Their mocha is very good and the shop is nice & clean, but they’ve removed all their tables & seating and don’t offer wifi anymore. There are two gender neutral, accessible bathrooms but you need to ask for a key at the front to use them. Limited parking. Definitely more of a take out coffee shop

The food is always delicious here. I know that they get some of their pastries from portos, there is no hiding that; but who cares, sometimes you want to just eat one cheese roll instead of a dozen. Their 3 leches cupcake is the best. I ask for the cupcake to be warmed up and it is so moist! My favorite drink is the coco loco, I highly recommend this drink warm, iced, blended, however you prefer it. This location has a nice interior. When you go there you kind of just want to stay inside and drink your coffee there and smell the delicious coffee aroma. This is my favorite Tierra Mia in the area. They also have valet parking since it is difficult to find parking sometimes.

This location is chill. The cashier was a really cool girl and seemed really happy to be working there. The parking is good too but when I went it wasn't too busy so they're was a few spots open. The coffee is amazing! Tierra Mia will always be my top coffee shop. If you want a premium coffee with high quality you need to come here and forget Starbucks.

Unbelievably good coffee, lots of options (I went with the daily brew, an excellent Peruvian medium roast). Staff is incredibly friendly and courteous and knows their business. Worth the store if you are in the area, the only bad thing about it is the location is hard to get into if you arent familiar with the area!

Tierra Mia is such a welcoming place. Their workers are all such friendly people. The orders are taken quickly and they even help out in giving suggestions if you're unsure of what to order. I popped in here on Sunday morning before grabbing a few last minute Christmas needs. Parking was a little limited but I managed to get a spot at the pancake place nearby (I don’t know if that’s actually allowed tbh). I get inside and there’s virtually no line. Just two people waiting for their drinks and one person ordering. Everything looked SO good in the pastry case. My mom and I got a banana nut muffin, a tree leches muffin and a blueberry muffin (we were hungry) we also ordered two horchata lattes. One hot and one cold. When you compare prices and quality, you can’t beat Tierra Mia. In the past, I would have easily paid around $40 plus dollars for the same amount of food and drinks at a “bigger chain” coffee place but it was a little over $20. The lattes were DELICIOUS!!!! Such good flavor. The cinnamon. The sweetness. So perfect. But the star was really the strawberry tree leches muffin. So unique. Really recommend that one. I just wish they had more locations closer to where I live but I will gladly visit when I’m in the area. Staff was super friendly too!

The short haired girl at the register was super nice and helpful. She guided me on what I should order and mannnnn she did not disappoint. I don't typically order frappes because they usually taste watered down. Nope! Not the case here. I highly recommend the Chocolate Mexican Frappe because it was absolutely delicious. It literally hit every taste bud. I'm in love with Tierra Mia. I also ordered the Honey Vanilla Tea Latte, man oh man, it was so loo delicious.

Best coffee you'll find in South gate. My personal choice is the Cafe Cubano. Thank you guys (staff) for doing such a great job when making a cup of coffee for me to enjoy. I'm just sad that they don't make a bigger cup.

Tierra Mia Coffee is one of the best-kept secrets in South Gate. Their Mexican coffee drinks are phenomenal—rich and full of flavor. I tried the "Café de Olla" and was hooked right away. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the vibe is cozy and welcoming. It’s a perfect spot to grab a coffee to-go or stay for a chat with friends.

When I needed to use the restroom, she handed me the key at just the right timing. She also recommended a drink that turned out to be perfect for me—it was incredibly delicious! We even chatted, and she told me she had visited Ueno in Tokyo last year. Her service was truly outstanding and made my experience here extra special. Tierra Mia has amazing coffee options as well as blended beverages from the smallest member of your family to the oldest. Our favorite beverage are so far the Horchata Cream and the Mazapan Cream (which is without coffee. You can also order it as a Frappe which has coffee). I love Tierra Mia! I first went here about 3 years ago and love going here since then. The coffee is great, way better than Starbucks and their pastries are delicious too. The only reason why I gave them a 4 star rating is because they don't have enough parking. There is usually a valet that parks your car but even then the parking runs out quick. Also, they take a little longer than most places to make coffee when they're busy. With that said I still love this place and take anyone I can when I get the chance.

Coffee is okay. A bit overrated. Not sure if they were training or something but there was like 6 employees and no one knew how to make a cortado. I got a macchiato which was fine but espresso was very under extracted. Too under extracted. Coffee itself is pretty good though. Not sure where they get it and I didn't bother to ask. If you're into the sweet type of coffee drinks that taste like traditional Mexican drinks, then this spot is good for that.

I was a little disappointed when going there after seeing their photos online. I was hoping I had found a coffee shop I could sit down and enjoy a good iced coffee without any of starbucks weird after taste (blech, but I haven't found a good replacement yet so on I suffer). But most of all I was disappointed by the fact that don't do iced coffee with sweet cream. So instead I tried the caramel frappe and honestly it was diabetes in a cup, it was so sickeningly sweet. I gave them 3 stars because I haven't gotten tla chance to really give their menu a try, but in all honesty, I'm not sure I'll be going back what with all the troubled individuals approaching you to beg food outside their front door, and especially so, once I heard from staff, said individuals have a tendency to get violent with customers.

