Absolutely delicious lunch. No reservations at this restaurant but despite its popularity we were accommodated immediately. Lovely dining room. Convivial atmosphere. Delightful service. We had the cotechini con lenticchie and the scallopini which were delicious. We will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant. Quick and friendly service, amazing food. It is larger in the back. The menu is kinda short but everything is home made and delicious. Best risotto and tiramisu I've tried in my life. Not suited for people with mobility disabilities, the space is packed and the toilet is down a very tight stair.

The place is very cozy, and the fact that the owners are really involved I think makes it special. One of them receives you at the entrance and the other is in charge of the kitchen and constantly checking if all tables are well served. The food is very good and also very affordable. It is also served fast. €6.5 for 1st dish and €8.5 for 2nd dish, but we paid a promotion which if you order them together you pay €14. Note: they are also served together. All the waiters are very kind, specially Ian (don’t know if you write his name like that) who was very gentle.

I came here two days in a row for Lunch because the food was incredible—Even the most simple pasta dishes were delicious!! And for the price range? Amazing. I wish it was opened for dinner because I would have dined there twice a day. For lunch, I arrived a little after 12 pm and the owner welcomed me with a big smile to dine in. All of the wait staff was incredibly helpful. I do recommend grabbing a table before 12:30 pm for lunch because you can tell that it’s a local spot for lunch and it gets very full around 12:30-1pm. Also end your meal with the tiramisu, you won’t regret it!!

This place is SO good! Prices are amazing, and the food is always top notch. The restaurant was first opened in 1968 and it's no wonder it's still open! The staff is really nice and the food is Wonderful. I had the ragu and it was so nice to see a simple dish executed perfectly. The polenta is also delicious, and the desserts are perfect. It is seriously SO CHEAP!! Eat here, you won't regret it.

What a wonderful place of both food and service. I & my friend have tiny stomaches so they had to split the dishes into two. We ordered one full basic course with Risotto Gorgonzola, Scallopine di Maiale and Tiramisu (I hope I write these names right in Italian). The waiter was sooooo gentle and knew what to do. And the outdoor space is awesome (but Idk if it is really from the restaurant or it is just opened for the Covid time). Budget meal for a humble but romantic date 🤩. Highly recommend!

Ottimo posto, accogliente e caratteristico. Si mangia molto bene, il menu varia giornalmente e comprende anche pietanze tipiche milanesi. Alcuni piatti non sono particolarmente entusiasmanti, altri invece sono veramente goduriose. L'interno è tinto di un rosso brillante, sembra di essere stati catapultati nel passato. Gestore super simpatico. Ottimo locale per stare in compagnia.

Posto molto carino vicino il centro di Milano. Servizio veloce, personale molto attento e cortese. Piatti tipici della tradizione milanese. Molto affollato durante la pausa pranzo. Sicuramente un locale poco turistico. Consigliato

"Da Pino" è una trattoria storica situata nel pieno centro di Milano che è riuscita a trovare un ottimo connubio tra ambiente (sobrio ma allo stesso tempo informale ed accogliente), tradizione e prezzi contenuti che non ci si aspetterebbe da un luogo del genere, soprattutto per la posizione. Le portate sono genuine e caserecce ma ben curate e presentate, il personale cortese e sorridente. Per il pranzo è possibile optare per un menu fisso. Molto consigliato, magari per spezzare una passeggiata a piedi in centro, a chi ama i luoghi della vecchia Milano, che vanno purtroppo sempre più scomparendo.

Trattoria bar al centro di Milano. Veramente accogliente e tipica. Servizio molto eccellente e menù giornaliero molto buono. Io ho mangiato i nervetti con cipolla veramente buoni. Chef in sala molto bravo e complimenti per accostamento equilibrato. Qualità prezzo ottimo vista la posizione e il servizio.

Una trattoria tipica molto genuina con alimenti sani di qualità cucinati in maniera semplice . Ottimo qualità prezzo. Personale cordiale e spiritoso. Tempi di attesa lunghi!! Ma celeri nel loro servizio e nella gestione dell’attesa .

Siamo stati a pranzo, non accetta prenotazioni e quindi si lascia il nome e si aspetta fuori. Dentro di sta un po' pigiati. Menu corto ma di interesse. Abbiamo aspettato un po' prima di poter ordinare ed abbastanza per mangiare.

Capitato a caso per un pranzo di lavoro. Tutto ben cucinato , e a due passi dal Duomo sicuramente è un posto da ricordare!, non ho pagato quindi non so il prezzo

Cozy restaurant, but rather small and it got really busy at lunch so be there at noon. The food was fresh and tasty. Don't expect big portions, if you are really hungry take both first and second courses.

Hello fellow travelers to Milan. Are you looking for real Italian food? A place where the locals go? You owe it to yourself to come here. Here you will not find any Americanized food. The quality will not disappoint. Be warned as others have reviewed and stated this placed packs out, especially around 12:30. Warnings to Americans who have a limited pallet and do not know what real food is because all they have eaten in their life happens to come out of a frozen food section in a supermarket in the United States, should avoid this place? I usually attribute negative food reviews from American dinners because they do not understand the food culture. I ordered their polenta dish, exquisite. My spouse had a beef dish that was poached for many hours. Beautiful it was. I also ordered a side dish of lentils some of the best I've had. Look at the photos come dine here and enjoy!.

