I’m not one to rave about food, but this was the best chicken wrap I’ve ever eaten. The flavors were amazing. My husband said their patty melt was outstanding. Definitely coming back!

Just had the Smoked salmon toast for brunch. Wow! It was good. It had smoked salmon, lemon herb yogurt, country bread with capers, arugula, tomato, red onion. Also had a cafe mocha. It was hot and delicious. Friendly staff with a casual setting.

Fantastic brunch place that is packed on weekends. Their menu offers both brunch and lunch options, and you order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. Large interior with some outdoor seats as well. The food is great and full of flavor. The staff are very friendly. They have self serve water and utensils.

Wonderful breakfast place. Busy but space indoor or outside. Cuisine is fresh tasty and pure pleasure for your mind and body. Too tight inside for your furry friend but ample space outside in front. If in the area highly suggest stopping by. Recommend. Avocado 🥑 toast.

After visiting the LA Arboretum we were looking for a good lunch spot. Emmy’s had a great google rating and was fairly close, so we decided to give it a shot. We ordered at the counter from a very helpful and friendly order taker then took our number and waited at a table. Our order arrived quickly even though it was still weekend lunch rush and few open tables remained. The noise level was quite loud, in part sure to the hard surfaces and the number of children on a Saturday, but it didn’t really distract. I had the pastrami sandwich. I’m a big aficionado of pastrami, so when it comes to one of my favorite meats, my standards are quite high. The pastrami here was no deli pastrami. The rich smoky flavor and hand sliced pieces attested to that. The rind was superb - spicy, smoky, thick and rich. If I have one criticism it is that it was just a little dry for my taste. The sandwich itself had a generous portion of the pastrami on a brioche bun with mustard and fresh pickles. I had no trouble finishing the sandwich, in part because it tasted so good, and in part because it was sized right (not too big, not too small), and in part because I opted not to include fries. Would I recommend the pastrami? You bet I would! My companion ordered the BLT with avocado. When it arrived, it looked huge, but it was because of a huge pile of lettuce on the sandwich. There was plenty of thick sliced bacon as well, so it was very satisfying. If you do order this, don’t get the side salad - it’s redundant. If you are in the area and are craving a good sandwich, do yourself a favor and stop at Emmi’s, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is a gem! Their breakfast burritos are so legendary, they should come with a cape. But, brace yourself for the coffee.. it's like they're serving up a caffeine whisper instead of a kick, which is pretty ironic for a former coffee shop. But fear not! The food saves the day.. and let me tell you about the breakfast quesadillas... they're like a cheesy, eggy symphony with green sauce on top.. bonus points for the awesome staff they are the real MVPs of this place!

Nice spot to grab lunch or brunch, and soon, they'll have a full dinner menu. The sounding area is also great to walk atoms and grab some dessert after or do a little shopping. The service was very fast and friendly. The Cutlet Sandwich is one of the best I've had and priced right. The marinara sauce inside the sandwich was very fresh and good, and the tater tots were hot and crispy, how I love them! We also had the salad with candied nuts and squash , but I can't remember the name of it. We also had a refreshing hibiscus and Arnold Palmer. We'll be back for sure!

The menu is great, and it's expanded since the place opened to have good variety. The sandwiches are excellent, and the pastries are, too. The salads and breakfast items are just as good. It seems a bit expensive for a counter-service restaurant, but I keep coming back for the great food. Unfortunately, they've canceled their dinner service. Breakfast and lunch are still great, though.

Emmi's Sierra Madre is a hometown breakfast cafe restaurant in downtown Sierra Madre, CA. They have breakfast meal, burritos, sandwiches, pastries, fresh salads, and hamburgers. Moreover, they have a full coffee bar. Indoor has modest space with plenty of seats and has abundant natural light; outdoor seats are available with a good street view. It was my first time here despite my copious visits in the area for the last hundred years. Menu items such as coffee, drinks and breakfast/lunch sandwiches were abundant. I had tap WATER, AVOCADO TOASTS and Café Au Lait for breakfast. AT was bloody good as well as their water and coffee. Staff were assiduous especially Chloe. Service was on point. Prices seem fair and highly competitive. Free Wifi. Plenty of parking in the area. Collectively, this makes a pretty good breakfast spot. Overall, we had a sublime dine-in experience and breakfast. I highly recommend this spot.

Emmy’s is a great place to visot in Sierra Madre—those burritos are absolutely glorious. Big, bold, and packed with flavor… I stopped by after a doctor’s appointment and can confirm: pure comfort food perfection.
