Our server, Jeff was wonderful. I finally got back here and can't wait to visit again. Food was lovely although I will ask for less salad dressing next time. The lamb rib special was delicious and so was the cream of asparagus soup. Grazie!!

Awesome food. Amazing service. Great ambiance. Good wine selection. This is one of my favorite West coast places to eat! Everything that I've had from their menu is good and when I've asked, they can make anything I've thrown at them.

Arrived at the restaurant. Greeted and sat right away. Our server was Jennifer. She was great. The Seabass w risotto was excellent as was the creme Brulee. Excellent experience.

What can I say about Betos? The food is fresh and delicious! When we were able to go to Betos the service was exceptional! Juan and the staff make you feel at home. Now We order Betos as take out and the quality is still wonderful as if you were eating in the restaurant. Best place in Simi to enjoy great food and service . Don’t forget you can always call and pick it up to eat at home!

Beto's is located in a small strip mall. From the exterior it doesn't look like much. But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my dining experience. My minestrone soup and salmon were scrumptious. The service was friendly and professional. The prices were very reasonable for the overall quality. The only small negatives for me was that the tables are close together and the lighting was too dark.

A hidden gem in Simi Valley. A great variety of Italian dishes and their salmon is excellent! A higher-end restaurant (linen tablecloths) in a tiny strip mall.

Highly recommend that you come experience the warm personal touch provided by Giovanni, the friendly ambiance shared by other patrons and the deliciously prepared food. For those of you questioning whether you should make the trip '"all the way to the other side of Simi" ...DO IT! You won't be disappointed. My husband had a large, juicy, mouth-watering pork chop and I tried the pumpkin with brown butter sage sauce. Both were hard to forget. We will be back soon.

Ordered take out: Chicken Alfredo, Shrimp & Scallop Linguine and the beaded mozzarella. Everything was delicious, fair-priced and the host delivered it out to the car! Will definitely be ordering again and planning to do sit down dining soon.

Swordfish was tender and flavorful. Porkchop was done just right and had an amazing balsamic sauce on top. The table bread was different and delightful, not your run of the mill sourdough or french roll. Lentil soup was nice, heirloom tomato salad should have had more tomatoes and less leaves. Creme brulee was awesome. We brought our own wine, they waived the $10 corkage fee since we passed on the house wine that came with our dinner special. Overall, an excellent dinner and an excellent staff.

Excellent food, drinks, and excellent service. The food alone is some of the best Italian in SoCal! We had a party of 5 on mother’s day and everyone loved their dishes.

We eat in the restaurant once in a while and it's good but we love the pizza and have it often. The crust is medium thick with a wonderful texture. The sauce seems homemade and has a rich taste.

Food was great, server was excellent and restaurant was cozy and welcoming. Will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

I must say it was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of seafood in it. I also requested to have them make the broth a bit spicy and they accommodated me with no problem. Celebrated my moms and my sister's birthday together here at the same time and it was a lot of fun we felt bad because we took forever to order but the waitress was wonderful about it we hadn't seen each other in almost two years so we were sitting there talking talking and the waitress was extremely patient and nice with us. The food was great we had ordered three entrees and a chopped salad and a bottle of prosecco and we basically ate it all family style. Honestly between the three of us we could have done just fine with the two entrees instead of three we were totally stuffed and had a lot to take home by the end of the meal. Food quality and presentation was great would definitely go here again. I was a little bit on the pricey side but you pay for what you get which is great. Definitely happy that we ended up going here none of us had heard about it before it's kind of a little hole in the wall and I'm sure definitely a bit underrated I would definitely recommend this to anybody who can afford it!

The restaurant is cozy and well appointed. The service was exceptional. The menu is good, but some of the dishes were either too sweet or overly heavy. I ordered the shrimp scampi and was surprised to see served with a creamy white sauce. It was ok but I would have preferred a traditional recipe that wasn't so heavy. I wouldn't order it there again. My friends ordered the lasagne and other meat pasta dishes and were very pleased.

Betos is not your typical Italian-American dining establishment. This place is a little more upscale with smaller portions and a more tailored experience. The food is great and the prices aren't bad. There is a large selection of wines and they have a gluten free pasta available for those that need it. When we went, we were not greeted by a host so we ended up standing in the doorway for a few minutes until someone noticed us. The bartender then spotted us and told us to sit anywhere. Not a huge problem but it is a little confusing if you just walk up without a reservation. There is a large free parking lot and easy access in and out of the area. The dining room is slightly cramped but overall this is a nice place to eat out. I would definitely go back.

