This McDonald's is the BEST McDonald's in the entire world, and I'll tell you why! It's really quite simple, but in the sea of McDonald's in Los Angeles, to put it quite bluntly. They are not petty. When I order my sundae, I like to add extras and I've noticed this is the only McDonald's that doesn't charge 35 freaking cents for each customizations, my sundae costs the same price no matter what I add and since I add it all, I really appreciate not paying 6 dollars for a sundae...it makes my day!! Also the staff is awesome and friendly, the service is fast and accurate and for all those reasons I declare this McDonald's to be THE BEST McDonalds IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!

McDonald's food is designed to be delicious. Too often we get served old food that was prepared minutes ago, before we ordered it so it sits beneath the heat lamps yet gets cold. The secret is to specify when ordering that you would like your food "made to order". You may have to pull to the side and wait for them to bring your food out, but what you'll get will be fresh and hot and as designed: delicious. I had a double quarter pounder no onions this way and I still can't stop thinking about it. Do yourself a favor next time: specify you want yours "made to order". You'll be glad you did👍🏾

This Mcds has a friendly staff of all ages, whether it's a kind motherly type bringing your order to the table or a teenager cashier, all makes for a pleasant experience. The drive-thru is FAST considering how long the line was, THANK YOU MCDS of ShOks

Yes, it a regular McDonald's. But I am craving something sweet and it is early in the morning. Plus, I don't want to leave the car. A greeter smiles and takes my order and in a few minutes I am on my way to my next task. One has to work hard not to find something appealing to grab for a snack or a meal for yputself or the kids.

Always good food. Very poor layout for the drive through. Rather than having the entry of the line start behind the building, it backed up to the busy Ventura Blvd. leaving cars backup into the street. Very long line and confused people taking the orders and giving the food. After confirming my order 3 times they still left out part of the order. Still paid for everything.

Quick easy and this is my neighborhood McDonald's so the staff is familiar with me and they are just so nice.

Yep it's just a McDonald's. Yep it's the same menu as all the other McDonald's. Yep it has a drive-thru. Yep it has the same quality of minimum wage employees as all the other McDonald's. Yet McDonald's has a magic formula that keeps people coming back. My wife and her sister love that Southwestern salad what's a grilled chicken on top. The food here is amazing but it's always so darn crowded! I can never find a place to sit and relax. I've only ever been on the weekend, and I noticed there were a ton of kids here. Maybe it's different for a date night, I will have to check it out and possibly repost about it!

I can always count on McD's to be unfresh, pretty much regardless of location in LA. Some locations are better than others. This one is a 50/50 location.

Very wonderful service. Some of the best I've experienced in fast food. My only problem is the drive thru layout often makes the line jut out into the street and blocks the entrance to the lot. I got into a brief charades game with an angry old man in the drive thru who thought I was trying to cut in front of him, so he wouldn't let me into the lot. I had to drive around and almost got into an accident. Not McDonald's fault, but just keep that in mind. There is a side entrance on Colby that's much easier to access.

Tried the "New, Limited Time BLT QPC"... It was rather tasty!!! I recommend you try it... This particular venue has a very busy drive thru, sometimes backed up on to Ventura Blvd. Line moves at a decent pace, but still takes some time.

Back at McDonalds to get food for the Nanobots living inside if me so they can have their food source and I can feel normal again. It's like I have to do this every 2 months.

2025 Update. A lot more expensive, of course. But still nice staff. VERY ANNOYING Sirius Radio advertising playing NON-STOP over restaurant speakers. That's it. Why am I paying high prices AND listening to advertising that is obviously bringing the owner more revenue. We've paid ENOUGH. Play songs or the radio over the dining room speakers. This is bullcrap. Good food. Decent prices with the app coupons.

As long as you use the McDonald's app you can still get a decent deal with free items. Unfortunately our wise politicians have raised prices so high in California for fast food it makes more sense to go to a locally owned place to get better value. Sad state of affairs but votes have consequences. Higher prices and lost jobs geniuses. I like the double quarter pounder and fries and sodas are always top notch at McDonald's.

