Took my daughter and her friends here for lunch. They were very impressed! Large portions, great service and the fact that they are all athletes who have dietary restrictions didn't bother the staff one bit. What a pleasure, oh and the menu is full of variety.
We were there three weeks ago, the place was very good, The food was very good, The best thing about this place to me was the waitress, her name is Hena. Each time she spoke with us, she had a sincere smile on her face, not a fake one, and we could tell the difference, she showed a wonderful personality. Perhaps all the California girls are beautiful.
Denver omlete was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh.
Love coming here for the Champagne Soiree and brunch foods. The view is nice outside and they seem to be keeping the patio that they added during pandemic times. This, however, was on a 105 degree day, so sitting outside was basically out of the question.
Reliable and consistently high quality food and service at reasonable prices. Great atmosphere and there is always something a little upgraded in each dish.
A special place i like to take my guests to because the food is good and the service is excellent!
Visiting family here in CA. They suggested we go to this establishment for a family dinner. Our party of six had beef stroganoff, soup, meat loaf, portabello mushroom ravioli, and a couple of burgers. Everyone was well pleased with their food. Our server Ashley was friendly and offered suggestions on various menu options. The entire Staff was quite attentive even though the place was busy. Look forward to our next visit when we return.
The only Place in Town is Wonderful. You can sit out side and look at the mountain view or sit in side in a private booth with high backs. I love the breakfast. They have really good pancakes and the bacon is delicious. Even the Hamburgers are great. Big and juicy and a good portion of meat. Try the homemade Apple Pie. It is simply the best place around. Rambo
I've been to Only Place probably close to 50 times or more. My family that is local visits there weekly. The food is delicious and the staff is sweet. If you go in a couple of times, the servers really try to get to know you which makes small talk between orders and meals delightful. I love the Maggie Wong's salad but the Meatloaf dinner is absolutely delicious! It is a large meal! Their passion tea is fresh and comes out cold. I suggest heading to Only Place in Town if you are ever in the area! Breakfast is yummy as well! The breakfast enchiladas hit the spot.
Quaint setting, no traffic, easy access into buildings view of the mountain. Food was hot and very delicious. Pricing was average. Never been to the restrooms labeled Grinder. Bit confusion on my part. Will do it again. Seating indoors on the lovely surroundings of plants and trees.
A longtime Angelino brought us here. Why? Because it's GREAT! Great food. Great service. Get an outside table. Sierra Madre is a wonderful place made more special by this restaurant experience.
Mountain view, indoor/outdoor seating, excellent kitchen, clean, attentive service, interesting menu, truly the best place. Amazing and rare southern delicious shrimp and cheese grits on the menu. 2/24 Gottatryit.
The Only Place in Town is fantastic! Friendly staff, excellent cooks, and great variety make this one of our favorite spots. The servers make you feel like you are at their home for a good meal with friends. They have terrific breakfasts with the best Greek omelet I have ever had! Visit soon!
I had the Brie Chicken Sandwich, and it was perfect. The onions were grilled but still crunchy, which is a huge deal for me. The patio has a beautiful view of the hills, and the staff was great.
We had breakfast and the portions were very ample, we had to take some home. The service was fantastic and minutes after we placed our order, the food was served. Would recommend The Only Place in Town very highly !!
The dining experience at The Only Place In Town was exceptional. Not only did they serve delicious food, but the service was also commendable. The beef corn harsh was particularly remarkable, hitting all the right notes.
Friendly staffs. Yummy food. We came for dinner. I wanted the marsala chicken and the other ladies decided to order the same thing! All three of us got the marsala chicken but I added pasta to my dish and got two different veggies as my sides. I also added a soup. My plate came out super good with pasta. The chicken was very tender, not dry at all! The veggies was done nicely not too soggy. The soup was a bit on the salty side. All and all, I like this place! Will come back.
This is a popular restaurant for the locals of Sierra Madre. We've gone there for years and the food has always been excellent and the service excellent as well, the people working there are friendly. There was alot of parking available but was nearly full, and we had to wait 10 minutes for a table.
The food is amazing! The staff are friendly. And the outdoor seating g is lovely with the view of the mountains.
Hadn't eaten here since I was a kid but I was in town and we gave it a try. Great to see that the only place in town is still up and going and has really taken a step up scale. The chicken bacon brie sandwich I had was absolutely packed full of flavor and huge. Even the marinara sauce for the mozzarella cheese sticks was way above average. Service was exemplary.
