster showed that they were over 30 mins on a few orders. This was obviously due to being short staffed. They only had 2 workers behind the counter and 1 in the kitchen 😵. At the end of the day, service with a smile keeps this a 4 star rating. Keep up the good work, but remember to staff a little heavier on Sundays during that peak time.

Don't be mistaken by name. They do have pretty good burgers. I mainly go there one thing. The peanut butter parfait. It's simple and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant over the sonic. Sonic gives me food poisoning, dairy queen however does not.

Grilled chicken sandwich was yummy but they was out of a lot of stuff and my husbands burger was so dry he said he needed to dip it in water and we had to wait 20 min + for our food in drive through

1st the speaker is out so you have to wait to get to the window to order then the kid had airpods in his ears and couldn't hear the order till he finally decided to remove one and it was still wrong the burgers had no cheese and though the fries were fresh they had way too much salt. I get there are not many choices here in Seymour but wouldn't be my 1st or 2nd choice again. I guess to their advantage much of their business is probably traveler's they never see a 2nd time

It's an oasis in the middle of nowhere. Pretty clean and friendly people. About the ONLY place to eat out in Seymour. If you've been in another DQ, this is exactly like all the others! Will go back if I'm in the mood for good ice cream and a hamburger.

Usual DQ experience. Wait staff a little unfriendly. No one in the restaurant and food took 10+ minutes to arrive.

This DQ is really hit or miss. It relies ALOT on the staff working when you go in. My family and I have had nice meals and desserts there. We have also had staff that was so lazy rude, with cold food and even the drinks tasted off, and music so weirdly loud that we just to go home and eat. Recently we have decided not to go there anymore as we are never sure if we are going to get a good meal. The 3 stars are for all of the people that were actually pleasant and did their jobs well otherwise it'd be 0.

I'm being gracious at the 3 star. It appears that there were only 2 employees working at noon on a holiday weekend; thus, not real quick service. The burgers were satisfactory, but you had to get over all the dead crickets laying on the floor at various places throughout the dining area. This place needs a deep cleaning, more staff, and just more attention to the dining environment. Also, half of the fountain drinks were out of order and they had no cheese for cheese burgers. I have a feeling that if DQ corporate walked in there, the owner would get the belt!

Service was ok, but the steak fingers were way too salty, and they had been clumped together in the fryer and had spots where it wasn't cooked. My wife got the burger basket and liked hers.

Buns were cold, burger patty was cold, cheese wasn't even melted. Fries were hot, at least they had that but main issues were the buns, not fresh at all!! Won't go back

I got sick... The last three times I have been there never a problem but oh man. The staff were really nice and it was clean but iono the gravy was off. I always get the same thing and didn't taste right and the rest of my trip was ruined which was a huge bummer. One star because I got sick but the people who got burgers totally fine. I got CFS fingers and I think some thing was off with the gravy. We were treated well. For all I know it's a supply chain issue bec everyone else was fine.

Stopped in at DQ in Seymour and the experience was pretty disappointing. We waited around 30 minutes for our order, even though it wasn’t very busy. Several tables in the dining area were dirty and didn’t look like they’d been wiped down in a while. Service felt below par overall. The one positive was that the food was at least hot when we finally got it.

Passing through town, and stopped by the drive thru. Only ordered 2 burger combos, and waited for over 30 min. I thought they were butchering the beef and growing the potatoes for the fries, as long as it took to make a couple of lunches! We were the only ones in the drive thru. The good finally arrived, and it was bland. The fries looked as though they were cooked in old oil, and lacked salt. Should have went to the Aslups across the street.

Worst burger i have ever ate!! My french frys looked like they had been cooked 3 different times dark dark brown not golden brown. Do not go here for food. This place should be closed down!! And i eat alot of fast food.