The food here is reliably good and service is generally fast, allowing for the huge number of mobile orders they seem to receive through their app and through Doordash, etc. The atmosphere has declined considerably since the recent change of ownership; the restaurant used to subscribe to Sirius radio, the Blend, and now it is stone silent. Whether they think so or not, music influences customers' feelings about their overall experience. Probably a false economy to cut it off.

I stopped by this McDonald location to get my fries. I used the mobile app to place my order ahead of time and to use their deal on the any size fries. This McDonald only has one drive thru lane so that's why it get usually backed up into the street. When I came, there was only three cars in front of me. When it was my time to order, I just told them my code and that was it. They handed me my fries which a bag when I put no bag because I didn't want to get charge the fee but they give it anyway. My fries were filled all the way which is always ideal and they were good too. I ate it with the other food I got around the same area.

Sadly, shrinkflation has hit McDonald's. The hot fudge sundae was half the size, but cost more money than earlier this year. I would not order it again. Very disappointing.

McDonald's is McDonald's! Full of fat and salt. But my grandson loves it, so I treat him every once in a while. The good thing about this particular McDonald's is they do move the line along rather quickly.

Ok customer service. They just remodeled so it looks nice; but half the time the fries are crispy and the big mac is put together poorly; leaning sideways before you even open the box.

Ordered 4 big mac's and 3 large fries plus drink @ $40.85. Requested 4 bbq sauces and 8 ketchup packets. Was asked to pull over to waiting area, reminded them of sauces and waited in parking area while the prepared order. Order arrived and we drove off parking area to Ventura Boulevard. Opened bags at home with a tiny plastic bag with 3 ketsups and ONE, yes 1 bbq sauce. Bring your own condiments to this location otherwise you'll be out of luck.🙄

Rating for drive through only. Regular McDonald's menu usually prepared fairly promptly but with surprisingly frequent mistakes. They fix mistakes without much hassle but it is annoying to have to wait or go back to the restaurant to get your order corrected. Lesson is CHECK your order in the bags every time before leaving. Despite below-average quality at this McDonald's this location on Ventura is often most convenient. Seems to have adequate parking in their own lot surrounding the restaurant.

If you go inside, everything will work out ok. The drive thru has some issues. It is as though they can't hear your order. Even when they do hear it, and it is displayed correctly on the screen, you may not get what you ordered. The quality is as good as any other location, it is just that they cannot seem to complete an order accurately.

Quality is consistent. I Always use the drive through at this location. I have to wait sometimes off to the side for my food but they are usually fast and quality is what you expect from McDonald's.

Went through the drive through and it was quick enough on a Saturday morning (about 10 minutes from start to finish). My biggest complaint is that the iced coffee was bad. I got a sugar free vanilla iced coffee and it looked and tasted like it was expired.

As far as mcdonalds go this one probably is the best FOOD wise, but holy crap the service is AWFUL. I've waited 40 minutes for my garbage food now and was snickered at when I asked what was taking so long. I ordered large fries and plain cheese burger. Very simple. If they cant do their jobs, maybe they should hire someone who is more willing.

If you're from out of town or state, McDonald's charges .10 cents for the paper bag your food comes in. Chicken nuggets taste like cardboard. Service was good.

Haven't been to a McDonald's in awhile due to diagnosis of celiac. Came here out of desperation and ordered a double quarter pounder, no bun, and got 2 hamburger patties. I've been eating at higher end burger joints for a few years now, grass fed or organic etc, THAT IS WHAT REAL MEAT TASTES LIKE. These patties tasted weird and bad, trust me, eat better meat and you'll see. Food and service good as always, but management ignored the homeless person sleeping on a table feet up, shoes off. And the smells coming off from this person where just horrible. It made me sick, and did not enjoyed my food as well. This shouldn't be allowed.

This place has really gone downhill. Used to be quick, but since the minimum wage increases, they’ve let got a lot of staff go and your order can take between 10-15 minutes. Feels like hardly anyone is working or making food. Cars in the drive thru are always backed up with orders. Oh yeah, the food costs way more now, too.