So good! Best breakfast ever! Amazing banana bread!
Nice neighborhood restaurant. Always consistent. I wish they were open for Sunday dinner
This was my third visit to tihis nice restaurant. I ordered the Mahi Mahi bowl. The fish was excellent. Taste and preparation was perfect. Had coffee black. Didn't need my usual milk and sugar for this good brew.
A classic American restaurant. It isn't literally the only place in town, but it's busy enough you can understand the hyperbole. It's nothing fancy, but definitely a solid place for standard, unpretentious meals. The place used to have a menu that rivaled Cheesecake Factory, but they decided to trim it down to just the best or most popular options in each category. They still have dinner salads, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, pasta, Mexican dishes, and full dinner plates, so there are still lots of options. Oh, and they have good breakfast options, including omelettes available all day. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outside seating straddles the sidewalk but is well protected from the street. Indoor seating is what you'd expect from an old school American restaurant: heavily padded booths, good sized tables, and some separate rooms for large parties. The service is excellent. The servers are attentive but not intrusive. They work well as a team, so you'll still get good service even if your server is temporarily busy or on break.
One of the places is best to eat as well for brunch until dinner. For the elderly people it’s very nice to hang on here with your friends, but everybody is welcome here as well so it’s guaranteed food is good.
I wish I would have taken pics of my Steak and eggs. It was excellent! Juicy sirloin cooked to perfection and great presentation. Service was Top notch. My coffee cup was never empty. Lovely restaurant with outdoor seating as well. Will definitely be going back!
I love visiting this restaurant with my grandmother. Their food is so good and their service is even better! I recently had the corned beef hash and it was phenomenal!
The eggs Florentine and pork belly bowl were delicious and the service was on point! 😋 Me and my niece went during 4th of July and it was busy but the waitstaff was still attentive. 🤙🏽
Stopped by for lunch as I happened to working in the area. Ordered 1/2 sandwich and soup. Tuna salad sandwich on reccomendation of the waitress and it did not disappoint. Also got the lentil soup (Tuesdays soup) and that yummy also. Tuna salad tasted great and the veggies in the sandwich were also fresh on a nicely toasted sliced bread. I will definitely be back!
Great breakfast spot, was taken there for the first time by regulars. It was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I had the Mediterranean Omelet with a side of Turkey Sausage,Hash Browns and Buttered Rye bread. Everything tasted excellent and the portions were very filling. Their coffee is awesome, you have to have multiple cups, it's that great. I look forward to coming back soon.
This place has a vast menu. The food doesn't disappoint. They give generous portions and make many things in house. They have a great spinach and nut veggie burger made there.
Wonderful place with great comfort food and incredible service! Our server was a friendly, relatable, real person who we felt like we could have known for years. Definitely a standout in the restaurant industry of the LA area. The Reuben is a great, classic example of the iconic sandwich; the orange grove salad is huge and deliciously balanced. The potato salad is homemade, it's a great combination of coarse mashed with some chunks that lets the seasonings marry consistently throughout and has a nice onion presence that I really like. The onion rings are classic with decent sized slices and a crispy, crunchy, not overwhelming breading. Worth a try and a repeat!
When for lunch today with family. We had the santa fe and I had the brie chicken sandwich. Our waitress was professional and friendly. Food - hats off to the chef. Side order to go the red raspberry preserve (always have)and the blueberry bread (seasonal). 7 yrs a customer and great family place. All waiters and waitresses are friendly and professional. Hats off to you!
Quite frankly it was Charming restaurant and during the covid-19 virus they are serving outdoor do everything they can to protect their customers. The service was excellent the ambiance of the old town was marvelous. Answers to the food it was founded in the menu very eclectic and also most varied I have two soups of the day which was a marvelous lyric chicken noodle redolent with vegetables and noodles in a most rich stock that simply screamed fresh chicken. For my main course I very much enjoyed the braised short ribs to serve beef steps for mouth-watering perfectly seasoned and melted it in your mouth favorite shows tender and that was served with freshly steamed broccoli and mashed red potatoes with the skin beautifully presented and quite an excellent taste combination together. It was who in portions I could barely eat half of what was on my plate so I definitely have leftovers for lunch and even though I was full I had to have dessert. They make their own ice cream on location which is creamy deeply flavored and the chocolate sundae with love chocolate milkshake made with their own chocolate ice cream was delish and huge and I love key lime pie and had to sample their key lime tartlette which was sheer perfection wit a custard that was perfectly smooth and creamy with a slightly tart lime flavor, fresh made whipped cream piped on top and literally dripping butter when you push on the shortbread crust of the tart. All in all, this was without a doubt a wonderful dining experience and one I recommend to everyone at THE ONLY PLACE IN TOWN located in the heart of San Marino
We love this restaurant located in Sierra Madre. They have outdoor shaded patio, where you can see the mountain top in a block. If you also like a small town feel that you can enjoy the breeze or sunshine. Inside the restaurant, they have tables in one side and booth seats on the other side. They also have a room for private party. Food is good from appetizers to breakfast, lunch variety burgers, pasta, sandwiches and entrée for dinner with wines. Salad is tasty, service is awesome. Highly recommended.
