Opinions de CoreLife Eatery Camillus
This was my first visit to CoreLife Eatery and it seemed appropriate coming from Green Planet. I was looking for something to hold me over to dinner and avoiding fast food. I pulled up their online menu and found the tacos are just the right size. Many taco options, I went with the buffalo. I ordered online using Apple Pay (for the first time lol) and wait time was 20-25 minutes. It was not busy so that was a little surprising. They are using Grub Hub app when you order online, maybe that effects the wait time. I stopped back to pick up almost an hour later. It was in the pick up section that you can grab and go. Unfortunately not hit because I got side tracked due to unexpected wait. I loved the trendy ambiance and signage Indicating fresh, scratch, clean eating, and gluten free options. I took mine to go and this little taco did not disappoint! It was so fresh and bold tasting and the buffalo sauce was perfect amount and pop of heat. If I have found the perfect chicken wrap, in this case taco this is it! And this taco was in fact finger licking good! I can’t wait to come back and try more fresh scratch menu options!
This was surprisingly good! I am skeptical when some promotes food as healthy, lean, vegan.. I equate that to.. yucky.. not saying that's fair.. But this place was really good! Seriously large quantities ( turned into 2 meals for me..) it was crunchy, satisfying, tasty! I got the Spicy Thai Chicken. Recommend!
I had the Korean BBQ wrap, cup of Mac n chz original, and a cayenne lemonade. It was all delicious! Loved the cayenne cranberry lemonade!
Core is always delicious. Great option for when youre in a rush and need something quick and healthy.
This was a delightful stop for lunch. I got the Korean BBQ bowl. Man, it was a very large portion and all so tasty! Felt great to eat healthy!

Food is amazing!! Low calorie but yet always fresh and delicious 😋
Just wow, always on time for pickup.. The food is amazing everytime. The price is fair for what you get. Bravo team!
The food is good the only issue I had was the lady behind the counter I couldn't hear her speaking because she talked too low and there was a music and other people talking around me when I asked to repeat she did a visual instead of repeating like I was stupid I just couldn't hear her.

I love it here! I've been here many times with my family; I love their salad, soup, and drink options. They have an array of options available, which are all very healthy and fresh. The food is made to order and is always delicious. I love finding new salad places; I'm glad this place is very convenient. I love trying different salads here and trying out different toppings and dressings. I can't wait to stop back in.

On my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered the Buffalo Southwest Chicken Bowl with ranch dressing. On the positive side, the warm purple rice, black beans, and corn on the bottom of the bottom of the bowl were good. However, the small firm cubes of chicken we're covered with a bland buffalo sauce, and the ranch dressing added little flavor to the dish. The halved cherry tomatoes were mixed, some were ripe with a slight sweetness but most were hard and underripe. I couldn't figure out why the dish included green salsa. It didn't seem to pair with any component of the bowl. Overall, the meal was only okay. My wife ordered a build-your-own salad bowl with tofu as the protein and two dressings. After finishing our meal, we went back to look over the assembly line and noted that the steak look pretty good. If we return, we'll order that.
The workers were focusing more on their conversations amongst themselves rather than the customers. Because of that, she messed up my order. The taste was marginal for my bowl and also my wife’s. I DID like how the steak was cooked, however my wife wished that it was cooked more. Not worth the trip back.

The food always tastes good to me but unfortunately had to stop going there as I would get sick after eating there.
The food at Core is delicious when I go in person, but every time I order it via Doordash, the restaurant messes up the order or leaves items out. It has happened countless times. The drivers aren't supposed to be opening the bag so it's got to be the restaurant's fault for not packing the bag accurately. It's really frustrating as I'm not one to publicly complain, but it has happened every time I order from there. The receipt on the bag clearly lists the items that should be in the bag, yet every time there's either something missing or they screw up an ingredient. It's incredibly annoying. I doubt writing this review will change anything, people just don't care about anything.