A beautiful distinguish place with exelent and tasty food. The house cavernet glass of wine was delicious. On the other hand, the customer services were much less than what i was expecting for the type of place we were in. At some point, i will say it was kind of rud from almost everyone how approach us. Im sure I'll give them another chance to change it to a five-star.

05-30-23 4 in our party. First visit here for two of us. I don't recall what we all had. (I shoulda took pics). Whenever I try a new restaurant I like to have the same meal I've had at other restaurants. Tonight I had Chicken Parmesan. I've had worse, can't recall a better one, so this might be as good as I've had. Just one minor issue: the sauce that accompanies the pasta looks and tastes suspiciously like "Chef Boyardee" spaghetti sauce. Otherwise it was quite enjoyable. I finished it all.

It was good& more than passable. A bit high priced for Simi Valley they are not in Encino. As a new York Italian food critic, it's on the north side of 50% when it comes to Itty dishes. The sauce was not labored over but good. The pork chip was a bit dry and they wouldn't cook it my way. They evidently par cook or sous vide and the chef didn't want to bother or inexperienced. Not sure. Ask in all good enough to go back and try something different, maybe more traditional. My wife hat the chicken parm. Also as little over mediocre but more in the veal price range than for chicken.

We got veal ravioli as an appetizer, which had a very rich flavor to it. My wife got the mushroom risotto, tasted heavenly. I got the chicken parm, which tasted good, but the chicken parm could've used another minute to get the nice golden look and crunch to it. Only complaint we had was that the oil at the table tasted very odd, almost like canola or vegetable oil rather than olive oil. The oil was very off putting especially since the bread tasted so good. Overall, great place to have a nice meal and enjoy some live music when it's there, just avoid the oil!

I had the grilled salmon for dinner. It was excellent and delicious. On a Sunday evening the restaurant was filled so the service was a bit slow. The table/ booth we sat in was not level and someone had to come and “fix” it. My guests enjoyed the lasagna and chicken Parmesan.

It saddens me to post this! Wife and I partook in the Monday night special last night (11/19) and were less than impressed. The first thing that struck me was the lack of life in the restaurant when we first entered. We've always enjoyed the uplifting feeling we've experienced there many times. The second thing was the salad. The lettuce didn't seem fresh, like the salad had been made many hours before. The food was good but not spectacular as we've remembered the restaurant in the past. So overall, I can't give it more than a three this time. We'll be back and with great hope things change for the better. We left thinking maybe the staff weren't having a good day and that feeling overflowed to the ambiance of the establishment.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Host was clearly annoyed that we even showed up for our reservation at 6:30 and then proceeded to have a nasty attitude each time he passed our table. Our server was nice and accommodating but wasn’t too present throughout the meal. A different person dropped our drinks and food. We ordered the special by name and then when it was dropped to our table, it was called a different name so when we asked what it was, the same nasty host snapped at us saying it’s the “same as the special but just a different name”. Food was cold by the time we got it and it came out at all different times. Overall pretty disappointing as I know the family who owns this restaurant along with Maria’s and Olivios but Betos needs some work and new staff.

Overall food has always been pretty good. However, during my last visit we got completely ignored. We got to the restaurant about an hour before closing and the entire staff pretended we weren't standing there waiting. I understand it was a bit late and would have been completely fine with them saying "sorry the kitchen is closing soon we arent seating anyone"... but instead they looked at us multiple times and ignored that we were standing there. We waited about 5 minutes before we left.

This is the second time in 10 years going here and I now get why it's been that long. Went out for a romantic date night during the week and found the place with only one family in the place and we're greeted by the waitress.She let us know that they were about to close down due to a lack of business but assured us they could accommodate us. We both ordered seafood and the food arrived fairly quickly and my wife and I proceed to eat and after a few bites we realized that the plates were wrong. The server never asked which one goes where and by the time the waitress came over ( that other family was her own and that's where her attention was) we explained to her that something was wrong and she than realized that the plates were switched and offered to replace my wifes dish which due to the time meant only a partial replacement. No charge which due to no fault of ours would be expected. But the glass refilling and the other checks were never made and the service unfortunately was not what I would expect. She felt bad enough about the experience that she comped the salad which was appreciated but we would never go back none the less. Food quality was ok, but the handling and attention to detail were obviously not a priority even after the mistake of dishes. Having to ask for water refills is not expected.