Long time restaurant (1945) in old town Sierra Madre. Lots of seating both inside and in covered outside area. Dog friendly outside. Food was delicious. Parking is on street and in a lot next to restaurant. Place is very busy for lunch but wait was minimal. Loved the short rib tacos and porta ella sandwich.
This place is the best place in town! Just like the name itself! I ordered the Dutch harbor Benedict, steak salad and Mediterranean pasta! They said it would be a 5 to 10 min wait but infact it was just about 5 min tops. They are very quick to sit you . it did take approximately 20 min for the food to arrive . But the wait is worth it!!The eggs Benedict were so tender !, and the potatoes were crispy and fresh. The salad wasn't what I was expecting because it had an odd ratio of vegetables and meat. The heat of palms were very good but less is more since it's got such a mild but strong taste to them. The steak was flavorful though. And the pasta was delicious. It had bitter olive flavor like balsamic vinegar but I enjoyed it. I like that taste so if you want a pasta with that taste this is it. Ir comes with sun dried tomatoes and chicken and artichoke hearts . But if anything the pancakes are the best here! Enjoy!
The service is great and food great as well. I love sitting outside when the weather nice.
First time there, it was delicious! We ate outside, although it was hot we still enjoyed it. The service was great our waitress was awesome, forgot her name but she had a ponytail that was blueish- she didn't miss a beat. Our food was perfect as well. Will be back to try more dishes. Ambiance was nice as it's been a while.
Can’t go wrong with this place. We went on a Sunday around lunch time. There was a 10-20 minute wait, but it was well worth it. Service was friendly and helpful. We ordered 4 completely different dishes from 4 different cuisines and they were all great. Specifically, we got the chilaquiles, the eggs Benedict, the stroganoff, and the chicken brie sandwich. We thoroughly enjoyed all of them. My only complaint is that the food took some time to arrive and not all dishes arrived at the same time. Update: went to this restaurant again, and the experience was identical to the first trip. The burger from the specials menu was outstanding.
A perfect ending to a stressful day. Quiet calm setting. Food was perfect ,simple and just what I needed. The service was great in fact all the staff was top notch. Will definitely be back on my next trip to the area. Updated Well the menu has change a little but the food and service is still top notch.
Corned beef & hash makes me happy 😃. Can you tell? It’s been almost three years since we moved from Pasadena to Azirona (yes, I know I misspelled it) & there are only a few places we make sure we hit when we are in town & one of them is The ONLY Place in Town. The zucchini carrot bread is delicious, so I have to make sure I order something where that is the bread w/ the order. We will be back, like we had for the 20 years we lived in Pasadena. Stay delicious!
In the quaint, clean and old town of Sierra Madre lays one of the best diners in town. Actually, it’s the only diner in town. The rest are pubs, pizza, places, Taquerias, coffee, shops, and vintage stores! The service was fantastic. Here, you feel like people know you and love you even though, you only see them when driving through town once in a blue moon. It is mostly old folks in here which is great because I will be an old person sooner rather than later myself! Also, it’s nice to be around human beings that are talking to each other, and chewing slowly, instead of taking pictures of their food, as I have done here, or even worse taking selfies And watching TikTok videos instead of paying attention of the person across the table from themselves. The price of the food is reasonable for the environment and service provided in this wonderful and magical place. My coffee cup was cracked and spilled on the table and still, I give this place five stars because they replaced the cup, and my experience continued to be top-notch Regardless. Will I be back? Most definitely. Probably when I’m 90 years old.
