I can't say enough about Rosalie's Cucina! Not our first time there. Food was outstanding came out hot. Servers was very good. If you want to go out for a anniversary dinner like we did or just like good food this is the place. Casual attire is fine. Its a must go!

Chef Marc and his team catered our wedding last weekend at the Sinclair! We can’t say enough about how much we love Rosalies! The food was absolutely amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Additionally, Marc is extremely organized and professional. He did such a wonderful job! Can’t wait to visit the restaurant soon!

Dinner was amazing. Leslie was amazing as our server. The Beef Carpaccio was one of the best appetizers I have had anywhere and it was dirt cheap as a salad substitute. Beautiful atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

I was here over memorial day weekend they were booked solid I was lucky enough to sit at the bar atleast. Patrick and Kayla were great. They explained everything from specials and I always ask what there favorite is in great detail making everything sound delicious. The kitchen is wide open so you can watch what's being made if you want. Food was mouthwatering they had two older gentleman playing what sounded like older Italian music which set the mood outside. This place is both romantic and fun.

On a Friday night we had a reservation for 8 at 7:00. We were seated in a timely manner and drink orders were immediately taken. When it was time to order, our waiter easily answered all questions posed to him and was willing to skip over and come back to those who hadn't quite made up their minds, without making anyone feel rushed. The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. The food was excellent, served at a good pace, and enjoyed by all. It had been a few years since any of us had frequented Rosalie's. As the evening came to an end, we all remarked on what a great experience it had been. Looking forward to returning.

Food is delicious and authentic. The bread is to die for and they gave us a roll to go with our left overs. Our server was super nice, the restaurant is beautiful and super cozy and smells like bread heaven in there. I’ve visited only once but tried everyone’s dishes. We all order meats that were locally sourced and everything was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. I’m going back to try the pizza, it looked and smelled amazing- just like pizza in Italy.

Been a few times now and food is always fantastic, can't say that we've ever had anything to complain about. Service is always quick and attentive. Atmosphere is a bit dark for my taste and is usually a bit on the louder side, just personal taste though on that part

It’s a bird, it’s a plane. No. It’s Super-chef, Marc Albino. Marc and his Rosalie’s banquet team catered our wedding at The Sinclair of Skaneateles this past weekend and we’re still not really sure of the words we can use to paint a picture of how incredible their food, service, and passion for providing a perfect wedding night truly is. We scheduled our tasting in August and knew from the moment we walked in the door that the amazing atmosphere of the restaurant would be matched by the food. We started with bread and oil, as well as the two salads we ultimately ended up choosing for our big day. You would think a Caesar salad is super easy, and can’t be improved upon, but Marc does something different with it that just blows your mind. If something as simple as a salad could have me that excited for the rest of our meal, I knew I was in for a treat. Our next course was pasta, where we tried the pesto penne as well as the chicken riggies. Surprise, surprise. They also both made the cut for the day of the wedding. Perfectly al dente pasta and incredibly flavorful sauces. We went into our tasting expecting to choose the Chicken Cacciatore, but we decided to try the Mailale Arrosto, just in case. We're so happy we did. It was mind blowing. That, paired with the Braciole, made our proteins for the night so well rounded and delicious. Of course, it would be silly to not mention the banana pudding that was part of our dessert table. It truly is something you have to try for yourself. There is nothing on Earth like it. Rosalie’s designated bartender for our wedding night was phenomenal, bringing our signature drinks to life with a smile and a joke for every guest of the night. He was efficient, accurate, and never had a line leading to the bar. On top of everything, he kept our guests safe and happy. Julie is Rosalie’s “banquet captain” and deserves never-ending praise for our night. Rosalie’s has a “meet me” post on their Facebook page for Julie where they say that she “makes sure all the events are on time, running smoothly and all the details are being attended to…” and it is the absolute whole truth. She went above and beyond her role as banquet captain, and helped maintain the perfect atmosphere for our entire evening. My wife and I, as well as all of our guests of the evening, are forever indebted to Marc, Julie, and the entirety of the Rosalie’s crew that made our night one that we will never forget, no matter how deep the food coma is from the wonderful food.

