This was a cool funky place. Huge menu. Cool with food allergies and keto menu. Great food. Friendly knowledgeable server. Would come again. Oh we sat in the bar which had crazy fun decor. They also had art auctions up in addition to regular sports which was interesting.

The staff was super friendly from the minute we walked in. Our waitress Trinity was so knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing and so reasonably priced. There was live music playing in the bar and the decor is over the top fun. There’s something to look at in every corner. I would definitely go back to this place because the menu is huge and can’t get much better service than this restaurant.

We frequent Junkyard Cafe for its wonderful, eclectic menu and delightful spirits. Their motto —and mantra, essentially— is written right on the sign out front: “Lighten Up, Life is Short” Of course the food is fabulous, but one cannot discuss this iconic place without first discussing the decor. You’ve heard teachers and parents say ‘you just have to throw everything at the wall with these kids and see what sticks’ Well, at this restaurant, that’s just what they did. The walls, ceiling, courtyard, and interior is a wonderful study in zany, fun, decor. You are greeted by all kinds of stuff. Even the Oxford English dictionary isn’t long enough to describe everything. If you’re here for breakfast, congratulations, you have lots of choices, but they should all begin with a Bloody Mary, and this place has the best. Next, enjoy cinnamon French toast, my favorite, with eggs and bacon and get ready to take some home because it’s an enormous portion. They of course have many other breakfast choices as well. For lunch, you cannot go wrong with their wonderful big buxom burgers, and don’t forget this is not just the only place in town but perhaps the only place in the world where you can get a peanut butter coleslaw burger! Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it! The menu is so extensive and we have tried so many items. If you cannot decide what to order, just get the sampler plate. This review will end up being the size War and Peace by the time I’m done, so let me cut to the chase: this is the most fun restaurant you could possibly go to, it’s great for the kids, and it is fully wheelchair accessible. Enjoy Simi Valley to the fullest by going to the Junkyard Café

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Owners Tony and Evelyn are so nice and inviting. Tony is the head chef, and his food is amazing. Bar tender Heather is so nice. They have special days there, for instance, every 17th of every month, they celebrate St. Patrick's day. He brines his own corned beef. The last Thursday of every month is "Thanksgiving" with Turkey, green bean casserole, and more. The food is all made to order. Full Bar and sports TV in the bar. The decor and menu are designed by Evelyn. It's just an amazing and fun place to have great food and service.

Chris took great care at The Junkyard. He was attentive and polite, He took our order quickly and got them to the kitchen right away. The toast, hash browns, eggs, and pork chop were prepared exactly as I had requested when they arrived. Good size poached eggs that had a good flavor. My wife was equally happy with her meal, the staff, and the service. I can't end without saying that the whole place is fun. I'll be back.

This is a very fun and unique place to eat. It lives up to it's name. They have so much to see that I'm going to have to go back and take another look around. The ceviche is very fish forward, with great citrus flavor that is light. The rueben has huge chunks of corned beef, making it difficult to eat, but the flavors were delicious. The highlight was the guacamole with housemade chips.

Really enjoyed my time at Junkyard Café! The atmosphere is super creative and full of character—industrial decor with a cool, laid-back vibe. I had the fish and chips, and it was excellent—crispy, flavorful, and a solid portion size. I didn’t get a drink, but my brother ordered a huge beer that definitely made a statement. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, even though it was busy. Great spot to hang out, grab some good food, and enjoy the unique setting. I’ll be back for sure.

One of the coolest details is the hand-drawn menu, which is a fun experience just to look at. There's many options to choose from burgers to sandwiches to salads. Cool place to come and visit.

They sat me and my daughter in the bar area. Took forever to get our drinks and order taken. I asked the waitress a question about an item and she told me she would ask and get back to me on it. Next thing I know when they’re bringing our food out, that item is there and she charged me for it. They messed up my daughter’s order. She asked for no onions. Thank god she wasn’t allergic to onions because they gave it to her on her omelette. We had to ask the bus boy for a box on an item that was supposed to be a to go order. And we also had to stop the waitress and ask her for our check as she only came to our table to take our order and when we went up to pay the girl rolled her eyes at us and walked away. Our waitress then came back slamming stuff around. Very unprofessional. It was the worst service ever and we will not be going back.
