What a wonderful little cozy warm and ideal couple restaurant to get away to!! Gotta love the vibe and staff here. Energetic. Knowledgeable and great fast friendly service!! Early bird dinner for 2 starting at 26.95 with salad or soup, and choice of side and dessert options!! Enjoyed the fried scallops with baked potato with the peach bread pudding for dessert 🤤🤤😋😋. Come by and grab an early bird seat with a cocktail or come and enjoy their variety of other delicious dinner entrees.

The wait last night was atrocious, standing room only in the lobby area, and I felt so bad for the overwhelmed bartender, but once we finally got a table we were pleased by the food and menu selection. We were nervous about going to Gus' because we'd heard mixed reviews. My fiance had prime rib (the horseradish was SUPER strong, he took a big bite and was coughing and sputtering for a few seconds, so beware, lol!) and I had chicken marsala. The potions were large and the sides weren't bad, except the veggies (carrots and squash) were pretty much uncooked and slathered in almost-raw garlic. Not a deal breaker, but could've been cooked longer for sure! We didn't expect fondue to come with the meal, which was a nice touch. It probably would've been even better had we gotten there in time for the early bird special, but I wonder how much worse the wait would've been during those hours. Try the minestrone soup with your meal; it was tasty.

It's always nice to see the owner of a restaurant greeting and checking in with customers. Tonight, my boyfriend and I ate at Gus's Steakhouse and it was such a pleasure to be greeted upon entry by Gus himself and his son Vinny. Our server was sweet and friendly and quick on her feet. Our shrimp and chicken linguine was marvelously tasty and the portions, amazing. Real heavy cream and fresh garlic tenderly sauteed graced every spoonful. We were able to take home enough leftovers for two teenagers!!! Gus and Chanel checked on us frequently, and the experience was a great way to top of our 10 hour work day. Gus is also famous for their tender steak and portions so stop in whenever you are in Sonora, California!

Had the prime rib steak was pretty damn good but what really got me was the beer cheese fondue and super crispy bread and the bread pudding one of the best I've ever had.. The minestrone soup of the day was delicious as well. Ambient atmosphere and servers were all super sweet.

Early Bird Special is fantastic Starting w crusty sourdough bread & fondue (wow!). Lemon chicken Chefs Special (trip tip) delicious. The finishing desert bread pudding ended a great meal. Highly recommended

We are new to the area and saw all the cars so decided to try this place. So glad we did. Charming old school atmosphere and great staff. We had Lisa as a server and such fun. Nice menu. From 4-7 was early bird specials and what a deal. Every table gets yummy hot crusty bread with a warm cheese fondue, and even dessert was included with the specials. Give this place a try .. we will definitely be going back.

I took my Aunt for her birthday. I had the Shrimp scampy "delicious" and my Aunt had the fish, deep fried Cod with a baked potato. She said it was fantastic. Then they brought out the peach bread pudding with icecream, with a bd candel and sang to my Aunt. It's her 90th!!! Thank you to the Gus crew for making her bd dinner very special!!!!

Great atmosphere! Food was amazing the lady server was a little rude and sassy but attentive and did her job well. Just didnt like answering questions and just straight seemed like she didnt want to be there (maybe she was having a bad day, who knows). But otherwise food was amazing! It was my first time going there and I was so impressed with the food. I'll definitely come back.

Brilliant old school steakhouse experience. I didn't take a pic out of respect for the vibe. 16oz prime rib was maybe the most flavorful and perfectly prepared I've ever had and I've had a few. Fondue with the bread is both novel and delicious. Is there anything better than a simple iceberg lettuce salad on a chilled white plate? Classic. Baked potato capped a perfect meal. Also fun to watch the boss man work his room and keep his staff motivated. I have this on a very short list of "must go backs.". Every plate that went by was beautiful.