The Only Place in Town is the best place in town for everything! I fell in love with this cozy , friendly diner. The indoor and outdoor seating is great. you can see the mountains while eating The food is delicious: my favorite is the avocado toast with lots of extra items for the perfect mix. The salads are delicious, can’t beat the breakfasts too, When I was looking where I was going to live…..one meal at the restaurant made me fall in love with Sierra Madre. I moved there and made life-long friends I don’t live close to there but I go often and love every moment. Enjoy every moment .. and every bite
Our business networking group (PBNA) just started meeting at The Only Place In Town on Tuesdays. From the first time that we stepped into this fine restaurant, we found it to be quaint and the perfect place to hold our meetings. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast food is delicious.
Great restaurant with a solid menu and friendly staff! Their breakfast burrito was great quality. Very nice outdoor seating
Great service! Nice outside covered dining area in front. Short rib tacos were tasty and had plenty of meat. Soups are really good, too.
Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. That sandwich was a little greasy, but tasty. The fries were the saving grace for sure. Melinda was our server and she was great.
Unique and peaceful place to have a meal. This restaurant is good for breakfast with a friend or a business meeting. With the outdoor dining nowadays, the dining scene is even better. We came here for breakfast with a friend and I was surprised by how pleasant this place is. The neighborhood is quite nice. I felt like I was in a town in Sacramento near the mountains feeling the freshness of the air from the the forest. Adding to the pleasantness, the food here is also amazing. On the lighter side, the avocado toast is one of my favorites. The portion is just enough for a good breakfast. The taste of the foods is fantastic. I was surprised by how good the breakfast burrito was. The burrito is big and tasty. I can only finished half. During this time, the restaurant serves delicious pumpkin pancake. This cake is heavenly. You got to have it. The service is friendly and efficient. Got our food very quickly and the waitress refilled our coffees without asking. Parking is easy with parking spots on the side of the restaurant.
Amazing food both for breakfast but surprisingly casual dinner also. Thank you to the server who took over for the lady who seemed to be having an off day. He really changed our experience.
The food here is fresh and yummy. This morning I had the veggie omelette. It was full of spinach, mushrooms, etc. The staff is friendly. They lost 1 star because of the coffee. If you are a coffee drinker, you know how important this aspect is to a successful brunch/breakfast. The coffee is awful. I'm sorry to say this. Then to make matters worse, Stevia and/or Sugar in the Raw were not part of the offering. Delicious food, though!
I like this restaurant a lot. breakfast was great and the view of the mountain was awesome. you could ask to sit outside at the patio and enjoy quiet street and enjoy the scenery. After breakfast you can have a nice walk to mountain, park or local store.
The name is not completely true, but this is a good choice for a meal. There are other eating choices in the vicinity. The menu runs the gamet of food items providing a plethora of options. Choices cover anything from standard American fare, to Chinese, to some Latino dishes. Staff were cordial and attentive. This restaurant is certainly one to check out if passing through Sierra Madre.
Been coming here for years. Came by on a Saturday morning with our dog and was told no dogs out on patio! Patio was almost empty. This is Sierra Madre, what a biz kill. So we walked on down the road to Nano Cafe. It was packed outside and dogs are welcome. Had a great breakfast.
Very pleasant, clean and relaxing. Had a very delicious, huge conn salad and the best iced tea. Our waitress, Stephanie, was super great and funny, too. Was a bit pricey, but worth it!
This very pleasant restaurant offers plenty of spacious outdoor dining. The menu is expansive and many of the items are eclectic versions of familiar dishes. I and my fellow diners all enjoyed our meals and the portions were large, everything was tasty and the quality of the food was excellent. Service was great and this place is definitely to be recommended.
A nice place with an extensive menu and great service
This is a moderately priced place that has been in this location for many years. It is a cut above a coffee shop, but not a gourmet restaurant. We have received friendly, attentive service each time we've chosen to eat here. My companion was impressed that the burger ordered rare actually came rare, so the kitchen does seem to pay attention to diners' requests. There is no espresso machine, so you will not be able to get a latte or cappuccino, just a cup of hot, pretty good java. The brunch menu offers the usual fare that is a bit more expensive than someplace like Mimi's in nearby Monrovia, but Sierra Madre is an arty town, so things tend to be a tad more pricey, but not exorbitant. A big plus is that there is a lot of free parking in the town. There is nice outdoor seating on the sidewalk in front of this restaurant with a view of the San Gabriels. Sierra Madre is a slow-paced pleasant little town, and this is a no-friils pleasant place to eat.
