As far as DQ goes, it was a nice store. Cheeseburger and fries were good. Clean and well organized My food came out in what seemed like seconds.

This is one of the best DQs I have ever been to. The staff are friendly, and given the towns small pop everybody know everybody. Imagine basically going to a restaurant thats ran exclusively by your friends. Foods always fresh & hot and they employees are more on the professional side (no gang members or cons or anything like that.)

The service was quick and the cashier was polite, friendly, courteous and was accommodating of special requests. The food was fresh and came as ordered - no complaints. I should say it was during a no-rush/crowd time of the day.

I love the Hawaiian blizzard. They are not consistent as each location will vary. You'll either get it with fresh coconut flakes or roasted coconut flakes.

We can to this Dairy Queen on our way back from Big Bend. The server there working the window name Jesse was the nicest and best customer service I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. He spoke well and was very helpful during our experience.

Some Dairy Queen’s are nice and clean some need lots of help.. This one has it all , it’s clean and great customer service, stop by for a visit!

Stopped here on the way back from far West Texas. We had stopped at DQ in Ozona on the way out there. I advise you to definitely stop at this DQ instead of the one in Ozona. Only 36 miles apart, so plan on it. You will not regret it. Tried the cheese bits and the jalitos and of course, Blizzards. Very hot, crisp and good; thick Blizzards with lots of Heath chunks. AND very nice service. Clean, too. Good job.

Best fast food experience in a long time! Our server Zach was super friendly, and our food was ready quickly. The restaurant was tidy and they cleaned the tables quickly too. Prices were definitely reasonable. Great place to stop for food on a roadtrip.

After a brief trip to Carlsbad caverns we stopped here for 2 bacon cheeseburgers, I’m going to give the crew credit when it’s due, the bacon cheeseburgers we ordered were on point, the patty charbroiled, the bacon crispy, even the vegetables were crisp! The fries were fresh and the service was great! Yall keep doing a great job!

Stopped here on a road trip out west and it was great. The food was really good, the woman who helped us at the counter was extremely kind and helpful, and all of our needs were anticipated. Bathrooms were super clean, as well. If I'm ever driving out this way I'd stop here again!

The food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did NOT clean tables between customers. They were NOT very busy. It was more like they only cleaned tables at set intervals.

It seems like the drive-thru is always a long wait. You have to pull up front with several other cars waiting for their orders.

On the road again? Dairy Queen is a great place to stop a remember when cones were a dime. The staff was refreshing and customer friendly.

Typically good DQ food, clean and nice staff. In Sonora on Sunday and Monday, there are very few restaurants open, in fact, all we found open was DQ and Sonic, so don't roll into town expecting a Texas steak.

It's DQ. They have soft serve ice cream, vanilla only. They're pretty much all the same, however, some have chocolate too! I ask for a squirt of chocolate sauce in my blizzard.

It was a typical DQ. the usual assortment of meals and treat's. But it was a great place to stop to grab a bite to eat while on a business trip. there's a Sonic right across the street. which looked pretty busy. D.Q. not so much. It was a nice visit. good food, friendly service, etc. So I certainly don't have any complaints. If you're in Sonora anytime soon, I recommend giving them a chance.

Nice Dairy Queen with a larger than the average dining area and plenty of parking even for larger vehicles like RV's. Looks a bit dated and the bathrooms could use an update. Employees were friendly and fast, and the food was great. Would definitely return.

My double buster was fire! I guess because so many travelers are going in and out of town it gets busy & by the time I stepped in at eight thirty at night, staff was tired even with that being said my meal got done FAST... a lot faster than a lot of Dairy Queens I been too. So I appreciate that because I was hungry! Thanks for y'alls quick, tasteful service and meal.

Cleanest DQ I've seen in a long time! We stopped in (traveling) around 245pm today. Restrooms were just cleaned - and YES! THEY WERE ACTUALLY CLEAN! Another team member was cleaning the windows. The floors and tables were clean too! No trash to be seen. All team members were very friendly. Hats off to that crew for keeping the place clean! Will definitely consider stopping in during future travels!