Everything tasted really good. Spaghetti looked ordinary but had an amazing texture. The tiramisu was also brilliant. I enjoyed some of the bread but the staff took it away whilst I was having the tiramisu, which was a shame. I don't like to waste food (especially so if it tastes great), so I do wonder what they did with the rest of the bread.

Went here because of the google reviews so thank you guys for helping me discover this place. Definitely a place you should check out if you want a nice and not too expensive lunch in Milan. This restaurant is a bit hard to find and the menu is in Italian so it might not be a perfect place for tourists. The staff were quite nice and helpful though. First and second dishes can be ordered as a set for 15 euros. You can also have desserts and drinks as well. They also served bread for free. However, for Asian people’s stomaches like my family’s, only 2 sets made us really full. It’s delicious and tastes very authentic. But it would be much nicer if we had understood the menu and been able to order what we really wanted. And also I don’t know why they charged us extra 6 euros. (The staff told me that they change the menu quite often so what I posted here might not be available.)

Wonderful experience. This is probably the place where you will receive your food the fastest time ever, guaranteed. Pasta is great prices are SUPER fair and the service is great. The tiramisu could be the best one I have tasted, the cream is the softest you will ever have, like a cloud melting in your mouth. Only setback and why I put 4 stars is that, I am no food expert but the base of the tiramisu was only in the middle of the circle which was a bit disappointing, but it seemed to change the second time I went there. The pictures are the first and second time. I would also recommend looking at the stairs to the bathroom. Amazing spiral of stairs. Anyways, I strongly recommend this.

Il locale è molto carino e il servizio rapido e gentile. Ci hanno accolto senza prenotazione e abbiamo atteso poco nonostante molta gente fuori ad aspettare.Sul cibo buoni gli antipasti (affettati); il piatto unico molto conveniente (15€ risotto + lonza)... Ok che i prezzi sono molto contenuti e quindi c'è poco da lamentarsi, però la pasta è arrivata totalmente in bianco con una bella cucchiaiata di ragù sopra da dover mescolare (migliorabile)

I prezzi sono certamente inferiori ai locali della zona, ma 4 euro x un cucchiaio di senape da barattolo del supermercato mi sembra proprio una vergogna. Un pezzetto di gallina lessa risicatissimo mi sembra proprio che meritasse un cucchiaio di senape come minimo gratuito. Capisco i costi degli affitti, del personale di tutto quello che vuoi ....ma è veramente sconveniente. Per il resto il locale è pulito e il personale gentile.

Ci siamo fermati qui perché avevamo poco tempo, ma volevamo mangiare un buon risotto alla parmigiana. È arrivato in 12 minuti!!! Era con poco sale e non ho sentito il parmigiano. Non credo che ci ritorno.

We arrived early and the table was immediately indicated, they answered quickly but without much patience to explain the menu and the options. We wanted to decide on an entry or a salad but the table attendant immediately served our chosen pasta. It was cold, not very tasty. As it was full and they needed the table we dispatched it right away, they wanted to charge us for the service for two people, but there was neither the bread basket nor the table set nothing, I asked for a cheese complement for a treat and they didn’t like the order. And when it came to complaining about the charge for this badly done service, the gentleman who does not speak English made extremely rude gestures when demonstrating the lack of welcome. The gentleman who charged us wanted to explain as if I wasn’t understanding what they wanted, that the charge is like a service fee, a courtesy for the table set and the breads. (Which didn’t exist)

What a disappointment this turned out to be. Google suggests 10 - 20 euros but as you can see from my bill it was almost 40. That was after the second bottle of water (which I had never ordered or received) was deducted. Yes, always check the bill before paying. House red wine was effervescent and had to be sent back in exchange for a glass of bottled wine. Other reviewers are correct, portions are small but adequate, though lacking in flavour and by 1.00pm it was full due to it's small dining room. A plus, the two waitresses were hard working and efficient.

I was disappointed with the portions of the Bresaola e rucola especially considering its price. 4 leaves and a few pieces of meat. Wouldn't recommend getting that dish. However, the ambiance was comforting and the staff was nice. I would come back but just not for that dish :)

This was the most disappointing dining experience we had in Italy. If this was served in metal bowls it would be like eating free food for the homeless, I swear. My wife and I ordered pasta and salads, and both were disastrous. My pasta was unappetizing, with cheese sprinkled on top purely for decoration. My wife's salmon pasta resembled dry canned fish tossed over noodles. The "salads" were even worse. My tomato salad consisted of a single tasteless and plastic-like tomato, and my wife's green salad was nothing more than cheap, pre-packaged cabbage. This meal felt like a complete disregard for customers and the reputation of Italian cuisine. If the restaurant cannot deliver even basic quality, it would be better to close rather than ruin the image of Italian food. The service was fast, but again, that completely affects the taste of the food