Horrible experience! We were passing through and decided to stop real quick. As we approached drive thru thru asked us to wait. We waited a good five min and they never got bavk to us. I tried to get their attention and with no luck i decided to just run knside real quick only to see that the line of UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS was backed all the way to the door. At that point i didnt need an explanation i only needed to take the hint save my money and get the heck outta there! Ordered 5 number 4's. Took them 30 minutes to make it, and when i got my food, it was all grilled chicken sandwiches. The blizzards were great though.

We are in a semi. Always stop here when coming through town. Inside was closed, no signs anywhere, and no one came to explain!!!! People in a semi can not go through the drive through. Not happy we were ready eat.

The worst customer service! Waited a while at the drive through to even get someone to speak to me, come to find out the speaker is broken. Then I get up to the window to order and the person helping me was very rude.

Consistently the worst customer service I've ever experienced at ANY restaurant. Today was the last straw, received a hamburger without the meat. Returned to this location to have it remedied, they took the meatless hamburger back, placed meat on it, and handled it without gloves. I am fairly certain that is not the correct procedure, and it was also a waste of 30 minutes of my time to drive all the way back. I will never purchase food here ever again.

Worst service by a manager at a fast food establishment in the whole state of Texas. The youngest, rudest, most inexperienced excuse for a manager I've ever encountered in 50 years. If I could start a public boycott of this establishment, I would.

As much as I love Dairy Queen, this one is awful. We waited nearly 15 minutes in the drive-thru just get our food, which was subpar. The staff was rude and too distracted by a lack of customers. The flavor of the burger I ordered was overwhelmed by the taste of onions and mustard. I will be avoiding this place.

ATTN MANAGEMENT/CORPORATE: Horrible customer service, no ice cream, terrible attitudes. If you're ever in town, keep driving. The store closes at 11:00 pm on Saturday, at 10:15 pm they had already torn downt ice cream machine, thrown out the gravy, and turned off the outside lights. Upon ordering from the severely limited number of remaining options, they refused to substitute a side of ranch for the gravy that they couldn't provide with the meal. Then the cashier threw her broom across the kitchen when we attempted to purchase said ranch. After all of this, it took 20+ minutes to receive our "fast food."

we visited during business hours and lobby was closed, went up to the drive thru and nobody would take our order or respond to our voices, drove up to the window and nobody came up, there’s some cars parked in the drive thru area indicating that there’s employees at the store. Sad that we visited from a town 45 minutes away and left with nothing but a bad experience.

Forty minutes for two burgers and fries. Lots of flies inside. Really dirty, and tables were not clean. This place has been disgusting for years. Subway has been a much better choice, but it has closed. This Dairy Queen has had its last chance.

Stopped here for a quick treat on a long road trip. Rude customer service, I could see them playing around and lollygagging to get orders filled. Waited 15 mins for 2 blizzards and 2 ice cream cones. One of my blizzards didn't even have the added candies, it was just ice cream and syrup. Didn't notice this till I drove off. When I called and asked for a refund they said I had to come back to the store and couldn't do anything over the phone. I couldn't afford the time of going back through the line with my fussy babies in the car. Couldn't believe the lack of concern from manager on the phone. Don't stop here if you want quick service and proper orders filled. Aereil B was my server.

Asked for the new cookie dipped cone and they claimed it was all frozen and were not able to serve me any of it. Blamed management saying they were forced to take the dip out for something else. Don’t offer a new product if you’re not going to serve it.

Staff is rude very unprofessional. Got a couple of blizzards they were made wrong the cashier argued they were not but they must have got them switched any way. They were wrong and the manager started throwing blizzard toward trash can and started gripping and was very rude yelling at my wife. So we left never to be back again as long as he is working there. I was in the restaurant to order food and witnessed an employee's child walking around behind the counter and to the kitchen carrying a live frog. I complained to the person taking our order, and she related the complaint to the child's mother who I suspect was the manager. Nothing was done, and the kid continued carrying a frog around the food, therefore we cancelled our order and left. Service is bad at any time other than weekday lunch.