Ordered our food, and they didn't get our order right and then forgot part of it. Had to go back in, and the new girl nor her manager seemed to care. They eventually got me my missing food items. I hope in time they realize customer service is important even in fast food.

Food is like all places because of inflation, overpriced. The food is good most times. There are a select few times that it it isn't right. So its eh.

Was hoping since this was a small town location that hospitality and quality overall would've been similar to what I experienced back home. We will just continue to Fredericksburg or ozana depending on our direction.

Slow service but it is the middle of nowhere. Ordered the chicken strip basket and when I asked about sauce they said it comes with gravy, and we would have to pay extra for another sauce. Not quite sure how that works as the menu says “and your choice of dipping sauce, such as our delicious country gravy.” Not “served with our delicious country gravy”. Food quality was pretty good, DQ Texas toast must not be very toasty in general. Sodas tasted weak. We originally ordered sprite and that was nothing more than bubbly water so they replaced it with root-beer and sweet tea. Root beer was also not flavorful but the tea was very strong.

Can get busy near closing. Delicious small town staple!!

The burger was cold. Wrong peanut toppings. Could not eat my ice cream cause they had hole peanut with the peeling. I kept on spitting out the peeling. I had to throw away the icecream.

As far as Dairy Queens go, this one ranked very low on if I would return. Drive thru order taker not very nice. They got our order wrong, we had to wait 10 minutes pulled up just to have our order wrong and the sodas tasted like dirty water. Nothing very positive to say about this location, doubt I will ever stop here when I'm passing through.

My burger patties were CHARCOAL!!! If we hadn't been in a hurry to get to San Angelo, I would have definitely demanded a refund!! Especially after how long we had to wait for our food, and then they accidentally gave us someone else's order before realizing their mistake and taking it back to give it to the lady who had been there before us. I may never go to another DQ for food again, because this isn't the first time that I have had cruddy food at one (different location).

They have no privacy door in the mens restroom. The door is on its side behind the restaurant. Lot of good that does... Looks like they have some rough custmers or someone had a severe case of gas. Drive thru extremely difficult to place an order unless you speek Chinese or Craplish. Food not bad.

Service was not there these kids literally did not want to be there by them saying they want to go home... leaning on register.. walking like zombies.. taking 30 min to receive food.. food was bland no flavor..

The staff was very courteous and accommodating. Unfortunately the facilities needed cleaning. I had to change seats because there were many flies on the window and at least 10 dead flies on the window sill

Driest burger I've ever had from a fast food place. If you told me it had been sitting out for 3 hours I'd believe you. I ate it anyway because I was starving and had a long drive ahead and didn't have time or energy to make a fuss, but man that was disappointing. Fries and blizzard were fine but that burger was awful...

I live in Sonora and sadly I will have to stop going to DQ after numerous disappointing experiences. The staff is always courteous and friendly, that's not the problem, its the food. Once in a while I understand things happen, but for the last 4 or 5 times I have gone to get cheeseburgers to go, they have been so cold the cheese wouldn't even melt. The meat patties seem to have been cooked earlier and were not fresh and the same thing for the fries. In addition they place so many onions on the Burger that's all you can taste. I have been eating at DQ all my life, and that's why I'm so disappointed.

Greatly disappointed!!!! And I love Dairy Queen. I was driving from pheonix to Brownsville. Decided i would get DQ so i stopped here, asked for 4 tenders and fries meal. Literally came with like 6 fries, and 4 nuggets. Smallest tenders ever seen lol. They forgot the gravy, and the unsweetened tea was extremely bitter, and money ice. I was more mad at myself for not checking, and noticed all this when i was already on I10........... never thought my DQ's standards would be this low. I know to check McDonald's, now i will do the same with DQ

Waited 25 minutes for steak fingers in the drive thru. Opened both once back on b the road and my steak fingers had turned into chicken fingers.

Not The cleanest Dairy Queen I’ve been too. I asked for extra cheese. Looks like they threw a few pieces together and it didn’t even melt since the burger was cold. Was brought the food to the table which was nice but only had 2 napkins for 4 people. I don’t usually complain about fast foods as they are what they are but this one just really needs a good wipe down and hot food served

After a six hour drive, my family and I needed a place to kill hunger. When we got our food, it was definitely a new experience. With chilled bread and meat that tasted 3 weeks ago. The coke was watered down with quality tap water. The effort was there, but the quality wasn't. Napkins are upon request.