I run my business out of coffee shops and diners. I meet with clients in their homes or the above stated establishments. I was at the Montebello Tierra Mia this morning in fact. Upon arriving at this location to meet with a client to roll over his 401k I noticed there were no seats/tables setup. I curiously asked if that wasn't an option here only to get a smug "duh-like" response. I prefer to give my business to small businesses but I guess I gotta go to Starbucks 😒 Any explanation would've sufficed Ulysses... What's going on here?

Coffee is good when the order is correct. Order confirmation process has helped. Staff should receive some hospitality training. I will go back. Still believe in supporting small business. Im sure our current climate has strained staffing.

There are a couple of things this Tierra Mia does not have going for it. First, the access is either an illegal left turn across three lanes or back behind an alley. Second, the lobby has no furniture at all which we asked about. They said that the owner does not want to put it back since the pandemic. That is pretty sad to hear. The tipping portion is kind of weird too since they always ring a bell if you tip. The service was decent but it definitely did not help overall. I recommend going to another location, but that is my opinion.

This place would be a 5 star coffee shop except they got no tables or chairs to sit on, many times I like to go into these places and just sit down, relax and enjoy my own free time, well, you can't do it here, they have plenty of room so I have no idea the missing tables and chairs.

Good quality and good prices, not allergy friendly. I came here with my siblings, one of them is allergic to gluten and the staff were not knowledgeable about the ingredients that they use. The drinks tasted good, we ordered strawberry cream, a horchata frappuccino, and a Mexican hot chocolate. The strawberry creme is a 9/10 the horchata frappuccino is a 7/10 and the Mexican hot chocolate is a 5.5/10. There is a large menu but not any nutritional information to look at for allergy reasons. There were no seats at all. There was no place to sit, it was not ADA friendly.

I always wondered why this one was always so dead, but when I walked in they all looked at me and still took forever to help me out. The broad woman with the flannel nearly bit my arm off when I asked for my muffin warmed and then practically throwing it at me when it was done. Constantly rolling her eyes every 30 seconds. I visited Tierra mia coffee yesterday at 11:15pm after a concert, with my wife and 2 other friends, and there were 2 ladies that had a really bad attitude when we ordered our coffees and asked for water, I want to think that they were tired of a long day, but still it's a business and they offer a service, the employees have to know that. These 2 employees were rolling eyes, doing things as if they were obligated to do their work. We went to Tierra Mia coffee, because we wanted to have a good time with my friends, when the clock hit 12:00am another employee asked all of the customer to leave, he said because it was 12:00am, because the schedule says they give service 'till 12:00am meaning that if you get there before 12:00am they have to take care of you.

From a loyal customer TIERRA MIA now read and see this is probably the very last time I will frequent this store. Originally the attraction to your establishment was the Mexican flavors the atmosphere comfortable chairs, atmosphere. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED to be advised by your personnel the customer seating has been permanently moved from your establishment because you have a small parking lot. Keep in mind good customer service in a food beverage establishment should always include seating to enhance customer experience. I believe this a good challenge to have which should include a move to another building accommodate the growth your compania has probably experienced since opening shop here no alianate THE PEOPLE THAT PUT YOUR SUCCESS ON THE MAP YOUR CLIENTES! Quite frankly your business looks like A PANDEMIC ERA BUSINESS which is very sad for the customer end result sad for you.

No drive thru. Really bad parking spaces and VERY limited. They do not have any kind of seating inside or outside. 0 chairs or tables. So when you’re waiting for your order ( which there can be a long line and a long wait time) there’s no place for you to sit. Or if you come with friends or family, you cannot sit down and enjoy your drinks. Drinks are okay. Food is also okay, they do run out of stock of their most popular items.

I can’t even believe this place! I came to Tierra Mia Coffee expecting to enjoy my drink and maybe get some work done, but guess what? NO SEATING. Absolutely nowhere to sit. What’s the point of having a coffee shop if there’s no place for people to actually sit and enjoy their coffee?! It’s beyond frustrating. The drinks might be decent, but when you can’t even relax or find a seat, it completely ruins the experience. They seriously need to figure this out. This is not the grab-and-go kind of place they market themselves as. Total letdown. Won’t be back unless they fix this mess.

I stopped by here,1st time. Door opens out from a small stepping area, I didn't see the second small step to get inside. I fell onto my knees. Not one employee came to help me or asked if I was ok. Thank God those 2 people waiting for their order came to my aid. There needs to be a watch your step or fix the way that small step up is with no warning. I was too embarrassed to stick around. Now I'm sore and my knee is killing me. Ugh!

Came here as we've had good experiences with the other stores. The baristas here are aloof. They were chatty and not making drinks for the waiting customers. It took way too long. Barista also doesn't know how to make drinks. My shot was made long before my milk was steamed. And when she steamed the milk it just had a foam cap and the milk was runny on my cappuccino. When combined with the old shot, the drink went straight to the garbage. But it's just what you would expect when the barista is busy talking and laughing and not paying attention.