It’s so wonderful to be greeted at the door! If we don’t have a reservation we enjoy eating at the bar. The bartenders are fantastic and will always make sure your drink is perfect. The food is superb and always consistent. Highly recommend Rosalie’s!

Outstanding experience. We had reservations for four in the 6:00 hour. We arrived early and had drinks at their welcoming bar. Our server, Leslie was outstanding. She was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu to help with our selections. I had the Tagliatelle Primavera. It was more "hearty" than I expected, but it was very flavorful. I had to take some of it home, which is not an issue! It was great the next day. My wife had the Striped Bass special which was outstanding. Overall, food and service was top notch! Very pleasurable experience! Special shout out to Leslie, thank you!

I cannot express enough how lovely of an evening my husband and family (toddler and infant) had here. We booked a reservation early in evening to avoid annoying others with our children- wow we had the most amazing experience. Payton was our waiter and went out of his way to ensure our toddler was happy (brought her crayons and special treats). Our food was brought promptly and was the incredibly delicious. Cocktails were incredible. THE BREAD! Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in the last year. THANK YOU PAYTON AND ROSALIE’S!!!

Decided to stop in for My wife's birthday getaway. Was greeted by a friendly bar staff, great food, and cool atmosphere. We decided to hang at the bar, and just had an awesome time chatting it up with the folks working behind the bar. Highly recommended!!

We got married here in Rosalie's Romano Room. Our microwedding had 18 people, but the room has capacity for about 48. We were able to have a prefixed menu arranged ahead of time, and the wedding went without a hitch! Lisa, the house manager, was incredible in orchestrating the event ahead of time, and Matt was our fantastic and extremely attentive server and bartender the entire night. Both Matt and Lisa did an excellent job in making everything perfect for our special day. Our food was absolutely supurb and was served family style. Each course was enjoyed thoroughly, and we will have leftovers for days and days to come! Highly recommend this amazing place for small events, or to simply enjoy for dinner! We will be sure to spend each anniversary dinner here and we will be bringing back our families for more! Thank you Matt, Lisa, and the Rosalie's family for an incredible day to remember! We had a most exceptional dining experience here. At Mirbeau next for the weekend and friends recommended we check out Rosie’s. Food was excellent, nice portions, you can definitely share a dessert with 4 people. Fun craft cocktails. Bread was excellent and they give you a fresh loaf to take home our server Theresa did a very nice job. Bring a marker to write on the wall. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was very good and portions were very large. The kitchen and bar are open to the dining area making the room a little more noisy. There is a very nice outdoor dining area with a large fireplace however it was raining the night I went. The dining room was a little dark making it more cozy but more difficult for my 65+ eyes to read the menu, however we had a great dinner, a good time and will go back soon.

My in-laws had their 50th wedding anniversary dinner at Rosalie's with the family. We had a handful of kids in our group, too. We came a bit early for our reservation but the hosts were kind and helpful seating us promptly. Our server, Ryan was non-stop professional and accommodating for numerous requests. It can be difficult bringing a big group with children to something like this. My husband and I had lamb and scallops, which were cooked perfectly. The meal was delicious and my in-laws had a wonderful time for this very special occasion. On the way out, the musicians invited the kids to play tambourine etc. which was incredibly thoughtful. All-around great time, thank you!

I really like the history of this restaurant and how it was owned by somebody and all of the original we would eat there signed their names on the walls which gives it an incredible atmosphere. the food was exquisite some of the best I've had for Italian restaurants. I would eat here for the rest of my life if I could afford it

We had the pleasure of Marc’s catering at our wedding- not only was the food spectacular, Marc was professional and so organized at our final meeting. He’s exactly what every couple and their family need during the wedding planning process. Our friends and family cannot stop raving about the food (prime rib, raw bar, antipasti) and what exceptional service they received. Not even my uncles (who are all just shy of competitive eaters) left feeling hungry! Marc and the Rosalie’s team are a well oiled machine with the Sinclair. A packed restaurant for NYE and everything was great! Delicious food, expert service, yummy specially drinks. We had a 20 minute wait for our reservation and service was a bit slow, but we understood that it was a full house all evening and the servers were hopping! The banana dessert? O.M.G.....