Unfotunately the wait time at this McDonald's is unacceptable. Several times I have seen them take 20 to 30 minutes to have the order ready. I have seen customers asking g for refunds because they cannot wait any longer. Today I used the self order screen and after paying with credit card, the slip came out without anything printed on it. They subsequently lost the order until I brought attention of it to the manager.

Not fast food experience. Expect to wait 20+ minutes for a single order if there's any sort of line. I have no idea how any food establishment could be so slow/ unorganized. I gave it 2 stars because they never messed up the accuracy of the order when you eventually get it and the inside is always clean.

Took too long to get my order, some how it was gone from their screen and their self screen machine did not have the receipt roll any more I request the clerk for my receipt which I never got after all but she gave the order number, This action had the attention of the same clerk and saw me for several minutes standing, saw she notice the food orderes were already up to 10 numbers and talk to the manager and went to look at their screen for my food order, and notice somebody else got lucky with mine. My meals did not have salt pepper and mermelad, I notice this at home, and if did not check at their desk another meal had missed the sausage, plate was returned to add the sausage. Easy I spent about 25 mins.

Mcdonalds place deserves all the hype. I tried the truffle mushroom pizza and it was unreal – earthy, rich, and so satisfying. The crust is probably the best part – slightly charred with that perfect wood-fired flavor. The staff are also clearly passionate about what they do and were happy to answer all my questions. The inside is clean, cozy, and had a great local vibe. You can tell they care about quality. I’ll definitely be back!

We ordered the fries well done and were told to drive forward to wait for our order. After 15 minutes of waiting, I called and asked about the order and they said the well done was taking longer. When I got my food 20 minutes after placing the order, the nuggets and the McDouble were both well done. Who even orders well done nuggets :( I noticed the nuggets and had them remade but I didn’t realize the burger was also well done. It was so bad and almost black. I have pictures of both items. Went here for a quick lunch from work. I went through the drive thru because lunch is a tight window of 30 minutes, they made me park in the reserve spot because my cheeseburger and McMuffin were too difficult to put together and I sat there for about 10 minutes to have to get out, go inside to get my food. As I am trying to get someone's attention, I'm completely ignored and finally a manager turn and informs me that they went to my car. They didn't. I made a poor decision I know but I wasn't expecting that my food would take that long.

I bought my breakfast and coffee, this morning and before my food came out I went outside to smoke a cig and drink my coffee, after I finished my cigarette I came back in picked up my order and asked for a refill of my coffee and the manager refused to refill my cup because I had stepped outside , I told him that I was right outside the door smoking and that I was still on the property and they still refused to fill my cup of coffee I had purchased 5 min prior . Wow. 3 employees that don't know how to use the McDonald's app. Including the manager!! Will not be coming back after the RUDE comments made by the manager on duty. It's not my all your employees don't know how to do their job! Very frustrating experience with a simple coupon.

The drive through is hard to get in to, only one way- on Ventura, if you try any other way, its tough or impossible. They don't even have the Value Menu posted in the drive-through, like- that's the reason I go McDonalds, why is part of your menu not posted? Stop being lazy and cheap and post it like any other fast food chain in the world. The people there seem unhappy and have poor customer service. I'll be avoiding this location in the future. Asked for buffalo sauce and gave me BBQ. Can't even get a simple 2 item order correct.

Update:now charging for sauce....apparently 20 nuggets and a large child nugget meal should be able to share sauce or pay for more to get the appropriate amount....also increasingly overrun with trasient activity.....oh and forgot my son's Happy meal toy...we will never be back but congratulations you saved $0.02 on a pack of BBQ sauce and made a toddler cry...

Staff looked at me when I walked up to the counter to order and just went about their business and ignored the fact that I was there, after waiting and realizing it was pointless to try to get help, it was faster to just place my order on the kiosk. It's more efficient than the people working there.