We came here on a Wednesday evening before 7 pm and it was packed with locals having dinner. That's a good sign. I ordered the Prime Rib special and it was huge and cooked perfectly! Gus is an awesome guy and shared many stories of his life here. Our waitress considered herself "new" after working here 1-1/2 years. Now that's also a good sign! Great food, great service, great drinks, GREAT prices. Highly recommended!

I've only been here once but really can't wait to go back. Unique, traditional experience. Excellent service. Excellent food. Great prices. Good drinks. The whole package and a great selection of menu. Just something you don't come by anymore. Rareity. I am tooting that horn. I don't even remember what I had I know I'll never forget the fondue and bread and tea though and the waitress she was just very kind. The place was busy and I was impressed. My friend knew I'd love it cus I like to see good service places where they really hit above the bar. I can't wait to be back in fact I'm going to make my bf take me soon. The owner was there reminded me of a place I used to work in OC except better, because I'm saying that I won't say where I worked cus I loved that joint too and my boss but this guy Gus is obviously an OG

This is a go to place. I'm from out of town, they made us feel like a local resident. Definitely a down home feel. Service was impeccable, out standing. Food was amazingly delicious. Must try Cheese fondue. Great dinner choices. We tried Chicken fettuccine Alfredo and Rib eye steak. It was cooked to perfection. It's a must to stop and eat at Gus's Steakhouse. Thanks for great food and excellent service

Always a great meal at Gus's. Early bird specials (3:00-6:00 pm), with an extensive amount of options, are available for every palette. From a mouth-watering burger, to pepper steak tri-tip (my favorite), to fish and chips, chicken, veal, or salmon. A full meal includes fresh bread and cheese fondue, soup or salad, entree and desert all included, 2 for $30. Atmosphere is cozy, service is cordial, friendly and quick. A full bar is available (for an extra cost, of course). Try them out, you will love them!

Gus' is a fantastic steakhouse. One of the only places I've ever been that I've never been disappointed. The sides could be a little better but you get two or three with your meal so even if one thing is "just okay" the rest is always spectacular. They cook steaks correctly. Lots of cuts to choose from. They have a separate bar area if that's your preference. Outdoor seating in the summer. The dining area is not large but they have designed it in a way that you aren't staring at people or eating side by side with strangers, no little kid from the next table messing with you. I would recommend calling ahead as one of the most popular restaurants it can get busy. Gus usually answers and will make a reservation or let you know how busy it is. Nice large leather booths, fast friendly service, classical lounge music, nice steak dinner and bartenders that know what they are doing. What more do you want from a nice dining experience?

Absolutely amazing I wasn't super hungry so they let me get a meal from the early bird. The tri tip was cooked perfect and my son had a rib eye that was amazing and cooked to perfection. Fondue and bread were over the top. And a delicious I've cream to end it off

We had a great meal at Gus's! My wife and I wanted a fancy meal, so one of us got the rack of lamb, and the other got the half pound lobster tail. We split both, so we both had surf-n-turf. The north Atlantic lobster was the sweetest I've had in more than 10 years. The lamb was seasoned perfectly too, and topped with a bit of minced garlic. All the side dishes were great, and the house cabernet was a good one. Our waitress made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is still the same 70s style, which is somehow comforting.

My wife and I went to Gus's for our 21st wedding anniversary tonight. The food was great and the service was amazing. Proud to be able to support a business like this that has been doing it for over 40 years. That is how you know they are doing it right.

It's where the locals go for a reliable comfortable dinning experience! Gus' serves the BEST bread and cheese fondue, it's a staple. All the meals have great portions and the early bird special makes it easy to eat out often. (Two, 3course meals for under 30.00 out the door) The dinning area is quiet and pleasant. We adore their high backed booths for privacy, intimate dining. There is a nice lounge off the side of the lobby so it has a quiet intimate feel as well with no carry over sound from the other room. Gus himself is always on site making sure everything is perfect. He has a full wait staff so you are already eating cheesy fondue moments within sitting down while they take the time to prepare the rest of your meal perfectly. Be prepared for delicious comfort food of creamy pasta, steak, seafoods. It's traditional steak house favorites and Mediterranean flair. Now they have an outdoor dinning area under a canopy of lights. It's quite the getaway from everyday dinner. Try Gus' you won't be sorry you did!

