Terrific slice. Just yummy. If you really wanna know how great the food is in a particular restaurant, ask for your main course sans salt. That's the true test. Chefs everywhere go overboard with salt. You shouldn't need it.

Great spot! I had forgotten about this place. Got a bunch of hero's and pasta dishes. Everything was amazing, including the veal Parm heros! Bread was so good, and the veal was awesome!

What can I say?? We LOVE this place. We eat here just about every week. The food. It's so good EVERY time. It's delicious, fresh and comes out so HOT each time. The menu has so many great choices but the specials steal the show and they are always willing to customize a dish to suit your needs. As good as the food is, the service may be even better. We are treated like family when we arrive. Each member of the team welcomes us and ensures everything is perfect from our favorite wine waiting for us to a perfectly manicured table throughout the meal. 10 out of 10 Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a very nice family dinner at Mannino's. Our waiter was attentive, made suggestions and told us about some of the dishes. We had the calamari with thai sauce, forgot what it was called. I loved the calamari and I loved the sauce; however, maybe not together. The sauce took the crispiness away from the squid. We had two veal dishes and a side of pasta and it really was enough for twice as many people. My son had fettucine alfredo, said it was delicious. No room for dessert although we did have some good coffee! We'll definitely be back.

I don’t know how they do it, but they have the absolute best seafood around. We literally go there for the seafood, but the veal and steak specials are amazing and obviously the pasta is second to none, you really can’t go wrong, probably come here at least once a week. it’s just a go to spot for a guaranteed good meal, whether eat in or take it’s always excellent

From the start when we reserved our water everyone was so pleasant like we made their day. Our waitress was a joy to deal with. The meal came out in a reasonable amount of time and was nice and hot and they were more than happy to pack up our leftovers so we can take it home. We will definitely go back when we're in the area.

Celebrated my son in laws 40th birthday here with my husband, kids and grandkids. First time there, but won't be our last. The baked clams were incredibly delicious, as were the seafood dishes and Chicken Francais. We've been to more expensive places that were not nearly as good as this place. I was very impressed with the food, the ambience and the great staff.

My family eats here/ takes out probably once a week. Food is good, consistent and the staff is always friendly. My mom ordered their gluten-free pizza and said it was the best she has ever had. When we opened the box at home, It had its own metal tray which is probably how they cook it so it doesn’t get cross contaminated and came with its own pizza cutter. Definitely a must try if you need gluten free. If you don’t, try their buffalo pizza!!

This was my first time at the Smithtown location. The restaurant area was comfortable and we were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with offering suggestions. Prices were reasonable for the portions. We had a few appetizers for the table and our entrees and had plenty left to pack as leftovers. The food was excellent as was our overall experience.

Excellent pizza in service,they have a huge selection of wine and a great menu for the restaurant. Definitely high-class pizzeria restaurant!

This is my go to place. Feels like family and everything is always as close to perfect as can be. People are giving them less than 5 stars after saying everything was great. Because of price? That’s not a review that’s nonsense. If you haven’t noticed all prices have gone up in the last 4 years. This is a fine restaurant that serves pizza. Not a pizza place. Wake up those that are rating a restaurant based on price.

Food was Phenomenal. From the baked clams to the entree to the dessert. Yummmmmmy. I’m originally from New York and now when I visit this is definitely on my go to places. I think another meal here is in order before I go back to Utah ❤️ Service was absolutely amazing.

The pizza was excellent! Very surprised how light the Grandpa slice was. I was expecting it to be heavy but it was like a fluffy pillow. Fresh Tomato, onions, and breadcrumbs. A little too much oil for me but it wasn't salty. Service was friendly. Chicken parm had the right amount of chicken, sauce, and cheese. Great dough and cooked with a nice crispness. Very happy!

Took my girlfriend here for dinner. Unassuming place right in the shopping center. We were seated immediately and were given nice bread. The chicken special I had was really excellent, and my girlfriend enjoyed her pasta. I honestly didn’t think the food would be as great as it was considering half of the place is a pizzeria. Service was really good as well. I will definitely return!

Got take out for my visiting family while they were visiting. They live NY pizza and said it was delicious and hot the spot! I had the pear salad and really enjoyed it. The greens were super fresh and high quality (not iceberg or romaine!) Counter help was friendly and the place was busy.

Our waiter and staff was fabulous! I don’t think the food was as good as the commack venue, but it was good. The chocolate cake was outrageous! The drinks were good and there was plenty of bread. Everything looked so good we forgot to take pix:) lol

A good pizza place, I enjoyed the food here quite a bit. The pizza was cooked well but wasn't burnt to a crisp, and we had a hero which held up well and was delicious. When working in the area this is a great spot for lunch or dinner.