I've been to three different stores in 6 months and every time I have instant regret followed by nausea shortly after. I didn't go back for the part of my order they screwed up. I was apologetic to my family for not enough food as ordered and paid for but glad to split my disgusting fish sandwich. I will always save a special place in my childhood heart for carefree hot summers and dilly bars but I just can't treat my adult body and mouth with such disregard. WE'RE DONE EATING THERE!!!

Dirty!!!!! The fryer oil obviously hadn't been changed in a week. The chicken tenders were super dark brown. The women's restroom had NO paper towels, NO soap and BOTH stalls were filthy! Absolutely the worst dairy queen in Texas, period. It was 4th of July and they were open and we were traveling home. I decided to call in our order and was told only dine in or drive thru. That puzzled me but I went in and placed our order. I asked the kid ringing me up why there was no call in orders. It would make sense to me to only allow drive thru or call.ahead carry out, especially on a holiday. He responded to me with, "why do I have to work on a holiday?" I then asked him hoping he at least gets time and a half. He then decided to respond saying that I didn't understand. Anytime a customer asks about the call in only policy he responds with that to keep them quiet. I asked him, "so you decide to respond with attitude to me?" He said Yes. Nothing else was said but he continually wiped the bottoms of his shoes with his barrel hand and then proceeded to fix customers ice cream. Caveat Emptor!

If I could give my experience there zero stars, I would. Passing through on trip from OK to NM, my mother and I thought we'd grab a quick bite. BOY, WERE WE WRONG! Nothing quick about it. Took over 45 min. for our 2 burger/2 fry order in the drive-thru. Half-hour mark, I called DQ Corp. to complain. During the call, an employee tried to give me the wrong food. Turns out that food was the for the car behind me, which had only been there about 25 minutes. I will say, when we got the food, it was very tasty. There was no apology, no offer of any compensation.THREE WEEKS LATER, I got an email from CANDICE HIGGINS, saying they would retrain their staff. I replied to the email, and pointed out that I didn't believe it was a staff training issue, and the fact it took her three weeks to respond to a corporate complaint was a good reflection on why her employees were also not timely. Told her that the least she could do was comp me the meal, and that I would be sure to mention that in the review I was going to post. I NEVER HEARD BACK... hence, my zero star review. The best advice I can give you is - don't wait until you are hungry to go there - try to plan ahead and arrive about an hour before you get hungry.

Ordered 2 steak finger baskets at drive through speaker was bad! Got to the window and received the 2 ice teas and I ordered the un sweet and was given the sweet tea and was asked to drive up and they would bring us our Order,was not given the straws? Ten minutes later the order arrived had to ask for the straws.Hit the road and started to eat and the fries were limp and cold the gravy was thin and the Texas toast was burned, steak fingers was the only eatible part.then I Called the manager and was told to come back and she would give me some new fries.I was 20 miles down the road and had already thrown it in the trash. I’ve stopped at this Dairy Queen location several times on drives from DFW to Lubbock, and I’ve always received great and quick customer service. Traveling through with a baby and a 6 year old. Went in thinking it would be quick. Ordered 2 hunger buster combos and a kids chicken strip dinner. 20 minutes went by, and we finally received 2 burgers. No fries or kids meal yet. Then we were informed they were out of chicken strips, but they could “cut up some chicken” for our kids meal. 10 more minutes went by. Nothing was great, customer service was horrible. Wanted to charge us for fries because they forgot to charge us for a combo even though we said multiple times while ordering we wanted combos. Very frustrating. Lack of customer service. No owning up to their mistakes and errors. Do not eat here. Go to Sonic instead. Ugh.

This place is absolutely horrendous. Do not spend your money here. They can't get an order right to save their life. But hey, who am I to judge. If you enjoy burnt burgers, wilted lettuce and rotten tomatoes you'll love this place. If, however, you have a more sophisticated palate I'd recommend dog food. It's better according to my dog, who refused to eat the burger I just tried to give him. He'd have eaten the cheese, but they forgot that part.

