The food there was amazing. The service great and very nice. It is out of the main Sonora crowd so when we got there in the late morning there weren't many people (however by the time we left it was picking up). The portions were great! And the dessert - donuts with ice cream and caramel - just mouth watering! Definitely worth stopping by!

Had the oriental chicken salad. The chicken was nice and crispy. The peanut sauce was delicious. All the vegetables was nice and fresh. Also a giant serving. I definitely recommend

This restaurant is hands down five star delicious. Our servicer was unbelievable, fantastic and totally awesome. The portions of food were by far your monies worth. You can share that’s how much food you receive. We had the prime rib, potatoes and broccoli excellent. If we are ever in Sonora, California I will definitely go back.

What an experience. We got there and it was packed, however we were seated right away. Our food came very fast, Pocket bread was amazing, and the tri tip and cheddar jalapeño mashed potatoes were so so good. Portions were huge. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend eating here!

I got a savage Pastrami Pretzel Burger and it was amazing. The fries were cooked well, the tri tip was tender (though the bbq sauce was too sweet for my tastes). The Jalapeno poppers were fun, super crispy with nice spice. Would definitely go back. Special shout out to our server Delanie, she was awesome.

Another great lunch at Peppery. I had the TBA turkey sandwich and the other is the Tri tip avocado salad. Not too busy at lunchtime on a Friday.

I've been there three times 1st time great 2nd time bad 3rd time great its a mixed bag second visit had over cooked steak and shrimp was rubbery service was good had a great waitress everytime

Im pretty picky on giving 4 stars, but 3 of us with 3 different meals and all very good. Service was just right as well. Big open space inside, very clean. Menu is kid friendly as well. Great place to go heading up or down from the mountains~

Haven’t been to the Peppery in a long time (a couple years) cause in the past we would order a big salad and they wouldn’t cut up the lettuce and it would drive us nuts. So we went a couple weeks ago, I ordered pasta and my husband ordered jambalaya. Waitress and staff are friendly, get our drinks and check on us for refills. Waited about 30 minutes for the food and when it came out, both our dishes were warm. Not hot. Obviously had been sitting awhile before it was brought to our table. We went ahead and ate it, didn’t complain, but was disappointed. Tonight, we go back, I ordered pasta again and my husband decided to order tacos and upgraded the fries to garlic fries. Our food came out and mine was definitely hotter this time, I was happy, but his was barely warm. We try to flag our waitress and she is avoiding our table, when she finally comes around to refill our drinks, we tell her the fries and tacos were barely warm, and mind you we had to wait 40 minutes this time for the food. She offers to bring hot fries but my husband said no, cause he went ahead and munched on them while we were trying to get her attention. His tacos were also really bland and so once again, just disappointed. Probably not going back.

Went with a friend this week, haven't been in a while. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad. The chicken was dried out jerky, no dressing, not good. The fried asperagus was good though and filled me up. When I got there I told the watress I was going to place a to go order for 2 babyback rib meals. They don't have ribs anymore, but it's still on their outdated website. The server was adequate, friendly disposition, but didn't care about website, didn't check on us. Had to get dressing from a different server. I wouldn't chose this place again!

It's been quite a while since I have been into the Peppery; there were previous service issues which caused us to decide to stop choosing this restaurant. Last night my bestfriend & I decided to meet up at the Peppery for dinner. I arrived first and went in to get a table for the two of us. I was waiting in the entry area behind the "Please Wait to be Seated" sign. As I waited another party arrived and was waiting beside me. One of the servers came over walked past me and asked them for how many and took them to be seated. Interesting for me seeing as I had been standing there for a few minutes before they entered the restaurant, while servers walked passed me & those near the bar area made eye contact and went back to their duties. Another couple then came into the restaurant and were waiting beside me to be seated, a different server emerged and started walking towards us, she then asked if I had already been helped and got me seated at a table and got menus & drinks while I waited for my friend to arrive. Once she arrived our server got her drink order and checked to see if we need anything while we look over the menu. We noticed they have an updated menu with all the same favorites. My friend ordered the Angel Hair Pasta w/ Italian Sausage with a cup of soup to start, and I ordered the Garlic Roasted Ribeye with Jalapeno Cheddar Mashed Potatoes & Seasonal Veggies with a house salad to start. The food was good not quite as good as I had anticipated. My friends pasta was over sauced, too much sauce for the amount of pasta. My steak had too much demi glaze on it; I did wipe most of it off and I will order it on the side next time. My steak was cooked slightly under what I requested but still good. We were so stuffed that we did not even want to look at the dessert menu. I probably will go back, but I will wait a bit before we return.

Ordered stuffed cheese bread as an appetizer and didn't get it before our meal. Ordered the special of the day soup, tomato bisque and it was the star of the show... Creamy and seasoned well with a bit of a kick. The appetizer was gross.. Bread was a pita pocket looking thing and cheese was hard... Whole thing was hard! Hamburger was cooked good and juicy but no seasoning with the onions being the star of the show, sad. Service was awful.... Hostess was pleasant. But the server was subpar.. She checked the table behind us frequently but never asked us how the food was. If you are a local, you get great service and attention but not if you are a tourist. Disappointed as this was a trip for our 10 year anniversary. Got carrot cake to go, hoping it's good but prices are high for the quality of the food and crappy service. We come to the area somewhat frequently but won't be back to the Peppery.

This time Up On The Plate at The Peppery Sonora ca, was the California burger. Not too much to go on about. Burger was fair. Wait staff was great. Ample parking.