We had Rosalie’s Cucina cater our wedding at The Sinclair. Marc and his staff were very nice, helpful, and attentive. The food was phenomenal, when it came to making a choice of what should be on our wedding menu it was difficult choice just because everything tasted so good. Our first “fight” being married was over who got to eat the leftovers the very next day. Highly recommend for a wedding but also for a lovely date.

INSALATA DI SPINACI - still delicious but better when the spinach was cooked SCALOPPINE DI POLLO - the go to chicken dish here *CAPPA SANTA AL PROSCIUTTO E BASILICO - best dish on the menu BANANA BUDINO House-made cinnamon-sugar phyllo shell filled with layers of fresh bananas, banana cream pudding and almond cookies, finished with caramel sauce and almond cookie garnish. ***THE BEST*** At the very least the banana pudding is a must. By far the BEST dessert I’ve ever had. Note: Even if you’re too full and about to pass out make sure you order this dessert for the table(not to go). A to go order is significantly less and just leaves you wanting more

Very fine dining with such a comfortable atmosphere. While on vacation, my family and I reserved a table on the patio on a night that they had wonderful live music. My toddler was dancing and running around the grape vines in the back while we waited for our food. The service was great, the manager, Lisa, was beyond kind and accommodating, and the food was even better than I could have expected. My tagliatelle primavera was delicious house made pasta and my husband's ribeye was huge and well-loved. We also ordered several appetizers for the table and all were very delicious. I'm not a big desert person, but we got the banana pudding for the table, and I could not stop eating it! All in all, my family had such a great experience at Rosalie's. Memories were made and bellies were full. We will definitely be back. I just recommend making a reservation 2+ weeks in advance, because it is very much loved in this town. 🙂

First time here. Food was fantastic! Our server was a bit weird - he just swooped in and took our bread without asking if we were done. Same with our appetizers. He didn’t seem thrilled to be serving so maybe it was just a bad night for him. Overall was a good meal with good company.

I had the ribeye, medium rare, which was fantastic. Whatever they do with the mashed (whipped?) potatoes that come with it was game-changing. For dessert we had the bruciata which is like Italian creme brulee - my favorite dessert, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is just nice as well. Even for Skaneateles, it seems a step above in class and quality.

I highly reccomend Rosalies Cucina for a special dining experience. All categories food service atmosphere highly deserve a 5 star rating. I'd like to thank our server Payton Sweet for the best service ever. I loved how he took the time to enlighten us about the history of the resturant along with the meaning of the signature walls. Such a special place indeed. Also I'd like to thank Payton for his professionalism regarding in the manner in which he took good care if us. When Payton served us the delicious home made Italian bread( bakery included in the back of the resturant) he served the cocktails with the bread. Asking us to please taste the cocktail before explains to us about the dipping sauce spices and cheese. Payton also was able to converse with us for awhile after paying for the bill. We asked to take home a dessert and he came out with a tray to display of desserts explaining all to us. We opted for the banana pudding. Right choice Payton it melted in my mouth with all the banana and creamy deliciousness. Payton is the type of person I'd love to have him sit at our table over conversation. Thank you Payton for making our dinner even more the special. I almost forgot thank you for the extra bread to carry with us. Entree I recommend is the brocole. A delicious steak marinated in a delightful sauce making the beef extra tender. Brocole is wrapped and filled while stewing. In this case it was wrapped with broccolini. Cooked the right way. Tender but yet a little crisp. Also the lemon martini had the right amount of sugar on the rim of the glass. Ice cold and delicious. The polenta is the appetizer of choice and I highly reccomend. Warm polenta roasted cherry tomatoes with fresh mozzarella is nothing but a flavor burst. And the way they wrap up the leftovers is surley the best I haver ever seen.Thank you Rosalies Cucina we hope to return in the near future to celebrate any special occasion or when we get a craving. Maybe tomorrow? Reservations are taken on line on site

First time at Rosalie's and it will not be the last. To start I ordered a limoncello martini, it was really yummy. My girlfriend and i shared an appetizer of shrimp rolled in prosciutto, the combo was perfect! Their special was sea bass over fingerlings and heritage carrots. It was a lot of food but I ate it all, lol. Their wine choices are okay. The 1 pinot grigio they had on their wine list was adequate. In the warmer evenings you can dine outside in the courtyard where there is a lovely fireplace.