Gus's was so good tonight. Dino was the chef tonight and everything was so good. I had the lobster which was fantastic, my husband raved about the fish and chips, our other party members said the ribs were the best and the fried scallops were to die for. I would definitely recommend eating there. The fact that is Father and Son owned makes it very personal and family oriented, and the staff makes you fill like your at home with the best food ever.

Very well made, fine dining restaurant. This is the perfect place for dates and small groups alike. Fine dining pairs with a craftsman American feel to the restaurant is an excellent combination. The food is the best many might have. All of it is very carefully made to perfection. I could even hear comments and little noises of approval here and there from various others near me. If you're looking for a drink, there's a bar as well with social fellows at the counter. Just be careful, because prices are about what you'd expect for fine dining. High prices for very high quality.

Best ribs anywhere and it's enough to take home and share with someone else. OMG, the ribeye is a huge portion and cooked perfectly and...it tastes like steak! No random pieces of meat glued together here... The meat is the real deal. ❤️

2nd time I've been here, but my first time was back in 2011. I regret not coming more often!! The food is absolutely amazing, there's a darn good reason why it's the best steakhouse in the area, by a long shot! I had the sirloin special, and it was literally melt in your mouth. I've had filets that required more chew, this was perfect! The mushrooms and special seasoning is a perfect topper. The veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife had their fish and chips, and yall, this is no joke, better than fish and chips we've gotten in San Francisco! Fish was nice and juicy, cooked perfectly and not soggy or fall-apart when you go to pick it up. The fries are nice and thick, have a great crispy outer, but fluffy inside. The tartar sauce was magnificent, a great balance of flavors, combine that with some malt vinegar and you find that fish and chips can be gourmet! And to top it all, the cheese fondue and Sourdough bread is a perfect start to the meal! The bread has a nice sourdough tang, a great crispy crust, and a very soft and fluffy insides. Definitely not some store bought, I'd wager they have a deal with a local baker. The restaurant was very clean, well set up, and not over the top at all. The staff super friendly, Gus greeted us and showed us to our seats, which was neat, you don't see that very often. The ONLY downside, the table in the booths can be a touch big, I had to squeeze a little to get in, but I'm also not a bean pole, and it was a very very minor inconvenience. I highly recommend Gus's if your looking for a GREAT meal, a great place to take a date, and don't mind leaving beyond stuffed!

One of the best deals you can get anymore! We got the 2 for 32 deal. Came with bread and fondue, soup or salad, entree and sides, and desert. Each! Amazing value. Great flavor and quality, and a homey yet stil sophisticated atmosphere. Cannot recommend enough! Will come back Everytime we are in the area!

Had such a wonderful time at Gus’s. The food was just okay. Don’t expect Michelin star. But for the price, portion sizes, and FANTASTIC service, I could not be happier. Who could be unhappy with unlimited warm bread and hot cheese?! I haven’t had better service since before COVID. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! The early bird is especially a great deal!

Went here with my partner, dinner was absolutely amazing I had the tri tip alfredo and he had the cajun shrimp alfredo they were both delicious. We also got fried scallops, minestrone soup, and a salad all great. The waitress was very polite and friendly got our food out quickly and with absolute perfect timing. What a cool little spot - My family lives in Groveland and they have been there before and loved it as well. I wanted to go there with my sister for lunch and I'm so glad we did. This was a great ittle find, I enjoyed the decor, the atmosphere was cozy even for a lunch . The food was amazing my wife had the salmon which was cooked perfectly, my steak was done to perfection. And to top it off the price was absolutely amazing. We will be back.