The person in the drive thru window was rude. When we went in to get the food that was forgotten in the bag we received a dirty look. The person at the counter was wonderful and kind and helpful. Really makes it hard to enjoy the food when we were treated like that. Food was hot and fine tho.

On 11-18-25 I stopped in for a quick bite around 1:30-2pm. The service was impeccable and the food was hot and fresh. I ordered a simple #1 no onions. About an hour later, I became really flush and a little anxious feeling. As the day went on, I started to become bloated and achy. Then by about 7pm, I realized I had food poisoning. Full blown nausea, throwing up, just awful. And this was the only thing I had eaten all day. Im still recovering. Im not sure to recommend or not but I definitely recommend handwashing and cleaning better for this place. Im still dealing with the effects and I just hope no one else had to deal with this as well.

Tacos was great , the young lad who got my order was very professional ,smiled , yes sir , even suggested mayo when I didn’t want mustard . The young Torta with her nails 💅 in the other hand wasn’t so nice you can just tell she was annoyed when she called out my order number while the receipt was in my pocket not giving me anytime to look she made a rude remark indicating that my number was on the receipt, I then ask for taco sauce she then said it’s going to cost me 27 cents which was no big deal but you can tell she had it out for me lol .. she looked pretty miserable I watched her interact with some adults to see was it just me, upon observing if you had to compare to the young lad he definitely add more value & dedication to this location.

The food was good however the service was very poor at this location. The workers were very slow in the drive through. And I had asked for no fries, and a large Dr.Pepper with my order. They still gave me fries and was charged for them. Also when I was given my order I didn’t get my Dr.Pepper I waited there for someone to finally come ask me what was wrong. While I watched them just sit around, and stare at me. Finally when I was asked what happened I told the lady I didn’t get my drink, and she said it was never charged on my card. Even though I clearly asked for a drink in the drive through.

The drive thru is often closed, went up there today and it was closed until one of the employees friends came through the drive-thru and then it was open and then it was closed after that again, weird... Guess the window only works sometimes and it depends on who you are.

Worst tacos I have ever had. Grease galore, only one had lettuce. Other two barely any meat. Two cooks were just very sloppy. And no receipt to file a complaint.

Drove 11 Hours from Tucson with my kids and wanted some sugar to keep driving to San Antonio and when we showed up to this location at 10:00 pm exactly we weren't told anything about being close or greeted, I called store and I asked to help us with a small order and they still wouldn't get us an ice cream cone. Worse customer service ever, I guess you get the small town employee service who just don't want to help!.

Never again. We waited so long in line and when we got there to order the guy kept messing up and going petiods without speaking. I was ready to just take the L when I found out he was a kid, maybe 16 at the most. Maybe it was his first job and was nervous? I thought. And then I saw him playing around, talking. Now wgen you're not serving anyone and you don't have work to do, go ham, but when you do put your work first. He was so busy playing that he forgot what we ordered, and the oreo bluzzard I got wasn't even mixed properly. O I am upset because I was looking forward to it, I hadn't been to a DQ since I was little and now, I'm never going back

Very disappointed with everything here. The cashier didn't understand anything we said, when the food came the tray was filthy. Never washed, full of grease and crumbs. Libby was dirty as well...The food was just ok.

If I could rate the staff and food separately, I would! After driving through the most desolate part of desert we have ever been through, we were excited to find a Dairy Queen in the small town we stopped in. The staff was friendly, quick, and made you feel welcome. I would give them 4 stars. But the food was horrendous! I would rate it a minus 5 If I could. I ordered the regular cheeseburger and I have never had so much salt in a burger. It was so salty, I took 2 bites and that's all I could eat. My hubby had a different burger than I did and he had the same problem. We were starving when we got there and still starving when we left. If you ever end up stopping here, just get the sodas and find someplace else to eat.