We've been visiting Skaneateles for quite a few years and never new about this gem of a restaurant before, which features northern Italian cuisine. The food is excellent as is the service. My veal picatta was excellent as were my husband's seared scallops. Their homemade bread comes in a little round loaf that you break off pieces with your hands and is served with fresh garlic, parmesan, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and spices for dipping. Our dessert was a wonderfully decadent chocolate creation! Fabulous wine selection, too, and creative cocktail list! Many celebrities have dined here, including presidents and vice presidents. Names are signed on the walls in certain spots, creating a neat addition to an upscale restaurant. They have a small bakery in the back where you can buy their fabulous bread, other homemade pastries and sip coffee in their tiny vineyard. Be sure to stop there during the day! This is, by far, the best restaurant in Skaneateles!

A restaurant with consistently good food and service. Not a big fan of Italian but I love the meals there. I had Tagliatelle Polpette, which was incredible and the rest of the group had Arrosto Di Maiale, and the swordfish. For dessert we enjoy Banana Bundino and Cannoli Siciliano (the Tiramisu was sold out). Everyone enjoyed their meal and we can't wait to go back.

My wife and I drove from Canandaigua to Skaneateles for a change of pace and to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After a day in town and a boat tour, we were more than ready for dinner. We arrived early for our reservation at Rosalie’s Cucina and enjoyed a drink at the bar before being seated. The warm, family-style atmosphere immediately set the tone, and it was clear our neighbors were enjoying their meals as much as we soon would. We ordered a bottle of Nebbiolo from the extensive wine list and started with the carpaccio—a rare treat for me, and it did not disappoint. For entrées, I had the filet with rustic vegetables while my wife chose the scallops with risotto. Both dishes were outstanding, and we found ourselves smiling all the way through. We finished with espresso and dessert, leaving the restaurant with that warm, content feeling you hope for on a special night out. Rosalie’s delivered a truly memorable anniversary dinner.

Perfect places for an anniversary or special occasion. Also, great just for a date night. I love the filet! It is my go to main course. Their bread is so delicious too. You can get it fresh daily from their cafe located in the back of the restaurant. You must try the cafe’s cookies as well. They are addicting!

We recently got married in Skaneateles at the Sinclair, who has Rosalie’s as their exclusive catering partner. The food was excellent! Before booking the venue, we had dinner at Rosalie’s and loved it in person, so having them as the caterer was an easy call. They had us in six months before the wedding to do a tasting dinner to confirm our menu. The tasting was so much fun! Marc and his team were all about making sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted, while being super transparent at the same time. They were even able to work with us for some difficult requests for our specialty cocktails. Such a great experience working with them and even better food!

Always a solid choice. It was always a little loud but wow was very loud. Food and staff still rick, enough so I'd syltill give it 5 🌟 . Banana dessert was good but I'd stuck with the creme Brulee as my standard.

I have been coming here for 30 years and the food, service and ambiance have always been excellent. Last night I had a swordfish special which was outstanding. The cut was thick, cooked perfectly and plated with delicious pasta and broccolini. The carpaccio was delicious and presented beautifully. Eric our server was great.

Fantastic Italian eatery! Everything about Rosalie's Cucina is exceptional. The service is attentive but not intrusive. The food is delicious and the culinary and beverage options are plentiful. Tasteful plating, a unique Tuscan-inspired decor, and ample parking round out this memorable experience. A bit noisier than preferred, but not a problem. Reasonable prices and a nice location a half-mile west of Skaneateles.