This is truly a gold nugget of the Sierra's. Gus met us at the door And showed us to the bar. The bartender was very friendly and made good suggestions. When we did get to the table, our order was taken quickly. They brought us bread and fondue. When the meal arrived, I communicate to my wife. The portions are Very big, I had the veal parmesan, it would have fed 2 people. As well as the veal parmesan, I had a huge portion of of pasta, My wife had the shrimp Alfredo, again it could have fed 2 people. and they kept the bread coming. As well as fondue. Our waitress, Babet, was very attentive to all our needs. I would highly recommend Gus's steakhouse.

This place has been around a long time for very good reason. Affordable 3 coarse meals for 2. The steak is cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, just the right amount of seasoning. The bread and fondue was a creamy, warm, and buttery welcome to my taste buds. Just the house salad alone was 5 star. The greens were fresh, I mean crispy fresh. Taste just picked and sun ripened from your backyard. The steamed vegetables were perfect. Not to hard and definately not over steamed. There is enough entrees you could eat here every night for two weeks and not eat the same meal. Gus you are definately what it takes, hospitality, and great food, to make a 5 star steak house. You are a landmark in the making.

A charming steakhouse in a small town with great food and excellent service. Each table is served with bread and warm cheese on the side for dipping, which is a nice touch. The steak comes with a choice of salad or soup and a main side. Delicious, reasonably priced, and definitely worth trying. Highly recommended for friends visiting the area! 🥩✨

This place is like walking into your grandma's house for a family dinner, in all the best ways. It's cozy with limited seating, the staff are on point. They are attentive, thoughtful and accommodating. The food gives very "home cooked" meal status. Their cheese fondue is absolutely delicious and warm bread has just the right amount crisp to the crust. They do a 2 meal option for a set price and its a great deal. On our most recent visit my husband got their clam chowder, which unfortunately left a bit to be desired. It didn't have that creamy chowder consistency, it was very watery. I had their minestrone, which was very tasty. Overall, this place is always worth the stop.

Honestly this is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to... Coming from AZ to CA for a Yosemite trip, we stayed in Sonora and went to Gus's both nights. Eating a three course meal for under $40 is unheard of anymore.. To be able to have that, amazing flavor, and great service.. I'd come back here anytime we're in the area. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I got the chicken picatta and ribs with the pineapple teriyaki sauce on the side for the 2 for thirty-two special. It also came with a soup and salad and 2 little desserts. The ribs were seasoned well without the sauce. The chicken picatta was pretty good. The veggies had no flavor and the penne pasta was good, I think i got the lemon herb flavor. It also came with bread and butter with cheese fondue.

Loved the old school steakhouse feel for the place. Was greated by a lovely older gentleman, taken to my table and had a kind subtle chat. The server was right behind him with this wonderful fondue and fresh bread for starters. My steak was as ordered and still juicy and fresh.My only downside was the side of pasta was a bit chilly.

Lovely place to stumble on. The service was prompt and attentive and the bread with cheese fondue and butter to start was great. The guys had the prime rib and were extremely happy. I had a chicken dish and the mash potatoes and veggies were delicious, but the chicken was sub-par in my book. Overall still very tasty.

Gus's Steakhouse is one of my favorite places to dine while in Sonora. The portions are plentiful and the food is absolutely delicious. The staff is ultra nice and friendly as always. We had a large party, so seating took a while, but the wait in the bar was fun and relaxing. And yes, Gus was there! The Rib eye was fabulous!

Surpassed expectations. I was expecting dinner bread is walked in and saw the atmosphere but it comes with a surprise. Fondue!! Hot, melted cheese, served in a small sauce pan that's placed above a candle which acts as somewhat of a centerpiece for your table. That was a brilliant touch. Very good too. Sourdough bread is enjoyable. Hard crust but that's typical and sometimes desirable. Service was pretty standard. No complaints. Ventilation of a room isn't something I often mentioning but air conditioning blows from the floor up. If you're sitting at a table on the edge, you might get cold air blowing your arms or legs. Funny stuff. Anyway, the food was all very good. Meats were delicious and not overcooked. Tender. Soup was very tasty. Prices totally right for what you're getting. Good quality and portions. They also offer freshly cracked pepper for your salads. Do it!