Poor service but the food was pretty tasty. We had the Ruben and eggs Benedict. It took a long time and our particular waitress basically never came around. The other waitress was working hard though. I’d recommend to friends and family
We were driving through the quaint town of Sierra Madre, Ca. We stopped at a restaurant that caught my eye. A cute little place with a nice outdoor seating area. My daughter got the Bourbon burger. It was big enough to serve 4 people. They also have yummy fries. Why not stop at " The Only Place In Town?"
The food was very good, very fresh. The menu was extensive, just about every type of food is on the menu. The service was friendly and responsive. The food came out quickly and hot. Prices were reasonable. We sat by the front windows and had a great view of the mountains to boot. Good experience, highly recommend it.
I had been told I could not get good food here. That was bad advice. The food was good, the ambience was good, the service was good. It was a very enjoyable experience. I had a simple meal of French toast and sausage, it was prepared perfectly. My guest had an omelette, that looked quite tasty as well. Perhaps the only downside was the small and difficult to find restroom.
The Only Place In Town is a premier and authentic American Restaurant that has been proudly serving Sierra Madre and the San Gabriel Valley since 1945. Previously they’re known as The Headliner, it was subsequently renamed "The Only Place In Town, by the residents of Sierra Madre. I came here for breakfast and sat on their out door patio with mountain view. Once you’ve arrived, you need to check-in inside and see the hostess to be seated. I perused their breakfast menu which has good selections albeit very limited. I ordered their Strawberries a la creme French Toast with mix fruits, coffee and orange juice. Their service was impeccable and food/drinks came fast. Strawberries French Toast was thick, fluffy and flavorful. It’s strawberries and white creme were very good. Coffee was simply okay. And their cold fresh OJ was great. Servers were very attentive particularly Christina. She deserve all the tips and pay raise. They’re all wearing mask and or face shields. Tables/Chairs were far from each other per health protocol. Rear Parking lot and street parking are available. Overall, I had a phenomenal, relaxing breakfast meal and dine-in experience.
Went for a group party here. We had our own room and could turn down the music to a comfortable level. Good selection of wine and beer. The food was good and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
I like this place for the pleasant family friendly staff, variety of seating arrangements, and a relatively wide selection of offerings. If a group can't decide, the menu will have something for everybody. Quality of food not bad but not that good either. Shall we say good enough.
Pricey. I've had good food here even though the price for a 2 egg omelette is exorbitant, between $15 & $17. They have an okay chicken teriyaki bowl that's close to $18. Not really great, especially when there's lots of other teriyaki bowl places nearby, where you can get a similar plate for approximately $8. The wait staff is great, but they've had problems with chefs making undercooked food or using a correct ingredients. There's some other good dishes there, but the big problem is how extremely expensive and slow this restaurant can be.
It's OK if nothing else is open. Our service was lack luster and the food was not only bland, it was also way over priced for the quality. The avocado toast was served on a hogie roll. Really strange. The atmosphere was also blah. I didn't really hate the place it just wasn't anything special.
Very dirty. The carpet is old and very dirty. The upholstered benches are filthy. They need to upgrade this place to better floors and upholstery. The owner just spent a mint on his home upgrade, now it's time for the restaurant. The food is good and they will make it anyway you want. The breakfast menu could use an upgrade but tastes good.
I'll start by saying the food was terrific - served piping hot and tasty - all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. The service and attentiveness were spot on - refills thankfully kept coming. The wait for food for over an hour and ten minutes was totally unacceptable. The Wisteria Festival was taking place directly outside so there was no reason to be understaffed. Be sure to ask how long it will take to get your food when stopping by.
This is not the only place in town anymore. There are much better local options available. The good: staff. Outdoor seating is nice. The bad: the food is not high quality. Lots cooked from frozen and hevaily processed. It isn't the caliber of food that should be expensive, but almost every menu item has gone up to $20+. This is well beyond what the recent inflation would cause, and that seems opportunistic to me. The dated interior of the restaurant is desperately in need of a remodel.
This was my second time here... the first time was over 12 years ago, I had hoped that it would be a better outcome. Sadly it was not. That Avocado Toast (deep sigh) wasn't it for me, I had 3 bites of the Avocado (that I scraped from the bread) and left the rest. They use the heal of the bread for the toast and it's not toasted enough, the fig balsamic is thick and I just couldn't make myself eat it. The corned beef hash has a nice flavor but I can't eat bell peppers so I ended up not eating that dish as well. My decaf coffee was delicious and the Zucchini Carrot bread was good too. My daughter and son-in-law enjoyed their breakfast burritos. I believe my grandchildren liked their dishes too. Our server was a wee bit of a flat attitude... couldn't put my finger on it but there was something THERE. I can assure you I will not be giving this place a 3rd try.