One of the premier restaurants in the Syracuse area. We had our wedding reception here 9 years ago and they kindly let us bring our own wedding cake. We also got to sign the wall. Over the years, I've tried many items on their menu and found them all to be excellent. The wine list is outstanding, and the service is very professional. Be careful not to spoil your appetite by eating too much of their delicious bread (made on site) before your food arrives. For something a little different try the manicotti as an appetizer, slow-roasted pork as an entree, and the banana budino for dessert. UPDATE-1: Scampi alla Rosalie is one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant. With each bite of shrimp, oven-cured tomato, artichoke, spinach, or angel hair pasta in garlic butter, my taste buds rejoiced. It was truly a memorable meal. If you like garlic, ask for extra garlic on the dish. My wife had the scallops and liked them very much. She offered me a taste and I thought they were a little undercooked, so if you like your scallops cooked through, you should request that when ordering. UPDATE-2: Returning three months after our outstanding experience at this restaurant, we discovered that their kitchen can be inconsistent. I suspect a different chef was on duty on 10/18/24 than the one who prepared our outstanding dishes on 7/16/24. My wife's $50 scallop dish had three scallops in contrast to five on her earlier visit (see photos below of the two dishes). And my shrimp scampi dish had overcooked rubbery shrimp, artichokes with hard leaves, little sauce, and little garlic even though I requested extra garlic. It was disappointing, especially as we brought others with us to the restaurant this time. UPDATE-3: Had two excellent meals. I had the chicken scallopini and my wife had the scallops. UPDATE-4: The mushroom soup was not what I had hoped for, but the filet was tender and absolutely delicious, and nicely complimented by the vegetables. My wife loved her meatballs and pasta dish.

Our school scheduled Rosalie’s Food Truck to come provide us lunch. It was fantastic! I had the Fried Chicken pickle and slaw sandwich..killer!!! We live in Newfield NY but travel to Rosalie’s at least 4 times a year. We have never been disappointed. The food and deserts are excellent. The bread, of course, is such a treat when we sit down. Their steaks are always cooked perfectly. Last night I had the butternut squash soup. Perfection. So was the Harvest Mule cocktail.

If I could give 6 stars for the service, I would. The best service I have ever experienced. The food was fantastic, and we were served quickly, but we were not rushed at all. The bread was fabulous, and you can buy a loaf at the bakery before 8 p.m. The best chocolate cake I have ever ordered. I highly recommend and we look forward to visiting again. First, Rosalies has always been a place my friends and I love to stop to get a drink, share some apps, and always get a dessert. So I knew we had to bring all our closest friends and family here from out of town for our Rehearsal Dinner. BEST DECISION EVER. Service was outstanding, the process was simple, and the food never stopped (family style service). Everything was beyond delicious and we even had a couple compliments made that it was the best Rehearsal Dinner meal they had ever had. Cherry on top was getting to be in a gorgeous private room with all our family and friends who then all got sent home with the leftovers to enjoy all weekend! Thank you to all the Rosalies staff for such a greta experience!

We have dined at Rosalie’s for dinner a handful of times, and it is always worth the 1+ hour drive from Rochester. Each dish we’ve tried has been delicious and high quality, on our most recent visit we had the Filet entree and the Farfalle con Pollo pasta dish, I would highly recommend both!

Wonderful place to have dinner - with friends, business partners, family, even alone. Food is fabulous - I had a chicken dish and my friend had a beef dish. Our doggie bags were swans! So cute! Waiter was friendly, shared some of the restaurant's backstory. Great Italian food, wine was wonderful as well. Outside space is inviting, fireplace roaring when we left. Really nice place - will be back, for sure.

The family treated me to dinner for the first time and man what a spot! The other reviews were spot on the bread is so amazing! It's really nice how they have the garlic, spices, and cheese to add to the olive oil. I had the rigatoni and it was very good. For dessert I had the Banana Pudding and it was beyond amazing. The staff was super nice but our server disappeared at times for long periods of time. There was a substantial amount of time that passed while we waited to place our order for dessert.

Make reservations. Parking is available in the back and the entrance is in the front. Nice outdoor area with fireplace. Inside is cozy and staff is friendly and helpful. Food: The home made bread comes to the table and you will eat it all but don't fill up. The appetizers are delicious and some were eaten before I took some pictures. The main course is excellent and filling. The braciole is spicy and if you like spice, you will enjoy it but if not, ask to make it milder. Ribeye is cooked to perfection the way you like it. Pasta is perfectly cooked. Everyone loves a good dessert. Go with their famous one and their creme brulee. You will be glad you ate there when visiting Skaneateles.