Great old school steakhouse. The minute we entered the dining room we could smell the prime rib; it lived up to the delicious aroma. Fettuccine with shrimp had a full dozen shrimp. And oh yeah....pot of melty cheese and a basket of soft, hot sourdough to dip in it on the table, included! Our server Chanel was amazing.

Great service and food. Love the Fondue and bread. We allhad steaks and they were healthy portions cooked the way we ordered them. The only reason i didnt give it a 5 for aatmosphere is because it is very loud aand crowded. You sit very close to other parties and its very hard to hear your own party. So not good for table conversation or catching up, but great for food and service.

I have been going here since I was 5, my great grandfather was friends with Gus and Gus was so sweet to me as a child, made me feel like a had another grandpa. He doesn't recognize me now but is still so kind. I love this place so much, the food is always delicious and great quality. I only put 4 stars because their portions have seems to gotten smaller over the past few years. Other than that, staff is amazing and kind and there is no other place that I've been to that compares to their environment.

We came in on a Friday evening at 6:00 and were seated within 10 minutes. There Early bird special dinners go until 7:00 p.m. Two meals for $22.95. The portions are smaller than a regular meal but just right for my daughter and friend's son. Still got the fries and salad and the bread you can dip in cheese. My tri-tip was good but not great. Difficult to cut but delicate in the mouth. My friend's prime rib was in the good category. Not the best they ever had but definitely good. The best part about the restaurant was the atmosphere and excellent service. Combined with good food at a good price and I would recommend you go check out the steakhouse.

Great service, reasonable prices, good alcoholic drinks, cheese fondue with bread were complimentary with dinner. Gus, the owner, great guy, greeted us with a warm and friendly handshake. The restaurant is a family, local folks atmosphere. Great looking steaks. *** Do not order the early bird dinner. We ordered the tri tip, which was flavorful, but tough. The included salad or soup were good. The desserts that came with it were awful. The cold peach cobbler tasted like moist bread with canned peaches on top. The vanilla ice cream had a crust of ice on top. If we go back, we'll make sure to order from the regular menu. Lupe, our wonderful server, had suggested the rib eye, or the prime rib. But, we weren't too hungry, and thought that the "smaller portion" early bird dinners would suit us fine. The truth is that we couldn't believe that two steak dinners with all the extra trimmings could be had for $25.00.

Great claim chowder, excellent prime rib the booths are a bit dated and slight smell of mildew. Shrimp $$$ for frozen breded, bread yummy and the velveta cheese fondue is just that Has an excellent drink selection and they are made well Service exceptional !!! Would go back just for the service

I think the food is okay - my wife thinks it GREAT. You sure cannot beat the price. Go for the early bird special - two dinners and they just raised the price to 22 bucks. That includes soup or salad and desert. Yep. And happy hour is at the same time. So, you can have a pop for cheap, too. Oh, and it's Gus's, which is my nickname. He's always there, with his sons, and making sure everything is going smooth. Before you even order .. there's fresh made bread and cheese fondue (endless by the way) that is brought out to your table. What do I eat? Well, I've had nearly everything on the menu. It's all good. Not great, but good. And comfort food. Last time I had the shrimp linguine. Wife had the chicken Parmesan, Kevin had the lamb, I think and Patty M had the other fish dish. It was too much to finish, but, I DID save room for desert. Soda's and Tea are also endless. But, you'll like the cocktails, too. Just have a designated driver, which, was me this time. Dang it. Well. Someone's gotta do it. Okay .. Enjoy Gus's .. and .. tell him Gus sent ya. hahhahaha There again last night! 22 bucks and a beer. Great place to dine and enjoy company! Even when you just left Yosemite! I am 6-2, 230 pounds with a 34 waist .. the food filled me up to the brim!