Doesn't know how to follow instructions. I asked for 1 spice of cheese, gave me 2. I asked for crispy bacon, gave me cold half way cooked bacon from hours ago. Manager told me it was going to take a min to make redo bacon. Waited 20 min for the same issue. Got me refund back and went to Ozona's Dairy Queen and no issues. This place needs a good manager.

The wait time just to get through the drive-through is insane. I would rather go a block over to the family dollar and settle for a microwaveable dinner than to sit in line with any more than 1 person in front of me. Hire more employees or shut the doors.

The restaurant itself cleanliness was fair. I had two pretty big problems with this Dairy Queen, nobody behind the counter was wearing hairnets or hats. The biggest problem I had was the lady working in the register asked to touch my baby... Made my wife and I EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

Sonora Texas right off the IH-10....ITS 3pm and you cannot order thru the drive thru? No sign on drive thru menu. What's the purpose of having a drive thru if you don't offer the service? Not everyone is capable of walking into a restaurant so they use the drive thru...unacceptable!!!!!!! Lost 2 customers from this location.

RUDE! The employees here are totally rude! No eye contact. Slammed the register shut. Spoke to us like we were completely inconveniencing him. I ordered 4 chicken baskets TO GO... Only me and my daughter here so obviously we aren't eating here. They brought out our 3 ice creams first with no lids for the sundaes. Everyone is rushing around like they're trying to close but it's not closing time. We will definitely go across the street to Sonic if we ever come through Sonora again.

Dairy Queen has gone downhill on the banana split at this location,, they give you only vanilla soft serve ice cream instead of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla hard ice-cream. Not even worth having it. Totally disappointed... and to top it all they insult me by giving a generic replied to mask the real issue. read it below.... they say it was my craving when the they are taking short cuts to save time and money to make a banana split.

The drive thru speaker is hard to hear and the DQ employee taking orders has an attitude the size of this lovely state. Update: received the food and could not finish as the coca-cola which was served by Suzy definitely had some kind of chemical in it. We got 2 cokes and 1 was normal and the other tasted like a kitchen cleaner. It was not flat soda— it was a tampered with beverage. A complaint had been filed with the store operator and I am awaiting a response.

Wow! I just ordered a banana split blizzard and it had a couple of pieces of bananas, nothing else. I guess they didn’t have strawberries, pineapple and chocolate. Plus the girl at the window didn’t really seem that friendly either. Dissatisfied!!!

I'm not sure why we continue to go back! Food is cold , not fresh! Wait I know why, cause this and Sonic are the only places that serve burgers! I give any establishment the benefit of the doubt. We was hoping for changes from our last visit. This place needs a new manager, one that eats the food they cook! Get you an order and try your own . Don't let your employees know it's you! Driving from El Paso, my family and I stopped in to stretch our legs and enjoy a meal. The strips were good, the gravy was indeed something needing to be studied a little Chunky is an understatement. Moving on to desserts was no better. Looking to order only smalls for my family I was instructed that even though they would use medium cups for a small order I would be charged the larger difference. Seems inventory and Management needs to be addressed. However, not as much as the bathrooms need to be attended to. As I walked into the bathroom the first stall literally had 3 flies circling within the stall. Almost an invitation of the brave or a warning to the weary. A I sat in the lobby I saw two employees enter the women's bathroom. I male and one female enter together in the women's bathroom. Neither of their hands looked as they used the sink as they went back behind the counter and kitchen. I'm only writing this review as my travels will bring my family and I out this way again I will ensure never to return as I read reviews. Travelers, wait til the next town.

Passing through told my husband let's eat at DQ I order at the counter and the lady was rude I said hello and nothing I said ok .So order and said on my burger I want mustard no ketchup guess what I got ketchup no mustard so took it to the counter the lady that took my order was in the back eating the other lady came to the counter and I told her I didn't want ketchup I asked for mustard.So then they gave me my burger when she bought to the table she said look at to make sure it's right I said Yes and ty I got the kids meal .No a good experience.

Literally the worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. My family and I ordered gravy on the side and it was the chunkiest, oldest gravy ever. We ordered meals with fries and the baskets each had like 20 fries lol. And the cashier one the drive thru was laughing the entire time and talking to her coworkers while taking our order. Huge inconvenience.