This is a great spot while you're visiting Skaneateles. Call a head for a reservation. The staff are very courteous. The atmosphere and bar area is very nice. 1st a bottle of red wine. My wife and I split a ceaser salad then she had the Halibut Italiano and I had pappardelle noodles with meatballs and sausage. These were excellent and the home made bread is unbelievable. Then we had expresso and a banana pudding desert. Everything was great and I highly recommend.

We decided to try it again after many years of not going. We ordered the spinach salad. Different from last time, but it was good. I ordered the shrimp with mushrooms and orzo. Flavor was good, but shrimp were way over cooked. (Dry and mealy) waitress was all over the table next to us. Asked if they wanted their food & bread packed up. Showed up with cheese just after their meals arrived. She came over to our table when we were almost done eating (empty handed) and asked if we wanted cheese. A bit late. Kind of felt like she didn’t think we were worthy of her time. BTW, people next to us were wearing sweat pants and the other guy had a baseball cap on. I’m a retired PGA Golf Professional. We dressed for the occasion . I don’t get it!!?? Very disappointed I did leave a 20%+ tip. But she definitely didn’t earn it.

Haven't made it here in quite some time as it's always packed. There was quite a crowd last night but it was a special occasion and we had reservations. our server was quite attentive but not intrusive. all of our dishes were well crafted and excellent. portion size remains on the abundant side of the scale. Weather permitting - next time we may try some of the outdoor seating, which was not used last night as it was cool with rain very possible. Although not a drawback last night sometimes the overly loud interior can be a slight negative.

I ordered a cold lobster roll at the Syracuse Blues Fest today. There was definitely not what you'd call a generous portion of lobster in the roll. The real kicker was that the lobster was all very finely shredded scraps of lobster. Not even one discernable small chunk. It was definitely not worth it for me at $24. Just my opinion. We have eaten at the restaurant multiple times, and it has always been great, so I was a little surprised at the lobster roll.

Excellent service, very courteous waitress, and they were extremely aware of anything we needed at our table. The food itself was delicious. I’m not a huge veal fan, but still enjoyed my dinner. The orzo was splendid. The dessert by far was the best part of the meal.

Definitely a different type of menu. Had to read each caption to know what to order. I had garlic bread stuffed sirlion with a red sauce over it. Hubs had swordfish. Interesting place with writing all over the walls. It was a unique experience. Had the orange creme brulee - excellent dessert If you are looking for an experience for dinner and arent afraid to spend $$, its definitely worth the trip

Really nice dining courtyard with a fire fireplace and they had heating stations in the event it got chilly. The food was decent and our server Sara was especially pleasant. My wife enjoyed her shrimp pasta, while I had the rib eye with fig sauce with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Compared to where we stayed, it was a long drive to get there. No real complaints except that dining during a pandemic took away from the experience. Overall, it's a decent place.

Restaurant is freezing, thankfully I brought a jacket along. Bread was amazing, entrees were large, but seemed a tad mediocre for the price. Desserts were generous and delicious. Service was pretty good, but waitress seemed stressed and slightly put out when I asked for things. Overall, I think this place is overhyped and there are better options for upscale Italian in the area.

This was a takeout family size platter of Arrosto Di Maiale Con Escarole, Mostardo Di Pera. The entre was delicious except that the escarole must not have been washed properly. In turn the entre was very gritty, and many in my family would not eat it. Too bad for skimping on the escarole's washing/rinsing step.

Great atmosphere but truly let down on both the quality and quantity of the dish when compared to the price ($100+ for 2 people). The homemade pasta tasted undercooked and thr sausage on their meatball and sausage dish was slice very thin and resembled that of pizza sausage. The setting was nice and quiet, but we would not return based on this experience. Service was great and waitress did a phenomenal job!

The service and atmosphere was amazing the food on the other hand, was not seasoned and cold. This was our first time here and very disappointed!!!! Was expecting better with the food. Will not be coming here again!!! My left overs they wrapped in tin foil shaped as a goose but then inside was plastic wrap with my food in it like what!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?