We visited and overall really enjoyed the food. We had the tri-tip and steak scampi, and our children had the pasta and grilled cheese. Service was friendly and helpful. And the food was reasonably priced. Got a little slow as the main dinner rush came in but that’s to be expected. Adding menu pictures because there hasn’t been any uploaded in a long while ;)

The staff was very friendly. We ordered the 2 for $26.99 early bird dinner. The portions were very small, but I guess that's to be expected with a 2 for deal. We didn't get our dessert. I ordered my steak well done and it came back medium. The waitress was very nice about sending it back to be cooked a little longer. The food was just ok. The steak was tender, but I didn't care for the way it was seasoned. Overall, it was just ok. Not terrible.

Food and service both could have been a little better. The bread and fondue were good but the chicken, ribs and steak were a little bland. Believe it or not the best tasting thing was the kids cheeseburger.

Dissatisfied, I drove 800 miles to collect on a bet at Gus'S only to find a hand written sign saying that they were closed for several days for the thanksgiving holiday. Nothing online about it, no other notifications whatsoever. I feel like that's just bad business. I don't know why business up here just decide to bail on their customers without notice. Sad considering most of the food up here sucks anyways. Well the peppery got my business, sad because we wanted a steak but lesson learned. Never believe their website I guess.

Service was truly superb and above average! We didn't have a reservation, but the staff made every effort to get us seated within just 10 or so minutes. Throughout the evening our server was helpful and friendly even in a very crowded restaurant. While slightly run-down (the seats in our booth were sunken in, which made the table a bit uncomfortable), it was our food that was unfortunately below average. It lacked taste and a quality component; on the same par as Denny's, not a steak-house like we were anticipating. The cheese fondue was a great signature dish but tasted more like melted Velveeta (they would do better serving an fonina or gruyete based fondue instead).

There was a wait to be seated, but it was dinner time on a Friday. The man who seemed to be in charge, (possibly an owner, idk) was very friendly, happy & emitted a good feeling. Waitress & hostess were very nice & helpful. They never let our drinks run out. We had to send back a steak which was ordered very rare & came medium well. Our food was fine, but we were expecting something special.

Prime Rib always good, but prices up $41. First time we decided to share two entrees/ dishes. Mistake. $5 charge for extra plate. Service was excellent. We spent $300 for 6 people. Maybe our go to favorite will need to be go-to less frequently. And, maybe only if we're in time for the early bird 3p- 6p.

Food was just OK. Service was slow and inattentive. Menu does not list food items accurate. Ribs were soaked in something strange. The bread was the best part of the meal. Prices were just a bit overpriced for the quality.

mid week mowait was said to be 10-15 min. was more like 30-40 min. tasty bread and cheese dip, but had to ask twice for refill. had the tri-tip steak sandwich. cooked correctly to order, but not sliced in bun, great sauteed mushrooms and green salad. very, very, pricey. a family member got sick twice after eating there.

Food was so-so. Atmosphere was cramped and noisy. The wait was surprisingly long and the food was rushed--mostly served cold. The best part of this place was the servers--they tried to take care of every need--and the hot bread. Unfortunately, I followed local reviews... Not accurate. Sorry, Gus! McDonald's is better.

Bartender was awesome. Management/owner not the greatest. Food was ehhh. They were out of a lot of things... Every time a server would come to the bartender for drinks The bartender would have to tell them the next best option because none of the menu items were in stock. I wish I owned the place, it seems like it has a lot of potential.

Gus's... I really don't know what to say. It exceeded my expectations in how bad it is I guess. I will say my steak was cooked to order, and the service was friendly. Overall this place either needs a remodel, turn into a full on dive bar, or just close. Prices reflect the quality.