AC broken on the hottest day of the year could not eat more than a few bites. Took the rest home.

Friendly waiters and staff with good food, but it was a little bland. The tomato we got for our caprese salad was white and crunchy.... But the mozzarella was fresh and delicious! The meatball parmesan hero was crunchy and large, but not as flavorful as I would like to experience while eating a hero. The pasta my girlfriend got was not exactly memorable either.

This is an excellent restaurant. A combination pizzeria and sit down restaurant with elements of fine dining. The food is excellent, and the servers are extremely courteous and professional. I warn you that on Fridays it can get busy, but it isn't the restaurants fault, but the demand as this place is excellent. The combination pizza, and food menu are delicious. You will love this place.

Excellent food, but will definitely dig your wallet. Be prepared to pay $20 for a salad with chicken or $25-30 for a regular pie. Still go there even considering the price because it's a nice treat for the family.

Staff was nice. Food was decent and chocolate lava cake dessert was delicious. Staff really attentive making sure you have a drink at all times. Also have taken out pizza here and it was good.

Food was delish, we liked their sauce. You get nice portions, the bread basket was fresh and the water was filtered. The service was great, they had many people working the floor at all times. Only complaint was they marked up our pizza pie by 55%. We ordered two main dishes and a pie for 2 people to split (a child and elder with small appetites.) The menu said the pie (a plain pie with 1/2 topping) cost $25 but we were charged $39. For me, that markup cost was a little excessive. That’s never happened to us before so we were a little shocked. Overall, it was a pleasant experience but I’m not racing to return for a sit down dinner anytime soon.

I have eaten here before and really not had any issues. However, I have to echo some other recent Reviews based on my most recent takeout order. The chicken cutlet Parm was not pounded thin and more resembled chopped chicken with a bitter canned sauce. The garlic knots were undesized and not very flavorful. I would expect better given the high volume of business you apparently do. Thank you.

The atmosphere was amazing, the service was as well. I decided on the red snapper special. The taste was amazing, I was surprised on the price. This place is amazing, not sure if the price is worth it. For one entree I paid $63 for fish. I think this is a bit steep, but again the taste was delicious. Wish it was lower. Would go here again if it didn’t cost a paycheck.

Drinks are always made very well however very expensive 18.00 for martini for pizzeria/restaurant. Portions are healthy but still find expensive. Chicken parm fell a little flat. Bread basket tasty. Service great.

My office has catered from here many times. Never a bad meal. Food is really good. Today the office decided to go to the restaurant for lunch. We all just wanted pizza so we ordered at the counter. The two guys behind the counter were very intense and in no way friendly. No hello. Definitely no friendly smiles. “What do you want? “ “how are you paying?” Was about all The interaction we got. No eye contact either. There weren’t many customers waiting so it wasn’t like they were super busy and had no time to be polite? No second chance for a good impression. But I honestly don’t think they cared about that. Too bad. I really like the food but not enough to endure cold unfriendly service. I’d rather give my money to a friendly place with nice people.

I’ve had Mannino’s many times in my life, but last night was the first time I’d been here in years. I ordered two cheese slices to go, and the total was about $7. It’s definitely more expensive than I remember. The pizza tasted fine, but it wasn’t even warmed up all the way. It was in the oven for under two minutes, so by the time I started eating (~10 minutes later), it was already cold. Not what I’d expect from a place with such great ratings. One compliment I can throw in is that I love the new outdoor section! It looks great and is a nice open-air option if you’re stopping here to dine in.

Food is good most of the time but owner Frank is arrogant and obnoxious all of the time. Love when he is not there.

I have been here a few times, and never had a problem before, but this time I was very disappointed in the food. We ordered a chicken parmigiana hero and it was horrible. First, the sauce tasted bitter, like they opened up the tin can and just poured the sauce on. The chicken was curled up in big pieces, almost like chunks of chicken. This was not a chicken cutlet, which is supposed to be nice and flat and pounded thin. After this last experience, I don't think we will be going back. There are enough italian pizzerias in the area to go to. We just have to travel a little further. Sorry, because your Commack restaurant is superb.

I was badly craving a NY style margherita pizza, with a lovely low hydration crust. I knew I wasn't going to get that on Long Island but I was hoping for something close. I think Mannino's did a great job given that they dont specialize in this specific dough style. The pizza sauce was surprisingly delicious. I just wish there was more snap, bite, crisp to the pizza itself. And less cheese 🫣 Regardless I think many people will be happy with this menu item.