Had to go back to the counter 3 times for the same order because they got it wrong. Every time the manager acted like it was my fault he screwed up. It was a simple order. A #7 for breakfast. That's it. It's also sad saying when a McDonald's is subpar but this food even was. Terrible

The team working at night is really awful, they don’t understand the order don’t press the Diet Coke sign on the cup and then argue about it saying to me to guess which coke was the diet or regular instead of just making a new one directly when I asked nicely for it and not arguing 2min to obtain a new drink. Just do your job correctly even if your shift ends in15min.

12/26/20 8:30pm Terrible customer service. It took them a while to realize I was standing at the register. My husband had a worse experience. Just not helpful at all, poor communication, didn't seem to care at all about how they spoke to each other in front of the customer or how they addressed us. My husband couldn't get the bathroom code to work with any of the restrooms and they just said oh well and never came from behind the counter to help or assist after being asked for assistance. They got his order wrong as well.

THEY ARE OUT OF COCA COLA PRODUCTS WEEKLY! How do you not figure out that if you run out of the most popular beverage at your location, you don't increase your orders the next week. This location runs out of soda at least 2-3 times a month for a day or two at a time. It's so frustrating to wait in the never ending drive thru line that is ALWAYS 20 cars deep with no sense of urgency from employees to quickly get the cars in and out just to be told your out of all beverages except coffee and organe juice basically! Get it together McDonalds Management! Seriously, what a joke!

This branch went against McDonald's corporate setting and are charging almost $4 on Large fries. That makes absolutely no sense when all other branches in Los Angeles are charging between $1.79 and $2.79 for large fries. I have been eating here for over 10 years and i think am done with this place. They have a very nice friendly staff but the prices are just way too much. It makes absolutely no sense. I hope McDonald's corporate resolves this ongoing issue.

I come to this McDonalds every Friday for breakfast. Its the one I come to ever week because they serve until 12:00 pm. I just came last Friday and now this week I am told that they are no longer serving breakfast until 12:00 pm. I thought the worker was new so spoke go the manager who is working on shift at 10:50 am on 12/02/2022. Now he tells me that they stopped serving breakfast a month ago. I told him that was impossible because I just got breakfast last Friday 11/25/2022. But he denied my words and said,”No, No, No we stopped a month ago” with a mocking tone. I still decided to get something to eat even tho I had been now embarrassed in front of other customers but my order was given to me wrong as well as I now had old oil tasting fries. I decided to give this McDonalds another chance but all I was given was bad tasting food, a wrong order and being lied to my face.

The worst McDonald’s in the history of McDonald’s. They work like turtles — you wait 20, sometimes even 30 minutes for your order. They act like they’re running a Michelin-star restaurant. No one ever told them this is supposed to be fast food — people don’t wait here, they’re supposed to get their order right away. If the founder of McDonald’s were alive to see this, he would’ve died on the spot.

Tired of every time going through drive thru having to park in numbered spots and wait. The last time only 1 other car parked to the side waiting and no one behind me. I understand if extremely busy but this was ridiculous with no one else in line to order. This happens way too often and from now on I’ll take my business to Encino McDonalds just down the street. Extremely poor management. I've personally observed the manager inside. Male. He can't keep up with the demand of this location. I have no complaint on the younger workers here as they actually have a sense of urgency. Perhaps just their language but what kind of professional language can we expect here? Everytime I order ahead using the app I wait for about 15 minutes and I’m usually told very rudely to wait on a number parking space. I have no trouble doing that because I used to work fast food and I get that it can get busy. Today I waited for 40 min for a mobile order just watching all the cars that ordered after me get their food. I tried to talk to an employee and said excuse me to ask about the food and he just said give me a second and walked away.

I was in there a few days ago and it was very busy so I was patient . Just to get my order taken , and I was the only one in line , took over 10 minutes. Then I waited over 25 minutes just to see my order # on the screen . Then some lady said she felt sorry for me (her words) because I had been standing there for so long . Then one of the employees wanted my receipt so I gave it to them and still another 10 minutes before I got my order. They said they through in a free apple pie for my trouble and I thought that was pretty nice- just to get out to the car and see my French fries were missing . I then took a bite of my burger and it was horrible . Cold and just bad. My number was 122 and my order cost $17 something . 2 quarter pounders, 1 French fries , and 2 drinks . Medium and large. I gave the burgers to my dogs when I got home. The poor manager was working so hard , he was just overwhelmed and frazzled. Everyone was complaining, even the door dash guys .