I adore CoreLife and visit the N. Syracuse location frequently. Unfortunately, my experience with the food from this location did not meet my expectations. The avocado was unappetizing, the purple rice lacked its distinct color, and the chicken was supposed to be buffalo-style. I was refunded after contacting the restaurant, but I was let down by my CoreLife experience.
Loved the Core in N. Syracuse. Was very excited when Core opened closer to my home. This restaurant has been unable to live up to that the one in N. Syracuse. Love healthy, fresh options. Decided to give it another try. $30.00 for 2 salads. Open them up and both salads had brown lettuce. Tried to call so I can at least let the manager know so they can work on correcting the problem. No answer. I would love to be able to go here more often, but it's definitely like night and day from N. Syracuse.
Very small portions at higher prices. The food lacks in quality and flavor. The staff isn’t friendly and this isn’t the first time. I have given them multiple chances but they just can’t ever seem to make it right. My steak plate looked like a child’s portion.
Ordered a steak burrito, the burrito if you could call it that was 95% purple rice, with lettuce that was all yellow. Counted 5 pieces of steak after I emptied the contents out onto a plate after 4 full purple rice bites. Don’t eat here it’s overpriced and Chipotle or Moes is way better.

Everyone was nice except for the skinny guy working at lunch today around 1pm asked him nicely for double chicken and he scoffed at me then through a single piece of cut chicken on the grill and rolled his eyes. Kinda sad behavior considering I enjoy going to eat there. Won’t be going back if there’s kids who act like that.
I came to this place twice, and each time, the staff was rude and have attude towards me when ordering. The portion size is very small, and I had to keep asking for them to please put more. The second t8me I was here, one of the girls was so rude o asked for the manager. By the way, when I asked for her name, she would not give it to me. When speaking to the manager, this girl kept cutting me off while I was striving to explain to the manager the problem. The manager Jim allowed her to keep being rude to me, and I asked him if he was going to correct her? He then tells me he doesn't see her being rude, maybe a little bit, but not how I'm making it out to be. I told him I would be calling corporate because I see by the reviews this is a on going thing with the staff and small portion size. Jim asked me to be patient with him and that he would speak to the staff when he got a chance. He then asked me to order what I wanted because he would make it for me. Jim did make my food correct, and the food was good, but I'm not coming back to this location again.
Im now done with Core - 2 emails to customer support unanswered- both went to JOTFORM, so someone got them. Inconsistent, customer service is easily 4/10, if you walk in and cant see that as a manager, you need better managers. I get it, its tough to hire. I like it here at Core. Just sick of having the consistent burnt chicken and steak no matter what time we get food. Thai noodles need a better line check for quality as they have been under cooked multiple times. There’s no way a consistent line check occurs if I am constantly seeing this. I’m there 1-2 a week. Black plastic on tongs, where is that going? its shaved down from the knife, or is that designed that way, why is double PORK only 5.5 ounces, what is a regular portion? Please do better
I had a very uncomfortable experience at this restaurant and will not be returning. I believe I was treated differently and unfairly, and the way the situation was handled made me feel disrespected and unwelcome. From the moment I arrived, the service toward me was noticeably different compared to other guests. I was ignored, spoken to dismissively, and my concerns were not taken seriously. When I attempted to address the issue, staff showed little interest in resolving it and offered no apology or accountability. No customer should ever feel singled out or discriminated against while simply trying to enjoy a meal. This experience was disappointing and upsetting, and I hope management takes this seriously and provides proper training to ensure all guests are treated with respect and fairness. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience This happened during night shift all the workers was super rude and food was not good
I’ve been working with a personal trainer and following a strict diet — I’ve lost 65 pounds in the past four months. My trainer recommended CoreLife Eatery as a good place to grab a healthy lunch and even suggested asking for a specific amount of protein to stay on track. Everything was fine until I asked for 8 ounces of chicken. The staff member rolled her eyes, snapped at me, and loudly made a point to the rest of the staff that I wanted a specific amount. From that moment on, everyone treated me with sarcasm as if I had asked for something unreasonable. I’ve since noticed other reviews mentioning the same issue at the Camillus/Fairmount location — it seems to be run by a group of young employees who have very little respect for customers. I won’t be returning to this location, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting friendly service or basic professionalism. If you work in food service, simple requests like this should be handled with respect, not attitude.