Waited over an hour to be served from the time we ordered and one of our meals was so overcooked and dry, we couldn't eat it. The mushroom orzo dish was fine but not great either. They handled it very well though which we appreciated. And I will say their bread was spectacular.

Went here for sister's 21st birthday dinner with family. Waitress was completely clueless. She couldn't open the wine bottle to start and was not the wine we asked for, but did not want to make a stink, and was slow on service. She had 3 tables and we were a party of 7 and her other tables were parties of 2 and 3. Upon delivering the appetizer, some of it was spilled all over my dad. The server who brought it(who was different than our primary server) did NOT apologize. Our waitress did not apologize either. The food was decent, but way overpriced. After getting our entrees it was about 45 minutes before our waitress returned as we all sat there with empty plates waiting for service. After speaking with the hostess, the waitress finally returned to ask if we wanted to see a dessert menu. When clearing the plates, silverware was spilled on my mom's head with again no apology. At this point in time we had already been in the restaurant for over 2 hrs. After dropping the menus, we sat for another twenty minutes waiting for the waitress to return. Now the night was ruined as frustrations grew and we ended up asking someone else for the check. We finally left the restaurant almost 3 hours after we sat down and my poor sister didn't even get to order dessert on her birthday. This place is way overrated and we will not be returning. P.S. the handicapped parking is no where near the door making it difficult for people like my grandparents that have a hard time walking to walk uphill a ways to enter the place. If you have handicapped or elderly in your party, drop them off and then park. Having never been here before we were unaware of that beforehand. The closest parking spots are reserved for "bakery only."

Incredibly pretentious with mediocre food. The Caesar salad wasn't - Instead was a corn dominated wilted lettuce soup, Just awful. My New York strip steak was half fat and grizzle. Even the edible parts were incredibly chewy and tough. The cannoli Was so overstuffed that the shell was Soft and wimpy. The slow roasted pork Entrée that two people had, reported it as being a cheap pork belly cut, full of fat with no taste (one sent it back). The tiramisu was all cream with very little cake and poor taste. We came from Rochester to Tour Skaneateles eat there on a friend's recommendation and we'll never go there again. $200 for four people and none of us had a decent dinner or dessert.

First time here we sat at the bar and the bartender was excellent at helping me find something to eat due to AFRID Autism. Second time we were sat immediately by hostess. Help came from young gentleman who we asked for hot water. Not cold. He returned with two steaming hot paper cups and plastic lids from STARBUCKS! I was completely embarrassed! Went to hostess to complain about it because our waitress, Julie was busy. Hostess returned with two cups of hot water and saucers. Julie our waitress, was trying to explain how the menu didn’t have fettuccine Alfredo. She was hostile about telling me that it’s not on the menu. I told her the bartender helped me out last time. I’ll go ask him what it was I had. She was correct about what cheese and it not being on the menu. I tried to ask her for something as she just finished taking another order. She refused to look up at me and I tapped her immediately before she passed me by. She kept walking. Immediately knew she was getting a low tip. I went to use restroom. Came back to find out that my friend was asked if he wanted dessert. He said he would like to see the dessert tray. She walked away saying that she doesn’t have time for this. Then walked away. We asked for the check. She threw it on my friend. Tossed it right onto him. Walked away to another table. I spoke up and said “I have never met such a rude waitress as her!” Hoping that she would hear it. Not satisfied, I went back to the hostess and it turns out that she is the manager of the restaurant. We got the “Oh I’m so sorry!” This place is not what it’s chalked up to be. Hospitality is out the door. She missed out on a 30% tip and was left 5% If it was me? I would have paid with a smile and walked out the door never to return.

I've dined and ordered takeout before from Rosalie's and it has usually been a great experience having gone back numerous times with family and friends, however I found our take out margherita pizzas to be embarrassingly bad. They look and taste like they were bought from the supermarket freezer section. One of our pizzas even had a chunk missing.

Food was very disappointing. Spent almost $300.00 and 3 out of the 5 meals were blah. Spoke to the hostess not very helpful or responsive. Locals that brought us will not come back. We are from Florida. We won't either. Should have read other reviews. Guess it depends on which chef is on duty.