Me and a group of about 20 had made a previous reservation the day before but still had to wait half an hour and the man at the door was mad because it happened to be busy that day.🕐 We were fine, although the place was loud and cramped. When we were finally led outside, the waitresses were extremely rude to our group by completely ignoring requests for an extra set of silverware and glaring at all of us, like, it was super awkward and we were definitely a polite group. 😟So we left after 10 minutes of the treatment. The experience was awful and it wasn't until we were halfway out that one waitress apologized, but it was to late. 😔 We ended up going to a Chinese Buffet, which was incredible!!! Long story but true.🤷‍♂️

Horrible experience with the customer service when I called I just had a simple question“ if they serve grass fed meat and they said no, and they just hung up on me without any kind of respectful way of hanging up the phone with no greeting and beginning of the call and just the girl that answered was horrible at her customer service I don’t know how she’s allowed to answer a phone call for these people but she was absolutely horrible. She failed at what she does. She’s just the employee that works there and this is on Tuesday at 4:35 that I called and her demeanor was just horrible and I believe if they’re gonna be in business for so long, they should have somebody more courteous rather than such a disappointing greeting and just attitude that she had and I don’t expect any better because probably she’s raised around here with no manners and she thinks that if she can talk like that in her own house that she can talk like this to other people and she should not be the person who answers any phone calls if they’re gonna be in business for so long they need somebody who actually knows how to respond to people when they call and how to be courteous, extremely courteous to customers otherwise Applebee’s is right down the street. No one has to put up at this lady’s attitude.

By far the worst steak house. I've been here many times seeing how's I was born in this county. I went in on Halloween knowing most folks are or are about to trick and treat. It would be slow and peaceful. It was slow and peaceful like I expected but I ordered a 50 dollar plate and got a steak cooked only on one side. I ordered medium rare and got what looked like a piece of tuna seared on one side only and charged 26 bucks for a salad that had more dressing that salad, I didn't even know that was possible

$15 for a shrimp cocktail with 11 pieces of regular sized shrimp is ridiculous. For that price it should be 20 pieces, or at least 12 jumbo pieces.

We ordered from here based on the good reviews. My mistake… Everything tasted terrible. Chicken is rubbery in my chicken piccata. My husband’s prime rib was grizzly, tough, and could barely cut through with a knife. The New England clam chowder was horrible. It wasn’t even filled halfway in the cup… I couldn’t even eat it. The calamari was rubbery, not even fried. DISGUSTING. Do not make the mistake of eating here.

So we were seated at 6:46pm and they decided to take our order at 7:20pm and served at 7:56pm. As 2 entire families were seated, order taken and served before we even saw our appetizer salads! We were ignored, and anytime we asked for anything the server would walk away as soon as possible before finding out we needed other items. Meaning we would have to ask two different servers at least twice for the same items before we ever saw it. For example, sugars took two servers 20 mins to get for our drinks. We received our fondue relatively quickly but the server saw our candle was actually dead and useless and set it on the table and walked away, and we had to ask a different serve for a new candle because ours was too burnt to even be relit! We had to ask for silverware after being at the table for 45 mins, hoping we would eat sooner rather than later. My aunt is a diabetic, and requested the order be fairly soon for health reasons and they ignored that fact completely! She had to request 2 bowls of soup over the hour and 15 mins it took for them to serve us in order to keep her blood sugar in check. Four servers walked by approximately 12 times, looking at out table and deciding we weren't worth checking on. As my husband went into the restroom, one of the workers used the bathroom and did NOT wash their hands. I couldn't even eat my dinner because I was disgusted. By the time we were able to leave and asking for our tab, we walked out at 8:45pm. A full 2 hours we were there when we would have been done a lot sooner. My appetizer salad was tiny, my husbands and sons clam chowder was luke warm. My shrimp Alfredo was bland and the shrimp overdone, my husband's burger, requested for medium well done, and while the middle was medium the edges were bloody and rare, explain that one to me! My Aunts food had to be sent back because the meat was such a terrible cut she couldn't eat it as a majority was gristle and fat after the server convinced her to get this cut of meat, after my aunt explained what she did not want or like. This was the most atrocious service I have ever encountered in any restaurant. No one should eat here, not just for the simple sake of indifference to their customers but for health reasons!