We went to this place based on our friends' suggestion. It was our turn to treat. Two of the women started off with red sangria. They loved it. My friend had a seltzer. The 4 of us had the calamari with Thai chili sauce & octopus salad. Both of them are quite decent. But the squid tentacles are much smaller than the rings. We are wondering if they came from the same squids. The rings are not as fleshy but a bit dried, almost like those found in Asian market prepared squid snacks. Our friends had steak & chicken dishes. Apparently, they liked what they ordered. My wife & I shared a lobster linguini pasta. The flavor is nice, but it was way too salty for us. We requested another portion of pasta to dilute the saltiness. One of the mussels had sand or pearl in it. They didn't purge it completely. This dish has 2 jumbo shrimps. Nevertheless, it was not worth $90. For dessert, we shared tartufo & an Italian cheesecake. The former is nice, but the latter is to be avoided. There is nothing particularly special about it. This place is situated in a stripped mall. It looks more like a diner. Although there was ample parking.

Upon arrival for a 4pm reservation everything seemed fine. The waiter was very courteous and made sure we always had a drink. Out of the 5 dishes, 4 were good. The 5th was not. The "special" which one of my party ordered was the Rib-eye with shrimp. Well, after the shrimp were eaten they were not good at all. The steak was ordered "medium". A medium steak consists of a thick band of pink in the middle. The steak was not cooked to order. It was instead almost well done with no taste and difficult to chew! The party member tried not to complain as it was mothers day and did not want to make an issue. Well, after the steak was pretty much unbearable to eat we decided to inform our waiter. After discussing with him he took the steak back. Well, after a few minutes the owner of the restaurant appeared at our table. Instead of apologizing to use and asking what could be done to make things better he instead attacked us verbally. He said he cut the steak and there was a line of pink and it was delicious. After I told him there was no red in the steak, he rolled his eyes and walked away. We never heard from him again and the 35 dollar meal was still on the bill! The owner should know how a medium steak is cooked and should realize that is not how you speak to customers. My family and I will never go to this restaurant again. I will never step foot in that restaurant again and will inform everyone I know how this owner spoke to my family and I on mothers day!

The pizza was incredibly oily and not good. A pie that’s half plain half margarita was about $30 which feels really overpriced for the quality. The seating outdoors is nice.

Just moved here from Nassau. I can't believe people think this place serves great pizza. Sauce is too sweet, mozzarella isn't the highest grade etc. Somebody PLEASE tell me a place that actually serves good pizza other than Umberto's, which is too far to go on a regular basis.

We have been long time customers, but our most recent experience has us questioning if we will return. My husband ordered a sausage and pepper roll for an appetizer. There was a significant language barrier with our server, and he explained to him multiple times what he wanted. My husband ended up receiving what looked like a garlic knot stuffed with Sausage. For dinner, my husband ordered the Veal Chop, which he orders every time we dine here. Tonight, the veal chop came out looking like a lamb shank. Not pounded out, a thick tendon of meat, extremely tough. And for the price, extremely disappointing. I had one of the specials, the cod. I received what looked like 2 cod nuggets, drowning in liquid, with tons of chopped tomatoes and a few asparagus and artichoke pieces. We were so disappointed, frankly shocked, I didn't even think to take pictures.

Had pasta with chicken and broccoli. Chicken could use more seasoning. Was very oily. Tried pizza, bland can't place cheese but had no taste. Had slice of grandma pizza, surprisingly that crust was cooked right, sauce was decent. Service impeccable. Appears to be local place, had good crowd for Friday. $14.85 for 2 slices, 2 knots and a seltzer. I feel that is pretty high for pizza. The food was good but really not worth the amount. I will not be returning.

Let me start off by saying the food is very good. However, online prices are not accurate. I ordered a chicken parm dinner with vodka sauce instead of regular sauce. It was supposed to be $24.95. But they charged me $39. They told me the prices went up this year and the prices online were from last year. It was almost condescending the way he told me. Fact of the matter is, $39 for a chicken parm dinner is ridiculous, let alone a $15 increase from last year. I should have known better. There are plenty of pizzerias that make the same dinner at nearly half the cost. This is not the first issue I’ve had there, I guess I’ve finally learned my lesson. My advice, try one of the other places in town, they’re just as good and cheaper.