The app tricked me. It let me order, I went to pick it up and they were closed. Granted it was Thanksgiving, but there were five other cars there also waiting for nobody to bring us food. And there’s no way to get my money back. I’m really annoyed.

You can place an order here at any time and you will always have problems. The order takes a very long time to prepare and every time they do not put in some item that has been paid for!! Today they refused to give me ice cream in my order, because the icemachine in this garbage dump is always not working. That is, I paid the money and they didn’t give me the goods!!! This is not the first time. The restaurant administration is apparently waiting for someone to go to court and doesn’t want to change anything

This location uses the Handicap Parking Spots and Curbside pickup spots to have people wait for their orders. Not ADA compliant as far as I know. My mother, who requires handicap ♿️ access, was unable to park because the spots were taken. We clearly heard the Drive Thru personnel directing people to park there and wait for their order.

Very rude management, not want to fix the mistakes they did by messing up my whole order, that was only 2 breakfast deluxe and they messed up, went I call to complain the lady pick up the phone 5 min later and she was only apologized and offers a pie that was how she want to fix the mistakes, I ask for a full refund by she denied, I contact corporate and they say I should have my money back but still no one on that store want to give me my money back. I so disappointed is unveiled how the management is so poor on that location

Look, if you're going to raise your prices, then you need to raise your quality of customer service, Most definitely, the food really sucked!! Service is terrible. But what do you expect from cheap food . I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Never again. This McDonald's sucks...

Came in drive through and Odered a 5 dollar meal combo with a Diet Coke NO ICE! she repeated the Oder and even said no Ice, the girl that took my Oder was named Kimberly do, as I go to the second window, I see the same girl BUT SHE HANDED ME MY DIET COKE WITH ICE when I specifically asked for no ice when I kindly asked for her to remove the ice she said “alright buddy move along”, I was totally unhappy with the service! And told her in n out could never!

Unfortunately I was mad with a whole lot of attitude and and the person did leave me mid-sentence and decided to go fill orders with no explanation and I wanted to simply just get additional toys with my kids meal

This McDonald's is severely understaffed. This is what happens when minimum wage is raised and instead of paying people a living wage, managers and McDonald's corporate offices hire a skeleton crew to run their stores. The staff looked overworked, tired, and not focused on what they were doing. I went to this McDonald's at 9 at night and the drive through wait was 30 minutes and I had only two cars in front of me. It's not the staff's fault and probably not even management's fault. This is what greed looks like and the customers and staff pay the price. Shame on you, McDonald's.

This McDonald’s forces customers to pull up to parking spots instead of just giving your food at the window. They deliberately to make their own store look better when it’s actually worse for the customer. They wait till a bunch of orders stack up in the back before bringing them all out to the parked cars. This often means when you’re the first car in line you get a cold order because you had to wait for everyone else behind you. They are gaming corporate and trying to manipulate their order times or something. Something needs to be done. This shit is annoying

HORRIBLE!! We ordered drive through and when we came up to the window they asked us what we ordered? We told them and they made us wait 45 mins for a snack wrap and 2 cheeseburgers. We finally decided to go inside and I seen so many people disappointed with the service. Worse experience ever.

I watched 5 employees gathered at the front talking while there was a solid 4 or 6 customers waiting for their order. They were so preoccupied with their conversations, they could care less. No manager in sight, no expiditer, just a bunch of employees having lunch time convos instead of doing their job. If I was the district manager I would give all these employees a write up, including the manager for not doing the managers job

This McDonald’s will accept orders on the app for items they do not have. Even though this is my most convinent McDonald’s, I will have to drive to better managed McDonald’s that keep their equipment in good condition and their shops full stocked.
