Great dining experience indoors (or on the patio) - a reservation would be a very good idea. We were fortunate to get seated without one, but even on this Monday evening, the restaurant was packed. Osso bucco for my partner and Umbrichelli with pistachio and speck for me. Both were very good. To start, we shared Il Taglieri - a selection of meats and cheeses. To finish, crema catalana. Wine, naturally. Excellent, efficient, friendly staff who were patient with our dreadful accents trying to use the Italian names of the dishes.

Best food we had in Italy! The pistachio pasta is incredible, I could eat it everyday! All the other dishes were very delicious as well. Service was quick and the ambience was nice.

Great lunch at Osteria da Mamma Angela. They do have outdoor seating but it was misty when we visited so we inside. Lots of lunch specials. Had an excellent pasta dish. Service was quick & efficient. The food was served piping hot. The prices were very reasonable.

Very nice restaurant with friendly and helpful staff! To have diner outside, make sure you make a reservation, the place is always full! The location and the view is perfect to enjoy your meal... My wife and I had lunch with our 2 year old daughter. Nice atmosphere and very friendly young waiter. We ordered the burrata and prosciutto and paté for starters and it was very delicious. Then we had the pistacchio pasta and steak file - and the sausage with potatoes for our daughter. The steak was too dry and not so good - I told the waiter and they took it back without any discussion and let me order something else (had the pork cheek pasta) which was also very good. I would give the place 5 stars if the steak had been good but instead the service/waiter gets 5. The wine and beer was also very good. We spend 84 euro. Definitely recommend overall.

We had a nice dinner after a long day exploring. Venue It was nice and cosy with a big teddy bear greeting us. 😃 Food The food are good, felt like a home cooked meal. Service Service was warm and friendly which is always appreciated so thank you for your hospitality.

A nice little restaurant in the old town of Orvieto serving traditional Umbrian dishes at reasonable prices. Our mixed bruschetta was surprisingly delicious. The pistachio umbricelli pasta with specks was one of a kind, although it tasted a bit too salty. The pork skewers with potatoes were the very tender, juicy and flavorful. They have a wide range of wine selection including those from the local vineyards.

A classic trattoria off the main tourist path. In terms of food quality, it’s simply OK. The pistachio pasta was a bit heavy but still tasty. I’d say the best way to describe this restaurant is as an ‘Italian default’ with a plus – a solid, straightforward choice for a meal

Slowest service you will find in all Italy. Anna, the waitress looks like she doesn’t belong to this planet. If you want to visit Orvieto’s main attractions and not WASTE your time waiting for a simple dish, then, come here. Otherwise, go ELSEWHERE. Despite asking for a bottled good wine, they NEVER brought the ice bucket. So, you mist for “Superiore” wine and are treated as drinking the inexpensive “house wine”. Unacceptable. Only ONE toilet for men and women, si, after eating HOURS for the food, and HOURS for the check, you saint on. Big line to use washroom. This place is beyond awful

Was referred to this restaurant by a local.I am a middle aged woman very nice and friendly and they were SO RUDE to me! If you are an American you may want to reconsider! Especially a woman traveling on business or solo! I was amazed how they ignored me for 20 minutes- no menu,no wine list. No water. Actually a woman at the table next to me gave me her menu. I don't care what the reviews say.No place can be that good if they think they can treat somebody like that.I came to spend a lot of money there and was referred by a local person that lives in town.She walked me to the restaurant and introduced me.They were horrible to me! Wow! It's embarrassing enough when you travel alone.Restaurants have two options, kindness or nastiness. Undeserved, terrible experience!