This is the third day I've ordered the same dish. Today the portion was only 3/4. I pointed it out to the owner, who told me it was 12 oz, he said If you put the slices together they would be 12 oz. But I knew from the previous days that today the size wasn't the same, half a slice of veal was missing, so I was showing it to the waiter who served me the previous days. In the meantime, the owner passed by again and rudely said: "I'm having another piece of meat brought to you, damn it, are you telling this to the whole shopping center?!" This is definitely not the way to talk to customers, and I'm really tired to see this crap everywhere, getting worse and worse, even from the owners. Shame on you.

I visited my friend while she was bartending during her shift. I was in the store for 15 minutes at most before her manager brought her to the back and told her to stay there until my boyfriend and I left. We had just come from the gym, a plaza over at LA Fitness, and were in workout clothes. Behind our backs, the manager made a snarky comment to our friend, saying, "Bring more trashy people dressed like that here." My friend had only one customer the entire day, and the owner, Frank, transferred the check to another worker so she wouldn’t receive compensation for the work she had done. No wonder the place has been so empty recently—the negative energy a grown man directs toward 17-year-olds is unmatched.

The worst service by management. We ordered New Year’s Eve and got two dinners that was undercooked and chicken was inedible. When I called the next day to speak to restaurant I was verbally attacked for not calling quick enough and tried to tell me how I should behave. The management was rude. I had eaten there before and not had problems but I will never order again or give them my business moving forward. Most people don’t say anything but never come back they had an opportunity to be decent and lost it for the arrogance. Good luck!

Had a party of 9 last night. I got charged 32 dollars for a double old fashioned that was watered down. My bill at this glorified pizza place was 500 dollars. I was even charged a credit card fee. Also they charged for 10 cherrys for a 1 year old baby . Pizza restaurant at fine restaurant prices.

Horrific experience , will never go back. Ordered a 60 veal chop horrible. My children orders food, daughter orders a Caesar salad with chicken, chicken was burnt and she didn't eat it. I told them and they refused to remove from check. I have never ever had such unprofessional management.

The owner likes to illegally park his blue Infiniti behind the building for hours on end causing cars to have to swerve around it. The guy has Florida plate on it and drives around town like a madman.

We ordered butternut squash salad to go, it was a joke! it was $14 with the tax, not cheap!! and there was absolutely nothing in it except for a bunch of greens and a couple of walnuts..literally a couple, cheese that you needed microscopic utensil to pick it up and a spoonful of squash. I had to call and the owner's response wasn't courteous and understanding the way it should be. I felt the sald was a disrespect and his response made it worse! they are a good store in other respects, but this was terrible.. 😥

I come here all the time on my break from work. But today I had a shorter break and needed to call in my food for me and a co-worker. (To save time) I asked for a spinach pinwheel garlic knot and a regular slice of pizza. Guy on the phone had the knack to tell me “we don’t heat up slices on the phone come in” rude manner, and hangs up. From one Italian to another you can take a hike. Won’t be coming back here anymore. Food and service were good. However, what was not good was that we were very much overcharged for everything that we ordered. When we received the check, it did not seem right so we checked the prices with what was listed on the menu. Everything - the pizza, salad, & entrees were all charged higher than what was on the menu - over $50 higher!. We were also charged for an extra round of drinks that we did not order and did not receive. When we asked the waiter about the discrepancies he said "the menu has our old prices - it has not been updated with our new pricing." I found that hard to believe. He did adjust the check to reflect the menu pricing. We did enjoy the food and would go back - but because of the sneakiness of the waiter inflating the prices, we will definately never return. I wonder how many customers he has does this to and did not get caught?

I have been to this restaurant a few times over the last 3 years. Each time the food has gotten progressively worse. This time it was extremely bad. The food tasted like it had some type of cleaning detergent inside it. I notified the staff and they were extremely rude. The management was even more rude and unpleasant. I will never ever come back to this place again. In all my years of dining I have never been treated with such disrespect when there was a real issue with the food. I should of kept some of the food to have it tested as clearly it had some toxic something inside it. I understand the sometimes mistakes can happen but when you notify the staff and are pleasant about it and they are rude, and refuse to take the dish back. That is unheard of. While I am sure they have there good days, I would never recommend this place. I will never go back. Sad to see a place managed in this way.

Food was awful & overpriced. Got Veal Marsala. The plate had steam coming off it but the overcooked veal & the rigatoni were cold! I had to run them through the sauce to heat them up. The sauce tasted like a can of brown gravy with some broth to water it down. No marsala taste anywhere in sight. Prices were high for food and beverages right through to dessert. Never again. Too bad. They used to be good.

Never Never again. Had baked ziti, the sauce taste like it just came out of a can that was past it's best if used by. Still have gift card left, I'm cutting it up. Never going there again.