Nice atmosphere and good food, but severely lacking in kitchen staff. I eat here often and there is always lots of available empty tables and always a 10 to 20 minute wait. Not much of a fan.
I’ve been eating here since 2000. I moved away and tonight just felt like dropping by for my usual steak dinner. $50.00 later, I should have just eaten what I had in the fridge. Disappointing. It’s not the first time I’ve been disappointed here, but I thought I’d give it another try. They’ve just changed over the past two years and it doesn't look like it’s heading back in the better direction. Too bad. Not too many places in Sierra Madre. This was a usual. Not anymore.
Extremely slow and casual service on a Friday evening. Our waters were brought out and not a word was said to us, even though we were clearly done looking at our menus. Five minutes later we placed our order… while the waitress checked on us once to see how our food was, no extra water was offered, and there was over ten minutes between her checking on us and then bringing the check, at which time she asked if we wanted dessert, though we were beyond ready to leave. It was clearly disorganized as we heard other waitresses apologize to other tables who were waiting. Beware that you have to have time to relax and chill if you want to eat here, because they are chill on the staff side… chill like it’s a diner on a slow day.
I hate to say it but mine and my wife's experience was not super great at this establishment. The server although having a good attitude took pretty long to come get our drinks after we were seated. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they were barely hot on the surface, the cheese inside was barely melted. My wife ordered a steak and baked potato meal and her potato was not baked it was boiled and her butter failed to melt when she applied it to her "baked" potato. I myself ordered the cowboy burger and have no complaints as it would be hard to get a burger wrong but if they did I would communicate it here. In summary it wasn't the worst place around but for the price unfortunately it wasn't worth it .
My husband loves this place, and we've been here countless times, and it's always been a nice experience, however, this last time the atmosphere was a little different. Our server, this usually nice lady was a bit different, she had to go on break during our time there, but she kept walking around checking on everyone, so my husband got confused whether she was on break or not, and he asked her for more coffee, she said she was still on break, after 20 minutes she was still on "break", but she still brought our check, after another 10 minutes she was back, so my husband asked her for more coffee to which she offered a to go cup. It was a very weird, and very bad experience for me. I don't think I'm going back for a while. This is NOT the only place in town!
Didn’t even get to eat here because they stopped allowing dogs on their patio. For as dog friendly as Sierra Madre is and with how large this restaurant’s patio is, it seems a little ridiculous.
Had the ribs for dinner Saturday evening, and they were terrible. They were dried out and barely warm. I anticipated tender meat falling off the bone, but I could hardly cut the ribs apart to find the meat which was like strands of stiff bacon. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Decided to take the drive because of the high ratings and the great food reviews, and the deciding factor was this place was dog friendly. When got there they told us dogs weren't allowed even in the outside patio although they claim they are dog friendly online. Probably will never return here given the numerous breakfast spots its surrounded by.
We tried to go somewhere new. We'll after 15min nobody acknowledged us we walked out. You have one chance to make people feel welcome. Will never come back no matter how good the food is. No wonder you were not busy
First time there for dinner (1st week in August). We ate outside, nice atmosphere. I ordered Short Ribs but was given Pot Roast! Not here to complain about the food but the service was awful! Waitress was very rude and NOT attentive to our needs. We were still waiting for our extra plate 10 minutes after our dinners were served. I signaled my waitress to come over when I saw her taking orders next table from us. She came over in a few minutes, I indicated the extra plate that we asked for never came. She threw a fit at me! Complaining about how busy she was and had inside and outside customers to take care of. “I don’t care”! I just wanted an extra plate, my food was getting cold! No ways to be rude to your customers!! Be aware next time you planned to eat there!
This restaurant needs a clearer policy on dogs in the outdoor patio section. I have passed by here several times in the past year and have seen dogs there so I decided to stop by to eat here with my dog today. I saw a customer there eating with their dog, so I asked for a table but the server said they didn’t allow dogs. I pointed out that there was already a dog out there but the server said, “I don’t know about that, must be a service dog.” But I did not see a vest or any indication of that dog being a service dog. I have no problem with a no-dog policy but not if it’s inconsistent like this.
So disappointing We got there!!! Plenty of empty tables … waited half an hour … to be told they would not serve breakfast