Got food for the family after 10+ minutes finally got the food my child's steak finger and fries were thrown upside down in the bag same with my fries and got a number 2 with bacon got no bacon went back in they made a new burger and they put not even 1 piece of bacon

We ordered one blizzard... ONE. And they took more than half an hour to give it to us... The woman cashier purposely started serving OTHER people that ordered AFTER us instead of fulfilling our order. They are severely understaffed. Only put 1 star because I can’t put nothing, workers suck, food sucks, takes forever, stinks, cashier couldn’t take order because they needed to brush teeth. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy . And even worse the sauce costs 80 cents ordered chicken tendies and told me sauce ain’t come with WTH . This place needs to be shut down.

We pulled up to the drive through order station and heard “be right with you”. Then we sat for 20 minutes and didn’t hear a peep. We pulled around to window and the lady says “sorry I just got it working”. Sooo you couldn’t have come outside to tell us that? We could’ve ordered 20 min ago at the window if you had just not been lazy. We finally order our two blizzards and then here we are sitting AGAIN for ten minutes just for the lady to come back “what are you waiting on?” Like what?! I watched the entire time we sat.. Everyone inside waiting for the simplest things. At least 5 people working and not a one looked like they had a single ambitious bone in their body. Seemed like they all smoked before shift and couldn’t care less. We won’t be coming back and you shouldn’t either.

We stopped here for an order of fries and a cone. 23 minutes later, we had to reapproach, and ask for status. One girl, Leah was working and running circles around everyone else. This place needs a massive deep clean, some maintenance and then some retraining or extra staffing. I’ve stopped at this DQ for years but tonight was just poor poor service.

Don't eat here. We ordered ice cream cones and a Blizzard. Easy, right? No! Of the four people wearing DQ uniforms and behind the counter, only one person was actually working. And he was barely working. The ice cream orders of two groups that placed orders after us were filled before ours. We were visiting from Oklahoma we love DQ but this restaurant was bad! We stopped to use the restroom and grab a bite to eat, the restrooms were not clean, wife said the women's restroom didn't have any tp, we ordered they got the wife's order wrong when I received my food the fries were cold wife asked if we could get some fresh fries when we finally got fries there was so much salt on them we couldn't eat them. Stay away from this DQ trust me!! Bad bad experience!! If I could give them 0 starts I would!!

I had the unfortunate experience of dining at the Dairy Queen in Seymour, TX, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy. If I could give it zero stars, I would. First and foremost, the restaurant was plagued by a swarm of flies. I couldn't take a single bite without swatting these pesky insects away. It's astonishing that a place serving food couldn't maintain basic hygiene standards. The restroom was equally horrifying. There was a layer of poo crust on the toilet seat that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The urinal was even worse, with a pool of urine stagnating in it. It was not only disgusting but a potential health hazard. To make matters worse, our order was a comedy of errors. They forgot several items we had ordered, and when we brought it to the attention of the staff, they seemed indifferent and unapologetic. It's baffling how a place can mess up such a simple task as taking orders accurately. And if you thought things couldn't get any worse, they did. There was not a single bottle of ketchup to be found on any of the tables. I asked a server for some, and they returned with a dirty, half-empty bottle that looked like it had been sitting there for ages. I couldn't bring myself to use it. Overall, the Dairy Queen in Seymour, TX, is an absolute disaster. It's unsanitary, disorganized, and the staff appears to have no regard for customer satisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other dining options in Seymour that are far more deserving of your time and money.

As soon as we walked in the girl at the front turned off a light to a seating area. It was a few minutes till 9 and I asked if they were closing. They dont close until 11 on Saturdays, but she said she went to high school and was trying to get everything ready to close. She threw the cups across the counter at us and they landed on the floor. I was going to get the steak fingers, but I saw a sign for a deal on a chicken basket and said I would get it instead because it was only $5. She rung it up as a meal that cost more without even asking. She was very bubbly, but still came off as rude. Very disappointing... smh. We had to wait awhile for out food, but at least it was fresh.
